"I'm so sorry about the other day. I'm trying. We'll get through this. Uh, I know, because I love you. I love you more than--." Stiles groans and cuts himself off, making it clear that he's actually delivering a message from Allison rather than just talking to Scott himself. "Oh, my God, I can't. You and Allison just have to find a better way to communicate."

"I feel bad for you, honey." Izzy pinches the boys cheek. Stiles playfully slaps her hand away.

"Come on, you're the only one that we can trust." Scott tells him. "We would've used Izzy, but you know—."

"I don't like Allison." Izzy interrupts.

"Exactly." Scott nods and looks back to Stiles. "Is she coming to the game tonight?"

"Yes!" Stiles exclaims. "Okay, message complete. Now, tell us about your boss."

"He thinks that Allison's family keeps some kind of, uh, records of all the things that they've hunted, like a book..."

"He probably means a Bestiary." Izzy states as her eyes catch sight of Rowan. The two haven't spoken since she left. She knew he was watching her from afar and has been for a while. Either he was doing it for Marcel or he just missed her. Izzy had nothing against him, not at all.

"What?" Scott tilt his head.

"A Bestiary." Stiles repeats.

Scott starts to giggle. "I think you mean bestiality."

"Nope, pretty sure we don't." Stiles says, unamused.

"It's like an encyclopedia of mythical creatures." Izzy adds as she fiddles with the ends of Stiles's flannel that he had lent her.

"How am I the only one who doesn't know anything about this stuff?" Scott groans.

"Okay, you're my best friend, you're a creature of the night..." Stiles turns his gaze to Izzy. "And you're my...my very special...,yeah friend and you're a creature of just everything. It's kind of, like, a priority of mine to know all this."

Izzy would be lying if the use of friend didn't hurt her a bit, but there was nothing she could do. It was her fault they weren't together. She blames her past and current trauma. She can't allow people to actually love her, it sucks.

Scott sighs. "Okay. If we can find it, and it can tell us what this thing is--."

"And who." Stiles adds.

All three of them share a look. "...We need that book!"

Izzy sat at one of the long tables in the library. She was amusingly watching Stiles run back and forth between Allison and Scott, giving them whatever message they had for the other.

She knew it was about the Bestiary and some flirting in between that Stiles hated repeating. Every time she would laugh, Stiles would send her a playful glare, but inwardly he was smiling and filled with joy knowing that he was able to put a smile on her face. That's what she needed these past couple of days.

"Breath, Sti!" Izzy shouts after him. Stiles flips her off as he runs off, making her let out a loud laugh.

"Oh have I missed that." A voice says from behind her, making her jump.

"Jesus." Izzy jumps and looks up at the culprit. "Rowan, you know better than to sneak up on me like that."

"Yeah, yeah." Rowan takes a seat next to her. "You know I never listen."

"It seems to run in the family." Izzy comments as she goes back to stuffing her face back into one of her textbooks.

A loud, awkward silence fills the air between the two. Rowan clears his throat. "The vampire we've been searching for...he, um, left bodies, but we cleaned them up. He's also getting closer...to the house I mean. He's been close. We think he isn't showing because you haven't been there."

"When I left." Izzy starts letting her eyes roam over the book on the table. "I was being followed, it could've been them. I didn't see, I just ran."

"We need to keep an eye on you. Make sure you aren't taken off guard or anything." Rowan taps his finger's against the side of his leg.

"Is that why you've been following me around from a distance?" Izzy turns and glance at him. "Did Marcel and Kol have you do that?"

"They just want to make sure your safe and—."

"And I am safe." Izzy rolls her eyes. "I stay with my father, he wouldn't let anything happen to me. They need to worry about the Mikealson they have in their home."

"Nobody in the house is speaking to each other." Rowan takes the book out of Izzy's hands. "Not even Davina and Kol. It's horrible and awkward. You-You need to hear them out."

"No, no way." Izzy shakes her head frantically. "I don't care why she's here. I don't want her here and I surely don't need her help with whatever they brought her here for. I-I can't look at her without wanting to break down. I can't."

Rowan takes her hand in his. He gives it a squeeze. "I know how much this is going to take, but can you just listen to them. At least Kol and Davina. It's about your father—Klaus. It's about him and the rest of them."

Izzy just looks at him before squeezing his hand and letting it go. She runs that hand through her hair and looks back at him. She gives him the smallest nod. "I'll see. That's all your getting from me."

"At least it isn't a no." Rowan shrugs as he gives her, her book back.

Izzy gives him a glare and stands, looking over at Stiles who was leaning against a table next to Allison out of breath. "I'm going to go tend to him. You still gonna watch over me?"

"Always." Rowan smiles.

Izzy chuckles and walks away from her cousin and towards Stiles. She takes a seat in front of Allison and Stiles immediately drops on her lap.

"You know, drug dealers have been using disposable cell phones pretty successfully for years..." Stiles takes a big breath in. He leans his head back into Izzy's lap. Izzy running her hand through his short hair.

"My parents check every call, email, and text message I get." Allison informs him. "Trust me-- they'd find it."

"Some trustworthy parents you have." Izzy mumbles. Allison gives her a look. Izzy flashes her eyes making her flinch back.

"All right." Stiles cuts in, sitting up and running his hand up and down Izzy's arm comfortingly. "Can you get the book?"

"Not without his keys." Allison states.

"This is going to be a challenge." Izzy mutters looking at Stiles's hand that brought her a sense of relief.

Izzy was sitting on the bench next to Stiles as they watched the lacrosse game that was going on in front of them. Izzy faked an injury, leaving Coach to sadly put her out. He fought the whole thing saying that she was fine, but with a glare from the Hale and Ms.McCall, he reluctantly sat her down and out.

The crowd groaned as a midfielder flew through the sky, landing on the ground with a hard thud. The boy hitting him was big and full of heavy muscle. He looked stronger than most of the supernaturals combined.

"Come on, is that thing even a teenager?!" Coach yells as the red only blows his whistle in response. "I wanna see a birth certificate!"

Coach walks and takes a seat in between Stiles and Izzy, separating them. Stiles groans inwardly. Coach looks between them, ignoring the look he got from Stiles. "Who or what is that genetic experiment gone wrong?"

"Eddie Abramovitz, Coach." Izzy informs him, reading off the clipboard handed to her.

"They call him 'The Abomination.'" Stiles pipes in.

Coach scoffs. "Oh, that's cute. We could really use you right now, Hale. You are your leg—."

"Coach."

"Sorry."

In the stands, Melissa squirms and cringes as she watches player after player limp off the field. A boy walks next to her and glances at her before speaking. "He belong to you?"

"No, mine is still on the field... while I'm here, wishing that he would've stuck with tennis." Melissa's eyes land on the camera in his hand. "You the yearbook photographer?"

"No." Matt, the boy with the camera denies. "I, uh, I just take pictures."

"Just lacrosse, or other things?" Melissa questions.

"Anything that catches my eye..." Matt trails off as he looks down at his camera. Melissa looks down also and sees a multiple pictures of Izzy and Allison, she sucks in a break before they walk away.

Back on the field, Izzy turns her head, her eyes catching sight of Allison who was already looking her way, the Argent gives her a nod. Izzy looks to Stiles and nudges him, Stiles jumps up, Izzy behind him as they quickly run over to the bleachers. Allison trying her best to quickly pass them the keys.

Once the key was in Stiles's hand, Izzy intertwined their fingers and took off running back towards the building. As they ran, the cheers got louder, but the sound of sniffling and crying got louder. Izzy rushes to the parking lot, pulling Stiles with her. Her eyes widen when she sees Lydia there crying.

Izzy looks to Stiles. Stiles kisses the back of her hand, mumbling against it. "Go and talk to
her."

"But—."

"Go." Stiles urges. With one more kiss to the back of her hand, he takes off towards the main building.

Izzy smiles watching him disappear into the distance before she turns back to the car and approaches it. She knocks on the window and motions for Lydia to put it down, which she does. "Hey, Lyds, what's wrong?"

Lydia stays quite, only wipes her eyes removing the stray tears off her face. Izzy sighs and opens her door. "Lydia, come on...talk to me, please?"

"Just go away." Lydia responds tearfully.

"What's wrong?" Izzy asks gently, taking her best friends hands into hers.

Lydia looks up at her. "Look, I don't need anyone seeing me cry."

"Ah, come on, Lydia!" Izzy groans. "Look, you shouldn't care if people see you cry, all right? I've seen you cry so many times. To be honest, you're the most beautiful crier I have ever seen. It makes me jealous."

Lydia let's out a small chuckle. She looks at Izzy, teary eyed. Izzy smiles. "There's that gorgeous smile. Now spill. What's going on?"

"I-I feel like I'm losing my mind and myself. I'm going absolutely crazy, I'm seeing things nobody else is seeing, all the thoughts from that night are constantly reoccurring, I can't sleep, I'm punching mirrors and-and I don't know who I am anymore!" Lydia cries.

Izzy takes her into her embrace. "You are the strongest girl I know, Lyds. You know that? You are the person that taught me how to strive through the harder times. I know everything is getting abnormal, but you have to keep fighting for yourself and your peace. I'm going to be by your side through it all, you are not alone and you need to understand that, okay? You have me, your mom, Allison and Rowan all here to support you."

"She's right." A familiar voice says from behind her. The two girls look and see Rowan. "We aren't going anywhere. You're gonna have to get use to us."

"I think I can." Lydia giggles as she wipes tears off her face. "Thank you, Iz. You're the best."

"No, Lyds." Izzy kisses the girls forehead. "You're the best. Never forget that."

Izzy let's the girl go, the two of them slowly moving apart. Izzy looks to Rowan. "I have to go help Stiles. You think you could—?"

"Go. I got her." Rowan assures moving towards the car. "Go save people like you always do."

Izzy kisses his cheek and gives Lydia one last hug before she took off into building. She ran towards the principal's office, only to find nobody. She decided to speed through the halls, heading out for any voices. She comes to a sudden halt when she hears voice coming from the pool area.

The Hale girl speeds towards the two doors before barging in. She stops, her eyes widening when she sees Stiles and her father in the middle of the pool, Stiles holding him up.

"IZZY!" Stiles shouts her name. "The lizard thing is here! You're going to have to get into the pool!"

Izzy went to react, but she stopped when the lizard creature, jumped next to her. Izzy turned around, her and the creature looking at each other, eye to eye. Something about it's eyes made it seem familiar, but other than that, the thing was horrifying.

"This thing looks like the uglier version of the gecko from that geico commercial."

"Not the time, Bells!"
