And we're back! I took a little bit of a hiatus (almost two years 😅) from Wattpad and from this fic because I had lost a lot of my writing motivation and because I wanted to move onto other things, but with season 5 of Stranger Things quickly approaching, I've found myself thinking more and more about this fic.

For those of you who are new, this fic (previously titled "King of the Court") was originally published as something I called a "build-your-own story", where readers were able to vote on components of the fic like the fandom, title, love interest, plot, cover, faceclaims, etc. Since so much time has lapsed, I've decided to re-publish it as a normal fic, however I'm keeping most of the choices that were voted on previously. I really like the direction the story is going in so nothing plot-wise is going to be changing in the re-published chapters (1-5). The only things changing as of now, are the title, some faceclaims, and there's some slight tweaking to the original chapters so that the writing flows better now that it's not voting-based.

A couple FYI's before we begin...

1. — This fic does not take place in the same universe as "001", although I may drop some little Easter eggs here and there just for funsies.

2. — For the most part, this fic will follow canon starting with season 1 but there may be some divergence in later seasons.

3. — Please be kind and considerate to myself and others. Any bullying or hateful behavior will result in your comments being deleted and you being blocked.

4. — It should go without saying but please do not plagiarize. While this fic utilizes pre-established characters, settings, and plots that belong to the creators of Stranger Things, several elements, such as OC's and certain plot points, are my own.
