Backstory: Lindsey Celine Luther was one of the most talented spies and assassins in the entire world, as Natasha Romanoff was in second. Both of them were the founding members of the Avengers. As a child she was indoctrinated into the Red Room by General Dreykov and briefly lived as one of three daughters of Alexei Shostakov and Melina Vostokoff while they were undercover in the United States.

She underwent extensive psychological conditioning before graduating along with Natasha from the Red Room as Black Widow and Eclipse* respectively. Working as two operatives for the KGB, they were targeted by SHIELD before given chances to ultimately defect to the organization by Clint Barton, by assassinating Dreykov. Romanoff and Luther succeeded, although having to use his daughter Antonia's life as collateral damage which would haunt the two girls for the rest of their lives.

Lindsey had extensive mastery in martial arts and armed with the world's finest assassination weapons, Romanoff and Luther became two of SHIELD's most efficient agents. Luther and Romanoff were hired to go undercover into Stark Industries as Amelia Black and Natalie Rushman respectively. During the mission Romanoff and Luther assisted Stark with defeating Ivan Vanko's terrorist plots against him. 

It didn't take long after that for Natasha and Lindsey to start to develop feelings for each other, but they both tried to deny it, for the same reasons. In the red room 'love' and 'falling in love' are weaknesses of being the best assassin in the world. But after the whole thing of Loki taking over New York and all that shit, they both admitted their feelings for each other. Lindsey stuck by Natasha's for so many years since they got assigned to play sisters. They've been waiting to admit their feelings to each other but it wasn't the right time.

Lindsey even stuck with Natasha during the whole Accords even if they're both on different sides, as Lindsey was on Tony's side as Natasha was in the middle not deciding what side that she was on. It took a strain on their relationship but they made it work even through their differences, their relationship had their ups and downs. What took a tole on their relationship more was that Natasha up and left after the Accords while Steve's side was still in prison. Lindsey was always thinking that Natasha was dead but she couldn't find her because she didn't know where Natasha was. But little did she knew was that Natasha was in Europe dealing with her past. Definitely having more fun than Lindsey was. 

So when her and Natasha was reunited Lindsey didn't know if she should be happy about it because her girlfriend had up and left. But they made up as Natasha told Lindsey everything that happened. Then the whole thing of Thanos blipping half of the world for five years sadly, Lindsey was one of those people who blipped. Now it was Natasha's turn to be worried for Lindsey, just as they had made up and their relationship was getting back on track. Everyday Natasha hoped that Lindsey would come back, so when her and the remaining Avengers came up with a plan to get those who had disappeared Natasha only wanted to do it just for Lindsey coming back. When Natasha and Clint were on Volmir with the Soul Stone, Natasha sadly lost her life in the end. As in her defense she slipped, and now Lindsey went into major depression and wasn't mentally in the right mind. 

Sadly a year after everything happened, Lindsey took her life just so that she can be with Natasha in the other side. She was desperate enough to think that if she took her life that she would be reunited with the love of her life. In the end both Natasha and Lindsey was reunited and lived happily ever after. Their stories both came to an end, but it ended on a happy note of the two of them seeing each other again.

[I just wanted it to end with Lindsey and Natasha having their own happily ever after, so that's why Lindsey wasn't in both the Marvel movies and Hawkeye. There is no way I'm letting you change how Lindsey's story comes to an end, meaning there's no way that she will survive in the end, that's non-negotiable. SHE HAS TO DIE! There's no way around it, sorry]
