▁ ▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ ▌[EDOM, LILITH'S CASTLE]

[Demons are circling around Lilith's castle, all diving down into the rift that Lilith created. Jace and Izzy enter the castle.]

JACE: There she is.

ISABELLE: Lilith.

[Lilith turns to the duo. They notice her face and body is covered in black goo, like she's burnt.] 

DAMON: Was she in her semi-demon form? 

ROSE: Some thing, like that Damon. 

LILITH: My old friends, the Shadowhunters. What brings you to my neck of the woods? New York too cold this time of year?

JACE: We've come to stop you from killing Magnus.

LILITH: You? Cute. You're in my realm now. Those silly blades are nothing but toys here. 

BONNIE: They had you, they didn't needed blade. 

ISABELLE: Who said we needed blades?

[The air whooshes behind Lilith and she turns around to see Meliorn jumping from one of the walls, his spear ready. Lilith opens her wings and pierces Meliorn's body with her wing. Meliorn falls to the ground, Jace immediately kneels by him and inspects the wound. There's a lot of blood.] 

They gasped. 

CAROLINE: Oh my god, it's a lot of blood. 

JACE: Oh, no. [Lilith flies out of the castle as a demon.] He's losing a lot of blood.

[Izzy looks up at the sky at Lilith. She gathers flames from the heavenly fire in her hands, but they go out once Lilith is gone.]

JACE: Hang in there, Meliorn, okay? Just try and relax, okay? Nice, easy breaths.

[Jace keeps pressure on the wound. Meliorn groans.]

MELIORN: I am not ready to die, but if I do, [looking at Izzy] at least it will be with you. 

KOL: He still had feelings for you. 

ISABELLE: No one's dying, Meliorn. 

JACE: Actually, he might die. Sorry. 

KOL: Cons of being seelie.  

JACE: [to Meliorn] Look, we're gonna do everything we can to prevent that, okay?

[A Portal opens, and the group that was over at Asmodeus' castle comes out.]

ALEC: We thought you'd be here.

SIMON: Izzy, you okay?

CLARY: Is Meliorn okay?

JONATHAN: What happened to him?

MAGNUS: Where is Lilith?

ISABELLE: She's gone. She turned into this enormous flying wraith. But she might be coming back. 

JACE: One of her wings sliced right through Meliorn.

MELIORN: We'll help.

LORENZO: I'll take care of the bleeding.

[Lorenzo and Magnus go to Meliorn and use their magic on him. Jace goes to the other group.]

CLARY: I've seen Lilith like that before. When she stole a sliver of my soul, she was strong enough to almost murder Ithuriel.

ALEC: Where is she?

JACE: Coming for Magnus. 

JONATHAN: She wants to reopen the rift.

[There is a roar close by. Magnus turns around.] 

STEFAN: She came again. 

MAGNUS: Oh, looks as if she's found me.

[Lilith charges for the castle in her demon flight mode.]

SIMON: Not a good look on her.

MAGNUS: Stand back.

[Magnus and Lorenzo make eye contact and nod. They both snap their fingers and channel their magic to merge it together. They throw a fireball at Lilith, but it does not seem to hurt Lilith. Alec raises his bow and gets ready to fire five arrows at once. They only make Lilith go off course for a second, then she shoots a fireball at the castle. Izzy steps forward and charges the fire in her hands.] 

BONNIE: Don't do that. 

ALEC: Izzy, don't! Don't!

CLARY: Izzy! Izzy, don't! Please don't.

[Izzy holds the fire in front of them as a shield and then shoots the fire out of her hands right at Lilith as she flies closer. Lilith's eye widens. Then she evaporates fully. Dust and ashes fall to the ground.] 

HOPE: She is finally, dead. 

[Izzy's body is on fire, literally. She falls to the ground, gasping. The group immediately goes to her.] 

HAYLEY: Your whole body was on fire. 

CLARY: Isabelle!

ALEC: Isabelle! 

JONATHAN: Izzy! 

JACE: Izzy!

CLARY: We have to do something.

ALEC: Magnus, heal her.

[Magnus and Lorenzo try to use their magic to save Izzy.]

MAGNUS: I'm trying.

ALEC: Well, try harder!

LORENZO: It's not working. 

HOPE: The heavenly fire was stopping you guys. 

MAGNUS: The heavenly fire's stopping us.

CLARY: What if I put the Alliance rune on Izzy? We could bond her to all of us. We could maybe absorb some of the flame. 

FREYA: That can save her. 

LORENZO: How do we know it's not gonna fry us up? Remember, we all have demon blood now.

ALEC: We all have Nephilim blood, too.

JONATHAN: Alec's right. 

JACE: Let's do this.

CLARY: Form a circle.

ISABELLE: It's too dangerous.

SIMON: Izzy. If it's the only way to save your life, we're all gonna die trying. 

Izzy smiled at the scene. 

[Clary takes Magnus' arm.]

MAGNUS: What are you doing?

CLARY: We all need to be connected.

[Magnus groans as Clary draws the Alliance rune on his hand. Then, she draws the same rune on the hand of Jonathan.]

CLARY: Izzy.

[Clary takes Izzy's hand and draws the Alliance rune on the back. They help Izzy stand and they all form a circle, holding hands. The fire goes through the chain through all of them. They all groan. Everyone's body is on fire now. Suddenly, the fire all goes in the circle and shoots up into the sky. It explodes in the clouds. No one is on fire anymore. Everyone is panting.] 

FREYA: Thank god, you all were okay. 

BONNIE: It worked. 

THEO: It did. 

ALEC: Thank the Angel you're okay.

SIMON: Thank Clary.

[Simon goes to Izzy and hugs her tightly. Clary goes to Jace.]

CLARY: It was all of us.

LORENZO: Isabelle might be okay, but it appears Edom is very much not.

[Lorenzo points in the distance and everyone looks at the explosions further away.] 

DAVINA: What was going on? 

ROSE: Edom was getting destroyed with Lilith. 

ISABELLE: What's going on?

[Edom is on fire. The demons are angry. The dark clouds are taking over Edom.]

MAGNUS: It looks like the heavenly fire destroyed Lilith. But the chain reaction is destroying the entire realm.

JACE: Then we should get out of here.

ALEC: Wait. Don't we have to close the rift? 

LOUIS: No reason to close the rift if, Edom is getting destroyed. 

MAGNUS: There's no reason to close it if Edom doesn't exist anymore. [Magnus quickly opens a Portal.] Come on! Hurry! 

JONATHAN: Wait, if Edom is really getting destroyed, then I have someone important to save.  

FINN: Who? 

JONATHAN: Someone, I should have saved before. 

[CELL, EDOM] 

[Jonathan was walking towards a cell. The rest of the group was following him.] 

JACE: What are we doing? 

JONATHAN: Wait, a minute. 

[He reached the cell. They see someone chained up to the walls.] 

JONATHAN: Louis! 

CAROLINE: That was you? 

Louis nodded. 

[Louis raises his head and shows his hybrid face, veins were under his eyes which were golden in the iris and black around it.] 

All of them were shocked seeing his face. 

KLAUS: You are a hybrid? 

LOUIS: No, I am a quadbrid, Shadowhunter, Vampire, Werewolf and Warlock. 

They were shocked by this. 

ELIJAH: But our kind of vampires don't exist in your world, then, how is that possible. 

ROSE: Something, I even don't know. 

[Jonathan enters the cell and starts breaking his chains.] 

LOUIS: You promised me, you won't come back here to save me. 

JONATHAN: I didn't return to Edom for that reason. But it doesn't matter, Edom is getting destroyed and I am taking you out of this hell. 

They smiled at their friendship. 

[Clary notices the rune on his body.]

CLARY: He is a Shadowhunter?  

JACE: That doesn't explain his face. 

[Louis falls on Jonathan as he broke all the chains.] 

ISABELLE: He has been tortured. 

Rose heart was shattered at that sight, she was feeling sad as well as angry. Achatius was feeling the same but he tried to soothe Rose first. 

CAROLINE: Did Lilith did this to you? 

Louis nodded. 

CAROLINE: That is horrible. 

ALEC: He is. 

[Jonathan was carrying Louis with him.] 

JOANTHAN: We are ready to go now. 

[Everyone runs to the Portal and they all go through it.]

ALEC: Let's go! Go, go, go!

MAGNUS: Come on!

[Magnus takes one last look before the castle is destroyed by dark clouds and fireballs. The Portal closes after him and flames fill the screen.] 

JEREMY: So, Edom is now destroyed. 

[ADDISON'S APARTMENT] 

ADDISON: So, my little brother came back from dead and now, causing trouble. [She chuckles dryly.] I won't leave Lilith. She already ruined my life I won't let her ruin my baby brother's life. 

ROSE: We just need something to bring him back. 

ADDISON: There is a way. We have to forge a weapon that won't kill him but will give him near to death experience. His demon side will be most vulnerable at that moment and that's where you will help his angel side come out. 

ACHATIUS: The dagger is my worst nightmare. 

[Rose nods. Addison starts preparing for the spell. She keeps a metal at the table.] 

ADDISON: This metal is in alloy and has a very less amount of black sister. You both ready? 

TYLER: What is Black Sister? 

ACHATIUS: It is a sword and the only thing in the world that can kill me. 

BONNIE: But when the rune attached you together, the Seelie Queen tried to kill you, how is that possible. 

ROSE: When he came back to life, his life force depended on mine and I can be killed, so, at that time he can also die. 

THEO: We are. 

[Three of them, hold hands and started chanting the spell. Wind started blowing, candles' flames were high. They started chanting even louder. The glass on window shattered but they continued the spell. They were bleeding. The dagger was ready, Rose smiled and they sighed in relief before passing out.] 

The witches were fascinated seeing the spell. 

KOL: You were drained out of energy. That spell is a difficult one. 

ROSE: It is. 

THEO: You know for a second, I thought Addy would dump Lucifer and you will leave Achatius, and will run off to sunset together. 

Rose gives Theo a look. 

[INTRO IS SHOWN]

Rosaline opens her eyes and flashes her alpha eyes who had golden hue. She swings her katanas and fearless rune is showed. Achatius is standing in Edom and his eyes turn black and white wings appear behind his back. Theodore's magical bow appears and he stretches its string forming the strength rune. Jonathan is shown showing his demon eyes and his seraph blade appears. He cuts the air and flexibility rune is show. Clary is seen blowing the candles on her birthday cake forming the angelic rune. Jace is seen jumping from a building with eagles surrounding him. He jumps on the ground splashing the water which forms heightened speed rune. Alec is seen a room with healing rune drawn on one of the walls. He aims his arrow. Isabelle is now shown swinging her blade forming the parabatai rune. Simon is seen wiping the blood on his lips in hotel de mort. The whole background turns black and white. Luke is seen with a wall behind him covered with runes and wolves. Magnus is drinking his cocktail. Scene splits and shows Theo and Rose using their magic and flashing their golden red eyes. Achatius hands have sparkles dancing. Then all the runes are shown burning and Rosaline, Theo, Clary, Jace, Jonathan, Alec and Isabelle are shown walking and the title Shadowhunter appears with The Mortal Instruments written below. And the screen turns black. 

[TITLE SCREEN]

[SIMON'S APARTMENT] 

[Simon and Izzy are on the couch, undressed, making out. They only have a blanket over them.] 

ALEC: Oh god, not this. 

THEO: Was that necessary to show us? 

[THE INSTITUTE, JACE'S BEDROOM]

[Clary and Jace are lying in bed, Clary in Jace's arms. They're both asleep.]

[MAGNUS' APARTMENT]

[Alec and Magnus are lying in bed. Magnus is watching Alec sleep. Magnus goes through Alec's hair with his fingers.]

[SIMON'S APARTMENT]

[Simon and Izzy are now sitting up, still undressed. Izzy has the blanket wrapped around her. They're playfully holding hands, stroking each others' fingers.]

SIMON: You know what's weird?

ISABELLE: What?

SIMON: That this, you and me, it's not weird.

ISABELLE: I know. It's the opposite of weird.

SIMON: Only problem is that I happen to have zero skills at doing this.

ISABELLE: Actually, I wouldn't say zero.

[Simon chuckles.]

SIMON: I mean this, like, relationships. Every one that I've been in has magnificently imploded like the Death Star.

ISABELLE: [sighs] I'm even worse. Why don't we try to learn to be better together?

SIMON: Yeah. I'd like that.

[They come close to kissing and fall back down on the couch.] 

They both smiled at this. 

[INFIRMARY, INSTITUTE] 

[Louis was on the bed and Jonathan was sitting there.] 

LOUIS: Thanks for saving me. 

JONATHAN: You were the first true friend I ever had and I won't have just left you there to die. 

[Louis hugged Jonathan, they smiled.] 

CAROLINE: I love your friendship. 

[MAGNUS' APARTMENT]

[Magnus is at his desk, writing something with a big smile on his face. Alec enters.]

ALEC: Good morning.

[Magnus rises, holding the piece of paper in his hand.]

MAGNUS: Good morning it is. A good morning indeed.

[Alec kisses Magnus on the cheek and then Magnus holds up the paper, smiling.]

ALEC: What's this?

[Alec takes the paper out of Magnus' hand and reads it.] 

BONNIE: Was that an invitation of your wedding? 

Magnus and Alec nodded. 

ALEC: "You are cordially invited to the wedding of Alexander Gideon Lightwood and Magnus Bane." [He continues reading.] Tonight? 

KOL: Too excited to get married. Trust me, it's not the same thing after you get married. 

Davina glared at him. 

DAVINA: What do you want to say, Kol? 

KOL: Um, nothing. 

[Alec looks doubtful that they can pull that off.]

MAGNUS: Why wait even a day longer? After everything we've been through, who knows what crisis will befall us tomorrow.

ALEC: I don't know. I was hoping that maybe we could plan.

MAGNUS: When your wedding planner is a warlock, all you need is a little magic and exquisite taste. Ah, all right. First up, location. How about the Taj Mahal?

ALEC: [shaking his head] Mmm-mmm.

MAGNUS: Or Machu Picchu, hmm, in the Temple of the Sun?

[Magnus walks a couple steps away, picturing their wedding. Alec steps behind him with a dreamy look on his face.]

ALEC: Or how about the Institute? 

CAROLINE: That's the worst place for the wedding. 

MAGNUS: [turns around] [sarcastically] Right. Because when I think romantic, I think of the New York Institute. How about Ladera in St. Lucia? Overlooking the tropical sea. Portals will shuttle in guests, and we can–

ALEC: Magnus, just think. The Clave would have to honor and celebrate a relationship between a warlock and a Shadowhunter. Under their own roof. I mean, think about the message that would send to others like us. 

FREYA: That was very thoughtful. 

[Magnus thinks about it, then smiles.]

MAGNUS: All right. The Institute it is, then. I'll send out invitations and begin preparations. Tuxedos?

ALEC: I do like you in a tux.

MAGNUS: Mmm. Why mess with success? [Alec has a big dorky smile on his face.] What?

ALEC: It's just, all these hundreds of years, I can't believe you've never been married. 

FREYA: It's all about finding the right person. 

Keelin smiled at her wife. 

[Magnus comes closer to Alec and wraps his hands around the back of his neck.]

MAGNUS: Well, I've never met anyone like you.

[They kiss.]

[THE INSTITUTE]

[Clary and Jace are walking to the Ops Center as two fire messages catch up to them. Clary and Jace turn around and pluck them out of the air. They both read them.]

JACE: They're not wasting any time. It's happening tonight.

CLARY: I can't think of a couple more perfect for each other.

JACE: I can think of one.

[Clary looks up and smiles.]

CLARY: Will you be my date?

JACE: Yes, Clary. Yeah, I'll be your date. [Clary's smile fades as she looks out over the Ops Center.] What? What is it?

CLARY: I just wish we could be celebrating without Achatius still lurking out there.

[Jace approaches Clary.]

JACE: Yeah, I know. But there's always gonna be demons lurking. Edom may be gone, but there's plenty of other Hell realms still out there. But that doesn't mean we can't come together and celebrate a wedding. It's what we fight for, right? So we can live and love in peace. 

JONATHAN: True. 

[SEELIE COURT]

[Achatius and the Queen are lying on a bed of flowers, they're also covered in them and in moss. The Queen is stroking Achatius' neck. Achatius has a neutral look on his face and stares into the distance.] 

Rose rolled her eyes at this. 

CAROLINE: You slept with that Seelie bitch. 

ACHATIUS: I myself don't know what my demon self was thinking. 

SEELIE QUEEN: You are a powerful one, aren't you? You know, if we had a child together, our progeny could very easily be the most formidable creature the world has ever known. Imagine that. 

Rose scoffed. 

THEO: I can't believe I dated her, once. 

ACHATIUS: I'd rather not.

[Achatius sits up.]

SEELIE QUEEN: Where are you going?

[Achatius puts on pants and shoes.]

ACHATIUS: Away.

SEELIE QUEEN: Why? I thought you were quite comfortable here.

ACHATIUS: You gave me a moment of pleasure, sure. But you offer me no comfort.

[Achatius gets up from the bed and puts on a shirt.]

SEELIE QUEEN: Do I have to remind you it was I who nursed you back to health? Who taught you how to properly use your powers?

ACHATIUS: Everything you do is for yourself. You fear me, as you should. You want to become an ally, so you don't die like everybody else. You're smart.

[The Queen gets up from the bed and approaches Achatius.]

SEELIE QUEEN: You misunderstand, Achatius. I have feelings for you.

ACHATIUS: Yes, you do. You want me to be your weapon.

SEELIE QUEEN: I want you to be my king. Together, we will destroy the Shadowhunters and rule the earthly realm side by side.

[Achatius' eyes turn black.]

ACHATIUS: I prefer to rule alone.

[The Queen is on high alert and transforms herself into her child-like form.] 

ELENA: She is scared. 

SEELIE QUEEN: Please, Achatius. Please. You wouldn't dare hurt a child. Have mercy.

ACHATIUS: Mercy is for humans.

[The Seelie Queen gasps and screams as Achatius uses his powers on her.]

ACHATIUS: And I'm no longer human.

[When Achatius walks away, there is just a puff of smoke where the Seelie Queen was just standing.] 

CAROLINE: Thank you for killing her, she was really getting on my nerves. 

[THE INSTITUTE, ALEC'S OFFICE]

[Alec is pacing, touching the ring that's on his finger. Jace enters with a big smile on his face. Alec turns to him, smiling as well.]

ALEC: I guess you heard.

[They hug.]

JACE: I sensed it long before I got the invite. Alec, congratulations. I'm so happy for you.

ALEC: Thank you. You know, Magnus is taking care of everything.

JACE: Right.

ALEC: But there's a few things I have to do. Like asking you to be my suggenes. 

HAYLEY: Again. 

JACE: Again?

ALEC: Again. Yeah.

[They both laugh.]

JACE: Alec, of course.

ALEC: Uh, plus, there's something else I wanted to tell you. I'm gonna be moving into Magnus' apartment.

JACE: Oh.

ALEC: It's not a problem, right?

JACE: No. I mean, there's no rule that says the head of Institute has to... Has to live on-site. Right?

ALEC: Right.

JACE: Just, um... don't be a stranger.

ALEC: Jace, you're my parabatai. Wherever I go, you're right there next to me.

[They hug again.]

[THE INSTITUTE, WEAPONRY]

[Izzy walks around the desk and approaches Clary.]

ISABELLE: So, you both're not freaked out?

CLARY: Are you kidding? Two of my favorite people are now a couple. I'm ecstatic.

ISABELLE: You don't know how much that means to me.

CLARY: So are you guys going to the wedding together?

ISABELLE: That's the plan. Magnus and Alec were never afraid to show the world how much they loved each other. So I plan on following in their footsteps. 

HOPE: That's very nice. 

CLARY: Izzy, what you did, the courage that took... Going to Edom alone, risking your life to save Magnus, that was beyond heroic.

ISABELLE: I could say the same thing about you. You saved my life, Clary. [Clary turns away and has a troubled look on her face.] What's wrong?

CLARY: I have a question for you. And you don't have to answer right away.

ISABELLE: What is it?

CLARY: And if the answer is no, I promise I won't be offended.

ISABELLE: Okay, now you're getting me worried.

CLARY: Isabelle, would you ever consider becoming my parabatai?

ISABELLE: I was thinking of asking you the very same thing. 

CLARY: You were? 

ROSE: I couldn't think of anyone better than being your parabatai, Clary. You and Izzy are perfect for the parabatai role. 

ISABELLE: You know, I always thought I never needed a parabatai, that I was at my best when I was on my own. But that was before I met you. Clary, [they take each other's arm] I'd like nothing more than to have you as my parabatai. 

They smiled at this. 

[THE INSTITUTE, ENTRY HALL]

[Luke, a Shadowhunter now, is held up after the front doors by Underhill.]

UNDERHILL: Wait, wait. I thought you were a werewolf.

LUKE: I was.

UNDERHILL: I mean. Former alpha of the New York pack, if I'm not mistaken.

LUKE: No, no, you're not mistaken.

UNDERHILL: So, then, what the hell is–

[Clary spots Luke from afar and yells out.]

CLARY: Luke!

[Luke pats Underhill on the shoulder and goes to Clary, who is walking towards him as well.]

LUKE: Hey.

CLARY: Underhill, it's okay. It's my dad. Hi. [They hug tightly.] Luke, what happened?

LUKE: Well, the Praetor made me inject myself with the Downworld cure. But instead of becoming mundane, I became what I was before I turned.

CLARY: A Shadowhunter.

LUKE: Yeah. Good news is, I'm back where I belong. Working beside you, helping mundanes and Downworlders alike.

CLARY: Luke, I can't believe it.

LUKE: I know, right? Look, I have to catch a Portal to Alicante for a debriefing, but I wanted to stop by just so you know that I'm okay. 

DAVINA: You were gonna miss the wedding. 

CLARY: You're better than okay.

LUKE: Tell that to Alec. I gotta go tell him that I'm gonna miss his wedding.

CLARY: Ooh. Good luck.

LUKE: Thanks.

[Luke walks past Clary. Clary smiles.] 

[A portal opens and Rose and Theo come out of it. Clary ran towards Rose and hugged her.] 

HOPE: And here you come. 

CLARY: Rose, Theo, you came back. 

ROSE: Yes, and I do have what we need. 

CLARY: You two missed so much. Magnus came back and Alec and Magnus are getting married tonight. 

THEO: Tonight? I am so happy for both of them.  

ROSE: Finally, they are getting what they deserve, happiness. 

CLARY: You are right. 

[Rose sees Jonathan walking with Louis, she was so close to breaking down. Theo also noticed Louis, Louis turned around to see Rose and Theo. Tears were streaming down their cheeks. Clary and Jonathan were confused and shocked.]  

They were shocked. 

CAROLINE: You two know each other? 

ROSE: Louis? 

[Louis and Rose ran towards each other and hugged. Rose was kissing Louis' forehead.] 

ROSE: I thought you were... dead. 

LOUIS: I was but I came back as a vampire. 

CLARY: What is going on? 

[Louis looks over to see Theo.] 

LOUIS: Uncle Theo. 

DAVINA: Uncle? 

[Theo also hugs him.] 

THEO: Champ, you have grown up. 

JONATHAN: Uncle? 

THEO: He is Rosaline and Achatius' son. 

All of them were shocked by now. Klaus was shocked the most. 

DAMON: You are a mommy? 

ROSE: I am. Is that so hard to believe?  

CLARY: What? Rose had a son. 

THEO: She did but we thought he was dead where did you find him? 

JONATHAN: He was one of the prisoners in Edom. 

CAROLINE: Lilith tortured your son. 

ROSE: For bloody twenty years. 

[Rose's rage was very high. She had a murderous look in her eyes.] 

ROSE: She kept me away from my son for twenty years, I won't leave her! 

JONATHAN: She is dead, Izzy killed her. 

ROSE: Did she suffer? 

BONNIE: I want to kill her twenty more times. 

CAROLINE: Same here. 

[Jonathan nodded. Rose hugs Louis one more time.] 

ROSE: I promise, nothing bad will happen to you ever again. 

LOUIS: I know. Where is dad? 

STEFAN: You needed to fill him in. 

[Rose looks towards Theo.] 

[MAGNUS' APARTMENT]

[Dozens of cakes are presented on the table, and Magnus is tasting one of them, while band music is playing.] 

KOL: Oh my god, you were tasting every cake. 

MAGNUS: Mmm. Not bad.

[Magnus puts down the plate and snaps his fingers. Another plate with a different piece of cake appears in his hand. Before he can taste it, there's a knock on the door. Magnus puts the cake down and snaps his fingers to open the door. Lorenzo enters and he himself closes the door behind him with his magic.]

LORENZO: Did you not eat down in Edom?

[Magnus snaps his fingers, and all the cakes disappear and the music stops playing.]

MAGNUS: What can I do for you, Lorenzo?

LORENZO: I just came by to pick up a few of my things.

MAGNUS: Help yourself.

[Lorenzo turns around and spots a painting of himself in fencing armor.]

LORENZO: Ah, there it is. This beauty belongs in my château in Majorca. [he snaps his fingers to send the painting away; he spots something else] And I believe this sterling drink stirrer is mine as well.

[Lorenzo puts the stirrer in the pocket of his jacket.]

MAGNUS: Lorenzo, I want to thank you. For risking your life to help save mine.

LORENZO: I was just doing my part as a member of the warlock community. That is all.

MAGNUS: Alec told me how helpful and supportive you were. He means a lot to me.

LORENZO: Actually, the trip to Edom turned out to be something of an inspiration. You know, I never had a family. Never thought one was even possible. But the way your loved ones rallied for you, for each other, showed me a family doesn't need to be something that you're born into. Families can be made. One day, I hope to be as lucky as you in finding one of my own. Take care, Magnus. 

HAYLEY: He is not that bad. 

[Lorenzo starts heading for the door.]

MAGNUS: Lorenzo... [Lorenzo stops walking and Magnus approaches him.] I'd like you to have this.

[Magnus holds out the invitation to his wedding.]

LORENZO: [smiling] An invitation? 

FINN: Inviting him to the wedding was a very good move. 

[OUROBOROS]

[Alec has come to visit his mother in the shop and give her the invitation.]

MARYSE: This evening?

ALEC: We didn't want to waste any more time.

MARYSE: There's so much to prepare. How can you possibly–

ALEC: Magnus has it all under control. He's taking care of everything.

MARYSE: In that case, it'll be perfect. [they hug] Oh, what am I gonna wear? I need time to go shopping.

[Alec walks to the other room.]

ALEC: On that note, I almost forgot. [Alec comes back with a bag; he holds it out to Maryse] Magnus wanted me to give you this.

[Maryse takes the bag and pulls out a gorgeous dress.] 

HOPE: That's beautiful. 

MARYSE: Oh. Alec... [holding it up for herself to the mirror] it's stunning.

[Maryse's smile fades when she sees the look on Alec's face change.]

ALEC: There was something else I wanted to ask you.

[Maryse turns to her son.]

MARYSE: Of course.

ALEC: I wanted to invite Dad to the wedding, but before I do, I just want to make sure that you're okay with that–

MARYSE: Alec, whatever happened between Robert and me, he will always be your father and every bit as proud of you as I am.

[Maryse holds Alec's face with one hand and they both smile.] 

[THE INSTITUTE, ROSE'S BEDROOM] 

[Louis was drinking from blood bag.]

LOUIS: Uncle Theo killed Dad and now when he came back to life he is hell bent on destroying heaven. So, much happened in twenty years. I missed so much. 

ROSE: It did but the good thing is we can correct all those things. And the most important thing is I got you back. 

[Louis smiled.] 

ROSE: What did Lilith do to you in Edom? 

LOUIS: When she came to kill me, she did succeed but she brought my dead body with her, all of a sudden I gasped and woke up and felt this enormous hunger inside me for blood. I completed my transition but Lilith noticed I was different from other vampires. She didn't had to dig my grave, I didn't even had vampire blood in my system. I was first of my kind. She saw this as an opportunity for a weapon. So, she chained me up and used to test on me, she made me feed different kind of blood, she used to starve me to see I will desiccate in how much time, she used to wound me to see, till when my healing powers will work. She even used a wooden stake to see if I get killed by it and I did died but only for a few hours. She used to take my blood to see if she can create others like me. 

They were shocked to listen this. 

STEFAN: You were so badly tortured. 

ELIJAH: Did you mention getting staked and coming back to life? 

LOUIS: I did. 

Rose realises something. She looks towards Klaus and then, Hayley. But she shrugs of the thought. 

[Rose was in shock.] 

ROSE: You went to through so much, this is all my fault, I should have searched more for you. If I would have found you, you wouldn't have to go through all the trouble you went. 

LOUIS: You could not have done anything. Mom, it is not your fault. All that matters is that I am back and now, we have to get dad back. 

ROSE: You are right. I have the perfect weapon and the perfect person.  

HAYLEY: You were going to use him. 

[THE LA INSTITUTE]

[Robert Lightwood is standing on the balcony, looking out over the sea. He's on the phone with another Shadowhunter.] 

THEO: That's the Los Angeles Institute. 

ROBERT: I've been trying to reach the Istanbul Institute all morning. Has anyone in London had any contact with them? [...] That's odd. Call me if you hear anything.

[Robert hangs up, he sighs. Max approaches him.]

MAX: I finished those weapon inventories you asked for.

ROBERT: Thanks, Max.

MAX: The strings on the longbows were too loose. I tightened them a notch.

ROBERT: Good job, son. You know, I got your evaluations this morning. After everything you've been through, you're still the top cadet in your class. 

ISABELLE: He is a Lightwood and he is the best. 

[They chuckle. But then the alarm starts blaring.]

ROBERT: Those are the perimeter wards. Stay here.

[Robert goes inside. Max stays behind.]

[THE LA INSTITUTE]

[Robert sees dozens of Shadowhunters lying dead on the ground. He has his blade ready. On the other side of the room stands Achatius.]

ACHATIUS: Good afternoon.

ROBERT: Please, stop the killing.

ACHATIUS: Now, why would I do that?

ROBERT: Whatever it is you want, take it.

[Max comes running in and throws a dagger right in Achatius' chest.] 

CAROLINE: Oh no, he shouldn't be there. 

ACHATIUS: Look who's here, the traitor's brother.

[Robert charges forward and pierces Achatius' stomach with the blade. Robert twists the blade and pulls it out. Achatius falls to the ground. Robert turns to Max.]

ROBERT: I thought I told you to stay put.

[Robert follows Max' shocked eyes and turns around to see Achatius rising up again. Achatius cracks his neck and seems ready to attack.]

ACHATIUS: Oh, Shadowhunter, you think you're tough?

ROBERT: Stay back, Max.

ACHATIUS: You're not as tough as I am.

ROBERT: Stay back.

[THE INSTITUTE, CLARY'S BEDROOM]

[Clary is looking out the window. She turns around when she hears her door open.]

JACE: Hey, there you are. What are you doing in here?

CLARY: Just thinking. 

JACE: Thinking about what? 

CLARY: I have nephew who is older than me. All this thing... 

LOUIS: It's not my fault that I was born before you Aunt Clary. 

JACE: I know it is hard to digest. 

CLARY: I am happy, Rose got her son back, I can't even imagine how much pain she went through in her life. First loosing her child, then, love of her life and parabatai. 

JACE: She is the strongest woman I have ever seen. 

BONNIE: She is. 

The others nodded their heads in agreement. 

[Both their cell phones chime. They look at the message.]

CLARY: Oh, no.

[THE INSTITUTE, OPS CENTER]

[Alec is standing on the platform, speaking to all the Shadowhunters.]

ALEC: We've just been informed that a string of demonic attacks have taken place at 13 Institutes worldwide with massive casualties, both mundane and Shadowhunter. Whoever or whatever is carrying out these attacks is not stopping. And there are several Institutes currently unaccounted for.

ISABELLE: What about Los Angeles? 

THEO: Have you heard from them?

ALEC: Nothing yet.

ISABELLE: I'm going there right now. Theo, can you make me a Portal?

[The computer beeps.]

UNDERHILL: Wait. Hold up. Look at this.

[Everyone gathers at the screen. A picture of Max and Robert appears.] 

KEELIN: That was your dad and brother. 

ROBERT: Hello? Can you hear me?

ALEC: Dad, yes. 

JONATHAN: What happened?

ROBERT: Achatius attacked the LA Institute a few minutes ago.

ROSE: I had a feeling it was him.

ALEC: How many casualties?

ROBERT: He killed everyone except for me and Max. 

DAVINA: Oh, my god. 

[Louis was in shock.]

ISABELLE: By the Angel.

ROBERT: He only spared us because he wanted us to take his message directly to Rose. He's taking down every Institute in the world, and he's saving New York for last.

THEO: Why?

ROBERT: Because he wants Rose to watch the world die, knowing that it's all her fault. 

KLAUS: What a perfect revenge plan! 

[TORONTO]

[Achatius is flying over the city. He lands in the street, cars honk when they have to stop for him.]

MAN: What the hell is going on?

[Achatius' wings are still out. His eyes turn black. He starts suffocating the man in the car in front. The man's head falls onto the steering wheel, making the horn continuing to go off. People start screaming and running away. Achatius walks through the street and kills more and more bystanders on the sidewalk, just by looking at them and making them suffocate.] 

Achatius was now looking at the screen in guilt. 

[THE INSTITUTE, OPS CENTER]

[Alec is planning a counterattack with Clary, Theo, Rose, Jonathan, Louis, Izzy, Simon and Magnus.]

ALEC: He's not showing any signs of slowing down. Denver and Chicago have already been hit. 

JACE: Hundreds of Shadowhunters and at least mundanes have already been killed.

SIMON: The news is calling it a string of chemical weapons attacks. People are being told to stay indoors.

MAGNUS: Lorenzo and I have the warlock community at the ready.

[Jace joins them at the table.]

JACE: We're detecting a strong demonic presence in downtown Toronto.

[Jace pulls up the holographic map of Toronto. A red flashing light is going off.]

ISABELLE: Same energy signature we've seen in the other attacks.

THEO: He's heading to the Toronto Institute.

JACE: I'll assemble a team.

ALEC: Not yet. I'm not sending anybody on a suicide mission. This is not the same Achatius as before. He's more powerful than ever.

ROSE: I can stop him. I'll go, alone with Louis. 

ALEC: That's not gonna happen.

ROSE: He won't hesitate to kill any of you. He won't kill us. 

ACHATIUS: I will never kill any of them. 

JONATHAN: Can you be sure about that?

ROSE: I know him. 

SIMON: And what if you're wrong?

ISABELLE: It's too much of a gamble.

ROSE: How many more people have to die? This needs to end and I can end it. 

JACE: What happens if you get there and you can't take him out? He's pretty much invincible now.

LOUIS: Not against us. 

DAVINA: True. 

[Eventually, everyone seems kind of okay with the plan. Alec leans in and sighs.]

ALEC: We'll be right behind you.

SIMON: We'll be there to back you up.

ROSE: You come anywhere near him and you're all dead. We're going, and we're going alone.

ALEC: Then we'll watch you on the monitors. Anything happens, we're coming right in.

ROSE: I promise no one else will die today. 

[Theo goes around the table and talks to Rose in a lower voice.]

THEO: Hey.

ROSE: Hey.

THEO: Are you sure about this?

ROSE: I'm sure. 

KOL: She was pretty determined. 

[TORONTO]

[Achatius is walking through the street, leaving a path of death and destruction behind. A big police truck stops in front of him, and armed men come out.]

OFFICER: Hands on your head! Freeze! On the ground, now!

[Achatius' eyes turn black, and he kills all police men without much effort. A Portal opens in front of Achatius and Rose steps out.]

ACHATIUS: You took your time.

ROSE: I'm unarmed. I just want to talk to you.

[Rose approaches him slowly.]

ACHATIUS: I knew you'd come eventually. It's kind of ironic, considering the time when I needed you, you were never there.

ROSE: Well, I'm here for you now. Please just stop the killing.

ACHATIUS: Stay back, Rose, or I will end you, too. I mean it.

[Rose continues walking, only slower. She is close to tears.]

ROSE: Achatius, you and I, we've always been connected. After, your death, there wasn't a single day I didn't felt that void in my life. I needed you more than you needed me. 

ACHATIUS: You needed me? 

THEO: Of course, you dumb ass. 

ROSE: I never had a an actual family, except, Theo, I had a father who was nothing more than a manipulator, a mother who always made the wrong choices, even with me. And when I met you I realised I actually had a family, I didn't feel so alone anymore. 

They were now feeing bad. 

ACHATIUS: And then you turned your back on that family.

ROSE: I tried not to. I wanted to believe in you, Achatius. I did. Ever since I was a little girl, you were my boy in the dreams. The boy that I always wanted to have but I never thought I could. But I was wrong. You thought I loved only the angel part of you but you are wrong. When I loved you, I didn't fell for a part of you, I loved you whole. I loved your angels as well as angels. [stroking Achatius' cheek] Even now, despite anything you've done and what we've been through, or how much I wanna fight it or wipe it away, I will always love you. Always. 

Their eyes were moist by now. 

ACHATIUS: I love you, too, Rose.

[Rose nods and pulls Achatius into a hug, holding her stele in one hand. Crying, Rose starts drawing a rune on the dagger. She holds the dagger in her hands. She stabs Achatius' in the heart. Achatius pulls from the hug and looks at Rose in shock and felt betrayed. He fell on his knees and screamed as his runes glowed.] 

ACHATIUS: Don't shove another daggger like that, it hurt like a bitch. 

ROSE: I am sorry, I had to. 

[Achatius felt like he was dying. Suddenly, Louis comes from behind. Achatius becomes shocked.] 

ACHATIUS: What kind of games are you playing with me? 

FINN: That was real, not a game. 

LOUIS: This isn't a game, dad. This is real. I am here with you, for you. 

[Achatius eyes showed a flick of emotions.] 

LOUIS: I came back for you but you also have to come back, for me. I want my dad back, the one who taught me to walk, to wield sword, to shoot arrows, the one who used to comfort me when Lily used to humiliate me and the one who was there for my first werewolf transition. 

[They chuckled at this.]  

Theo also laughed at this. 

LOUIS: You taught me that lives matter, even if it is a mundane or a demon and now, you are destroying it. I always idolised you, I met real angels but you were always the real angel for me. I am what I am because of you. But dad, no matter how powerful I become, I will always need my family and I need you, dad. 

They all were crying by now. Rebekah, Freya, Clary, Isabelle, Davina were a crying mess by now. 

[Achatius' eyes turn black for a split second but then, it changes to golden. The dagger in his chest disappears. Rose and Louis smile. Achatius looks around and sees, how many people he killed. He looks down in guilt.]  

STEFAN: The time when the guilt hits. 

ACHATIUS: What have I done? 

ROSE: Hey, this isn't your fault, you were not in your right mind. 

ACHATIUS: I almost killed Theo, I killed them, how all of this isn't my fault? 

THEO: None of this was your fault. 

ROSE: Remember, what you told me, when I was in your place. "We all make them, the difference is what we do after we make the mistake, how we let the mistake affect us, we let it destroy us or we see this an opportunity for a fresh start." 

They all were impressed by his thought. 

[Rose cups his face with her hands. They kiss, their wings appear and they started flying above from the ground. The golden and red hue was mixing together as their magic merges.] 

They all were mesmerized by the scene. 

FREYA: What was happening? 

[Every single person who was dead, came back to life as if nothing happened. Louis smiles seeing them.] 

DAVINA: You brought every single one of them to life. 

ROSE: We both are angels, we can bring the dead back to life.
