"The forest of Pandora hold many dangers. But the most dangerous thing about Pandora is that you may grow to love her too much."
"We sing the song cords to remember. Each bead a story of our life."
"A bead for the birth of our son."
"A bead when we adopted our daughter, Kiri, born of Grace's Avatar. The daughter's who's conception is a total mystery."
"A bead for the first communion with Eywa. The people sang 'we live in Eywa and Eywa lives in us.' The Great Mother holds all her children in her heart."
"Happiness is simple. And who would've thought a jarhead like me could crack the code. Before we knew it, we had four."
"When we sent the sky people back to Earth a few of them stayed. Science guys loyal to the to the Na'vi. But, unfortunately, we didn't catch all of them right away. There was a group of top-secret scientists, a group kept locked up so tight not even Dr. Patel knew about it."
"The group held Kamari, a girl who has been through hell. We rescued her a few years ago and welcomed her into our family with open arms."
"A bead for the glowing girl with many mystery's. Kamari was different, special. She was like our children, born Na'vi and human. The scientists claimed they created her, but found her in the forest. She was a mystery, yes, but cherished all the same. We found her broken, but our children and the clan took her in as if she had always belonged. She keeps to herself for the most part, but she does her part all the same, something Neytiri respected. I saw her as myself, alone and desperate to be apart of the world she was born to be in."
"And then there was Spider. He was just stuck here. Too young to for a cryo capsule. Orphaned by the war, he was raised by the lab guys."
"He wasn't part of our family, he was like a stray cat, just always around. Inseparable from our kids. To Neytiri, he would always be alien, one of them."

"I can teach you how to fish!" Neteyam offers Kamari, a couple months of her living with the clan. He was so excited to have finally caught one with his new bow and arrow his mother made him.
But she just stared at him.
"Why doesn't she speak?" Spider asks, jumping into the conversation.
"She's probably just scared," Kiri sticks up for the poor girl, pulling Spider away. Kamari blinks at them. She hasn't spoken more than 10 words since the Sully's saved her, too afraid to say much, anything.

"How tall is he?" Lo'ak asks his father as Jake measures Neteyam.
"He's this tall," Jake points to the indention he made into the tree with his knife. The kids laugh in awe.
"Can we measure Kamari too?" Lo'ak asks excitedly.
"Yeah!" The other Sully children chime in. Kamari looks at the knife in Jake's hand nervously.
"Course," Jake smiles, keeping his frown to himself as he see's the young girls reaction. "Why don't I mark it with my finger?" He raises his index finger.
Kamari nods slowly, hesitantly stepping up the tree. Her face scrunches up and she squeezes her eyes shut as Jake finds the exact spot above her head.
"Kamari is this tall!" He points. She peaks her eyes open, stepping away to look. "Almost as tall as Neteyam," Jake nods proudly.
Kamari has the tiniest smirk grow on her lips.
"Cool!" Lo'ak and Kiri cheer.

"Kiri," Neytiri pulls Kiri closer to her as the Sully's all prepare for their photo to be taken.
"Come on!" Jake urges them, quickly grabbing Tuk's arm.
"Wait, what about Kamari?" Neteyam asks, seeing her sullen face as she watches from the side.
"Nooo, no," Kamari bashfully shakes her head. "I'm not a Sully," She smiles politely.
"No, but you are part of the family," Jake says, jutting his head towards them, "Get in here."
"I-" Kamari goes to argue before Neteyam tugs her arm, pulling her into him.
She melts into his side as he wraps his arm around her waist and the other around his brother.
"Smile skxawng!" Neteyam says to his brother. Kamari smiles the biggest her face has probably ever stretched. After three years of being in her safe haven with the Sully's, she finally found a home. Happiness was finally starting to grow on her. For once, she felt like she could allow herself to be happy and feel free.
"Happiness is simple."
"But the thing about happiness? It can vanish in a heartbeat."
"New star in the night. It can only mean one thing. Ships. Accelerating. Sky People return."
Kamari stares up at the sky, watching the burning stars all around. But, within a matter of seconds, she realizes they are not stars. Flames begin to burst all through the forest. Her new home, her found comfort, being burned up in the blink of an eye. She's never seen fire before, but she can feel the hot, sizzling energy it gives off. She goes to reach for it, fingertips aching to touch for dancing flames-
"We need to go! Now!" Jake yells. "Now!"
The Sully's hurry, rushing their kids out of their beds and onto their feet.
"Kamari!" Neteyam yells. "Kamari! Now! Let's go!" His shouts merely sound like echo's to her in her trance. He pulls her as they begin to run, catching up.
"I can help," Kamari voices.
"No-" Neteyam starts.
"I can hold it off," She looks to him with pleading, determined eyes as animals are being burned alive and the Sully children struggle along.
She holds out her shaky hands, palms flat, fingers spread wide, and she raises her arms up, out in front of her. It's like there's an invisible wall causing the fire stop and build upward.
"Kamari! Karmari!" Neteyam screams.
"What's going on? What's happening?" Jake yells, rushing over, placing his hands on his sons shoulders.
"What is she doing?" Neytiri chokes out between cries.
"Helping us," Neteyam answers, tears forming in his eyes.
Smoke fills Kamari's lungs as her eyelashes feel like they're singeing away. She can feel the fire in her veins as she inches closer and closer towards the edge of the forest before her eyes start to roll to the back of her head.
Neytiri breaks down into sobs, watching her home get burned to the ground once again.
"It's okay," Jake whispers to his wife as she falls back into his arms before the young girl that gave them the chance to make it out of the forest collapses.
"Dad!" Neteyam yells.
"Get with your siblings now! Go!" He yells before looking to Neytiri. She nods, covering her mouth with her hand. Jake runs over to Kamari, looking her all over. Her blue skin has blackened and her breathing is hoarse. Her body feels like a million degrees, burning to the touch of his skin as he picks her up. "No Sully left behind," He whispers, his heart breaking at the sound of his mates cries and Kamari struggling to breathe.
He swallows as he stares at the small girl. He knows how much she means to them, especially to Neteyam who almost got burned tonight trying to protect her. It scares him to think just how much that boy is willing to go through for this girl that has become so important in their lives. He see's the way he looks at her as if she put the stars in the sky. It scares him knowing that's the same look him and Neytiri share, praying his son and Kamari don't go through the same troubling fates as they endured. He thought they were finally safe, at peace. But the Sky People have returned. And he must keep his family safe. That included Kamari, who gave them a chance tonight and saved them.
He knows she's different and has gifts that they haven't even seen the half of. But what terrifies him more than anything is not that those gifts are unknown to him and his family, but that tonight she proved the lengths she would go to use them for his family.
