You could hardly contain your excitement as you slipped into your elegant black dress with the golden spider design at the back. It was a gift from one designer that loved your Elle magazine cover as well as how you commanded the stage at some European fashion week. You and Jungkook were so aware of each other, and you couldn't believe that the system actually paired you together.

You first thought that the affection you had as teens was puppy love, and the fact that you were so comfortable with each other and you were so intense emotionally that even your parents thought that the aura around you must be something more underlying than puppy love.

Now, it was proven. Nobody can take that away from you. You were his, and he was yours, and after the official bonding and settling of the soulmark, the world would know.

You looked with a deep smile at your reflection in the mirror. Your dress was clinging to you like a second skin. It was. Tight but flows at the knees. It was a shimmering satin black that hugged your small curves just to give the right amount of sexiness. Your honey-toned skin glowed under the soft fabric.

You knew Kookie's eyes would bulge out and his breath would hitch. He used one of the other cabin rooms to dress. He looked so handsome and sexy in his black silk shirt tucked into his charcoal tailored pants. His sleeves were casually rolled up and his collar slightly open. He was so manly even as the maknae of Bangtan.

The chef staff was busy in the small kitchen while you were getting ready for your first date on the yacht. You both decided not to touch each other right now to activate the bond, but you'll do it later when the staff has done their part and left for the shore.

You were both giddy, and anticipation was palpable in the atmosphere when Jungkook pulled the beautiful leather deck chair for you to sit on. You were outside on the deck. The black glass table gleamed with a beautiful floral arrangement. The yacht was docked not far from the Busan coast but still far enough for privacy.

The afternoon sun was shining on the calm surface of the blue ocean. The chef staff have outdone themselves, as you notice the spread of the buffet on the bar. They had truly outdone themselves, with grilled eel that was drizzled in sesame glaze, fresh roast veggies, spicy tteokbokki, fried chicken drumsticks in a new soya sauce, and buttery galbi ribs that made your mouth water.

Everything was arranged on gleaming golden-black porcelain crockery. Yoongi and his soulmate Jiho had brought new updated decor to their yacht space. Even the gold cutlery matched perfectly, looking like a dream.

Jungkook grinned as he opened the chilled bottle of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rose champagne and gently poured it in long, crystal flutes.

The fizz looked like pink stardust in the glasses. Jungkook had arranged soft classical music as background as they clicked their glasses with deep smirks.

They enjoyed their food quietly.

Jungkook chuckled, his eyes glowing. "Zendaya Rhimes, you are the most beautiful girl I've ever laid my eyes on. You were beautiful as a fourteen-year-old, and as a 21-year-old, you evolved into a goddess. I'm so delighted that you are mine."

You blushed bright red. "You still look soo fly, Kookie.  I'm totally stoked that you're my soulmate! It's like totally a dream. I never saw it coming that we'd end up together. "

Jungkook smiled softly, and tenderness flowed through his eyes. "I became suspicious after we talked on the phone. The moment when I hung up, I found my neck in excruciating pain. Cold, frostbite-like pain. The first time I just dismissed it, but then it happened every time we talked, and then it happened unexpectedly when Jimin and I went to the mall. I saw a Vogue cover of yours, and the pain of experience was never like before. That is when I knew it was old puppy love affection I had for your Zen. I knew I truly loved you."

You looked at him with teary eyes."  I was bummed out,  feeling that  soulmark sting,  thinking my soulmate  might be someone else. But I was super worried that my love for you wouldn't  fade  away.  It didn't help that  Jimmy was always pulling you into our conversations. Your name stirred emotions I didn't want to visit...do you think the system knew that we would meet at the workshop so early in life?"

Jungkook nodded. "Yes, remember how shy we were when we were introduced. But we couldn't stop checking each other out during our dance workshop. I wanted to know the cute actress girl with the unruly curly hair. I was whipped for you, and you were already "

You laughed," We were hella sneaky in our  dating game until the paparazzi snagged us."

"Bang PD sent me back to come and prepare our official debut with Bangtan." Jungkook grinned. "But last year everything shifted when we were kissing in your penthouse, and that night under the stars I knew I loved you, but we promised not to bring it up ever."

You nodded, thinking back at that night you and Jungkook lost your innocence," Me too, something shifted. I just couldn't forget you, Kookie."

Jungkook sighed as he ate the last piece of his eel". Even when I started dating Lisa secretly...it wasn't the same again. I liked her, but I was in love with you. She was like a placeholder for me. I knew something was different when I started dreaming more about you, and I needed us to meet to get closure. I'm just glad Fate sent you back to Korea."

You looked down, your voice trembling a little. "I get a vibe of suspicion when I check out your content stuff I’d get this icy jab on my soulmark chilling on my neck. Man, seeing you with Lisa hit me hard, but then Jimmy got tangled up in that whole pregnancy mess too. I was
totally over dating, but I’m down to stick with him until
 I find my soulmate. I was super stressed when you got
 banged up in London. I couldn't catch any sleep. I was so worried."

He looked at you with deep love after you enjoyed your sorbet and chocolate dessert," Zen...we waited long enough. Let's activate the bond and enjoy our honeymoon as early as possible."

You looked scared." Do you think we will handle the pain? I'm scared, Kookie." You murmur as you stand up after her help pulling out your chair.

Jungkook smiles softly, "We will do it together, okay? I can't wait to call you truly mine. Zen."

You smile as he gestures for you to follow him down the hallway towards the master bedroom cabins. The bedroom was so dreamy when you came back again. It was luxurious, with plush and silky champagne-toned lines and throw pillows. The bed was styled as if it were floating, with soft under-bed lighting adding that glowing effect.

A cozy sitting nook perfect for reading and watching the waves. Modern vanity with a beautiful lamp. The bedroom was so relaxing. The blinds were still open showcasing the sparkling ocean.

Jungkook turned and looked at her. "Darling, are you ready to activate the mark and the bond, which will be more horrendous than the activation?. My hyungs told me to just relax and let the sensation sweep through you. They also advise me to have as much contact together as possible during the process."

Your eyes widen. "I was always scared of pain; will you hold me very, very tight? Oh my gosh, I'm going to die."

Jungkook started to chuckle at your apprehensive eyes. He knows you; when you struck your toe during a dance workshop, you screamed so hard that the other dancers thought you broke your leg in ten places.

Jungkook smirks, "Don't worry, baby, we'll pass it. After that you'll love being in my arms."

You just roll your eyes and giggle, "Okay...let's get it over with."

Jungkook stretched out his hands.,"Come hold on to me..." You move slowly towards him.

With deep concern, you stretched out your hands, so let your fingers touch it. Immediately with the slightest touch of your skin, agony flared up through your arms. It was like a red-hot iron sweeping through your veins, but not the fire; it was the iciness, as if you were experiencing frostbite at its worst level. You started crying out as Jungkook quickly pulled you into his arms as your head leaned onto his chest. Your bodies were trembling as you heard Jungkooks' ragged breath.

"It's okay, sweetheart," he whispered through gritted teeth. "Zen, look at me..."

Your eyes locked into his, pain clearly in your eyes.

As you lifted up your face to his intense expression, his hands found their way into your beautiful chignon bun, and he leaned down kissing you. Through the waves of excruciating pain, you held on to his shoulder like a lifeline. As you desperately kissed, in raw passion, tears slipped from your cheeks. But with every second, the pain started to ease. It took a whole 5 minutes to activate the soulmate. Your bodies started to relax against each other.

Jungkook wiped the tears from your cheek as he looked with deep affection at you". Let's document the strings; our agencies will need it."

You inhaled deeply as you nodded. You both stepped in front of the huge mirror as Jungkook took his phone as you both tilted your necks to touch. Your soulmarks are on different sides, but when you touch, they merge together. When your necks touched, the atmosphere drastically charged. The system and your bodies were working in sync.

The dazzling neon-blue glow highlighted the soul mark beneath both your hidden invirso bindings as you began to join in front of your eyes. You stare at him in astonishment. As you saw the dazzling light, the invirso binding started to melt in front of your eyes like a second skin, releasing bright swirls of deep reddish gold from both your neck areas...it appears as fine glitter swirls around your soul marks. You've been connected by fate. You've both been given red gold.

You notice Jungkook's stunned expression as he begins to chuckle, "Whoa... it's so incredible! We're red gold."

Your eyes widen in stunned silence, "We're so blessed, Kookie."

Jungkook smiled as you both admired your soulmarks. You both had been blessed with lotus flowers. Jungkook' lotus was bigger, and yours was smaller with longer roses and thorny stems.

Jungkook smirked as the interpretation dropped into his soul, "Zen, our marks are so remarkable. It means resilience and overcoming struggles together. Even if our love seemed impossible, like the lotus surrounded by muddy water, like past relationships, it still blossoms into something pure and beautiful. We are rising above circumstances, past hardships, and disappointment, and we are ready to grow stronger together as a team. Our stems unify each other, and nothing can harm us as a couple because our love will grow, and the two of us will become better versions of ourselves."

"It's beautiful." You murmured in awe.

In your eyes, which had begun to well up again with tears, but this time it was with happiness, Jungkook smiled with deep gratitude. With your soulmate, you obtained the most coveted string. He will only be able to love you alone, and you will only be able to love him alone. Your eyes widen when you observe him because he recognizes your soulmark. Beautiful lotus flower with thorny rose stems.

You received the most in-demand string...the deadliest of all strings... The passionate string ... the system marriage. Jungkook just became your official husband. And you're his wife. You are bonded for life.

After Jungkook captured the entire process, the radiance began to fade. Your soul marks emerged afresh, but this time they were dark purple instead of light purple. It is done.

The red-gold string and Fate's seduction began to dig further into your emotional bond. You couldn't take your eyes away from each other, but you stared intently at each other. Your feelings become deep affection, and any passionate love you had felt for someone else fades away.

No more clingy Lisa or Jimmy. Any trace of romantic affection faded away. It was only the two of you now, united as one. There is nothing else that matters. Your strings form a deadly bond between you that can never be severed. 

Jungkook grinned as he gave you a deep kiss. "You're my wife, Zen. And no one can take you away from me now. Jimmy had to let you free. You're mine." His eyes were glowing as you giggled.

"You're mine too, Jungkook. Lisa has now learned to accept there's no more going back to her," you smile.

"Baby, the activation is done, but now it's the settling of the soulmarks as one. It will be very painful, but we will be able to handle it. Are you ready? It's going to start now." He looked at your frightened eyes.

"I'm freakig scared, Kookie; if it's worse than activation, I'm gonna lose it". You lock eyes with your sweetheart, who is beaming.

Jungkook smiled softly. "Darling, I'm here. During the process, I'm going to hold you very tight. Please hold on; don't let go of me, okay? Don't let go, please."

Jungkook led you to the bed. You both climbed on top of the soft covers.

As he spreads his arms, you are pulled gently into his warm embrace, anticipating the inevitable. As his nose got embedded in your hair and your face was on his chest, Jungkook closed his eyes tightly as your arms snaked around his waist, holding on to you.

As you closely gripped each other, the scorching sensation slowly ignited within your body. You both firmly closed your eyes and increased your grip on each other. Tears streamed freely as you started to sob, and Jungkook caressed your body fiercely in an attempt to relieve the pain.

Your thin body was shivering. As the roaring heat within you became too severe, he held you tighter in his arms, kissing your face. Even though the anguish was unbearable, your love for one another rendered it ineffective.

The agony was intense as you leaned against each other, gasping for air. The excruciating agony gradually faded. You were both exhausted, just simply lying in each other's arms on the bed. Faces filled with perspiration.

Your joints were stiff and sore, but pure happiness enveloped you. Your awareness became sharper for each other. Your smell and scent were embedded in each other's memory. Your hearts were one.

You both looked at each other as your bodies filled with warmth. Jungkook's eyes stared into yours with a deep intensity and desire. His hands were caressing your hips, and you felt the heat through the soft fabric of your dress.

"Zen, are you ready to be mine? To officially settle our system marriage bond."

Your eyes locked in his, as you shyly nodded; trust was evident.

With gentle precision, Jungkook unfastened the button of your dress behind your neck. Your body started to react as you both smiled into each other's eyes as your slightly trembling fingers unbuttoned the small buttons on his black silk shirt...not out of fear, but out of the overwhelming love and tenderness you both experienced. This was different from the night under the stars. This was deeper because you belong to each other.

Your skin was both exposed as you started to slowly kiss each other, your hand caressing his bare chest with loving, featherlight touches. You could feel his heartbeat.

"You're so hot, Kookie," you whispered.

Jungkook's breath hitched because in that moment, everything about you intensified: the way you looked at him, touched him, saw him...you were one.

Jungkook's big doe eyes tell it all,how much he loves you...and with one movement of his strong arms, you were snugly pinned underneath his hot body as your bodies started to respond to each other.

Your arms wrapped around his neck as you start kissing each other without inhibitions. It wasn't wild or rushed but slow and gentle as if you were starting to get to know each other for the first time. You needed each other like oxygen.

"I waited for you for a lifetime, Zen, and I'm never going to let you slip from me ever again," he whispered against your lips.

"I don't want you to...just show me some love tonight," You whispered softly as your hands caressed circles on his muscled back.

Just like that...that moment they made up for all the time they've lost. Right now their bond, their breath, and their love were sealed in red gold.

All they could hear was the sound of the seagulls flying around their yacht that was nestled on the still and calm ocean.
