The night sky was up in Nassau as a truck could be seen driving along the road and towards the Cameron vacation house. Most lights through the windows of the buildings around shined through the curtains, showing that some people were still awake. Hours had gone by since the couple reunited and they found themselves in the front of the vehicle, John B driving while Y/n sat in the passenger's seat, staring out the window at the fancy mansions they were passing along the way.

In the bed of the truck, Terrance, Cleo and Stubbs had a large sheet covering the lower part of their bodies as they waited to get to their destination. Earlier in the day, Y/n had been able to contact Sarah Cameron, informing her about their plan and she helped. The three in the back were quick to hide themselves under the large sheet when John B announced that they were at the mansion. As they turned a corner, Y/n lets out a sigh, glancing to her boyfriend.

"You left without saying anything. You lied." Y/n reminds.

John B nods awkwardly. "I am very aware of that, and I am very sorry. And I shouldn't have gone."

"No, I don't care if you went. I care that you didn't tell me. I thought we do everything together." Y/n admits, crossing her arms.

"We do." John B replies, reaching with one hand to grab her hand. "I'm sorry. I should've taken you with me."

"Is the gold even there?" Y/n questions.

"Uh... I think so." John B stammers out.

Y/n raises a brow. "You think?"

The brunette doesn't respond as he stops by the booth where the security guard was. The man held a phone to his ear as he spoke to someone about a dog, while the couple sat their awkwardly. When the security guard turned to them, lowering the phone so he could listen, John B lied about needing to pick up a leaf blower, which surprisingly, the security guard let them go through, even when the teenager's lie didn't sound very believable.

John B drove slow and steady as he drove through the gate that opened up by the guard, driving around until he was parking right out front of the house, a waterfall being seen in the middle. Everyone was hopping out of the truck while Y/n ventured towards a bush near the front door, remember Sarah had told her about a seashell she had hid in the grass awhile back, a key hidden inside.

Soon finding the said seashell and shaking it, hearing the clink of the keys inside, she holds out her palm, shaking it until the key fell into her hand. Clutching the metal in her hand, the Maybank girl ventures towards the door, using the key to unlock it, twisting the handle as the door opens before she's turning to the others, showing them that they had a way inside the Cameron vacation house.

"Get in. We don't have all night." Terrance states. "Go."

Watching as she looked over at all of them, John B watches as his girlfriend motions for them to follow before she was heading inside. Turning a few corners, the safe full of the gold inside could be seen just ahead.

The brunette stops beside the safe while Y/n crouches in front of it, the others standing around as the e/c eyed girl took a deep breath, trying to remember what Sarah had said about the code. Looking down at her wrist that had pen-ink on it, she looked at the numbers before typing them into the machine, going to open it. However, a beep was heard as it stayed closed shut.

Terrance shakes his head. "I knew I should've never listened to you."

"Sarah said her dad usually uses his birthday." Y/n recalls, trying again. "Maybe I entered it wrong."

The sound of Terrance's voice ushering her to hurry up only frustrated the girl even more as she tried it a different way. Looking down at the other numbers on her wrist that Sarah gave her for a possible code, as the blonde didn't know the code either, could only really guess from what she knew her dad used, Y/n tried the numbers that were Sarah's step mother, Rose Cameron's birthday but, once again, it didn't work.

Looking down at the more numbers on her wrist, she tried them all but they didn't seem to be working. John B stared at her as he watched her close her eyes, seeming to be deep in thought before her eyes open. The reminder of Sarah's birthday came through her brain before she typed it in, twisting the handle.

What they didn't expect, was for the handle to twist even more as a sound filled their eardrums. While pulling on the door, Y/n stands up, the gold soon revealed as it all laid inside. Cleo and Terrance rambled about things, Cleo even stating she needed shades before Stubbs was rushing off to get the bags when Terrance instructed him to do so.

"Security's here!" Stubbs calls out.

Turning around to follow where his gaze was, they looked out the windows as lights shined through, seeing at least two cars pulling up, seeing cops hopping out of their vehicles. John B quickly rushed to the safe, closing the door as Stubbs, Cleo and Terrance as ran out of the door just near them before the couple were following. However, Terrance had been quick to close the door on them before they could rush past the doorway, locking it on his side.

"Terrance, what are you doing?" John B asks in a frantic tone.

"You're the bait that's gonna slow them down." Terrance tells them. "See you later."

And with that, he rushed off, leaving the couple to bang on the window as the shouted to him. Realizing the cops were getting closer, Y/n found herself grabbing her boyfriend's hand as she rushed behind the sofa in the room, the teenagers hiding behind it.

The sound of the cops voices rang through the house as they walked in, the lights from their flashlights shining in the dark structure as they searched for the people who they were informed were inside. Peaking up a bit, the Maybank girl took notice that they were walking past them.

"I'm gonna go upstairs and distract them." John B whispers.

Y/n shakes her head instantly. "No. You'll get caught."

"What else do we have?" John B questions, receiving no response as they both knew he was right.

"Shit." Y/n curses in a whisper. "Alright. If you do that, Sarah told me they have a boat somewhere behind the property. In a cove, I think. I'll look for the keys. Meet me there as soon as you can, okay?"

Nodding in response, the two slowly got up from their crouched positions, peaking out from the couch before they were running forward when they didn't see the cops. John B rushed upstairs while Y/n ran another way, John B's voice soon shouting around as he distracted the cops.

Walking through a door and looking over her shoulder, Y/n takes notice of the cops rushing by her and in the direction of her boyfriend's voice. Running along the back of the house outside, she saw John B running upstairs on the balcony in the corner of her eye before she ran down some stairs.

Trying to remember that Sarah told her her family had the keys to the boat on a tree, she sprints to the said tree as she was near the beach, frantically searching around for the pair of keys that she and John B needed for the boat.

Catching sight of a bright red color, she spins herself to the direction, seeing a pair of keys on a small hanger that was no doubt nailed there by one of the Cameron's. Just as she turns around, she stops right in her tracks at the sight of Terrance standing there, Stubbs and Cleo behind him while he was aiming a gun at her.

"Give me the keys." Terrance demands, but she doesn't do anything. "Don't play with me, girlie. You play silly games with me, baby, you get silly prizes. Don't try me. Give me the goddamn keys now."

When she didn't obey his orders like he wanted, he looked to Stubbs, motioning his head over to her. Stubbs was stepping towards the girl, tightly grabbing her hand that had the keys, but she fought as she elbowed him right in the torso but his grip didn't seem to release on her hand.

Using one hand, he wrapped his arm around her shoulders as he tried to make her let go, receiving a stomp on his foot. Even with a gun aimed right at her still, she didn't seem to be scared to fight back. However, she stopped when Stubbs grip on her hand tightened even more and Terrance stepped closer, taking the safety off of the gun which made her stop. With a clenched jaw, Y/n slowly let her hand release from the fist she had, letting Stubbs take the keys before he and Terrance were running off.

"I'm sorry." Cleo says.

Y/n took notice by the tone of her voice she actually sounded sorry before she was following the two men, leaving the e/c eyed girl behind. She watched them, jaw still clenched, as they ran themselves into the water and towards the boat ahead. Glancing up back at the house, wondering if John B had been caught yet, she was sprinting back up, forgetting about their escape plan by boat.

Stopping just near the top, her eyes widened at the sight of John B being dragged by two cops, his grunts filling her ears. Without a thought, she was running in the direction, stopping just behind the wall when she saw John B on his knees, hands behind his head, police surrounding him while one cop had a phone in his hand, his ringtone being heard as he was no doubt calling someone before they answered and another cop had a gun aimed at the teenager.

"Mr. Cameron, sorry to disturb you at this time. This is Island Security." The cop begins, making Y/n's eyes widen. "But we've apprehended a suspect trying to break into your house."

"What does he look like?" Ward Cameron's voice comes from the phone.

"He's Caucasian, male. Maybe seventeen, eighteen." The cop guesses, inspecting John B with his eyes.

"Put the camera on his face." Ward orders.

"Mr. Cameron wants to look at you." The cop tells John B, but the boy shakes his head as he looks down. "Hold his head up."

One of the other cops do as told, grabbing ahold of John B's hair and pulling his head back, revealing his face.
