Arielle's POV

I looked at the door that stood in front of me as I took a deep breath placing my hand onto the doorknob twisting it open. I tried to push my slick with sweat out of my face with no such luck as I placed my bare feet into the cold tiled floor of the pack house. I knew that I probably looked horrible, I mean I was only wearing my uncle's jacket and I was covered in sweat but I did not care, the cold air that came towards me from the house made me shiver as it mixed with the cold air from outside.

I looked up from my feet to see that everyone in the room was now silent as they were looking at me, but my eyes did not stay on them for long as they landed on Zander who also had his worried eyes on me looking me over to see if I was hurt anywhere. When his eyes landed on my nude body I heard as a growl slipped past his lips, most likely not liking that his mate was in the nude in a male's jacket.

"Mate was worried for us"

Before I could say anything to anyone in the room Zander made his way to where I was standing and pulled me into his warm embrace, which I happily replied to with a hug back for him.I knew that he was breathing in my scent because that was exactly what I was doing as I was in his arms. I do not know if I even smelled pleasant at the moment seeing as I was covered in sweat...

" I was so worried about you my love, why do you not have any clothes on? Did the people who took you do anything to you because if they did-"

Before he could even finished the sentence I started to shake my head 'no' I did not want him worrying about anything like that because I could see the thought of something like that happening to me was killing him and I did not like my mate feeling like that. I grabbed the back of his head bringing it closer to mine giving his lips a small peck before I turned my attention to everyone else that was in the room with us at the moment and then looking at my uncle and then at my mate.

"The reason that I have no clothes is because I freaked out and Winter took control, and the two of us shifted... When I came back to my human form I was of course nude. I was not harmed I mean they did put me in a cage and the shifting was painful due to said cage... but they did not know how I would react to them"

I got a thoughtful look on my face as I trailed off. When I looked back up I saw Zander as he had his eyebrows raised looking at me

"Who are 'they' Arielle?"

Before I answered Zander's question I thought that it would be a good idea if I covered myself up a bit more than I was currently so I walked to one of the sofas that was in the room grabbing the throw blanket that was on the back of the sofa and wrapping myself in it while I took a seat on the soft sofa turning my gaze so that it was facing my mate who was already looking at me.

"My uncles Jacksolm and Anocolus"

Once I said my two newly found uncles names I watched as Marcus' head shut up to look at me with surprise written all over his face. I saw that since my uncle made such a rash move Zander turned his gaze away from me and looked at my uncle, who did not even give a glance at Zander, he was only looking at me. Zander looked at my uncle in suspicion asking if my two uncles could be trusted by us, I could not blame him, we thought we could trust my mother and look where that got us... I watched as my uncle gulped at the question as he turned his gaze to look at Zander for a millisecond before turning back to look at me while nodding his head at me.

"Yes Zander they can be trusted, they and another brother of mine were the only ones in the entire court on Olympus to see past Amanda's sneaky schemes. They stood up for me when I was before the court and got my godhood revoked"

I could feel a slight unnoticeable smile come onto my face at the mention of another brother and the thought of 'Krono' came to mind seeing as both of my uncles said he was the one that took me from my home in the first place. I saw that Zander was about to say something in return to Marcus but I decided that I wanted to say something before him

"Was the other brother Krono by any chance?"

I watched my uncle as the only thing that he did was give me a nod of his head as he sat down on the other sofa that sat in front of the one that I was currently sitting putting his head into his hand and started to rub his forehead, I sighed before taking my eyes off of him turning them to my mate who was standing a small bit away from me. After a few moment of him just staring at my uncle he turned his gaze to look at me again.

"What did your uncles tell you Arielle?"

I silently had a conversation about how I was going to tell Zander that the war that my mother was bringing was closer than all of us could have thought... but after a few moment I looked up at my mate who was still looking at me

"They told me the war is upon us Zander... My mother plans to attack in a week's time"

I knew that the news that I just told him made him even more anxious because he took a gasp of air while looking at me and then turning his gaze to look at everyone that was currently in the room with us, who also held looks that I could not really decifer

Once I told Zander and everyone else that the war was going to be happening in a week Zander send a message through the pack link to everyone telling them to come to the great hall, which is basically a large room in the back of the house where they have parties and meetings that the whole pack has to come to. Once everyone arrived Zander, Alec, Nella and I were in front of everyone telling them where they would be stationed when the war begins.

Once I told the last ten pack warriors and a few male civilian wolves that volunteered to fight that they would be station on the West side of the property when Zander told me that he, Zeke, Cara, Alec, Nella and I along with some pack warriors would be station on the east side of our property making me give him a slight nod telling him that I heard what he said as I turned to the pack members that were going to be fighting in the war alongside us, as they looked at us, making Zander step up and begin speaking in a very serious voice.

"As your Alpha I am very pleased to have you in my pack, If you are to die in the battle you shall be honored, Warrior or Civilian; because you are honorable for fighting for the lives of those who cannot fight. War is upon us, we will rise out on top, we are the largest and most feared pack in America! Let us show these useless rogues why the Blood Moon Pack got that title! "

When my mate finished his small inspiring speech to our people I had a smile on my face as the people in the crowd in front of us were hooting out at their alpha making it bounce of the walls and echo, making it sound much louder than it really was. Our small celebration was soon cut short by the sounds of screams coming from outside. At the sound of the screams many thought that we were under attack so many of the pack warriors went to run out the door that led to the outside but they were stopped by Zander.

Zander knew that we were not under attack because we only heard one scream and if we were under attack there would be many more than just that. When the battle came we would have to bring all the mothers and children and the elders of the pack into the house and underground where we had a large safe house that could hold a large amount of people and still have space for everyone. I was glad that we did not have to worry about that at the moment as we walked into the Summer air.

A few pack warriors and Alec, Zeke and Nella followed behind Zander and myself as we walked into the trees and through the wooded area, over a few logs until we made it to a very beautiful clearing that had purple flowers, that smelled really lovely in them. When I took a deep breath the first thing that came into my nostrils was blood. When all of us walked closer to where we smelt the blood I let a small gasp pass through my lips as my eyes landed on where the smell of blood was coming from...
