⤷ THE BATTLE OF WILLOW CREEK... a night of tragedy, mystery and chaos. However, Victoria Seraphina Gilbert's story didn't start that night. Actually, it began on September 15th, 1864, just a week before the first Founder's Ball in Mystic Falls, which was held in the Gilbert's memory.

KATHERINE PIERCE was filled with jealousy the moment her polished heels hit the gravel outside of the Salvatore house, one hand intertwined with the hand of Emily Bennett and both of her eyes set on Damon and Stefan Salvatore. Though, their eyes were already pulled towards the daughter of Johnathon Gilbert.

ENVY CLOUDED THE VAMPIRE'S VISION and Katherine acted recklessly, wanting nothing more than to make Victoria Gilbert's lifetime miserable. And that she did and everybody in Mystic Falls had believed that their beloved Victoria had died, body missing without a trace.

Finally, the title used to be "Lust For Life" but I've changed it to "Chasing Shadows" !
