( He is in anger and the grabs the table slams it on the table. He breaks down the mirror. He blasts a ball of magic. His room is a pure mess and he is bleeding. He sits on the floor. ) 

All of them were horrified by the scene. 

( Camera is focused on Rosaline whose condition is same. Her room is a pure mess. Everything is broken. Both of them scream at the same time releasing their magic. ) 

Most of them were crying by now. 

( Alec is releasing arrows. ) 

Jace: Alec. ( He points the arrow at Jace. ) 

Alec: Move. 

Jace: How long have you been up here? 

Alec: I'm glamoured. No one can see me. Move.

Jace: You can't beat yourself up. 

Alec: I'm not. 

Jace: Who are you talking to? It's me. I'm your parabatai. I know exactly what you're going through. What happened with Jocelyn, that wasn't you. That was the demon. 

Alec: Get out of the way. 

Jace: Hey. Same side, remember? Come on, man. Come back inside. 

Alec: That's the last place I want to be. 

Jace: Alec, Valentine has the Soul-Sword. He slaughtered the Silent Brothers. We need our best soldiers... 

Alec: Stop pretending this never happened. I couldn't save you from Valentine. I couldn't save you from the City of Bones. I... She's Clary and Rose's mother. Your mother. (STAMMERS) My elder brother loves her more than mom. 

Jace: Nobody blames you. 

Alec: They should. ( He says and jumps from there and leaves. ) 

ELENA: You needed time. 

Rosaline opens her eyes and flashes her alpha eyes. She swings her katanas and fearless rune is showed. Theodore's magical bow appears and he stretches its string forming the strength rune. Clary is seen blowing the candles on her birthday cake forming the angelic rune. Jace is seen jumping from a building with eagles surrounding him. He jumps on the ground splashing the water which forms heightened speed rune. Alec is seen a room with healing rune drawn on one of the walls. He aims his arrow. Isabelle is now shown swinging her blade forming the parabatai rune. Simon is seen wiping the blood on his lips in hotel de mort. The whole background turns black and white. Luke is seen with a wall behind him covered with runes and wolves. Magnus is drinking his cocktail. Scene splits and shows Theo and Rose using their magic and flashing their alpha eyes. Then all the runes are shown burning and Rosaline, Theo, Clary, Jace, Alec and Isabelle are shown walking and the title Shadowhunter appears with The Mortal Instruments written below. And the screen turns black.

Scene Changes. 

(SIMON SPEAKING HEBREW) Simon: Amen. 

Clary: I don't know what to say. 

Simon: My Hebrew that bad? 

Clary: I just wish I could get ahold of Luke. Whenever he goes out of town, he always tells me. I'm worried. 

Simon: Clary, your mom meant everything to him. He probably just needs time to process. 

Luke was feeling guilty for not being there for them. 

Clary: When you died, I was... Wrecked. Devastated. 

Simon: You were? 

Clary: Of course. Simon, I... I couldn't think of life without you. But I got you back. Simon. You were dead, but then you came back. 

Simon: Well, yeah, but... 

Clary: What if we could get my mom back? Rose got Theo back when he died, she can get mom back, right? 

Simon: Clary, I... 

Clary: Okay, but in this insane world we suddenly live in, things that I never thought could happen do happen, so maybe there is a way. Maybe... Maybe we can get her back. 

Simon: Clary, I... I know how much you loved her. But sometimes there are things you just... You have to accept. 

Clary: No. I am not ready to accept this. 

CAROLINE: You were in denial. ( She felt bad from them as she understands that pain. )

Scene Changes. 

( Clary and Simon come to Rose's room. ) ( They knock on the door but when she doesn't replies they open it. ) 

Clary: Rose? Rose. ( They see her messed up room with everything broken and blood was also there. )

Simon: Looks like she is more devastated than you. 

Clary: Oh my god. Where is she? 

Scene Changes. 

( Rose and Theo are shown together. They are in a room which is completely white. There are no windows or doors. ) 

ACHATIUS: Venting out their anger. 

( They take out their weapons and charge towards each other. ) ( Theo was the first one to attack. He throws an overhand cut but Rose dodges it. She throws a blow but Theo blocks it. Theo throws a cut and she parries it. They started moving back and forth. Theo was the one who was continuously but Rose was parrying it easily. They were panting. They flashed their alpha eyes and every rune on their body started glowing and they started fighting each other in a lightening speed. ) ( They stopped and Theo got distracted for a split second and Rose kicked on his lower leg and he lost his balance and fell on the ground and Rose's sword was on Theo's neck. ) 

Rose: Another round. 

Theo: Why not? 

BONNIE: You did that all night? 

ROSE: Yes. 

Scene Changes. 

Simon: We don't know that Clary, maybe, we should give her time. 

Clary: You are right but there is someone else who can help us. 

Scene Changes. 

( Simon and Clary come to Magnus' for help. )

Magnus: Absolutely not. 

Clary: Is it possible? Magnus, tell me, can it be done? Yes or no? 

Magnus: Look, Clary Rose can't do this because she resurrected Theo because of their parabatai bond. (SIGHS) But there are warlocks who've done this sort of thing. But what you're talking about is dark, dark magic. It's wildly unpredictable. 

Clary: Have you ever done it before? 

Magnus: No. And don't encourage this. Biscuit, I'm sorry. I know how important she was to you. 

Clary: She was my mom. If you were me, if we were talking about your mom... 

Magnus: I wouldn't bring her back. 

Magnus sighed. 

Clary: I don't understand. 

Magnus: (SIGHS) I was nine years old when my mother realized what my cat eyes meant. She couldn't live with the fact that she bore the son of a demon. So she took her life. With this very keris. 

STEFAN: You didn't deserve this. 

Clary: I'm so sorry. I didn't know. 

Magnus: It was a long time ago. And over time, it... It got easier. Never easy, but easier. Your mother was a special woman. She only wanted to protect you at all costs. So much so that she had me remove your memories. Since we can't get those back... ( He shows her a photo. ) Take one of mine. 

Clary: Oh, my God. When was this? 

Magnus: The day I met you. The first thing I notice is that you, Rose and Jocelyn share the same laugh. (CHUCKLES) Losing your mom, it's not something you make better with magic. You just head straight into it and cry your eyes out. 

( They leave from there. ) (DOOR CLOSES) 

Simon: Hey, you okay? How about we get something to eat? Korean barbecue? That... That weird rice pudding place? Anything you want. 

Clary: Sleep, I think. 

Simon: Sure. I'll walk you to the Institute. 

Clary: Simon. You should go home. 

Simon: What? No, no. I'm... I'm not gonna leave you until I know you're okay. 

Clary: What does "okay" even mean? Simon, go home. See your mom. Tell her you love her. (DOOR CLOSES) 

Scene Changes. 

( The Institute is shown. )

Aldertree: During the attack on the City of Bones, Jace Wayland fought bravely, and thus the Clave, in their wisdom, has exonerated him from all crimes. And the chief physician in Idris reports that Lydia Branwell's condition continues to improve. 

Jace: Out of the infirmary in record time. You're looking good. 

Isabelle: I always look good. Why isn't Alec here? 

Jace: He needs some space. 

Isabelle: I am just worried. You should have seen Theo's and Rose's room. Everything was broken and messed up. 

Aldertree: We face a new threat. Valentine has the Mortal Cup, and now possesses the Soul-Sword, two of the three Mortal Instruments. Our mission now is to find out what he plans to do with them... 

Isabelle: You okay? 

Aldertree: ...and when. 

Jace: I'm fine. But apparently no one else is, judging by the way they're all looking at me. 

DAMON: The judgy eyes I get it. ( He said looking towards Bonnie. )

Isabelle: Jace, I'm sorry for letting them take you to the City of Bones. I thought... 

Jace: It's all good, Izzy. You saved Theo's life and mine. I would've done the same thing. 

Aldertree: Tomorrow night's rite of passage will bring the total number of dead to 26 fallen Silent Brothers and three Shadowhunters. Take this time to grieve and plan for what lies ahead. Your orders will follow. 

( Isabelle Touches her shoulder. ) (GROANS SOFTLY) 

Jace: Your shoulder still hurts, huh? 

Isabelle: A little stiff. Uh, don't worry about me. Keep an eye on Clary. And tell me when Rose and Theo return. 

( Clary is shown talking to her mother's dead body. )

Clary: I should have just said I'd go to Idris with you. Maybe I could have convinced Rose also. We could've left right then. ( Jace comes there. ) 

Jace: Hey. You okay? 

Clary: (SIGHS) I'd be a lot better if people quit speaking in quiet voices and telling me it's okay to grieve. 

Jace: Fair enough. 

Clary: I don't know why. I just don't feel much of anything right now. (CHUCKLES) Emotions cloud judgment, right? 

Jace: Clary, I spent my whole life fighting my emotions. Look where it landed me. 

Clary: You just lost your mom, too. What do you feel? 

Jace: I don't know. I thought I'd be able to get to know her. And she'd get more time to know me as more than just an experiment gone wrong. I... (SIGHS) I just figured we'd get more time. 

( Clary comes in the Ops Centre. )

(INDISTINCT CHATTER) ( She searches for Warlock's case files. And finds Iris Rouse. ) (BEEPING) 

ELENA: You wanted to resurrect her. 

( She goes to her house. ) ( She knocks at the door and Iris opens it. ) (CHUCKLES) 

Iris: Look at this. A Shadowhunter on my doorstep. Oh, let me guess. You're heartbroken and you want some fabulous boy to love you again. 

Clary: Can you raise my mother from the dead? She just died, and she... ( Iris hugs her. ) 

Iris: Oh, God, you poor child. Oh. I am so sorry. For your loss. And also for my big mouth. 

THEO: What a manipulator! 

Clary: I... 

Iris: How recently did she pass? 

Clary: Two days ago. I know this is considered dark magic, but... 

Iris: "Dark magic" is a term used by warlocks who are afraid of their own powers. For someone like me who can harness those powers, all magic is equal.  

Clary: So it's possible? Bringing the dead back to life? 

Iris: Poor thing flew straight into that window this morning. He smacked it so hard, we heard it from upstairs. ( They see a dead crow. ) Must have died instantly. ( She takes one of its feathers. ) (SPEAKING LATIN) ( Madzie was watching this from the window. ) ( The crow becomes alive and flies off. ) (CROW CAWING) So to answer your question... Yes. It is very much possible. 

ACHATIUS: That was just a glamour, she was lying to you. 

( They were inside her house. )

Clary: I have never seen a doctor's office like this. Do you live here, too? 

Iris: Upstairs. On the third floor. The second floor is reserved for my warlock practice. And down here is where I try to prolong the precious lives of the mundanes. Keeps a gal busy. ( They see a child. ) 

Clary: Hey, there. What's your name? 

Iris: This is Madzie. 

Clary: Hi, Madzie. 

Iris: Honey, why don't you go ask Leigh to give you a cookie? You tell her I said it was okay. She's my goddaughter. Smarter than a whip, just doesn't speak much. Anyway, enough about me. Let's talk about you. So, I'll need something of your mother's. A lock of hair, fingernails... 

Clary: Yeah, sure. I can do that. 

Iris: Wonderful. And then, of course, there is the matter of my fee. Now, I know you don't have a lot of money, and, sadly, this is not something that insurance will cover. (CHUCKLES) But I like you. So, I'll tell you what. I'll bring your mother back, and, as payment, you can owe me a favor. 

Clary: Uh, what kind of favor? 

Iris: Oh, who can say? Right now, you need a warlock. And every so often, I need a Shadowhunter. When that time will come, I'm not so sure. But when it does, I'll call on you. How about that? 

JACE: The blood oath. 

Scene Changes. 

Simon: Luke, I know it's probably not a good time, but... You need to get in touch with Clary. We're all kind of freaking out. Clary needs you. Rose needs you. I could use you, too. So, um... I'll talk to you soon, I guess. Bye. (CELL PHONE BEEPS) 

( Simon comes to his house and hugs his mother. )

Elaine: (GASPS) Hi, whoa! (CHUCKLES) Wow. Slow down, monkey. 

Simon: Hey, when you called, I wasn't... I'm sorry I wasn't at dinner last night. I... I wanna move back home, Mom. I'm really bad at laundry. 

Elaine: Oh, thank God you know that about yourself. Honey, this shirt smells like death. 

Simon: I just... I just wanna tell you that, um... I really appreciate you, Mom. (CHUCKLING) 

Simon smiled seeing this. 

Elaine: Okay. Come on. I made a roast. I know it's overkill, but when... 

Simon: Okay, Mom... Mom, listen. I know I'm back, but I... I can't have you freak out if I'm out all night or if I sleep all day. The band does a lot of late-night gigging. 

Elaine: You don't have to explain yourself to me, Simon. I'm just glad you're home. Oh, and you know, I was thinking... We should have Clary and her mother over for dinner. I haven't seen Jocelyn in ages. 

Simon: Yeah. Um... I'll ask Clary. 

Elaine: Great. 

Scene Changes. 

( Jace comes in Aldertree's office. )

Jace: You wanted to see me? 

Aldertree: Please. Have a seat. You and I haven't had a chance to talk about what happened at the City of Bones. 

Jace: Just doing what I was trained to do. That's how it may appear to the Clave, but what I saw was an unprepared soldier allowing a deranged criminal to make off with one of the Mortal Instruments. 

REBEKAH: Is he out of his mind, Jace saved him? 

Jace: Wait, wait. I... I saved you. Would you prefer that I let you die? 

Aldertree: That's precisely what you should have done. I'd gladly have given my life to protect the Sword, just like the Silent Brothers did. Now, countless more soldiers will die trying to reclaim it. And their blood will be on your hands. 

Jace: I'll do whatever I can to get it back. 

Aldertree: I'm afraid your words are too late. I'm sending a team to the Adamant Citadel to see what the Iron Sisters know about the Sword. 

Jace: Great. I'll run point, draw up a mission. 

Aldertree: A soldier without discipline is poison to his entire squad. You're hereby banned from field duty. 

KOL: Great. 

Scene Changes. 

Magnus: You okay? 

Alec: I can't be in that Institute. 

Magnus: Oh, Alec... 

Alec: Heard you turned in Camille. How'd that go? 

Magnus: Honestly? It was awful. We had a lot of history, she and I. I'm sorry if that's weird. 

Alec: It's not weird. You say what you think. 

Magnus: Too busy to use the healing rune? 

Alec: I'm fine. 

Magnus: No, you're not. You're hurting. Badly. You hope the pain here will overpower the pain there. 

Alec: I wish it were that simple. I let a demon in, Magnus. 

Magnus: That wasn't your fault. 

Alec: I don't know what to say to Clary, to Rose or my brother. I can't face them. 

Magnus: But you will. Because that's what you do, Alexander. It may take you a minute, but I've seen it up close. I went to your wedding. You'll blow up the very ground you stand on to make something right. 

FREYA: He is right. 

Scene Changes. 

( Clary was taking Jocelyn's strand of hair but Jace catches her. )

Jace: What are you doing? 

Clary: Nothing. 

Jace: Hey. What is that for? 

Clary: (SIGHS) I went to see a warlock in Park Slope. Her name's Iris Rouse and she... 

Jace: Please, please tell me you're not thinking about doing what I think... I can bring my mom back, Jace. Our mom. 

Jace: You can't, Clary. 

Clary: She wasn't supposed to die, Jace. (STAMMERS) It was a mistake. A freak demon attack. I... I want more time with her. 

Jace: So do I. But you never know what you're gonna get back. There are always risks. You could very well conjure a demon in Jocelyn's form. 

Clary: You said "could." She could also come back the same, right? 

Jace: Look, I know you want her back. But you have to trust me, Clary. You don't bring people back from the dead. ( Theo and Rose listen this and immediately come there. ) 

Rose: Are you out of your mind Clary? You want to resurrect her. 

Clary: Rose... Theo... we can have her back. We can spend more time with her...

Theo: Clary, we know how much you love her even we love her the same but bringing her back is not an option. If resurrection was so easy, you have no idea Clary how many people I want desperately in my life back. 

Clary: Rose, you also brought Theo back.

Simon: What, we don't hug anymore? We used to hug all the time. 

Rebecca: Well, first of all, did we? And secondly... (SNIFFS) Oh, God, it stinks. It's way too dark in here. ( She opens the curtains. )

Simon: Wait, no, don't, don't! Please. Wait, no, no, don't, don't, please. Can you please keep those closed? You know how easily I burn. 

Rebecca: Simon, what's going on? 

Simon: Nothing, I'm fine. 

Elaine: Yeah? Mmm-hmm.

HAYLEY: This is bad. 

Simon: Uh, yeah. Fake blood. Stage blood. For my band. We're doing this, uh... This Ozzy Osbourne glitch... Glitch hop thing. 

Rebecca: That sounds really terrible. Well... (SNIFFS) Look, I volunteered in a hospital, and I know what real blood smells like. 

BONNIE: She found out. 

Simon: Then the guy who sold it to me lied. 

Rebecca: Okay. So none of this behavior seems... Crazy to you?

Rebecca: Whatever's going on, get it together, dude. Mmm. Flushing this down the toilet.

( Jace and Isabelle were fighting. ) (JACE GRUNTING) (ISABELLE GRUNTING) (JACE WHISTLES) 

Isabelle: Aldertree can't bench you. (PANTS) 

Jace: He already did. (BOTH GRUNTING) 

Isabelle: Did Alec come home? Rose? Theo? 

Jace: Yeah. Alec's still taking this really hard. Have you spoken to Clary? 

Isabelle: She's all right. She's keeping to herself. I made some food for her, but she didn't wanna eat it. 

Jace: Can you blame her? (ISABELLE GRUNTING) (BOTH GRUNTING) Come on, Iz. This is way too easy. 

Isabelle: Don't get cocky. (GRUNTING) (BOTH GRUNTING) ( Isabelle falls on the floor. ) 

Jace: You all right? It's the demon wound, isn't it, on your back? Look, if the runes aren't healing it, you need to get it fixed. 

Isabelle: I'll see a medic later. Relax. 

Jace: Might want to see him now. They're sending a team to the Iron Sisters after the Rite of Mourning. 

Isabelle: No way. 

Jace: You always wanted to be an Iron Sister when you were a kid, huh? 

Isabelle: (CHUCKLES) Until I realized I had to swear off boys. When do we leave? 

They chuckled at this. 

Jace: You're not going anywhere with a wound on your back. Aldertree would never let you. 

Isabelle: Aldertree doesn't need to know. 

Jace: Iz. (GRUNTS) ( He throws the stick but Isabelle wasn't able to catch it. ) Yeah, good luck with that. Look, Izzy, go and get it checked out. The last thing we need is another one of us sidelined. Okay? 

( Isabelle goes to see Aldertree. ) (KNOCK ON DOOR) 

Aldertree: Isabelle Lightwood. To what do I owe the pleasure? 

Isabelle: I would like to make a formal request to lead the mission to the Iron Sisters. 

Aldertree: Weren't you wounded in the demon attack? 

Isabelle: Yes, but I'm all healed up now. I feel fine. 

Aldertree: Your wound. May I take a look? (CHUCKLES) You know, I wasn't born a diplomat. I used to be a field medic. Sometimes I wish I still was. 

Isabelle: Really, I'm okay. 

Aldertree: I can't let you on the mission without an exam. (SIGHS) (GROANING) ( He sees the wound. ) That's not very pretty, is it? Does it hurt? 

Isabelle: No. Not at all. 

Aldertree: It looks like a venom infection. Healing runes aren't helping much? 

Isabelle: No. 

Aldertree: Isabelle, in your condition, I can't grant your request. 

Isabelle: You don't understand. I've waited my whole life to see the Iron Sisters. I can do this. 

Aldertree: The truth is, you can't do this, Isabelle. Not with a venom infection. But there is something that can make the infection go away. Quite quickly, I might add. ( He takes out yin fen. ) 

ISABELLE: The biggest mistake I ever made. 

Isabelle: I'll take it. 

Aldertree: It's called yin fen. It's quite strong. I don't usually recommend it, but if this is a mission you're set on making... May I? 

Isabelle: Please. 

Aldertree: This goes on the spine. (SIGHS) How's that? 

KOL: That's a drug. 

ACHATIUS: Yes, yin fen is a drug which can destroy you and take your life. 

Isabelle: Amazing. 

Aldertree: (SIGHS) I'll give you a tin. 

Isabelle: Yeah. 

Aldertree: But use sparingly. A little goes a long way. (SIGHS) 

( Alec comes to meet Clary. ) (KNOCK ON DOOR) 

Alec: Hey. Look, I, uh... 

Clary: Please don't. 

Alec: Clary, I am so sorry. I would do anything, I mean anything, to take back those 30 seconds. To get your mom back. 

Clary: Alec, maybe we can get her back. 

Alec: What? 

Clary: I found a warlock who claims she can do it. But there are risks. 

Alec: I'll go with you. Clary, if there's any chance that we can get your mother back, we have to take it. No matter what happens, I'll be there. 

ROSE: You didn't listened. 

CLARY: Do Morgensterns ever listen? ( Rose smiled. ) 

Clary: Okay. Let's do it. 

( They reach the warlock's house. A lady opens it. )

Lady: Are you here to see Dr. Rouse? 

Clary: Yes. Um... I... I think she's expecting me. My name's Clary. ( Iris comes. )

Iris: I was indeed expecting you. I only wondered when. And I see you brought a guest. Your boyfriend? 

Clary: Uh, no. 

Alec: No. 

MAX: Your face, Alec. It made my day. ( All of them laughed at this. )

Iris: Well, whatever you are, leave your weapon outside. Any warlock worth a damn can see through Shadowhunter glamour with ease. Oh, don't worry. It'll be safe in the alcove. (ALEC SIGHS) ( His bow and arrow appears. ) 

Iris: Sorry, did you bring your mother's... 

Clary: Uh, her hair. Yes. 

Iris: Perfect. Nurse Leigh will help you with the paperwork. 

Alec: Uh, paperwork? 

Iris: Yeah, just a simple pin prick to draw blood for the oath. For the favor we talked about.

Iris: That will help repel any demons that dare come near her soul. (SIGHS) There you go, Clary. Good girl. Now, let the process begin. ( She starts the magic. )

Scene Changes. 

Simon: Raphael, there has to be some way to get me blood here. Look, I... I know it's daytime. I don't know how much longer I can control myself, okay? (KNOCK ON DOOR) ( He opens the door. ) 

Elaine: Hey. 

Simon: Hey, Mom. 

Elaine: I thought I heard you banging around up here. Simon, what is wrong? You love my roast. 

Simon: Mmm-hmm. 

Elaine: And you know if you keep leaving food around, we're gonna have rats again, right? 

Simon: You're right, I'm sorry. That's my bad. (SIGHS) 

Elaine: Becky told me you're keeping blood in your room. What's going on? 

Simon: Nothing. 

Elaine: Have you joined a cult again? 

Simon: Mom, for the last time, World of Warcraft isn't a cult. 

Elaine: Then what is it? Come on, monkey. Just talk to me. 

Simon: Mom, this is not a normal person problem, okay? 

Elaine: Simon, I'm your mother. I'll always love you, no matter what. 

Simon: (SHUDDERING) I'm a vampire. (BREATHING HEAVILY) I said it. (CHUCKLING) Wow. You... You have no idea how good it feels to finally... Finally get that off my chest. (BOTH LAUGHING) 

Elaine: This is your best prank ever. (SIGHS) Oh, my gosh. Keeping the fake blood in your room. The blackout curtains. Wait. Do you sleep in a coffin? 

MATT: Anybody will think it's a joke until they watch the reality. 

Simon: No, it's a canoe. And, Mom, the blood wasn't fake. It was real. It's cow's blood, and it's gone now, and... I'm really hungry. 

Elaine: Oh, you're serious. 

Simon: It was... (STUTTERING) I know... I know how weird this is for you. But it started, like, a month ago, where Clary got into this thing where there are Shadowhunters, and I got bit by a vampire and I died. And, look, I know... I know this sounds totally insane to you, Mom, but please... (STAMMERING) Please, just... You have to believe me. Tell me... Tell me you believe me. 

Elaine: I believe you. 

Simon: Yeah? 

Elaine: Yeah. Okay, it's gonna be okay. Okay. Yeah. It's gonna be okay. All gonna be okay. 

Scene Changes. 

(IRIS CHANTING IN LATIN) (TAPPING ON WINDOW) (CROW PECKING AND CAWING) 

Clary: Oh, my God. (CROW CONTINUES CAWING AND PECKING) That bird! 

Elaine: Focus on your mother, Clary. ( The crow breaks from the glass. ) (GLASS SHATTERS) (CROW CAWING) (CHANTING IN LATIN CONTINUES) ( Iris breaks its neck. ) 

DAVINA: Oh God, that woman is really creepy. 

Clary: No. Stop! ( She takes the lock of hair back. ) (SIGHS) ( Camera is again focused on Alec. )

Alec: It's a nice place. Where are all your toys? ( He sees the mark on her neck. ) Cool gills. (BABY CRYING) ( Madzie goes upstairs and Alec follows her. ) ( Camera is again focused on Clary. ) 

Iris: Just because one bird came back badly doesn't mean... 

Clary: Well, I'm not willing to take the chance. I'm sorry I wasted your time. 

Iris: (SCOFFS) You didn't waste my time. You still owe me a favor. 

Clary: The deal's off. 

Iris: No, it's not. You took a blood oath. 

Clary: Fine. Call me when you need me. 

Iris: I need you now. 

( Alec goes upstairs. ) (BABY FUSSING) ( Camera is again focussed on Clary. ) 

Iris: You are going to host one of my finest creations. 

Clary: "Host"? What are you talking about? 

Iris: I'm talking about having a baby, Clary. A baby warlock. 

ELIJAH: She wanted to make you pregnant. 

(GASPS) ( Clary gets captured in the barrier. ) ( Alec sees the woman with baby. The baby shows demon eyes for a split second. ) ( Camera is focused on Clary again. ) (THUDS) 

Clary: Let me out! 

Iris: Warlocks are a dying breed, and I need young women like you, healthy and fertile, that my own private demon can impregnate. Oh, I wish there was another way to do it. I do. But now, with Valentine threatening to wipe us all out, we need to build our numbers. 

Clary: I'm a Shadowhunter. A demon can't get me... 

Iris: Pregnant? I think I finally discovered an elixir that makes it possible. 

TYLER: She spiked the tea. 

Clary: You spiked the tea. 

Iris: Imagine a baby warlock, part demon, part Shadowhunter. Now, that would be something. Definitely harder to drive into extinction. (GRUNTING) (THUDS) The good news is, after the baby's born, I'll do a memory wipe. You'll be back home, none the wiser. ( Camera is focused on Alec. He knocks on the door. )

Lady: Shh. There's babies sleeping. 

Alec: I'm looking for Clary. 

Lady: Who? 

Alec: I came here with her. You met her. Where is she? ( The lady leads her to the room. ) Where is she? What have you done with her? 

Scene Changes. 

( Isabelle is hitting the punching bag with the stick. )

Jace: You're looking better. 

Isabelle: Told you I was fine. 

Jace: Have you seen Clary? I can't find her anywhere. 

Isabelle: She's fine. She left with Alec a few hours ago. 

Jace: That warlock... ( Rose and Theo overheard their conversation. ) 

Rose: What? 

Isabelle: Warlock? ( They all leave from there. ) 

Scene Changes. 

Alec: Talk to me. 

Lady: I don't wanna get Iris in trouble. 

Alec: Nobody's gonna get in trouble. I promise. Was that your baby? 

Lady: One of them, I think. She takes our memories. I just remember little bits at a time. 

Alec: Wait, there's... There's more of you? 

Lady: The women come and go. The babies are placed in homes where they're cared for. Nurtured. 

Alec: Please, try to remember. Where did she take Clary? 

( Camera is focused on Clary. ) ( She finds herself in a dark cell locked up. ) (CREAKING) (GRUNTING) 

Clary: Alec! Anyone? (FAINT SCREAMING) Alec! ( Door opens and a demon comes there. ) (DEMON GROWLING) (SHUDDERING) (CONTINUES GROWLING) ( Theo, Rose, Jace and Isabelle reach the warlock house. ) 

Rose: You two take upstairs. I'll take the lower levels. Jace, with me. 

Isabelle: On it. (EXHALES SHARPLY) ( Iris comes and Alec pins her to the wall. ) 

Alec: Where is Clary? 

Iris: I suggest you take your hands off me, young man. 

Alec: Where is she? ( Iris slams him on the upper wall and then o the floor.  )

Iris: (EXHALES SHARPLY) You've gotta to do better than that, cheekbones. ( Madzie comes there. ) 

Madzie: Nana! Nana, no. 

Iris: Oh, hi, honeybun. Why don't you go back inside? And don't worry, I'm just playing with the man. 

Isabelle: Playtime's over. ( She tries to attack Iris with whip but she throws a magic ball. ) Put the girl down. 

Iris: Her name is Madzie, and she's better off with me than left to fend for herself in this cruel world. You can save the redhead, but she still owes me the favor. ( Theo comes there and Iris leaves. ) 

Alec: Izzy. Theo. 

Theo: Alec. You okay? (GRUNTS) 

Alec: We have to find Clary. 

( Camera is focused on Clary. ) (GROWLING) (GROWLING CONTINUES) ( She attacks the demon with chains. ) 

DAMON: The party wasn't over yet. 

Clary: Stay back! (DEMON BREATHING RAPIDLY) (DEMON GROWLING) ( She sees a rune in vision and draws it. ) ( She flashes the light on him and the demon dies. ) ( Jace and Rose saw that. ) (PANTING) 

STEFAN: You shot a sunlight out of your hand. 

Jace: What the hell was that? 

Clary: I... I don't know. I... I saw this vision of a rune and... And so I drew it. 

Jace: You just shot sunlight out of your hand. (CHUCKLES NERVOUSLY) I knew you had a strong skill set, but that was amazing. (CHUCKLES) 

Rose: Where's the rune? 

Clary: I don't know. It's gone. 

Jace: Look, whatever just happened, let's keep this to ourselves. 

Rose: He is right. Till the time we figure it out we are keeping this to ourselves. ( Alec, Izzy and Theo came there. Theo gave Rose a questioning look and she nodded. )

Alec: There you are. Are you okay? 

Clary: Yeah. I'm... I'm fine. 

Scene Changes. 

Elaine: Look, I know, but it's very important that I speak to Dr. Hughes. No, it's not a medical emergency. Actually, it is. I... No, I don't really know what's happening. Yes, so please, can you have him call me as soon as he can? Thank you. Simon. ( She opens the door and sees Simon feeding on a rat. ) (CRUNCHING) 

BONNIE: This is horrible. 

Simon: Oh, my... (SIGHING) 

Scene Changes. 

( Isabelle was applying the yin fen. ) ( Camera is focused on the funeral. )

Jace: You all right? ( Alec nods. ) 

Aldertree: Isabelle, you're looking well. Shoulder's healing nicely? 

Isabelle: Yes. Thank you. I don't see Simon or Luke. Clary asked if they... 

Aldertree: The Clave has enforced the order. ( Clary, Rose and Theo come. ) 

Clary: I can't do this, Jace. 

Jace: Yes, you can. Just don't let go of me. ( They go together. ) ( Rose takes a deep breathe and goes with Theo. ) 

Aldertree: Those remaining will take their place with the fallen. Those remaining will say the names of the fallen. 

Brother Enoch: Brother Micah. 

All: Pulvis et umbra sumus. 

Brother Isaac: Brother Jeremiah. 

All: For we are dust and shadows. (VOICE BREAKING) 

Clary and Rose: Jocelyn... (CRYING) 

( Tears escaped their eyes. )

Clary: Mom... ( She cries on Jace's shoulder. A lone tear falls out of Rose and Theo's eyes. ) (ALEC SNIFFLING) 

Theo: Jocelyn Fairchild. 

ALL THE SHADOWHUNTERS: Ave atque vale. 

All: Ave atque vale. Hail and farewell. (CLARY SNIFFLING) (SOBBING) ( They go back and stand with the rest. ) ( Rose hugs Clary. ) ( Silent Brother burns their bodies and their ashes fly outside the Institute. ) 

Scene Changes. 

( Luke sees the ashes flying in the air. ) (BONES CRACKING) ( He turns into a werewolf. ) (LUKE HOWLING)
