the young ginger had been found by HYDRA agents, looking for somebody to experiment on. she was quite clearly a fighter, considering she had just been a victim of a hit and run.

the last thing she remembered was the blinding headlights of the vehicle before she was hit, and then immense pain.

the next thing she knew, she was being trained to use these weird powers, and everything was strange. she was being taught how to fight, just a child robbed of a regular childhood.

though nobody cared. nobody stopped it, they just watched it happen.

she was just as naïve as a regular child, generally coaxed into a false sense of security, which is why she hadn't really been fighting to get away from the HYDRA agents who kidnapped her, for they were all she knew.

but then one day, there were blaring sirens. and dark things were happening, things that made her scared and made her want to be far away.

and soon enough, she was just that, far away.
