It's okay to lose friends, right?
It's okay to not be as close;
It's okay to drift apart, yeah?
It's okay to have a lower dose.

But it's not okay to feel envy
As your closest friends pull away;
To miss the memories
When you're distant every day;
To feel your gut wrench
At the thought of what they say.

I know it's not normal,
But I can't stop feeling this way.
