*Ring Ring*

The school bell rang signaling the end of the day. I sighed in relief. Finally this chaotic day is coming to an end.

I rushed to pack my bag after my Chemistry teacher dismissed us. She seemed very eager for me to go after I accidentally broke three test tubes and almost burned the lab table down. Apparently it's a good idea to have the new student light a Bunsen Burner on her first day of Chemistry without showing her how to do it first.

I got to my locker and started searching my pockets for the card with my combination on it. Once I found it and put in my combination, I quickly packed my backpack with the things I needed. I made a mental list in my head, Notebook. Check. Homework Folder. Check. Pencil Pouch. Check.

I closed my locker, zipped my backpack, and headed towards the exit just as I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to find Dex and Marella with their bags packed and ready to go.

Dex raised his eyebrow in a teasing manner, "Where are you headed in a rush?"

Marella playfully crossed her arms, "Yeah Sophie, where are you headed? Are you hiding something?"

"No, I just want to leave this place as quickly as possible." I shuddered at the thought of Chemistry that day.

"Everyone wants to leave school as soon as possible, I do more than others." Dex joked.

We all laughed at Dex's comment not caring about the weird looks we were getting from the other kids in the hallway because of how loud we were. I wasn't surprised when I saw Stina giving us a dirty look.

Surprisingly, that's why I'm glad I have Dex and Marella as friends.

Because with them, being weird is almost like being normal.

It was a good thing that Dex and Marella lived close to my house, because Aria and Jade decided that I should walk home too, and without his help, I would probably be very lost.

We were talking and laughing at the crazy stories Marella was telling us about the teachers at Brooklyn High.

We turned a corner and after walking another block Dex stopped in front of creme colored house. He turned to wave goodbye.

"This is my stop. See you guys tomorrow?" He asked.

"Yeah see you later Dex!" Marella said while waving.

"Bye Dex!" I waved at him and turned back to Marella. "So where's your house?"

"Not far from here, just up the road"

I looked around, this had looked somewhat familiar to me. Then I realized that I passed by this when I attempted to walk to school that morning. At least I knew I was close to the house.

Marella and I continued to walk, talk, and laugh as we went up the road. We were in the middle of a conversation about Stina, when suddenly Marella stopped in her tracks and gasped.

I stopped abruptly and looked at her with a confused face. "Marella what's wrong?"

She continued to stare at something in front of her with her jaw dropped open. I followed her gaze until my eyes caught the sight of someone I thought I wouldn't see again.

"Keith?"

"Oh My Gosh! It's Keefe Sencen, Sophie!" Marella squealed.

I looked at her confused, "He told me his name was Keith..."

Marella's jaw dropped, "You talked to him! And you didn't tell me!"

I looked at Keefe, who looked like he was hanging out with his friend in his house.

"I can't believe I didn't recognize him the first time." I mumbled. The realization dawned on me that I was picked up by a celebrity and was given a ride in his limo. I met a celebrity and I didn't even know.

But...why didn't he tell me his real name?

Why did he lie to me?

AN: I'm finally back to updating! Hope everyone's day is good so far! Sorry this chapter is shorter than usual. I didn't want to switch POVs in the middle of the chapter so expect the next one to be Keefe's POV :)
