MARIANA ABRAMS WAS THE DEFINITION OF A SURVIVOR. After surviving the vicious Woodsboro attacks of 2011 at the hands of Jill Roberts, her mother's best friend's cousin. The girl survived 7 stab wounds after being pronounced dead for four minutes.

Her mother Margarita, who was also a survivor of the Ghostface attacks decided to move her and her daughter to her hometown New York in order for a fresh start.

She allowed the girl to move back to Woodsboro during her 7th-grade year under the temporary supervision of her godfather Dewey Riley after she begged to be back home with her friends throughout high school

Now Mariana is back in Woodsboro, but unfortunately, the danger is back too. With a new Ghostface around terrorizing her and her friends and threatening her with a secret, she's tried so hard to keep to herself.

Mariana is forced to face the truth about herself in order to protect herself and those closest to her while facing different emotions of fear, grief, hatred, and love.
