AILEEN WAS SITTING At the dining table of Sam, Quinn, and Tara's apartment while Anastasia and the others were helping Sam, Tara, and Chad cook dinner. Anika and Lila were watching TV. Ethan and Jason were the only ones not present, they had Econ.

"I think you should get out of the city, you know considering what happened to you last time. I wouldn't blame you, if you wanted to go." Aileen heard Tara say which peeked her interest.

Mindy made throwing up motions with her hands. Anastasia giggled.

"That's very thoughtful of you, but um, I don't think I'm going anywhere." Chad said, looking over to Tara.

Anastasia turned around, placing her hands behind her back, pretending to make out with someone.

Mindy gagged louder and asked "Will you two just make out already?"

"Mindy, Anya, that is so inappropriate." Chad said, stirring the pot.

"Oh, whatever." Mindy said going to the kitchen.

Vince, Aileen, Richie, Aaron, Scarlet, Lauren, Arianna, and Anastasia joined Tara, Chad, and Mindy in the kitchen.

"Sam?" Mindy asked.

"Yup?" She answered.

"We do not have to stay here." Mindy told her.

"Well, too bad, I insist. Safety in numbers." Sam said, placing down a wine bottle.

Lila joined everyone in the kitchen.

"This will be so fun, a little slumber party with The Avengers." Chad said, smiling.

"The Avengers?" Sam and Lila asked.

"Yeah." Chad said, smiling.

"Did you just give us a nickname?" Tara asked, offended.

"I sure did! I mean we've been through a lot together and it's a pretty cool nickname." Chad said.

Anastasia rubbed her temples "Oh, boy.."

Scarlet sighed, shaking her head "Chad, you're gonna get sued."

Chad stuck out his tongue at her. Vince glared at Chad which made Aileen get into a fit of giggles.

"That's debatable." Sam and Arianna spoke in unison, looking at each other then Chad.

"It's extremely debatable." Lila, Richie, Lauren, and Tara added.

"You can't just give yourself a nickname, dingus." Mindy rolled her eyes at her twin.

"Oh, of course I can, dingus. Because I just did. The Avengers up top!" Chad exclaimed, holding his right hand for his twin sister.

"No." Mindy said.

"Come on, I know you want to." Chad said moving to Lila.

Lila rolled her eyes "Fuck off."

Chad pouted at Scarlet, Lauren, Aaron, Aileen, Richie, and Arianna. The six of them didn't move. Chad moved onto Vince. Uh oh.

"Douche nozzle?" Chad tilted his head, waving his hand in Vince's face.

Vince rolled his eyes, sighing "Please get your hand away from my face, pretty boy."

Aileen and Scarlet tried not to laugh. Arianna pinched the bridge of her nose, shaking her head.

Chad moved to Anastasia "Please, bestie!"

Anastasia sighed and high fived him, kissing his cheek.

"And this is why, Anastasia's my best friend." Chad said, wrapping his arm around Anastasia.

Anastasia sighed, looking up at Chad "Yeah, let's go with that."

Everyone laughed at that.

"Guys! What the hell?" Anika asked, putting down her book to grab the TV remote.

Everyone went to the living room. Anika turned up the volume on the TV.

"We're hearing from sources inside the Homicide Division that the prime suspects are none other than Samantha Carpenter, Vincent Schneider, Arianna Macher, Aileen Roberts, Richard Kirsch, Scarlet Kincaid, and Lila Freeman. Seven of the survivors of the Woodsboro killings in 2022. Lila Freeman, being the younger twin sister of Amber Freeman. Sam and Scar were seen here attacking a woman on the street last night." The news reporter said.

The clip was shown of the fight with Sam and Scarlet with the girls from last night. Anastasia sighed and shook her head.

Lila rolled her eyes and said "I didn't fucking kill people, asshole. I was stuck in the hospital."

"In the wake of the Woodsboro tragedy last year, rumors sprouted online that Carpenter, Kincaid, Kirsch, Macher, Schneider, and Roberts were actually responsible for the killings, using Lila Freeman and 1996 Woodsboro survivor, Sidney Prescott's daughter, Anastasia Kincaid, blaming the crime on Sam's boyfriend Dylan Kirsch and teens Liv McKenzie and Amber Freeman..." The news reporter kept going.

Sam walked over to the coffee table, grabbed the TV remote then turned off the TV.

"All because of who my uncle and cousin were." Anastasia said, tearing up.

Mindy and Tara held onto Anastasia. Scarlet petted Anastasia's head then held onto Lauren.

Vince clenched his fist staring at the black screen "This is never fucking ending..."

"I have someone who can confirm I was in the hospital." Lila glared at the TV.

Sam walked out of the living room to the dining room. Tara followed her older sister.

Aileen, Richie, Aaron, Scarlet, Vince, Lauren, Arianna, Anastasia, Chad, Mindy, and Lila followed soon after.

"I know you're not a fan of the way I've been handling things and that I've been giving you a really hard time. But I can say that none of us, except AJ, Richie, Ari, Scar, and maybe Vince, can relate to what you are experiencing. And I'm really, really sorry that you all have to do that alone." Tara apologized to Sam which made Arianna, Vince, Aileen, Scarlet, and Richie share sad looks.

Aaron walked over and sat next to Sam, rubbing her back "She's not alone."

Sam rested her head on Aaron's shoulder, sniffling "It's not your fault, Tara. And I know I shouldn't care what people think. It just sucks being this hated."

Aaron rubbed his hand up and down Sam's arm, planting a kiss on her head, comfortingly. Scarlet walked over to Sam, kissing her cheek. The others joined Tara, Aaron, and Sam at the table.

"Hey, hey. Just a reminder, not a single person in this room hates you. Okay, we have been through some fucked up stuff and we are coping with it differently, but I mean we moved here together for one very specific reason, we're a team." Chad said, sitting at the table.

"We are the fucking Avengers." Mindy spoke up, smirking.

"Thank you very much!" Chad exclaimed, excitedly.

"I hate myself." Mindy said, before the twins high fived.

"Oh, you seriously said it." Tara said, placing her hand over her mouth.

"Say it." Mindy encouraged.

"No, we're not gonna say it." Lila and Lauren spoke up.

"I mean yes, we're a team, but we're not going to say it." Tara agreed.

Anastasia sighed "Ethan and I are thinking of going all the way tonight."

Chad and Lila squealed. Scarlet raised a brow at her younger sister,.

"He better not get you pregnant though! I'm not ready to be an aunt." Tara said, laughing.

"I've been sleeping with cute boy from across the hall." Arianna admitted, looking around at everyone.

Everyone went silent. Scarlet, Richie, and Aileen high fived each other.

"Boom!" Mindy and Sam exclaimed.

"I knew it!" Anastasia, Lauren, Tara, and Lila exclaimed.

"Hey!" Chad smiled.

"I called it!" Mindy exclaimed.

"I feel like we should high five or something." Tara and Lauren said.

"The Avengers high five." Chad encouraged.

"Don't call it that, but we'll do it." Tara said, lacing her fingers with Chad.

Mindy, Sam, Scarlet, Aaron, Arianna, Aileen, Vince, Richie, Lauren, Anastasia, and Lila joined soon after.

AFTER EVERYONE CALMED DOWN Arianna's phone rang. Ariana brought it out of her pocket. Lauren grabbed her phone and presented it to everyone.

"Lauren, no. Not right now." Arianna groaned, trying to grab her phone from her cousin.

"What are your intentions?" Lauren joked, the phone was still ringing.

Scarlet took the phone "Hey, Danny are you gonna knock up Arianna?"

Arianna rolled her eyes, sighing "Scarbear, that's not funny!"

Vince laughed, looking between the two "It kinda is!"

Scarlet and Vince, high fived laughing their asses off.

"Shut up, Vince!" Arianna glared at him.

Scarlet handed Arianna her phone back, still giggling.

"It's fine. I'll call him back." Arianna spoke, hanging up the phone.

Quinn's moans could be heard. Richie covered his ears, groaning

"Oh my God, Quinn and her gentleman caller are back at it again." Tara and Lauren said in unison.

"Getting it, too!" Mindy giggled.

As they were all laughing the air drop notification can be heard. Everyone opened the messages. Quinn was being attacked by Ghostface. Everyone went to Quinn's door. It went silent.

"Run." Mindy quivered.
