𝑴𝑨𝑽𝑰𝑺 𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑻𝑪𝑯𝑬𝑹 𝑾𝑨𝑺 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑲𝑰𝑫𝑺 𝑭𝑨𝑽𝑶𝑼𝑹𝑰𝑻𝑬 𝑪𝑶𝑼𝑵𝑺𝑬𝑳L𝑶𝑹 𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑺𝑼𝑴𝑴𝑬𝑹.

She used to attend Hackett's Quarry Summer Camp when she was younger, but now, due to her friend, Emma, she decided to sign up as a counsellor. It wasn't her ideal way to spend her summer break, but after a few days, she eased into the routine. Mavis loved to hang out with the other counsellors at the camp, and she did get a bit closer with a certain member, whom she might have even developed a small crush on. Not that she would admit it.

At the camp, she was mostly known amongst the children for her spooky stories by the campfire and her movie nights that she hosted. Amongst the older children she even held pendulum sessions to contact the dead, obviously she didn't actually take it seriously but she did manage to get a few things correct which earned her some change from the children, surprising even her. But the reason she was the favourite was because of her resemblance to the character in the movie Hotel Transylvania, Mavis didn't see it, she thought it was only because of her name being the same. Nevertheless, the children began to ask her if she was real. How was Dracula, could she turn into a bat and began chanting "bleh bleh bleh" anytime she was near. Mavis went along with it for the whole duration of the camp, and it soon became an inside joke amongst the group of counsellors.

After the summer camp was over and the kids who attended left, the group of counsellors were the next to leave. That was the plan, but due to Jacob sabotaging the engine so he could spend another night with Emma, they were left stranded for another day. What none of the teens expected was the nightmarw that they were going to be met with.
