During the lunch break, Stefan came up to Ivy.

„You didn't come yesterday?" He asked.

„Uh, I was busy." She turned around and wanted to go, just as he grabbed her hand.

„No, what's wrong?" He asked, with a gentle grin on his face.

„Stefan, if you like her that's fine, please just leave me out of it." Ivy wanted to get aways as fast as possible.

„Like who?"

„Elena. I saw her on your door last night, so I went home again." She could feel the tears, Ivy tried not to let them roll.

„That's not- Ivy, I gave a book to her, she returned it last night. Look, what if you come over today and we'll just hang out for a bit."

She wanted to refuse, but she couldn't. „Fine."

As they walked to class, and talked, a football, thrown by Tyler, came flying right up to Stefan,  he turned around quickly and caught it, everyone around them was shocked.

They walked further, when Ivy asked „Why don't you try out for the football team?"

„Yeah, I don't think so." He answered.

„You don't like football?"

„No, it's a great sport. I don't think football liked me. You've seen Tyler over there." Stefan said.

„Tyler is best friends with Matt, and Matt probably doesn't like you because you've been hanging around Elena pretty often. Even they noticed." Ivy said in a sarcastic tone.

After school the girls had cheer practice, before it started, Ivy saw Stefan on the bleachers, sitting all alone.

She decided to walk over to him, „Hey Loner!"
He replied with a soft „Hi." Ivy noticed that Stefan was playing with his ring. „What's up with the ring? You're wearing it 24/7."

„Uhm- It's a family heirloom."

„It's very pretty, can try it on?" Ivy questioned in a flirty way. „Uh I don't like to take it off." Stefan told her.

„Okay, that's fine." And that was when Ivy's break was over. „Try to apply for the football team." She told him and left.

When Ivy returned to the cheer team, she saw Caroline arriving, in Damon's car. They kissed and then she left the car.

„Oh my gosh, guys, that's Stefan's brother." Ivy whispered to Bonnie and Elena.

„I got the other brother. Hope you don't mind, whoever got him." Caroline said, looking between Ivy and Elena, as she walked over to them.

„Sorry I'm late, girls. I, uh, was busy. All right, let's start with the double pile herkey hurdler, what you say?" Caroline told the whole team.

Ivy just looked at Damon, he had that creepy smirk on his face again and then he drove away.

After cheer practice, Ivy went over to the football court, hoping to see Stefan. And that's what she did, he was playing in the team. Just seeing him made her smile instantly.

After school Ivy and Bonnie were over at Elena's house, having dinner. Though there was still this tension, which made things awkward. Bonnie tried her best to make the situation better. She told them about her seeing the same numbers everywhere she goes. Her grandma had told her that it was something witchy. Unlike Caroline, Ivy actually believed that the witch-stuff is true. Where else should the movies get there ideas, right?

After dinner Ivy helped Elena cleaning the dishes, while Bonnie was still in the living room.
Finally Ivy decided to talk to Elena about the Stefan situation.

„Elena, I know things have been weird with Stefan. If you want him, get him. I don't want him if that means losing our friendship. I would never let a stupid guy get between me and any friend of mine." She said, honest as she ever could be.

Elena hesitated for a second. „Ivy, I didn't like the 'does he choose her or me' either. I saw the way he looked at you, and that's all I need to know. He wants you. And as long as you're happy, I'm happy."

Both of them smiled at each other, then embraced each other tightly. That hug gave Ivy comfort and reassurance, that everything would be okay. Suddenly the bell rang.

„I'll get it." Ivy told her. She walked through the living room, to the door, opening it.

„Caroline! And...Damon. Yay." She said sarcastically.

„Surprise! Bonnie said you were doing dinner, so we brought desert." Caroline said, as she was holding up a cake. „Hope you don't mind." Damon smirked. Ivy had to hold the eye roll back. She smiled and moved a little gesturing for them to come in. Caroline walked in, as Elena came to the door, to see who it was. Damon still stood outside, which made Ivy suspicious.

„Come on in." Elana told him. Finally he came inside, as if he waited for her to tell him to come in. Ivy waved the suspicion off, she thought it was just Damon being extra.

The evening went on, it was fun. Although Ivy did her best to keep her distance from Damon and barely talk to him. She knew there was something up with him and that he wasn't good enough for Caroline. By the way he acted and talked to her, Ivy knew he wasn't good.

Damon, Caroline and Ivy sat together in the living room, while Elena and Bonnie were in the kitchen. After some time Damon turned to Caroline and said „Hey, you know uhm- Elena and Bonnie are finishing up the dishes. Why don't you go see if you can help?" Ivy knew exactly what Caroline would answer.

„Do I look like I do dishes?" Caroline turned to Damon. Ivy hadn't expected any other answer. Both, Ivy and Caroline laughed lightly. Then Damon asked, „For me?" This really made Ivy cringe, he seriously thought the world only spins around him. „Hmm. I don't think so." Ivy smirked at that reply.

Damon stared Caroline deeply in the eyes. „Go see if Elena needs help in the kitchen." Ivy was almost scared by the way he said it. „You know what, I'm gonna go see if Elena needs some help in the kitchen." Caroline suddenly told them.

Huh?

„Great." Damon smiled at her, as Caroline gets up and leaves.

It was only Ivy and Damon in the living room. So she decided to tell him the truth. „I really think you're a weirdo and I don't know what psychological play you just played. But if you hurt Caroline in any way, I promise I will hurt you." She said in a cold tone, without any emotion in her voice or face, holding eye contact the whole time while saying it.

Damon just stared at her, smirking. That smirk disgusted her. „You know, I think my brother really likes you." Ivy glared at him. „He does, huh?"

The next evening, there was a football game with almost the whole school there. Ivy was in her cheer uniform, along Bonnie and Caroline. Elena hat quit the cheer team. Before the game Stefan walked over to Ivy.

She smiled at him. „Hey, first game huh?" He smiled at her and nodded. „I got something for you." Stefan showed a brown-ish box to her and opened it. It was a beautiful gold necklace with a round pendant and some flower-ish things engraved. „Stefan, this is beautiful, thank you so much." He smiled once again, „Beautiful necklace for a beautiful girl." Then he took the necklace out of the box and going behind Ivy to put the necklace on. „Suits you really well." Ivy chuckled. „Oh, the game is about to begin. You should get ready." She told him.

After the game Jeremy and Tyler started fighting and beating each other. Ivy assumed it was about Vicki, considering both boys liked her. Stefan tried stopping the fight, but his hand got sliced open by a broken glass bottle, Tyler hat picked up.

Ivy ran towards him, „Shit, are you okay?" She asked while looking at his fist. „I think you have to get a bandage or stitches." She opened his hand, revealing a complete uninjured hand, which left Ivy confused and suspicious. „I'm fine, it wasn't my blood." But Ivy has seen his hand getting cut with her own eyes, or was she losing it?

During the game, Ivy had seen Damon walk around, which made her uncomfortable. He wasn't in school anymore but always hanging around students slash minors? She couldn't help but think that maybe he was a weirdly obsessed guy and perhaps dangerous.

When Ivy was walking to her car with Bonnie, there were a lot of people looking at police officers and blaring sirens. Mr. Tanner was found dead in the parking lot.

I'm so sorry about not writing so long. As you can see I decided not to let Stefan be at Elena's house. I thought it would be weird for Elena to tell her she's fine with Ivy and Stefan being together and then still inviting him. Also this chapter is not edited, I'm very sorry if there are any mistakes.
