BACKSTORY- kalis father was never in the picture but her mother abandoned her as a baby after shooting her up with an excessive amount of compound v in attempt to give her enhanced powers or kill her, after no results were shown she left her on her sisters doorstep, forcing her and her husband to raise and adopt her. they made sure she was the best academically and at using her powers. as a highschooler she had a random encounter with a famous supe that mistakened her as a villain and almost killed her until her aunt stepped in and they found out the truth. her aunt was left paralyzed from her waist down. kali blamed herself so much and knew she had to repay her somehow, so she talked to her uncle, an ex vought scientist, and they made vials of compound v to sell.
