( A four year old Theo was picking up flowers from Fairchild Manor's garden. A four year old Rose comes there and immediately puts a blade on his neck. ) 

" Oh, I remember this. Our first meet. " Theo said. 

" You are a blondie? " Damon asked. 

" Yes, Damon. " Rose answered. 

" You put a blade on his neck? " Jonathan asked in disbelief. 

" Oh, don't ask. I thought I would be dead that day. " Theo said. 

Rose: What are you doing here? This is my land and trespassing is definitely not allowed. ( Theo removes the blade on his neck. ) 

Theo: First, I am not a trespasser. Second, I am just picking some flowers for my mother. 

Rose: First, you are a liar. Second, picking flowers is not allowed. 

" You definitely have an attitude. " Caroline said. 

Theo: I don't see a board stating this. 

Rose: Picking flowers from this garden is banned from now. 

Theo: You will stop me. 

Rose: A bit sexist don't you think. 

" Not just a bit. The whole sentence is sexist. " Rebekah said. 

( Theo grabs Rose's hand but she hits on his hand. He also hits on her hand and they continue it until, Rose hits Theo's face. ) ( He rubs his forehead. ) 

They laughed at this. 

Theo: Ow...

Rose: Never mess with a Morgenstern. 

Theo: Theodore Jackson Lightwood, won't say nice to meet you. 

Rose: Rosaline Athena Morgenstern. Hope you will learn how to treat a lady. 

" Your first meet doesn't seem so pleasant. " Clary said. 

" Agreed. " Isabelle said. 

( Jocelyn comes there. ) 

Jocelyn: Looks like you two have already met each other. 

Rose: Yes mother. 

Jocelyn: Lightwoods are staying at our place for two nights. Make Theodore comfortable here. You show him the manor. 

Theo: No, Misses Morgenstern, I am fine. 

Jocelyn: I am not listening any ifs and buts. 

Rose: As you wish mom. 

Jocelyn: Good. 

Theo: ( mumbled ) Arrogant. 

Rose: ( mumbled ) Sexist. 

" Oh god. Now, seeing this the second time I realise it is more funny from before. " Achatius said. 

" What's funny in this? " Rose asked. 

" Four year old are fighting and calling each other sexist and arrogant, I can laugh my ass off. " Achatius said.  

Theo: Rose, I... (MUMBLES INDISTINCTLY) ( He is covered in sweat. Magnus is using his magic but it is all in vain. ) 

" Your condition was very bad. " Bonnie said. 

Alec: It's not working. (GRUNTS) 

Magnus: I'm sorry, Isabelle and Alexander. Parabatai bonds are like a tether that binds two souls. Rose and Theo share emotions, instincts, strength. It's an angelic bond. My magic can only do so much. 

Isabelle: So Rose is like this, too? 

" You were going to be worse. " Achatius said. 

Magnus: Not necessarily. It appears that when Theo called out to her, part of his soul never returned. Now he's stuck, lost somewhere between himself and his parabatai. 

" That meant you could bring back that missing piece of soul, right? " Kol asked and Rose nodded.  

Alec: But if Rose brought back that missing piece of his soul... 

Magnus: We may very well have the cure. Whatever we do, we need to do it quickly. 

Isabelle: Stay with Theo. We'll go find Rose. 

Scene Changes. 

( Rose and Jace are on the shore of the sea. ) (COUGHING) (PANTING) 

Rose: Jace are you fine. 

Jace: I am fine but the poison is spreading you are weak. 

Rose: I know. We can care about it after we find Clary. 

Jace: ( He checks his pocket and does not finds his stele. ) My stele. 

Rose: ( She also checks her pocket and does not find it. ) I think I also lost it. 

" You both lost your stele. " Jonathan said. 

( They see someone's hand and assume it to be Clary. ) 

Jace: Clary? ( They run towards that direction. They see the face and see its Gretel. ) 

" It was the wolf Valentine killed. " Tyler said. 

Rose: Gretel. ( A woman comes jogging there. ) 

Woman: Hey! What's going on? ( She sees the body. ) Oh, my God. 

" This is bad. " Davina said. 

Jace: Hey, wait. Listen. This isn't what you think... 

Woman: Someone call the police! 

Rose: Please. Hey, please stop. 

Woman: Call 911! ( They run away from there. ) 

Rosaline opens her eyes and flashes her alpha eyes. She swings her katanas and fearless rune is showed. Theodore's magical bow appears and he stretches its string forming the strength rune. Clary is seen blowing the candles on her birthday cake forming the angelic rune. Jace is seen jumping from a building with eagles surrounding him. He jumps on the ground splashing the water which forms heightened speed rune. Alec is seen a room with healing rune drawn on one of the walls. He aims his arrow. Isabelle is now shown swinging her blade forming the parabatai rune. Simon is seen wiping the blood on his lips in hotel de mort. The whole background turns black and white. Luke is seen with a wall behind him covered with runes and wolves. Magnus is drinking his cocktail. Scene splits and shows Theo and Rose using their magic and flashing their alpha eyes. Then all the runes are shown burning and Rosaline, Theo, Clary, Jace, Alec and Isabelle are shown walking and the title Shadowhunter appears with The Mortal Instruments written below. And the screen turns black.

Scene Changes. 

( Clary reaches the Institute. ) 

" You were fine. " Elena said. 

Raj: Hey! Hey, no. No. You can't go in there... 

Clary: Where's Izzy? 

Raj: I'm getting Aldertree. 

Jocelyn: Clary, are you okay? 

Clary: I'm fine. Just... I need to see Izzy. 

Jocelyn: Clary, wait. 

Clary: No. 

Jocelyn: What happened? Where have you been? Where is Rose? 

Aldertree: We're all curious. Bring a change of clothes and a hot cup of tea to my office. Clary and I are gonna have a little chat. 

Clary: I just... Please, let me see Isabelle. 

Jocelyn: She's with Theo, Clary. He was trying to help me find you and Rose, and something went wrong. He's in a bad way. 

Scene Changes. 

( Simon is sleeping in a boat. ) (CELL PHONE RINGING) ( He wakes up and jumps down. ) (INHALES SHARPLY) ( He picks up the phone and listens the voice mails. ) 

Elaine: (OVER PHONE) Simon, it's Mom. I haven't heard from you in a while. I... I just wanted to make sure everything was okay. Simon, I'm really worried. I... I know you said you wanted to try living in the dorms, but I called your RA, and he said no one has seen you in weeks. What's going on? Please call me back. 

" She was really very worried. " Jeremy said. Simon sighed in sadness knowing that her mother remembers that he is dead, now. 

Simon: Oh, Mom. 

Scene Changes. 

( Luke is at the place where Gretel's body is found. ) (INDISTINCT RADIO CHATTER) 

Luke: Beati Bellicosi. 

" What does it mean? " Matt asked. 

" It means, blessed who are warlike. " Luke answered. 

Alaric: She was a sweet kid. 

Luke: No, she wasn't. She was a giant pain in my ass. I'm gonna miss her. Any leads? 

Maryse gave him a really look. 

Alaric: The witness saw a blonde male and a raven female fleeing the scene. 

Luke: Let me guess. Early 20's, covered in tats? ( Alaric shows Luke the sketches of Jace and Rose. ) Let's keep the mundanes out of this. It's better if the pack handles it. 

" That was your sketch. " Enzo said. 

Alaric: You really think they killed her? 

Luke: Rose didn't but about Jace I don't know what to believe. 

Scene Changes. 

( Jocelyn knocks on the door. ) (KNOCKING) 

JOCELYN: Isabelle? Alexander? Clary's back. 

Magnus: Oh, great. Clary's safe. We can all go home now. 

Jocelyn: Whoa. Wait, Magnus. How's he? Is he gonna be okay? 

" Now she is worried. She was the one who put him at this first. " Hayley said. 

" No, she wasn't. It was my choice. " Theo snapped at Hayley. 

Magnus: Do you remember the first thing I said to you when you brought a frightened six-year-old girl to my door? 

Jocelyn: You didn't wanna get involved in Shadowhunter business. 

Magnus: And I should've stuck to my guns. But no, I let you convince me. How many years of memory wipes was it? Twelve. 

" Oh god. " Freya said. 

Jocelyn: Look, I owe you. Let me help with Theo. He is like my son. 

Magnus: Your son... I think you've done enough. 

Jocelyn: I was only trying to find... 

Magnus: You were only trying to do what you always do. Manipulate people into helping fix problems that you created. And now Theo is paying the price for it. 

Jocelyn: That's not true. 

" She wasn't lying. In her eyes the motherly love was still there. " Stefan said. 

Magnus: Then prove me wrong. ( He shuts the door with his magic. ) 

Scene Changes. 

( Clary is in Aldertree's office. He gives her a cup of tea. )

Aldertree: It appears you've had quite the harrowing experience. Jocelyn tells me you were abducted by Dorothea Rollins, a warlock under Valentine's control. Even Rosaline was also somehow was there because of Dorothy. 

Clary: Uh, that's right. 

Aldertree: Did she Portal you to a tanker ship in the East River? 

Clary: I'm not sure. 

" You were planning on lying to him. " Keelin said. 

Aldertree: Three hours ago, a large tanker ship was found there, recently abandoned. By the mottoes and the insignia on the boat, it's clear the Circle was on board. If you have any information about Valentine, about Jace... you need to tell me. 

Clary: The last thing I remember is Dot grabbing me off the street and I found Rose. Then I... I woke up in the water. I was nearly run over by the Staten Island Ferry, and then I swam to shore and came here. 

" And you lied. " Kol said. 

Aldetree: If you're trying to protect your brother, lying to me is only gonna make it worse. I can guarantee Jace's safety if you help me bring him in. And that's on record. 

Clary: I would if I could, but I can't tell you what I don't know. Dot must have wiped my memory. 

Scene Changes. 

( Alec, Isabelle and clary are talking in a corner. )

Isabelle: I can't believe you lied to Aldertree. 

Clary: I couldn't let him go after Jace like he did before. 

Alec: So Dot took down the wards and you three jumped off the ship together? 

Clary: Yeah, but as soon as we hit the water, the tide was so strong. We lost each other... I looked everywhere. I couldn't find them. 

" Same happened with them. " Elena said. 

Alec: I can sense it Jace is on land but I am not able to find his location. 

Clary: Valentine must be behind this. Wait, if Theo and Rose are going through the same thing, she wouldn't be able to swim. She could be... 

Isabelle: No. Rose is alive. 

Alec: If she were dead, Theo's parabatai rune would have faded. Maybe she and Jace are together and he saved her. 

Isabelle: That's a possibility. 

Clary: So that's good news, right? If somehow you can track Jace we will find Rose. 

Isabelle: Yeah. But I don't know how much time Theo has left. (SIGHS) Rose might be his only hope, and for all we know Valentine and the Circle have already found them. 

Clary: Look, Isabelle... Jace and Rose are the strongest persons I know. We're gonna find them. I promise. (SIGHS) 

Scene Changes. 

( Jace and Rose entered a bar. ) (INDISTINCT RADIO CHATTER) 

Maia: Well, you two look like you could use a drink. And a towel. 

" Who is she? " Matt asked. 

" Maia Roberts, she is a werewolf and my ex. " Simon said. 

Jace: Just, um... Just your phone? 

Maia: I'd ask what happened to yours, but I'm guessing it got wet. 

Rose: It's a long story. 

Maia: Well, I'm stuck here all night, and besides, I hear Shadowhunters love to hear themselves talk. What, you didn't think I would recognize those runes on the back of your neck? 

Jace: You're a werewolf. 

Maia: Typically, the phone is for paying customers, but I'm feeling generous, so... ( She passes two beer glasses and phone. ) On the house. 

Rose: Thank you. (CLEARS THROAT) 

Maia: Maia. It's nice to meet you two. 

Scene Changes. 

Clary: We need to find something of Jace's. Luke already told us Jace and Rose were together seen. 

Isabelle: Don't bother. Aldertree already has people tracking him 24/7. 

Alec: Rose must be using a rune to block it, and Jace can not be tracked, otherwise somebody would've found them by now. ( They open the door. ) 

Clary: Has he been in there with Theo the whole time? 

Theo smiled at the efforts Magnus made. 

Alec: He's the only reason Theo still has a chance. 

Isabelle: But his magic can't last forever. Sooner or later, he's gonna burn out. (CELL PHONE RINGING) Hello? 

Jace: Izzy, it's me. 

Isabelle: Jace. Are you okay? (STAMMERS) ( Alec takes the phone. ) 

Jace: I'm a little soggy, but I'll live. 

Alec: Jace, is Rose there with you? 

Jace: Yes, she is here. Look, is Clary... 

Alec: She's here. She's safe. ( Clary takes the phone. ) 

Clary: Jace, it's me. We need to get Rose to Theo. ( Rose listens this and takes the phone. )

Rose: What do you mean? Why? 

Clary: He tried tracking you with his parabatai rune, but now, it's like he's stuck in some kind of nightmare and can't wake up. He was looking for you, so you're the only one who can help him. 

Rose: Okay. I'll... I'll get there. 

Jace: You are weak because of the poison. You can't reach there alone. I will also come. 

" The Clave wanted you dead. " Elijah said. " Still you wanted to risk your life. " 

" Till that time, Theo became family. And risks are worth taking if it's for family. " Jace answered. 

Clary: But you can't. The Clave still wants you dead. 

Jace: Yeah, well, who doesn't? They can get in line. ( Alec takes the phone. )

Alec: Meet us at Magnus'. We'll figure out how to get Theo there. 

Jace: Okay. we'll get there as soon as we can. ( Line ends. ) 

Maia: All good? 

Jace: Yeah. Thank you. 

Maia: Didn't seem good. 

Rose: It's nothing you need to worry about. 

Maia: Cool, 'cause we could use your help. Shadowhunters help. You see Taito back there? The Circle took his goddaughter. Right in front of him. So I was hoping maybe you could help him out. 

" He was Gretel's godparent. You are screwed, mate. " Kol said. 

Jace: We... we wish we could. 

Maia: You have something better to do? 

Jace: It's not like that. 

Maia: I'm still waiting for an explanation. 

Rose: We can't. We're sorry. 

Maia: You need to do your job, Shadowhunters. You're supposed to protect us. 

Rose: My brother needs me. 

Jace: We just... we just need to go. ( They were about to leave but Taito blocks their way. ) 

Taito: I think he is the one that needs protecting. This is the guy who kidnapped Gretel. 

Rose: Look, we don't wanna hurt anyone, okay? 

Maia: That's too bad. 'Cause we do. (GROWLING) 

Jace: Look... ( They both fight the werewolves. ) (BOTH GRUNTING) Really? (GROANS) (GRUNTING) ( They fight the werewolves together. ) ( Taito breaks every wine bottle with his face. Jace takes the last bottle and slams at Taito's head. ) Damn it. 

" That wasn't working. " Hope said. 

Rose: Jace... (BOTH GRUNTING) ( Taito throws Jace out of the window. Rose fights the werewolf and slams his head in the table. She runs outside the shop. ) (GROANING) ( They both run from there. ) 

" You both were badly injured. " Bonnie said. 

Scene Changes. 

Simon: Hey, Mom. Just got your messages. Just wanted to let you know I'm not dead, so, uh, don't call the police. Um... I know you're upset that we haven't talked in a while, so I was thinking of stopping by the house. Hopefully you're home. ( He sees someone vamp sped. ) That's it. Bye. 

Raphael: Going home? 

Simon: Just a detour. My mom's called me, like, 30 times. I just have to tell her that my band went on tour, and I'll be right back on Camille. You know, if you spent the amount of time looking for Camille that you spend telling me to look for her, you'd probably have found her by now. 

Raphael: I don't think you understand the gravity of the situation. I've got the whole clan searching, but she's your sire. 

Simon: But there are others, right? I can't be the most qualified vampire Camille's turned. 

" You had a point. What happened to other her other sires? " Rebekah asked. 

" They sided with Camille. " Simon answered. 

Raphael: No, but sadly, you're the only one left. All the other vampires she sired have joined her side. There's a civil war brewing, and Camille is gaining power. 

Simon: I'll be right back on Camille as soon as I deal with my family. 

Raphael: We are your family now. 

Simon: And what? Just supposed to forget my mom? Your mom? 

Raphael: Your mom will grow old while you stay the same. And eventually she'll be gone. Sooner or later, even your memories of her will fade, whether you want them to or not. 

" And look who was saying this. " Rose said confusing the rest. 

Simon: No. That won't happen. Not to me. 

Raphael: Keep telling yourself that. 

( Simon reaches his home. ) (DOOR OPENS AND CLOSES) 

Simon: Mom? (KNOCKING) Anybody home? (INDISTINCT CHATTER ON TV) ( He sees the bottle of Vodka. ) Oh, no. 

Scene Changes. 

( The Institute is shown. )

Clary: How are we gonna get Theo to Magnus' apartment? Aldertree has people everywhere. 

Isabelle: Not a problem. My parents want to get Theo to Idris. 

Alec: Magnus will create a Portal. We'll take it to Jace and Rose instead. (CELL PHONE RINGING) 

" It won't be that easy. " Damon said. 

Clary: Hey, Simon. 

Simon: (SHUDDERING) Clary, my mom's missing. She's drinking again. 

Clary: Oh, no. 

Simon: It's all my fault. She's been sober ever since that bender she went on after Dad died, but I found a bottle of vodka in her bedroom, and there hadn't been alcohol in the house for years. Clary, if anything happened to her because of me, I... (SIMON STAMMERING) 

Simon just sighed. 

Clary: Simon, slow down. How long has your mom been gone? 

Simon: (SIGHS) I don't know. I tried calling, but she won't pick up. I don't know where she is. Clary, I need your help. 

Clary: Hang on. Izzy, Alec, Simon needs me but I can't also leave Theo. 

Isabelle: (SIGHS) Don't worry. Be there for your friend. Magnus, Alec and I have everything under control. 

Clary: Thanks, Izzy. Please call me if you get anything. 

Isabelle: Okay. 

Clary: I'm on my way. And Simon, grab something of Elaine's. Something important to her. 

Simon: Uh... Okay, I got just the thing. ( He takes the pendant. ) 

Scene Changes. 

( Luke is meeting Maia. He shows her the sketches of Jace and Rose. )

Luke: Look familiar? 

Maia: Yeah, they're prettier in person, but that's the guy and girl. Should have never let them get away. 

Taito: After what he did to Gretel, I vote we return the favor. To the girl also, she was protecting him. 

Luke: This is not a democracy. Nobody kills anybody until I say so. 

Maia: Oh, he can, but we can't? 

Luke: That's not what I said. 

Maia: He kidnapped her. What more evidence do you need? 

Taito: I was there. 

Maia: And the witness found them standing over the body in the morning. I mean, you're the detective. Isn't that what you call an open-and-shut case? 

Luke: No, it's not. Jace and Rose are too smart to leave a body laying around. And I know Rose better than anyone. If she is saving Jace, there must be a reason behind it. 

Rose smiled at this. 

Taito: Whose side are you on? 

Luke: I'm on the side of the law. 

Taito: Whose law? 

Maia: Chill, Taito. I think we've had enough bar fights for one day. 

Luke: I know the rules. Blood for blood. If Jace is really doing Valentine's dirty work and still Rose is saving him, I'll kill them myself. 

Scene Changes. 

( Jocelyn, Magnus, Alec and Isabelle were there. )

Theo: In aeternum et in unum. 

" What was he mumbling? " Jeremy asked. 

" Together and Always. " Klaus answered. 

" Our vow. " Achatius said. 

Jocelyn: It's okay, Theo. You hear me? We're gonna get you out of here and bring you back. ( She said in tears.) 

Theo was now having mixed emotions, happiness because his mama cared for him so much and sadness because she wasn't alive. 

Alec: Oh please don't shower your motherly love which is fake. 

Jocelyn: Theo is my son. 

Alec: Right like Jace is your son and you were trying to kill him. Just like that you manipulated my brother to do this thing, so that he will also be dead. 

Jocelyn: Alec, it's... ( Aldertree comes there. ) 

Aldertree: You put in a request to transfer your brother to Idris? 

Isabelle: Our parents put in the request. 

Aldertree: Theo isn't leaving this institute. I'm sure his warlock friend can figure something out. Here. 

Magnus: This isn't waking Sleeping Beauty with a kiss. Runic power is deep. It requires magic that can't be accessed in the walls of this institute. 

Aldertree: I don't know what you're up to, and, ultimately, I don't care. But as far as I'm concerned, your brother is too weak to be Portaled. 

" He was using him as a bait to arrest Jace. " Caroline said. 

Alec: You're just using Theo as bait to arrest Jace. 

Aldertree: No, I'm working to capture the fugitive because of whom all this happened and put Theo in this position. I have allowed this warlock into the Institute for the sole purpose of treating your brother. Although, you don't seem to be doing too good a job of it. I'm placing Raj by the door. Do not try this again. ( He leaves from there. ) 

Raj: I'm just under orders. 

Isabelle: Shut up, Raj. (SIGHS) ( Magnus is using his magic. ) 

( They are standing in a warehouse. Rose and Theo are of seven years. They were ready with their weapon. )

Young Rose: Almost there. (ELECTRICITY CRACKLING) 

Young Theo: We can't get cocky. 

Young Rose: What do you mean "we"? Wait, you think I'm cocky? (CHUCKLES) It's not my fault that I'm naturally gifted. And plus, I am a Morgenstern, you know the famous Morgenstern swagger. 

They chuckled at this. 

Young Theo: I think it's Morgenstern arrogance. You know what make us a great team. I draw them out, and you... ( A demon was there. ) (GROWLING) ( Rose throws her daggers at the demon. ) 

Rose: Do all the work? You know I don't like to get my hands dirty for someone else

(CHUCKLES) ( The projection clears out. ) 

" It was just a projection. " Elena said. 

Young Theo: I know. But like I said... we make a great team. The best team. 

Young Rose: You realize that this is our final test, right? I mean why are they even taking tests. We killed handful of demons last week alone. 

Young Theo: We are the best. And once we get our parabatai runes, we'll officially be brother and sister. Nothing can change that. 

Young Rose: Yes. Hey, let's go tell Mom. 

Young Theo: Yeah, sure. Mama will be happy to listen this. 

Young Rose: Dad is even throwing a party. (CHUCKLES) 

They just sighed remembering those happy memories. 

Young Theo: Today is gonna be fun. Let's go. 

(GASPING SOFTLY) 

Scene Changes. 

( Jace and Rose were bleeding and running in the streets. Rose starts coughing blood. ) (GROANING) (GRUNTING) 

" It was getting worse and worse. " Freya said. All of them were very concerned. 

Jace: You okay? 

Rose: Uh...The poison it's spreading. 

Jace: Is there a way to stop it? 

Rose: Yes, there is. A warlock can take out this poison. But when we don't have magic, this works. ( She shows him a dagger. ) 

" Thank god, you still had that dagger. " Achatius sighed in relief. 

Jace: What's this? 

Rose: It can cut out the poison. You have to stab this in my neck and it will collect the poison. When, all the poison is out the blade will change it's colour. 

Jace: Okay. ( He stabbed her neck with the knife. ) ( Rose grunts. ) ( The knife was changing its colour until it turns complete black. ) 

Rose: It's done. Take it out. ( Jace takes the knife out and gives it back to Rosaline. ) 

Jace: Let's go. ( They again started running. They hear Maia's voice. ) 

Maia: You can't hide your scent, Shadowhunters. 

" She was still following you two. " Enzo said. 

(GRUNTS) (GROANS) ( A man sees both of them and crowd starts forming around the two. ) 

Man: You two okay? You okay? I'm calling 911. 

Jace: No. No, don't. Please. 

Man: Don't worry, pal. You two are gonna be okay. Yeah, hi, I need an ambulance. This guy and girl are bleeding real bad. I'm at the Union Street station... (GRUNTING) Subway entrance. Looks like they were in an accident. (GRUNTING SOFTLY) ( They both faint. ) ( They are taken to a hospital. )

Doctor: Room four, stat! (GROANING) 

Rose: I'm okay. 

Doctor: She's waking up! 

Rose: I gotta get to my brother. 

Doctor: Give her ten milligrams of morphine. 

Rose: You don't understand. He's gonna die. 

Nurse: My job is to save you, not your brother. 

Rose: No... No... ( Both of them are taken inside the room. ) 

Scene Changes. 

( Clary and Simon are trying to find Simon's mother. )

Simon: Anything? (SIGHS) 

Clary: Sorry. I'm still figuring out this tracking stuff. You know, Isabelle says I need to clear my mind, but it's kinda hard to be Zen when you're a Shadowhunter. 

" True. When you are new it feels like that only. " Achatius said. 

Simon: If only I'd checked in, called every once in a while instead of totally avoiding her. 

Clary: Well, maybe it's worth telling her the truth. 

Simon: What? Come out of the coffin? Do you have any idea how she'll react? 

Clary: Well, there's only one way to find out. 

Simon: (STAMMERS) I don't know, Clary. It's a lot to wrap your head around. 

Clary: Simon. Don't forget, okay? This is the woman who put up with your endless band practices, your incurable hypochondria... (CHUCKLES) who made you those gross mustard sandwiches when you refused to eat anything else. If she can accept you for all that, I'm pretty sure she can accept you for who you are. Okay? 

Simon: You know, mustard is actually high in antioxidants. (CHUCKLES) It's actually pretty good for you. And the white bread... ( Clary gets the location of Simon's mom. )

" You found her. " Keelin said. 

Clary: Simon. Simon, I feel her. She's this way, come on! 

Simon: Yeah, yeah. (CLARY PANTING) 

Scene Changes. 

( Magnus is trying to use his magic. Jocelyn is sitting besides him. ) (THEO GRUNTING)  

Theo: No. What have I done? I...

Jocelyn: Theo? (INHALES SHARPLY) ( Magnus breaks a vase in frustration. ) 

Raj: You know you're gonna have to clean that up? I feel you, man, but I have direct orders. If you can't help him, then you need to go. 

Magnus: My magic is the only thing keeping Theo from completely slipping away. I won't leave. 

Jocelyn: Magnus is not leaving. 

Raj: I know you're old, but I didn't realize you were hard of hearing. He's clearly not waking up any time soon, so you can leave now, or I can remove you myself... 

" He was getting you angry. " Caroline said. 

( Magnus uses his magic to choke Raj. ) (CHOKING) 

Magnus: I'm sorry. I don't like being rushed. (GROANS) 

Jocelyn: Magnus, leave him. ( Magnus throws him over the wall. ) ( Isabelle and Alexander come in the room. ) 

Alec: Magnus, stop. We need to get Theo out of here, but this isn't helping. 

Jocelyn: I need to find Rosaline, it's getting too late. ( She leaves from there. )

Scene Changes. 

(EKG MONITOR BEEPING) 

Doctor: This can't be right. 

Nurse: I'm telling you, I ran the blood work three times. Whatever's going on with this guy and the girl, it's not normal. ( They see the blood sample's. Jace and Rose wake up. ) 

" They saw your blood samples. " Klaus said. 

Rose: You all right. 

Jace: Yeah. We have to get out of here. 

Doctor: I'll take a look. Excuse me. ( Luke comes with Maia. ) 

Nurse: Officer? 

Luke: ( He shows her the sketches. ) Any chance you've seen them? We got a tip that he might be in the ER. 

Nurse: Over there. They came in a few hours ago. But we still need to run a few tests before we can clear... 

Luke: It's okay. We just wanna have a quick chat. ( They open the room and see no one there. ) (SIGHS) Look around. They're gotta be here somewhere. ( Maia comes in the direction where they both were but they were disguised as doctors. ) ( They remove the coats and start to walk away from there. ) ( The nurse spots them and Maia listens her. )

Nurse: Hey, you two! What do you think you're doing? Look, I'm sorry about your brother, but I already told... 

" She found you. " Elena said. 

Rose: You don't understand. We gotta get out of here right now. 

Nurse: You're not going anywhere. (BONES CRACKING) ( Maia was shifting into a werewolf. )

" She was shifting. " Tyler said. 

With the amount of blood you two have lost, you're lucky to be alive. (GROWLING) If you'd gotten to us a few hours later, you'd be... (GROWLING CONTINUES) What the hell is that sound? ( She turns around and sees Maia in wolf form. ) (GASPS) Oh, my God. (GROWLING) 

Jace: Let the mundane go. You have every reason to want me dead, but if you just let me explain, I... ( Maia follows them and they both run from there. They climb the stairs and found the terrace door locked. Maia comes after them. ) 

" You were stuck. " Kol said. 

( Jocelyn comes and saves both of them. ) (SNARLING) (PANTING) (GRUNTS) (GRUNTS) 

Jocelyn: Jonathan. Rosaline. 

Jace: How'd you find us? 

Jocelyn: I followed the wolves. I am here to help. Rose, Theo needs you. If you don't reach in time, he will die. 

Rose: Like you did last time when you shot an arrow at his head? I love those maternal instincts, but I don't trust you anymore. 

Rosaline sighed remembering how she acted with her mother in her last days. 

( Jocelyn looks toward Jace. ) 

Jocelyn: Jonathan... 

Jace: It's Jace. 

Jocelyn: I'm so sorry. What your father did to you, the choices I had to make... (POLICE SIRENS APPROACHING) 

Jace: Yeah, well, I guess we both drew the short straw. Life lesson, don't fall in love with the devil, right? 

Jocelyn: And you two have suffered the most. I can't change what happened. Just let me help you get back to Theo. 

Rose: (SCOFFS) And then what? You will send him back to the Clave, who wants him dead? ( She starts coughing and felt light-headed. )  

Jocelyn: The Clave can be reasoned with. The wolves can't. Just let me do this thing for my daughter. You are weak you can't make it on your own. 

Rose: You know, I made it this far on my own with his help. I think I'll keep it that way. ( She leaves from there and jumps down from top. Jace follows her. ) (GRUNTING) (PANTING) 

Scene Changes. 

( Aldertree comes there. )

Aldertree: Still no improvement? 

Isabelle: Happy now? 

Aldertree: Not at all. Theo's one of our best. He is an Alpha Shadowhunter. It'd be a shame to lose him. 

Isabelle: We're not gonna lose him. 

Aldertree: So confident. Almost too confident. 

" He found out. " Jonathan said. 

( He uses the stele and Raj is revealed to be in his place. ) (SCOFFS) Well, that's unfortunate. 

Isabelle: When are you gonna realize that Jace is on our side? 

Aldertree: Our side doesn't murder werewolves. Oh. So he didn't mention that little transgression. 

Isabelle: I'm sure there's an explanation. 

Aldertree: Not according to Lucian Graymark's pack. I was hoping to protect Jace by bringing him here, but clearly you've made other plans. So now it looks like the pack will get their pound of flesh after all. 

Isabelle: How far is Luke's pack from closing in on Jace and Rose? 

Aldertree: (CHUCKLES) Why should I tell you anything? 

Isabelle: Because I know where they are. They're at Magnus' loft in Brooklyn. 

Aldertree: Well then, the wolves are close. Getting to him before they do could prove difficult. 

Isabelle: Not if you give me access to a Portal. I'll save Jace, I will save Rose and I'll save Theo. 

Aldertree: All right. But afterwards, you turn Jace over to me. Do we have a deal? 

" You did the right thing. " Caroline said. 

Scene Changes. 

( Alec is sitting beside Theo. ) (SOFTLY) 

Alec: Come back. Come back. Please come back. ( Magnus sits the other side. ) 

Theo smiled seeing his younger brother's love for him. 

Magnus: I'm all out of answers. I've tried everything. (TAKES DEEP BREATH) 

( Theo was standing on the top of terrace wall. Tears were flowing through his eyes. He takes a deep breathe and closes his eyes. ) 

" What the hell you were trying to do? " Achatius shouted. 

" You were trying to kill yourself. Why? " Maryse asked. A few questions also followed like Why? How do we not know about this? from his family. 

" I think all your questions will be answered when we watch ahead. " Theo said. 

( Rose was searching for him. She uses her parabatai bond to see where he was. ) ( She sees that he was standing on the terrace wall and was ready to jump. ) 

They just sighed in relief. 

Rose: Oh no. Theo. ( She shouts and starts climbing stairs. ) No, no, no. ( She reaches upstairs and sees Theo had already jumped down. ) Theo. ( She yells. ) ( She uses her magic to save him and brings him on the terrace. ) ( She goes towards him and slaps him on the face. ) 

" Well, you did what I want to do. " Maryse said. 

What were you thinking you were doing? Have you gone mad? 

Theo: Yes, I have definitely gone mad. ( He shouts. ) 

Rose: You were about to kill yourself. ( She shouts back. ) ( softly. ) I am not that strong Theodore. I have already lost Achatius and loosing you means I have nothing to live for. ( She was in tears. They both were. ) I can't loose you too. 

All of them were in tears now. 

" And let me guess, I was the reason. " Achatius said confusing them who didn't knew about this. 

Theo: You don't understand. Every single time I see myself in the mirror, I see a murderer. Every time I see these hands, I just see his blood on these. The guilt is eating me up. If I sleep I see him calling me a betrayer. 

" My poor child. " Maryse said. 

" You will never be a betrayer, brother. " Achatius said. " If you really jumped that day, th eguilt would have eaten me up. "

Rose: Theo... 

Theo: No, let me speak. And of course it is true. I am a bloody betrayer. A brother who broke each and every single promise. He loved me and I... ( laughs ) I return the favour by killing him, taking his life. 

" You killed him. " Hayley said in shock. Rest of them were also in the trance except the Shadowhunters who already know this. 

A parabatai who took his parabatai's every ounce of happiness. I snatched everything from you in few seconds. And yes, this who I am, the great Theodore Jackson Lightwood. ( He yells. ) And I deserve to die. 

They were feeling very bad at that moment. They had not seen Theo this much broken. 

Rose: No you don't. I don't blame you. ( She cups his face, tears streaming down from their eyes. ) 

Theo: Why not? 

Rose: You didn't had a choice. 

Theo: ( scoffs ) Everybody has a choice, Rosaline. 

Rose: Theo, we promised each other. Even when our lives are completely fucked up and every single thing is against us. we will always with each other, no matter what happens. ( They hugged. ) ( softly ) I need you my parabatai. Do you remember the day when we became parabatai? 

Theo: How can I forget that? 

" Your bond it's very pure. You both are lucky to have each other. " Rebekah said. 

Alec and Magnus watch Theo. 

Scene Changes. 

( Clary and Simon founded Elaine. ) (SIGHS) 

Simon: Clary, you did it. Thank you. Oh, um... I think this is a solo mission. A good friend of mine convinced me I should tell her the truth. 

Clary: Well, she sounds like a very smart friend. 

Simon: Who said it was a she? (BOTH CHUCKLE) 

Clary: Hey, you got this. (CELL PHONE RINGING) (CHUCKLES) ( Clary leaves from there. ) 

Isabelle: Clary, Luke's pack wants Jace and Rose dead. They think Jace killed one of their own and Rose was saving him. So, they are ready to kill her also. 

Clary: Wait, what? No, no, no. They have it all wrong. Valentine killed her. 

Isabelle: Well, nobody told them that. They're closing in on him, so I had to make a deal with Aldertree. He has a warlock creating a Portal now, but even then, I don't know if I can get to them before the pack does. 

Clary: Maybe I can. 

( Camera is focused on Simon entering the restaurant. )

Simon: Mom. 

" Thank god she was fine. " Caroline said. 

Elaine: Simon? Oh, thank God! Oh, I thought something terrible had happened. I have been looking everywhere for you. 

Simon: I'm so sorry. There's something I need to tell you about where I've been and who I am. 

Elaine: It's all right. I know. 

" She did? How? " Keelin asked. 

Simon: You do? 

Elaine: What, did you think I wasn't going to find out? 

Simon: I mean... 

Elaine: Oh, monkey, you should have told me. I've been so worried. (STAMMERS) If your band manager hadn't found me and told me everything that's been going on, I don't know what I would've done. 

Simon: My band manager? 

Elaine: Yeah. ( Raphael comes there. ) 

" Your band manager. " Stefan said. 

Raphael: Hello, Simon. 

Simon: You told my mom? 

Raphael: (SCOFFS) Of course I did. I can't believe you didn't tell her we were out on tour. 

Simon: (CHUCKLES SOFTLY) Right. I'm sorry, Mom. My phone died, among other things. 

" You lied. " Bonnie said. 

Elaine: Well, Raphael was so kind to keep me company until we found you. (CHUCKLES) 

Raphael: You know, Simon, you should take better care of your mother. It's far too late for anyone to be wandering the streets alone. I know you'd feel horrible if anything were to happen to her. 

Elaine: Oh, you're sweet, but you don't have to worry about me. Oh, sweetie, you're so pale and... Cold. Let me get you a hot drink. I'll be right back. 

Simon: Thanks, Mom. What the hell? 

Raphael: You should be looking for Camille, not your mother. 

Simon: You're threatening my family. 

Raphael: And you're threatening mine. The longer Camille is free, the more people she kills. My people. Don't make me stoop to Camille's level. Well, now that Simon's back, I think it's time I get going. 

Elaine: Really? Oh, I wish there was something I could do to thank you for everything. You know what? Why don't you join us at our house for dinner? We can talk about Simon's music career and his accounting career. 

Simon: Mom, he can't. He's extremely busy. 

Elaine: Honey, any friend of yours is a friend of ours. You are welcome at my house anytime. 

Raphael: To your home? Mmm-hmm. Well, that's a lovely invitation. I'll see you soon, Simon. ( Raphael left. ) (SIRENS WAILING) ( They reach home. )

Elaine: I'm so happy you're here... At home. 

Simon: Mom, this... This can't happen again. 

Elaine: Your, um... Your band manager seems... Nice. 

Simon: (SCOFFS) He's not. Trust me, he sucks. But I told him to put the tour on hold. From now on, I'm only doing local gigs. 

Elaine: So does that mean you're moving home? 

Simon: I want to, yeah. But I just need to, you know... Get my stuff together. 

Elaine: You promise? 

Simon: I promise. (SIGHS) 

Elaine: God, I love you, monkey. 

Simon: I love you, too, Mom. 

Elaine: Night, sweetie. 

Scene Changes. 

Clary: You have to call off the pack. You're the alpha. They'll listen to you. 

Luke: It's not that easy. The pack operates by code, blood for blood. 

Clary: But it's not Jace's fault. He was tricked into kidnapping Gretel. It was Valentine who killed her. And Rose was just saving him. 

Luke: Believe me, I know his manipulations better than anybody, but that doesn't mean... 

Alaric: Luke. 

Luke: Give me a sec. 

Clary: Please... 

Alaric: Maia's caught up to Jace and Rose. He's on Front Street heading towards the Brooklyn Bridge. 

" That's bad. " Hope said. 

Luke: That's near Magnus' loft. 

Alaric: Yeah, not near enough. Sounds like she's moving in for the kill. What do you want to do? 

Scene Changes. 

(WOLVES GROWLING) ( Jace and Rose stop. ) 

Maia: End of the line. 

Rose: (SOFTLY) So close. (SNARLING) 

Jace: And yet, so far. 

Maia: Gretel was our pack member. And she was my friend. You need to pay for what you did to her. And you were saving him, you will also pay. 

Jace: I didn't kill her. (PANTING) Valentine used me, just like he's using you right now. 

Rose: Us fighting with each other is only giving him what he wants. 

Maia: Really? (WOLVES SNARLING) Give me one good reason why I should believe you two. 

Rose: Because I know what it's like to lose someone you love. My brother is counting on me. Just... (SIGHS) You can kill me... Just please let me get to him first. (WOLVES GROWLING) 

Maia: Well, I wish I could, but, uh... It's them you'll have to convince. (SNARLS) ( Luke and Clary come. ) 

Clary: Stop!

Maia: Keep out of this, Luke. 

Clary: Jace didn't kill Gretel. It was Valentine. I'm telling you the truth. I swear! (WOLF GROWLING) ( He was ready to attack Jace but Izzy caught him by his neck using the whip. ) (WOLF YELPS) (SNARLS) (WOLF WHIMPERS) 

Isabelle: Stay. (WOLF GROWLING SOFTLY) Good doggy. By the order of the Clave, Jace Wayland is coming with me! 

Luke: Maia. ( He shows her his wolf eyes. ) (WOLF CONTINUES GROWLING) I said stand down. (SNARLING) (GROWLING SOFTLY) 

Rose: Thanks, Izzy. I owe you one. 

Isabelle: Don't thank me yet. (VEHICLES HONKING) 

( Camera is focused on Magus' loft. Jocelyn, Clary, Isabelle, Jace and Alec were there. Rose comes. ) 

Magnus: He can't last much longer. 

Rose: Theo. 

( A seven year old Rose and Theo are shown. )

Rose: Where's Theo? 

Maryse: Don't worry. He'll be here. 

( Rose walks towards him. )

( Theo walks towards her. Rose smiled. ) 

( Magnus gives Rose the stone. Rose goes and sits near Theo. She takes his hand and places the stone between their hands. It glows. )

( Rose and Theo grab each other's hand and a circle forms with blue fire surrounding them. ) 

Their eyes were again becoming moist. 

Rose: Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee. 

Rose: Entreat me not to leave thee... Or to return from following after thee. (BREATHING HEAVILY) 

Theo: For whither thou goest, I will go. And where thou lodgest... (GASPS) ( The stone falls from Theo's hand. ) (PANTS) 

Isabelle: What's happening? 

Magnus: He's slipping. 

" Oh no. " Caroline said. 

Alec: No... 

Clary: No... (WHEEZING) 

Rose: Thy people will be my people, thy God will be my God. When thou diest, I will die. And there will I be buried. The Angel do so to me. (EXHALES SLOWLY) (CRYING) ( She hugs him. ) And more also... If aught but death part thee and me. Please don't leave me, Theo. (SOBS SOFTLY) 

They all were crying now. 

Theo: (WEAKLY) If aught but death part thee and me. (ROSE CRYING) ( Theo wakes up. ) ( They sob in each other's chest. ) (THEO SOBS SOFTLY) (CHUCKLES) ( Aldertree comes there. ) 

Aldertree: Jace Wayland! You are hereby sentenced to the City of Bones to await trial for the charge of high treason and aiding Valentine in the war against the Clave. 

" And he comes. " Enzo said. 

Theo: Wait, what... What the hell is going on? 

Jace: Take care of him. ( They take Jace with them. )
