She pulled her sister over to the bed and held her. She could feel that she didn't feel like speaking and that she just needed to be comforted.

"Since we're sharing things, I seen Kai." She paused to see how Nell would react.

She felt her sister raise her head and look around. She felt the fear rise and had to quickly let go.

"Where? When? How?" She looked into her eyes, fear overcame them in an instant. She was scared for her sister more than she was herself.

Theo smiled and shook her head. "It wasn't real. It was fake just like what you seen earlier." She had to convince herself as much as she convinced Nell.

"Finish telling me what you and Bonnie talked about tho. I'd love to hear it." She stroked her head calming her.

Nell caught her up on everything and now she arranged a dinner date for the group. "It's tonight by the way. Let's get ready."

She pushed her sister out to the hall so she could go shower.

"So how long have you guy's known you were witches?" Elena leaned closer to them.

Theo laughed. She thought it was a stupid question but she answered it regardless. "Since we were born. We were raised learning how to use and control our gift."

They all looked at Bonnie. She had her mouth slightly open like she wanted to speak but didn't know what to say.

"What Bonnie is trying to say is..." Caroline looked over at her friend motioning for her to speak.

"I didn't know until I was in high school. I didn't believe it was true at first but you know..." she laughed.

They nodded. "So how long have you guys been shadows of the night?" Nellie smiled, they were taught not to befriend vampires but she liked some of them.

Elena laughed more than she should have, people around them started staring. She covered her mouth shaking her head. "Long story. But not too long."

They all got along fine and organized another time to hang out. They obviously didn't tell them anything about what's been happening like in class or their backstory.

On the way home Nell wouldn't stop talking about them the whole drive home. The rain hit the car hard and repeatedly. She really likes Bonnie and Elena but she lives Caroline. She doesn't know what it is about her but she's just connects with her.

"Maybe it's her attitude but she just gets it." She sat up to talk to her sister.

"El im trying to concentrate on the road, sit back." She put her arm on her stomach to push her back into her seat.

She sat back for a while before getting up again. "Did you see that?" She pointed out the window. It was a shallow spot in the middle of the road.

She swore she seen someone walk or run past. Her breathing got faster and deeper. It was very intense and irregular.

Theo looked over at her sister to see how petrified she was then she heard her scream as pointed to the street.

She hadn't noticed it before but it was raining. She doesn't know when it started but it wasn't raining when they left the diner.

She hit the break and could only watch in slow motion as her sister slid to the front of the car. Then everything was black.
