" True. But I was thinking... all of this craziness started the minute you bumped into him at Pandemonium. You think that's just a coincidence? " 

" Honestly, I don't even know what to think anymore. All I know is I have to get my memories back. I need to know who I really am. Maybe... " Clary inhales. " Maybe I saw where my mom hid the Cup, and... and if I could just remember... I could save her. I want to meet my sister. I just... I wanna put all of this behind me. " Clary stammers. " But I don't know this world. I don't even know where to start looking. I'm... I'm just lost. " 

" Hey... Okay. Look, start with what we know, okay? We know that dreams are remnants of memories. Right. " 

" Yeah. " 

" You saw your mom in the nightmare, before the guy was reaching into your brain. " 

" Yeah, she... She called him Magnus. I mean, it's completely random, I never... "

" I heard it from the vampire. " Simon chuckles. " You know, the shockingly hot one, it was... "  Simon stammers. " Sorry, uh, Camille... She was super pissed at this Magnus Bane guy when I told her that someone took your memories. " Clary chuckles.  

" Simon! Simon, you're amazing! You've just... You've given me my first solid lead. " 

" I did? " 

" Yeah. "

" I have to find Jace and tell him about Magnus Bane. "

" I'm such an idiot. Oh, God. " He sees his reflection in the mirror and Camille laughs. Simon gasps. 

" Your hallucinations started. " Bonnie says.

Intro of Shadowhunters is shown. ( In Teen Wolf Style. )

Rosaline opens her eyes and flashes her alpha eyes. She swings her katanas and fearless rune is showed. Theodore's magical bow appears and he stretches its string forming the strength rune. Clary is seen blowing the candles on her birthday cake forming the angelic rune. Jace is seen jumping from a building with eagles surrounding him. He jumps on the ground splashing the water which forms heightened speed rune. Alec is seen a room with healing rune drawn on one of the walls. He aims his arrow. Isabelle is now shown swinging her blade forming the parabatai rune. Simon is seen wiping the blood on his lips in hotel de mort. The whole background turns black and white. Luke is seen with a wall behind him covered with runes and wolves. Magnus is drinking his cocktail. Scene splits and shows Theo and Rose using their magic and flashing their alpha eyes. Then all the runes are shown burning and Rosaline, Theo, Clary, Jace, Alec and Isabelle are shown walking and the title Shadowhunter appears with The Mortal Instruments written below. And the screen turns black. 

Scene Changes

" Jace, I need to talk to you about something, it's really... " Clary sees Jace half naked. " Oh... Sorry, I... " Jace laughs. " I really should've knocked first. " 

" This is the second stage of a romantic story. Girl seeing a boy half naked or naked. " Caroline says and Stefan just adores her wife's cuteness. Some people laugh at Caroline's statement.

" Let me just grab a shirt. " 

" Yeah. " Clary chuckles. " Good idea. " 

" So, what's up? You wanted to see me? " 

" Yeah, um... I need you to tell me everything you know about Magnus Bane. " 

" Magnus Bane is the High Warlock of Brooklyn, why? " 

" Because that vampire, Camille, practically accused him of stealing my memories. "

" When Simon told Camille someone took my memories back at the Hotel DuMort, she blamed Magnus Bane. "

" Glad to know the feeling was mutual. I didn't trust you and you didn't trust me. " Simon sarcastically said and Jace scoffed. 

" You two still don't trust each other. " Davina said. 

" No, they just progressed from enemy to frenemy. " Theo said. 

" I believe Simon. Besides, I keep having these dreams where this Magnus guy is with my mom and she tells him to protect me. " 

" You mean, like, memory fragments? " 

" Yeah, but... " Clary sighs. " They're not making sense. " 

" Whatever, why didn't you tell me about that? " 

" Because, Jace, practically a week ago I didn't even know this world existed. Let alone that Magnus is real. " 

" Magnus' magic is so powerful, he can invade even the Silent Brothers. If he's the warlock that took your memories... he could be the key to everything. " 

" People are risking their lives to help me get my memories back. But there might not be anything there. I might not remember anything that will lead to the Mortal Cup... or my mom. " Jace inhales.  

" Clary... Believe me when I tell you that finding your memories is our only shot at getting the Mortal Cup back. " Clary whispers. 

" But... " 

" Look at me... I'm willing to take that chance on you. " 

" You two are cute. " Hope said. 

Isabelle comes in. 

" Jace, I need you. The mundie's leaving. " 

" Simon? He can't leave. " 

" He can and he is. Unless you wanna tie him down and restrain him? " Clary scoffs.

" Izzy, go wake Alec and Hodge. We might have a lead on the Mortal Cup. " Jace sighs. " How can one mundane be such a pain in my ass? " 

Laughter erupted in the hall due to this statement. 

" Simon, what are you doing? " 

" I already told Isabelle, they can't keep me prisoner here. " 

" Prisoner? Wait, what... Simon! Where are you going? " 

" I'm going home, Clary. And if you haven't already completely drunk their Kool-Aid, then you're coming with me. "

" In fact, this is the safest place she could possibly be. " Jace says.

" Magnus Bane. He's over 300 years old. And, as you can see, he's not exactly shied away from the pleasures of every century. His tastes are both exquisite... and quite excessive. " 

" He looks like the Downworld's David Guetta. " 

" David Guetta? I don't look like him. " Magnus said and Theo and Izzy chuckled. 

" Guetta's already a Downworlder. Vampire? Ever seen him in the daylight? " 

" Can you two focus? This is not a joke. " 

" Someone needs to get slayed. " 

" Alec's right. Now, Magnus is one of the most powerful warlocks I've ever known. He has a deep mistrust of Shadowhunters. " 

" Well, then why did he help my mom remove my memories? Isn't she a Shadowhunter? "  

" Yes, one of the best. But 'help' might not be the most accurate word. Now, did Magnus provide a service for Jocelyn? Perhaps. But more than likely, your mother paid Magnus handsomely for his magic. " 

" True. " Magnus said. 

" Warlocks usually require payment before they help anyone with anything. " 

" Word from the Clave is that most of the warlocks have gone into hiding since Valentine began hunting them. " 

" Valentine must be searching for the warlock, where did Jocelyn... " Hodge's rune sears

" So how do we find Magnus? " 

" We don't. Magnus finds us. We'll set up a meeting, somewhere protected. Lure him out of hiding. " 

" And I know exactly where we do it. " Hodge chuckles.  

" Isabelle, you are incredible. The only Lightwood sibling who got brains. " Achatius said and Theo and Alec glared at him and Jace, Rose and Clary chuckled. 

" A Downworld rave. " 

" Nice, Izzy. And where'd you get that? " 

" During my surveillance of the Downworlders. From what I hear, Magnus likes to party. "

" He'll never go for it. Not with Valentine trying to kill him. "

" Why haven't we found the warlock to wake Jocelyn? How is it that my most effective asset is the one that's comatose? " 

" Sir, I promise... " Valentine shushes him. 

" You know what? Your lips are moving yet I hear nothing. Wait a minute, what's that, hmm? " Valentine laughs. " Scouts from the Clave. " One of his experiment release poisonous gas and they all die also the experimented. Valentine sighs and kills him. 

" Oh my god, what the hell was that? " Rebekah said. 

" One of Valentine's experiment. " Jace said. 

" He was a loyal Shadowhunter. Fearless. Dedicated. But his death is for the best. " 

" How so? " 

" When that filthy warlock tainted Pangborn's pure Shadowhunter blood, she turned him into an abomination. At least he gave his life for the cause. " Valentine inhales. " Gather the dead Seelies, hmm? Their blood could be interesting. "

" Where the hell have you been? You're 30 minutes late and you're not responding to calls. Vargas is looking for you. "

" That's right. What are you wearing to the Downworlder party tonight? " 

" I don't know. I was just thinking about wearing this. " 

" What? No way. " Rebekah and Caroline said at the same time. Rest of them laughed at this. 

" I don't think so. No Downworlder would be caught dead in that. Plus, it's a party, not a poetry slam. " 

" She is saying the truth. You can't wear jeans top in a party. " Caroline said.  

" Well, I don't really have any party clothes with me, so... "

" Always frowning, Elias. " Magnus sighs. " You may be immortal but, mmm... you're not immune to crow's feet. " 

Some chuckled at this. 

" You cannot attend this meeting. No matter what the Shadowhunter is offering. Valentine is getting close. It is far too dangerous for you to leave the lair. " 

" I was alive when the Dead Sea was just a lake that was feeling a little poorly. While I value your counsel... so much red brick makes me feel like a caged animal. " 

" Is one necklace really worth the risk? " 

" This necklace is. This discussion is over. I will meet with Clary Fairchild and the Wayland boy. " Elias inhales deeply. " Mmm! Go to the Spiral Labyrinth and tell Tessa that we need more shields. While I'm gone, have every warlock maintain the protective wards. I may be prepared to take on Valentine... " Magnus exclaims. " ... but my guests are not. Drink up. "

" Yeah. " Alec sighed.

Some chuckles were heard.

" Well done. More like medium-rare. I'm Magnus. I don't think we've been formally introduced. " 

" Alec. " Alec stammeres " Oh, uh... We should really... You know, probably get... " 

" Right, we should join the party. "

" You liked him at the first sight. " Hayley said and Magnus nodded. 

" Magnus. " 

" Go join the others, my dear. This is no place for a little girl. Go. " Magnus sighs. " I heard what you did for Zoe. You risked your life without hesitation to save a young warlock child. " 

" She was just a girl and she was in trouble. I had no choice. " 

" You have a good heart. " Bonnie said. 

" You always have a choice. You're not like the others, Clary Fairchild. Most Shadowhunters protect Downworlders out of sense of duty, but you saved young Zoe because of what was inside your heart. You're more like your mother than you will ever know. You remind me so much of Rosaline. " 

" Magnus, please... you can't hide from this battle. Look, Valentine, he found you once, he will find you again. We need to work together. Help me. " 

" And this is the part where you agreed to help her. " Matt said and Magnus nodded. 

" I can summon the demon, but my magic is not that strong to hold it. The demon can be out of our control and will roam around freely in this world. " Magnus said.  

" So, you are saying there is no way to get my memories back without having that demon roaming around. " Clary asked him. 

" There is but I need someone else. " Magnus answered. 

" Who? " Freya asked. 

" Me. " Rose answered. 

" And who that 'someone else' might be? " Jace asked. 

" Rosaline Morgenstern, Clary's elder sister. " Magnus replied. 

" But I thought she was dead? And even if she is alive I don't know where she is? " Clary said. 

" That is not a problem because I know where she is. " Clary became shocked listening to Magnus' answer. 

" How did he knew about this all the time? " Luke asked. 

" I trusted no one else than Magnus at that time to share my location. " Rose answered. 

" What is so special about Clary's sister? I mean why she is the only one who you need? " Jace asked. 

" Because she is special, Wayland. Rosaline is a Shadowhunter, who has only Raziel's angelic blood running in her veins. She has warlock's magic, werewolf's alpha power, vampire's immortality and seelies' enchant. " Magnus answer shocked everyone in the room. 

People from The Vampire Diaries universe were also shocked. 

" You are so powerful. " Freya said. 

" There is more to that. " Theo said. 

" I thought Alpha Shadowhunter was just a legend. " Alec said. 

" No, it is not a legend. They do exist and I have met both of them. " 

" Both? There are two of them? " Izzy asked. 

" Who is the second one? " Elijah asked. 

" Me. " Theo answered. 

" Yes. Now, enough of the questions. You ready to travel dimensions. " 

" Dimensions? You mean she she is living in a whole another world. Is that even possible?  " Clary asked. 

" Yes, it is. " 

" Why? "

" I think you should ask her only. " Magnus opens the portal and they all go inside it. They all appear in front of Mystic Grills. 

" That is Mystic Grills. " Matt said. 

" Yes. " Jeremy said. 

" This place is not weird. I mean it is whole mundie. " Jace said. 

" Jace, wait. We still have our runes. " Alec says and retraces his invisibility rune. " And they work. " 

" I also have my magic. This can mean only one thing... " 

" ...this dimension is also supernatural. " Jace completes Magnus' sentence. " We cannot find her like this. We need to trace her. " 

" Yes. " Hayley said. 

" No, we don't. She is about find us. " 

" What? How? " Clary asks. 

" When I portaled us here, she would have sensed the tremendous amount of energy. Plus, she will recognize it is my magic. " Before anyone could say anything a girl in her twenties bumped her shoulder with Clary's. 

" Speaking of the devil, devil appeared. " Achatius said and Rose poked him in his guts. 

" Ow... What was that for? " He pouted and asked. Rose rolled her eyes. 

" I am sorry. " Clary apologized. 

" Don't be. It was my mistake also. " That girl was still looking downwards grabbing her belongings. The girl stood up with her back facing Magnus, Izzy, Alec and Jace. 

" Who you might be? I have never seen you before? " The girl asked. 

" You recognized me as you saw. " Clary said. 

" Yes. " Rose answered. 

" Uh... I am... Clary. Clary Fray. " Clary forwarded her hand. The girl shook it. 

" Roseline Morgenstern. Nice to meet you sister. " Rose said and Clary was shocked to see her sister. This drew the attention of rest of them. 

" You recognized me. " Clary said in shock. 

" Of course, little sister. Who do you think named you? Clarissa. " Magnus eye's were now welled up, seeing her adopted sister after so many years. 

" Petal. " He managed to utter only this word. 

" Cat eyes. " Rose hugged Magnus. " I missed you. " 

" I missed you too, Petal. " Shadowhunters were surprised to see Magnus and Rose's bond. 

" You two are pretty close. " Elijah said. 

" They are brother sister not by blood but by heart. " Theo said and Magnus and Rose smiled. Elijah felt a little hurt because he used to have this bond with Rose. 

" Okay, as much as I love this reunion. " Rose sighs. " But I hate to break it we have to carry it somewhere else. " Magnus nodded and with a snap of Rose's fingers, they were inside an apartment. " Now, I am sure, something big has happened and you want my help. So, tell me what happened. " Her voice now held firmness. 

" Valentine kidnapped my... our mother and now he wants to find the mortal cup. " Clary answers. 

" So, that bastard still lives. " Rose was feeling anger rushing through her veins. 

" You hate him. " Jace spoke in realisation. 

" And who you might be? " Rose asked. 

" Jace Wayland. But why do you hate Valentine so much? " 

" Oh, trust me, I hate Valentine more than anyone else. " She inhales deeply. " I know we Shadowhunters have trust issues and we don't trust anyone so easily. So, instead of telling you all, let me just show you. "

" You don't need to do this Rose. " Magnus tried to stop her. 

" Trust me Magnus, I will be fine. " She assured him. Rose used her magic and they all as their astral projections get pulled into the memory. 

" What was that? " Stefan asked. 

" She pulled them into her memory. " Achatius answered. Maryse covered Max's eyes. 

They see Rose full of anger, storming into a building with her swords. At the gate two rogue Shadowhunters try to stop her way. She flashes her alpha eyes and stabs both of them with the sword. She runs towards the staircase. Another circle member was standing there and tries to attack her but she slashes his neck and blood drops fall over her face. Listening noises, three Shadowhunters came downstairs. She kicks the first one in his stomach and he falls down. Second one, launches himself at her. Rose grabs his hand and breaks his bone and then, stabs him in the stomach. The third one tries to attack her with blade but she bends and throws him down. She climbs upstairs and more rogue Shadowhunters try to block her way. But one by one she kills them all. By now she was all covered by blood.

" You were covered in so much blood. " Jeremy said. Rest of them were in shock to see Rose like this. 

 She reaches the third floor and sees Theo lying on the floor covered with blood. She drops her blades and runs toward him. 

Rose clutched Achatius' shoulder and Maryse hugged Luke. Tears were already in their eyes. Jonathan's grip was already tight on Theo's hand as if he was going that very moment. 

" Theo, look at me. Who did this? " Theo was unable to answer as he was groaning in pain. She grabs one of his and is pulled into a vision. She sees Valentine stabbing Theo in heart. She gasps. " You are gonna be alright. Please hold on. " Hot tears were streaming down her cheeks. 

" Rose, you... need to... listen to me. Valentine... has Jonathan and in a vision... I saw that building burning. Save... Jonathan. Go. " Theo speaks with difficulty. 

" I will save him. We will save him. " She grabs her stele and tries to activate his healing rune. " Why the hell, isn't this working? You... are not... gonna leave me. Please. " Her voice cracks. 

By this everyone had tears in their eyes. 

" In aeternum et in unum " Theo says. 

" In aeternum et in unum " Rose repeats the words and Theo draws his last breathe. She sees her parabatai rune fading. 

" Relax, Johnathan, I am not going anywhere. " Theo tried to calm Johnathan. 

" No... No... no. " She screams and blasts a very powerful energy which kills four rogue Shadowhunters who just came there. She stands up, tears are still flowing down her cheeks. She uses her magic and disappears Theo's body. She makes a portal and walks into it. 

Many of them were shocked to see the amount of power she has. 

She sees the house burning in fire. And now tears were uncontrollably rolling down her cheeks. She runs towards the front door and tries to enter but she sees something is holding her. It was Magnus' magic. Magnus pulls Rose from there. 

" You were seriously gonna enter that house? " Achatius and Klaus shouted at the same time. 

" Jonathan. " Rose screams and sobs in Magnus' chest. He tries to calm her. 

And the memory ends here. Magnus and Rose still had tears in their eyes. Clary hugs Rosaline. 

" Valentine killed your parabatai. It all makes sense why you hate him so much. " Jace says. 

" I am sorry. We made you relive that memory. Loosing your parabatai is not easy. The pain must have been unbearable. " Izzy said. 

" Don't be sorry. " Rose said. 

" But who is Jonathan? " Clary asked and Rose inhaled deeply. 

" Jonathan Christopher Morgenstern, our brother. " Clary gasped. 

" I had a brother. " Tears were now streaming down her cheeks. " And he is dead because of Valentine. I can't believe this. " Clary sighed. 

" But you are alive. " Elena said. 

" I survived the fire. " Jonathan answered. 

" Wait, the boy, your parabatai, I have seen his face somewhere. I have seen his photo with my mother. " Alec says. Rose looks at him in surprise and notices a ring. 

" You recognized the family heirloom. " Maryse said. 

" Yes. " Rose answered. 

" You are a Lightwood. " She said in realisation. 

" Yes, actually we both are. But how do you know? " Isabelle asked. 

" Your ring. " She pointed on Alec's ring. " You both don't know. " 

" What, do we not know? " Alec asked. 

" My parabatai was Theodore Jackson Lightwood, your elder brother. " 

" I am sorry. I didn't tell you. " Maryse apologized. 

" What? We had an elder brother? " Izzy asked in shock. 

" Yes, you had. Maryse didn't tell you. " Rose said. 

" And Valentine killed him. " Alec said, whose shock by now has turned into anger. " And mom and dad didn't find this important to tell us. " 

" Gives us more reasons to kill Valentine. " Jace said. 

" I don't know, why they lied to you both but one thing I can say one thing your brother isn't dead, yet. " Magnus eyes widened. 

" You are resurrecting him. " Magnus said in realisation. 

" What? " All the witches shouted at the same time. 

" But how is that even possible? " Jace asked. 

" It is. Theo and I had the strongest parabatai bond, ever in the history of Shadowhunters. And through that bond I can resurrect him without any repercussions with the help of a little warlock magic. Sure it takes time but is possible. And he would be waking up any minute. " She said shocking everyone there. She snapped her finger and Theo's body appeared in front of them. The parabatai rune was appearing on his and Rose's body. Theo wakes up with a gasp. 

" I can't believe you have this much power. " Freya said. 

" So, seeing that I am here, alive, back from dead, anyone wants to fill me in. " Theo says but instead of a reply he receives a hug from Rose. 

" I lost you once, now don't do anything stupid again, especially getting yourself killed for me. " Rose said. 

Rose and Theo smiled at this. 

" I won't promise. " He breaks the hug and sees Magnus. " Magnus, I missed you. " 

" I misses you too, joker. " Magnus said hugging Theo. He sees Clary. 

" Clarissa. " He said and got a confirmation nod from Rose and he hugs her. " Obviously, you won't remember me. I was your talking buddy when you were in mama's womb. " Clary chuckled. " You look like her only. " 

" Mama? " Clary asked. 

Clary, Rose and Theo's eyes again got wet on the mention of Jocelyn. 

" Mom and Theo are pretty close. He loves her like her own mom and she loves Theo like her own son. " Rose explained them and Theo's gaze fell over Alec and Izzy. He felt an unexplainable connection with them. 

" You two, why am I feeling this family bond with you? " Theo asked pointing over Izzy and Alec. 

" Because you are our brother. " Alec answered and suddenly felt a pair of warm hands wrapping around his chest pulling. He could stay forever like that. Theo gestured Isabelle to join the hug. And she gladly joined the embrace. Rest of them were watching this sibling reunion with smile. 

" So, care to fill me in? " Theo said breaking the hug. They tell him the whole story. 

" So, Valentine has mama and he wants to find the mortal cup, which mama hid somewhere. Now, Magnus took Clary's memories and fed it to a demon. And Clary might know where the cup is. So, Magnus wants our help to hold the demon when he summons him. So, pretty faces, when do we start? " Theo ended the sentence with a smirk. 

" You just left, Evelyn. You should have at least told us. " Caroline said. 

" I am sorry. Things went too fast, I didn't had time to explain. " Rose said. 

Magnus portaled them back to that place. 

" We can summon the demon but you must make the demand, Clary. Now, I warn you... retrieving your memories will not be easy. " 

" I will do what I have to do. " Clary said and Rose nodded. 

" All right. But we're not safe here. The lair's location has been compromised. Hold tight, everyone, we're about to move. " Magnus changes the location to his apartment. 

Scene Changes

Simon calls Clary. Clary on voicemail: Hey, it's Clary. Leave a message. 

" Hey, it's me. I just... I want to flat-out say I'm sorry. I feel like crap for leaving you with Jace and those guys. I don't know. Ever since we ditched those vampires, I've been feeling like crap a lot lately. It's... these waves... " Simon stammeres. " They hit me and I can't think straight. " Simon sighs. " I don't know, it's probably just the flu. Anyway... Clary, you... You're the last person I'd ever want to leave in this world. I'm so, so sorry. Call me back. Let me know you're okay. Bye. " Simon sighs deeply. 

Scene Changes

" Ah, much better. Ugh, it's inevitable. After each move, I get the itch to redecorate. Normally, I love a dirty lair, but this is one is just sloppy. I believe in payment for services rendered. Thank you for defending the warlocks. "  

" I couldn't. " Isabelle says. 

" Oh, but you could. And you should. The Lightwoods have been wearing this for years. Besides, this would look silly on your brothers. " Izzy chuckles and Theo glares Magnus. " About Alec, is he more of a flower or cologne man? " Izzy chuckles.  

" You asked Izzy. " Alec said. 

" Yes. " Magnus said and the rest of them chuckled. 

" Okay, so how do we summon the memory demon? " 

" Are you certain? Summoning such a powerful demon could be lethal. " 

" I'll do anything to save my mother. Plus, I have my sister to help me and just got a protective big brother. Where is the demon? " 

" True. " Theo said. 

" She is right, Magnus. I will protect my sister. "

" Okay. Pretty boy, get your team ready. " 

" You know what to do. " 

" I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to... you. " 

" Oh my god, your face. " Achatius said and the rest of them burst into laughters. 

" Come with me. Everyone wants the Mortal Cup. Don't trust anyone, especially not the Clave. " 

" Then why should I trust you? " 

" You shouldn't. Only trust yourself. " 

" These chalks are beautiful. What are they for? " 

" They indeed are. " Hope said. 

" If a person wants their memories returned, they must draw the heptagram to summon the demon. I can walk you through it, if you like. " 

" I can help you, sister, after all this is my area of interest. " Roses says. 

" Summoning demon? " Clary asks and Rosaline chuckles. 

" No. " Theo said and chuckled. 

" No, painting is my area of interest. " Rosaline says. 

" You also like painting? " 

" Actually, this runs in your family, Clary. " Theo answers. 

" I got this. " 

" Rosaline... prepare Clary as best you can. " 

" The memory demon is a Greater Demon. " 

" The rune will be far more powerful than anything you've faced so far. " 

" Do it. " 

" This might sting. " Rose draws the rune and Clary screams in pain. 

" That hurt like a bitch. " Clary said but instantly realised her mistake. " Sorry, Max. "

Scene Changes

" Jocelyn was right, your artistry is beyond compare. Though, Rosaline is an exception. " 

" He is right. It's beautiful. " Klaus complimented. 

" Thanks. " Clary said. 

"  I don't know about that. " 

" Oh, the only other person I've known who could draw as well except you two was Michelangelo, who was excellent in bed, I might add. " Isabelle and Theo laugh. " Okay. We're ready. Everyone take your rightful place on the heptagram. " 

" Um... " 

" Here. " 

" Thanks. " 

" We must initiate a bond. Once this bond is sealed, it cannot be broken until the demon retreats. No matter what happens, we must not let go of each other's hands. " 

Magnus and Alec join hands. A low boom occurs. Alec and Jace join hands. Again a boom occurs. Jace and Clary join hands. Magnus and Theo join hands. Theo and Rose join hands. Rose and Izzy join hands. Clary gasps and Izzy scoffs and Theo smirks. 

" You people are pathetic. " Izzy and Clary join hands. Whispering continues.  

" I will lead the ceremony, and you all must do exactly as I say. The demon's name is Valak. And at some point, he will ask for payment in exchange for Clary's memories. " 

" What do you mean? What kind of payment? " 

" We will see. " 

" Let us begin. " Manus, Rose and Theo speak Chthonian. 

" The necklace. It's pulsing. " Wind rushes and the creature growls. 

" Valak is among us. Do not break the bond. " Theo says.

" Hold on! " 

" I'm trying. " 

" It is time, the demon demands payment. What does it want? " 

" We must each relinquish a beloved memory of the one we love the most. " First Izzy relinquish the memory of Alec. Clary relinquish the memory of Jocelyn. Alec relinquish the memory of Jace. Alec grunts. Rose and Theo hold the demon. 

" No, it's not true! The demon deceived me! " 

" You were going to break the bond. " Rebekah said. 

" Yeah. " Alec said. 

" Do not break the bond! " 

" Alec, it's okay! " 

" No! " Alec breaks the bond. 

" Alec! " 

" No! " Magnus shouts. Demon throws all of them except Theo and Rose. They try to hold him.  

" Holding him was very difficult. Especially, when I was newly resurrected and Rose taped into her magic again after so many years. " Theo said. 

" We cannot contain the demon much longer! " Rose shouts. 

" No! " The creature captures Alec. Alec groans and the creature roars. The demon also holds Jace.  

" This was not going to end well. " Stefan said. 

" Jace! Grab him! Grab him! " 

" Hold on! " 

" The demon is growing stronger! " 

" He's slipping! " 

" Clary! Brother! Help us! " 

" The last option is killing the demon. " Rose shouts. She is still trying to hold the demon. 

" Clary, if you kill the demon, your memories will be lost forever! " 

" Help us! " Clary kills the demon. Everybody falls on the ground. Rose and Theo try to catch their breathe as they pant. 

" Jace... Oh, my God, Jace. " 

" Jace, get up. " 

" Is he gonna be all right? " 

" I don't know. Does he normally just lay like that without moving? " 

People erupted in laughter at this and Jace frowned. 

" Get up. Jace. " 

" Jace. " Jace wakes up with a gasp and coughs. He breathes heavily and weakly. 

" I'm all right. I'm all right. I'm all right. I'm just getting my second wind. " 

" There's nothing to be ashamed of, Alec. " 

" I don't know what you're talking about. " 

" You were in denial. " Bonnie said. 

" You will. " 

" Thank God, you're okay. For a second there, I thought we lost you. " Clary chuckles. 

" Remind me again, what's the, uh... What's the count on how many times I saved your life? " 

" I... I think we're even. " Jace chuckles.  

" I don't think so. " Jace coughs. 

Scene Changes. Jace knocks on the door.  

" Hey. " 

" Hey. " 

" How you doin'? " 

" I'm fine. " 

" Can I come in? " 

" Yeah. " 

" You know, that move you did... launching into the tornado, that was pretty impressive. You must have one hell of an instructor. " 

" Agreed. " Caroline said. 

" Thanks. " Clary said. 

" I didn't even know what I was doing. I just acted. " 

" Clary... you killed one of the Greater Demons. There's not a lot of Shadowhunters who can make that claim. " 

" Yeah, but in killing that demon, I lost my memories forever. Yeah. I can't believe that... I'm never gonna find my mother, am I? " 

" Hey! We will find her. I promise. Get some sleep, okay? " Jace leaves. Clary sighs. Her phone beeps.  She calls Simon, who is standing in front of HotelDuMort. 

" I should have never gone there. " Simon said. 

" Come on, Simon. Pick up! " Clary stands in front of the mirror and touches the pendant and is drawn into a vision. 

" Nice to see you, Clary. " Clary gasps. " You want your mother? Give me the Cup! " Clary gasps and breathes heavily. She throws the pendant on the bed. " Mom. "
