This book is part of my disney AU series, where I take a disney movie world, expand it, add original characters to it, and introduce a new main romance plot. However, all the books in this series are standalones. You can read the series in whatever order you prefer. Here's a tiny look into the other books:

Yes, this is an AU story from the world of Disney's "The Princess and the Frog" (2009) film. Evangeline Hamilton (24 y/o) is my original character. She is the younger sister of the Queen of Maldonia (48 y/o), who is Prince Naveen's mother. Prince Naveen of Maldonia (24 y/o) is probably already familiar to you guys or you wouldn't be here reading this book. He is Evangeline's nephew, but is the same age due to the age gap between his mother and his aunt (explained in more detail in this book). Princess Tiana of Maldonia (24 y/o) should be familiar to you guys as well. This book takes place a year after the marriage of Naveen and Tiana, so they are already Prince and Princess of Maldonia. I have upped the character ages as I usually do, because otherwise the themes I have included in this book will be highly inappropriate for younger aged characters. If you are a reader of my previous disney AU books, then I know you don't mind!

Summary,
The year is 1927.
When the twenty-four year old Princess of Maldonia and a practicing witch, Evangeline Hamilton's, life is endangered upon the murder of her father, the elder Queen of Maldonia arranges for her sister to be sent to New Orleans for her safety where the Princess finds herself sentenced to living in secret.

The New Orleans Police Department is charged to primarily guard the life of the Maldonian royal while protecting her identity, but things get personal when Evangeline comes across the adamant, stoic, infuriatingly closed off presence of Theodore Stanhope, the Chief of Police of the NOPD, who has dark secrets of his own.

Further, when Evange stumbles upon an old empty antique journal, her spiritual life takes a turn for the worse when strange and horrifying occurences begin around her, opening connections with her father's murder and the darkness surrounding the closed off and intimidating Theo Stanhope, and that cursed journal.
