HUMAN EDWARD CULLEN
━━ Edward Anthony Masen Jr. is an only child. It's evident in how he acts that he's an only child. Edward is inconsiderate of his 'adopted' siblings in both books and the movies; he has moments of kindness, but his lousy attitude overshadows it. He acts as if he's the only child of Carlisle and Esme because he believes Alice and Jasper aren't as pure as them. After all, they didn't get turned by Carlisle's venom, LOL.
━━ Mommy's boy. His mother begged Carlisle to help or change him, but Mom knows what's up with the mysterious Dr. Cullen.
His father was a lawyer, and his mother was a refined socialite who raised him with perfect manners.
━━ Child musical prodigy. He plays the piano, violin, cello, saxophone, harp, and every musical instrument he knows how to play. He even composed songs in secret.
━━ I believe that he tutored kids or did some free lessons on playing musical instruments. He just gives that kind of vibe.
━━ A conservative catholic (probably Mormon because the author is one), I MEAN, it's not bad to be a conservative catholic, y'know? It's just that he's the kind of guy to push his beliefs onto others and dismiss everyone's opinion.
━━ Waits until marriage. Does the whole courting thing. The 1920's rules of dating kinda guy.
━━ I think he's the kind of guy who writes love letters and poems.
━━ Observative. Overthinker. That's why he became a mind reader when he became a vampire.
━━ He speaks like he's in a novel. He uses words like dapper and darling and courting completely unironically.
━━ He carries a pocket watch cause he thinks he looks cool, sophisticated, and mature for his age.
━━ Lowkey, obsessed with Shakespeare, can quote entire monologues at will.
━━ He gives his coat to a girl even if she isn't cold, just to be gallant.
━━ He carries a leather-bound journal everywhere, filled with half-written poetry, sketches of people he loves, and thoughts he'll never say aloud.
━━ I believe that he wanted to join the army because every guy his age is doing it, and it was an honorable thing to do at the time, but his mother was against it; his father was proud of him, but he never pushed through with it because he caught influenza and got turned into a vampire.
━━ His sport is equestrian, IDK WHY I THOUGHT OF THAT, but his family is wealthy, and equestrian is a rich people's sport.
━━ He's always been arrogant, but he keeps it down low. Has a high ego because he's considered the most wanted bachelor in his city or social circle of wealthy people.
━━ He was planning to study law because his father is a lawyer with a big name in the world of law. But he really wants to study Classics.
VAMPIRE EDWARD CULLEN
━━ Overall, I think he was optimistic and excited when he turned into a vampire because he could do everything he wanted with infinite possibilities. He can study whatever he wants, read every book, and travel, but it lost its spark over the years, like he got tired of it, of immortality, then he started to brood and be grumpy, lost his will to live. So then he decided to rebel against Carlisle and Esme and drink human blood just to feel something, the rush that he felt when he was turned, but he didn't feel it, so he only felt awful and returned.
━━ He's a neat freak. Just gives that kind of vibe.
━━ Will disappear for days just to think. He doesn't tell anyone where he's going-just walks through the woods aimlessly.
━━ Broods in the forest for hours. Probably has a designated "brooding rock."
━━ He likes Tanya as a friend but is not interested in her romantically; he knows that Tanya likes him cause she can read her mind; it's just that he's not that into her. (Probably because Tanya's personality is too dominating, I personally think that's it, he just couldn't handle a bad bitch)
━━ He thinks texting is impersonal. Would much instead write actual letters. (Yes, he has perfect cursive handwriting.)
━━ The only man who could make stalking seem weirdly romantic. (I still think it's weird, but everyone says it's romantic)
━━ Your local "I'm dangerous, but I'll die for you" tragic hero.
━━ Sometimes, he wishes he couldn't read minds. Hearing every passing judgment people have about him? Torture.
━━ Keeps all of his old journals hidden away. They go back decades, filled with poetry, sketches, and letters he never sent.
━━ Listens to vinyl records instead of streaming music. He thinks Spotify is an abomination and continues to flex his records, which date back to the 20s.
━━ Still writes in cursive. And he has impeccable penmanship.
━━ Lastly, a hopeless romantic.
