BACKSTORY:
→ josephine is the daughter of sam and jessica. her father wanted to keep her away from the supernatural world. sam wanted her to have a normal life, away from the supernatural world. but that all changed when dean, sam's older brother broke into her father's college dorm. after her mother died in the dorm, josephine had no choice but to go with her dad, they however salvaged her stuffed elephant that her mother had given her when she was a baby. she ended up growing in the life that her father hadn't want her to live. she also found out that she had an aunt named evangeline or evie as her dad and uncle dean had called her. after her uncle dean went to hell, josephine did not like ruby at all, she tried telling her father that ruby was going to do something (even if she didn't know exactly what), and he didn't believe her no matter how many times that she had tried to tell him the truth. then when sam found out that ruby had betrayed him, before she died, that was when sam had found the truth of the demon that had gotten him addicted to demon blood and basically made him neglect his own daughter. it was after that when sam and josephine's relationship started shifting and they were always having arguments and not agreeing on anything. they ended up making amends a couple months later, even if she was six years old. it felt like sam was arguing with a teenager.  it was hard for josephine when her father had lost his soul from lucifer, she didn't understand that she couldn't go near her father without at least something happening. so that is why for the most part she stayed with bobby, occasionally seeing her uncle dean, when he needed bobby for something. so, when her father had gotten his soul back josephine was scared of going up towards her father, it was like she couldn't trust him. when she found out that bobby died from the leviathan that is when her heart broke. she couldn't believe that she had lost yet another person that was close in her life. she went through depression as a child after bobby died, and she couldn't do anything that she used to do, because she'd miss him. when charlie bradbury came into the picture, josephine liked her as it was another person to talk to. without bobby josephine's life felt empty in a way, as he had essentially helped raise her when the brothers were too busy with saving the world and trying to keep another apocalypse from happening.
