Clary is seen blowing the candles on her birthday cake forming the angelic rune. Jace is seen jumping from a building with eagles surrounding him. He jumps on the ground splashing the water which forms heightened speed rune. Alec is seen a room with healing rune drawn on one of the walls. He aims his arrow. Isabelle is now shown swinging her blade forming the parabatai rune. Simon is seen wiping the blood on his lips in hotel de mort. The whole background turns black and white. Luke is seen with a wall behind him covered with runes and wolves. Magnus is drinking his cocktail. Scene splits and shows Theo and Rose using their magic and flashing their alpha eyes. Then all the runes are shown burning and Rosaline, Theo, Clary, Jace, Alec and Isabelle are shown walking and the title Shadowhunter appears with The Mortal Instruments written below. And the screen turns black.

Scene Changes.

Luke: How could you not tell me that?

Theo: The Downworld would be in total chaos if they knew what the Sword could do. There would be uprisings everywhere.

Luke: So you're saving the Downworlders from themselves? We never asked.

Rose: We didn't even know that Valentine could activate the Sword until we realized he had an angel.

Magnus: It's okay. I sedated him when I pulled him from the ledge.

Simon: You talked to Clary, didn't you? That's why she's acting all weird.

Jace: Listen, I did nothing.

Maryse: You bring him up here...

Clary: I did not bring him up here, I followed him. (ALL ARGUING INDISTINCTLY)

ELENA: This is very bad and heated argument.

Magnus: Nobody leaves until I get it back. ( Magnus was checking each guest. )

Man: I was this close to lining up a three-way and you guys let yourselves get spelled?

Jace: Is he the last one?

Magnus: It appears I'm the only warlock here. ( He puts the wards down. )

Clary: Magnus, what happens if we don't find your spell book?

Magnus: That's not an option you want to explore. That book can undo every spell I've ever cast. From the elementary to the complex. In new and old languages... Champenois. It's an old French dialect. (SPEAKING FRENCH) The red-haired cat. ( He puts the wards up again. )

Alec: Magnus, what cat? (CAT YOWLS) ( Magnus uses magic to turn the cat into its original form. )

CAROLINE: It's been her all along.

Magnus: I hate party crashers.

Iris: Duratus! ( She freezes everyone except Rose, Theo and Magnus as they had their shields up. ) ( Rose shoots Iris with the red energy ball. ) ( She tries to leave but Theo closes every exit. ) ( Magnus and Iris fight each other with magic. ) (GRUNTS) (PANTING) (GASPING) ( Rose captures her. )

Magnus: You haven't changed one bit since the last time I saw you crawling from the ruins of la Bastille. Old French spells. Your favorite. (WHIMPERS) Where are my counterspells? (GROANS)

Iris: Valentine! He has Madzie, too. If I don't go back, I don't know what he'll do to her.

Theo: What does Valentine want with his counterspells?

Iris: I don't know. (YELLING) I don't know! (PANTS) All... All he said was that I had to get them for him. And I wasn't to harm Clary or Rose or he'd make Madzie suffer. Rosaline, please. I'm all Madzie has. Have mercy. (PANTING)

Magnus: Release them. (SIGHS) (PANTING)

Iris: Clary Fairchild... You made a blood oath. Find Madzie. ( Rose portals her to Idris. )

REBEKAH: Bloody blood oath. It comes in the game now.

Rose: She's the Clave's problem now.

Alec: Okay, what is Valentine up to anyway?

Clary: I don't know.

Jace: (WHISPERING) It's too dangerous.

Clary: Jace, they're our family. They need to know.

Isabelle: Know what?

Rose: Brother... I mean the angel Ithuriel. Valentine was going to use him to activate the Soul-Sword.

Theo: He needs someone with pure angel blood to activate it.

Simon: Well, that doesn't sound good.

Jace: It's not. With the Soul-Sword activated, Valentine could decimate the entire Downworld.

Theo: Ithuriel showed us a vision of a demon who could destroy the Sword. If we could find that demon, we could stop Valentine.

Magnus: How did you save the angel?

Clary: With runes the angel gave to me and Rose.

Jace: New runes, Magnus. Ones no one's ever seen before.

Isabelle: Why did he choose you?

Clary: I have no idea.

Rose: We know.

Magnus: I might. Years ago, a Silent Brother told me about a special connection the original Shadowhunters had with the Angel Raziel.

Theo: That they could communicate from afar through visions. Because they were created from his blood.

KLAUS: That means your sister also has pure angel blood.

Alec: Are you saying that...

Rose: Clary has a blood connection to that angel. And that must mean she has pure angel blood. Like I and Theo have.

Jace: That's why Valentine wants Clary, Rose and Theo unharmed. They can activate the Soul-Sword.

Scene Changes

Simon: "Soul-Sword." Strange name for a weapon of mass destruction.

Clary: Simon, we're not going to let him activate it. We'll do whatever it takes.

Simon: Clary, you might be a Shadowhunter with all kinds of crazy abilities, that doesn't mean you can stop the inevitable.

Clary: It's not inevitable, all right? It can't be.

Simon: Hey... This news of a Downworld apocalypse, it's not all bad. Because now, it's clearer than ever... I want to spend every minute of every day with you. (SIGHS) ( They kissed. )

Scene Changes.

Max: To the Angel I entrust my life... And vow to uphold the laws of heaven.

( Theo walks with him. Jace winked at him and in return Max also winks. )

All of them smiled at this.

Max: I take this mark to honor Him... To bring His light into me... And vow to uphold the laws of heaven. So I may join the ranks of the Shadowhunters the guardians of peace. ( Max forwards his hand and the Silent Brother draw the rune. ) (RUNE SEARING)

( They all congratulate him. )

Jace: Hey, you should know...

Clary: Valentine's coming for me, isn't he?

Jace: Which means I'm never letting you out of my sight.

Rose: No matter what happens, Clary, I will always protect you.

Clary: The ceremony was beautiful.

Jace: Yeah, Max did great, huh?

Rose: Didn't even flinch. (SIGHS)

Jace: Give me a minute. ( He and Theo left. )

Clary: Alec, whatever you heard me say when you were under the spell... You have to know, I don't blame you for my mom.

Rose: We don't, okay.

Jace: Maryse, look, I... I just want you to know...

Maryse: I don't need any more apologies. Because you don't owe me one. I don't regret taking you in for one second. Max was totally out of line, because I have been out of line. As a parent, your greatest hope is that your children don't inherit your worst traits. (JACE CHUCKLES) (SIGHS)

Theo: What? ( Rose also comes there. )

Maryse was feeling bad at this time also but Luke comforted her.

Theo: Is Dad cheating on you?

Jace: B*st*rd. ( A lone tear escapes from Rose's eyes but she wipes it before anyone noticed. )

Only the people from TVD universe understood this. Rose stares Klaus whose eyes were filled of guilt and pain but she ignored it and then, looked over Achatius and smiled.

Maryse: You can't tell Isabelle. (SNIFFLES) She worships Robert. I can bear it, but it would destroy her. ( Rose hugged her and she cries on her shoulder. ) (SOBBING)

Alec: Come stay with us. You and Max. (SIGHS) You don't have to go back to Idris or Dad.

Maryse: Oh... I wish I could stay... More than anything. (BREATHES HEAVILY) But I have to get back to the Clave.

Theo: Why?

Jace: Let Robert take care of that.

Maryse: Everything's different now because of Clary, you both and the Sword. I can't let my problems interfere with my duty. Not now.
