"HEY HEY YOU YOU I DONT LIKE YOUR GIRLFRIEND!" Lucia sang "no way! no way! think you need a new-AHH."

"I see Annabeth visited you."

Lucia jumped, she ripped her headphones out of her ear when she saw Will standing near the door frame.

"You scared me!" She yelled at him "Knock?!"

"This is the infirmary." He reminded her

"Well!" Lucia didn't have an argument "Still!"

Will laughed, "Please continue."

"No, No free concerts." Lucia joked

Will smiled

Lucia glared, She looked away.

"It's almost time for dinner." Will informed, "What do you want me to bring you?"

Lucia stopped. "Could I go?"

Wills smile grew

Enemy

Lucia scowled "Don't go thinking anything. If my butt wasn't numb I wouldn't even be thinking about it."

"mmhm" Will hummed "Whatever you say, Sister."

"On second thought, leave me, because when you uncuff that hand I just might use it to choke you."

Will brushed the comment off, he pulled a key out of his pocket. He uncuffed her from the cot, moving the cuff to her free wrist. She didnt pounce.

"Ready?"

Lucia stood she hit his shoulder when she walked past him. "Whatever."

LUCIA HAD STAYED SILENT FOR ALL OF DINNER. Will suggested taking a cuff off so she could eat but even if she didn't have the handcuffs on she wouldn't have eaten. It got hard to do. She didn't have much of an appetite lately.

Her siblings had stared at her the entire time. None of them said a word which if you knew them was very unlike them. She felt glances on her at all times if it wasn't from her table it was from the others and most came from the green-eyed boy and the grey-eyed girl.

Lucia huffed, She stood.

"Where are you—"

"Cabin." She said

Michael spoke up "Inspections were today try not to—"

"I'll do what I want." She snapped, before waltzing down to the cabins.

"Don't," Will said, but it wasnt directed towards her. She was already a few feet away from the Apollo cabin. his voice rang from the Dining Pavilion. "Leave her."

"But—"

"Annabeth. She's doing better but we can't push her."

"I just don't—"

"You don't want her to end up like luke?" Will asked, "She won't."

"Idiots" Lucia muttered, she didn't bother to listen to the rest of the conversation. She burst through the cabin.

She walked in the direction of her bunk but stopped in her tracks.

Her gaze fell onto Lee Fletcher's made-up bed.

It was empty, just white sheets. His orange comforter was gone and the Sun-shaped nightlight all Apollo kids had in their bunk wasn't plugged in. She thought back to the awkward silence of the Apollo table. One person was missing. Where was Lee?

Everything that once was a part of him had been stripped away. His armor was gone, his bow wasn't hanging on its hook, and his comic books and posters were nowhere to be found. and he...he wasn't here.

Lucia walked forward. Her cuffed hands touched the bed sheets.

"You need to realize you are a demigod" Lee insisted "You were made for this. You're going to be fine"

"Why? out of all the apollo kids you chose me to represent the cabin? Just yesterday I didn't even know how to pull a bowstring! " She tried begging again "If I mess u-"

"Then don't." Lee said, " I believe in you."

"Where are you?."  She felt like someone was twisting a knife into her stomach "Lee. Where are you."

"Here take these too" Lee handed her a pouch of drachmas and five midlength bronze daggers with silver and gold accents "Spartan throwing daggers"

"But I have the bow and arrows?" Lucia questioned, "I dont know how to use these."

"Look where you want it to go ." Lee aired "...then throw."

"Woah lee you're a genius" She faked an enthusiastic smile "I would have never guessed"

"See the more you know" he teased, then he took a step back and observed his sister, he zipped her backpack close and put it over her shoulders tightening the straps. "You ready ?"

"As ready as I can be" She replied

Rory put a hand on her shoulder "You'll do great."

"Stay safe Lucia, "

She didn't even realize she started crying until a sob escaped her lips.

"The only way you'll know anything for sure is if you talk to him."

"I can't. I look at him and I just feel bitter. I even yelled at him in the big house before storming off here ." Lucia laughed, blinking away tears "I was so upset I just blew up." Lucia frowned "Gods I'm the idiot."

"No." Lee shook his head "You're not. You're allowed to say what you feel Lucia. "

Lucia thought back to living with her stepmom, if she was angry she'd get called mean. If she was sad, she'd get called dramatic. If she was happy... well she wasn't home. Every time she tried to express her emotions she was immediately shut down. Now she had so many emotions built up inside her with nowhere to put them. But there was her older brother, telling her that if she needed to feel to feel.

Lee wrapped his arms around his Sister and held her as she burst into tears.

It was a silent way to show that no matter what: He would always be there for her.

"Let it out." Lee rubbed at her back "Let it all out."

It was exactly what Lucia needed at that moment. But for some reason, there was a terrible awful feeling that told her it wouldn't last as long as she hoped.... and that.. that only made her cry harder.

I believe in you.

Stay safe Lucia.

You're allowed to say what you feel Lucia.

His voice rang in her ears as she fell into a heap on his bed.

"Lee, no!" She panicked "Where are you!"

Her head was throbbing.

Ene-

I believe in you.

She ran back outside. When she made it to the dining pavilion, she stopped in front of her sibling's table.

"Will." She looked nothing short of a wreck.

He stood immediately, all eyes were on her "Yeah?"

"Where is he." She said, "Where's Lee."

Aurora stood "Lucia—"

She looked at her. Her hands shaking. "Where is my brother!"

Lucia observed the faces at the table. when she didn't find the one she wanted to see she started crying harder. "Where is he? Where is he!"

"Lucia." Michael tried to be gentle "He died, he died in the battle of the labyrinth. A giant-"

"No!" She said "He can't be. He can't be. You're l-lying to me" Her voice broke "You're all liars!

But Lucia knew he wasn't lying.

"It's the truth." Aurora frowned "Lee is gone..."

An anguished sob broke from her lips. "No No No." She fell into her sister's arms. "Lee. " She cried "Lee I'm sorry."

"Hey, Lucia." Will called softly "It's okay it's okay"

"No." Lucia cried "No it's not."

Percy stood up from his table.

Kill Percy Jackson.

"Don't!" She barked at him. Her demeanor changed from grief to hatred like a switch.

'What the hades is going on with her?'

'shes gone crazy'

Lucia heard the camper's murmurs but she didn't care at all. She only had one thought in mind and it was that her brother was gone.

"Lucia you need to take a breath." Will held her by the shoulders "You're hyperventilating."

"Will you need to help me." Her voice was softer. She was pleading with him "I can't control it. Kronos. Heca—"

Lucia cried harder. The pain returned. It was like someone had shoved a piercing burning rod through her forehead.

Lucia felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned to see Silena. "Hey. It's okay." She nodded, "You're okay."

"No" Lucia's lips trembled "Don't be nice to me."

She thought about how she talked to Silena and her heart sank. gods Beckendorf she cried he's gone and it's all my fault. "I'm sorry Silena, It's all my fault it's all my fault."

Enem- Be safe Lucia.

She let out a high-pitched scream, The campers were lucky she had the handcuffs on because even with them, they had to hold their ears. The intensity of her cry caused them all to fall silent. They only stared either in pity or genuine concern.

Annabeth's arms were around her in an instant. "Lucy." She sniffled "What did he do to you."

Lucia pulled away from Silena, She fell into Annabeths embrace like it was the only place she was able to feel safe."He ruined me."

Chiron stepped in "Campers, back to your cabins. Leave us."

"We need to deal with a war do we really need to deal with the insane chick too?" A voice said from the Ares table. In an instant, water shot up from his chalice, shooting up into his nose.

"Percy!" Chiron chided, he sighed "Lucia is a camper. Who has been through something. We can and will deal with both situations. Now go."

The campers scattered away. The only ones choosing to stay were Will, Percy, Annabeth, and surprisingly Silena.

"Beth don't go." She whispered "Please. Please don't go." Lucia clung to her. The voice in her head disappeared with Annabeth around.

"I'm not going to Lucy. I'm Here."

Chiron rolled forward in his wheelchair. He stopped beside Lucia. "Lucia can you remember what happened."

Camp half blood is your enemy

"No!" Lucia cried, she clutched onto Annabeth "Make it shut up!"

"What?" She asked, "What is it, Lucy?"

"It keeps telling me what to do" Her lower lip trembled "It keeps telling me to hurt you."

"Chiron she's not in a good state right now " Will warned "Lee...Lee triggered something. the grief must have been strong enough to resist whatever it is. But she's overwh—"

Camp half blood is your enemy

"Get off me!" She shoved Annabeth away. When she saw her hurt expression she cried harder "No no I'm sorry Beth. oh gods, I am going insane."

Silena stepped in

"Lucia calm down." She said, but this time her voice held weight to it. "You're not insane"

Lucia took a deep breath in. She listened to Silena's words intently.

"We are your friends. We care about you. Tell us. Who's telling you what to do?"

"He wants my abilities," Lucia said robotically. "He wants me to help him destroy Olympus." She took a deep breath in "He wants me to destroy Percy Jackson."

Silena spoke with calmness "What did Kronos do to you."

Lucia's hands flew to her temples "No no." She groaned "Stop hurting!"

Silena frowned.

Someone pushed their way next to her. "Look at me."

Kill Percy Jackson.

"Stay away from me. I'll kill you."

it wasn't a threat, it was a warning.

"Lucia. Look at me."

"I hate you!" She screamed

"You don't."

"Percy, Keep trying." Silena ordered, "Trust me."

"Lucia."

"You need to die!" She bellowed "I hate you!"

"Maybe it's better if he goes away." Annabeth suggested, "She gets worse around him."

"No." Silena shook her head "He can make things better."

Percy kneeled in front of Lucia, She backed up. Half in disgust and Half in fear of Silena being right.

"Sunlight," he spoke and her heart did a backflip. His hand cradled her cheek. "Look at me."

Lucia shook her head, she squeezed her eyes shut "You can't do that."

"Why?"

I hate Percy Jackson

Lucia moved her face away from him. "Don't touch me. Annabeth! Get him away from me!"

Annabeth tried moving him "Seriously Percy, It's making things worse."

Percy didn't budge. "Will?"

Will looked at Lucia, her face held more emotion than ever. Something had cracked. "Continue Percy."

"I hope the prophecy is true. I hope you die." Lucia snapped. She had her hands cuffed so she made no physical attacks, but she yelled at him hoping he got the hint. "You're the worst thing that ever happened to me. I hate you! I want you to leave!"

Percy held her head in his hands softly. He combed her hair back revealing her puffy and distressed face.

Enemy

"I hate you." She whispered but she made no effort in fighting him off, a tear fell from her eye, sliding down the bridge of her nose and falling onto Percy's shirt.

"This isn't you Luz. You can lie to me. Hurt me. Push me away. But I won't give up on you. I promised you once that I would always find you. I will find you. I won't stop looking for you. Come back to me. Please sunlight."

Lucia looked at him, Her heart crescendoed. "Ocean eyes?" She whispered, her voice soft.

Percy's face lit up. He nodded "It's me."

come back to me

She stared into his eyes, the sea-green pools called to her.

Percy Jackson is the enemy.

She pressed herself back against the bench of the dining table. "Stay away from me."

Percy's face dropped in disappointment "No. Lucia. Luz" He pleaded "Wait."

Chiron cleared his throat. "Lucia?"

Lucia looked up at Chiron."Yes, Chiron?."

Will sighed in relief. Something had shifted in Lucia's diagnosis. It wasn't perfect but it was something.

"Would you like to come with me to the Big house?"

Lucia shifted "Can Annabeth and Will come too?" She avoided Percy's broken expression."I want them there."

"Of course. Silena thank you for your help and Percy—"

"I have something to do." He declared. He got up from his spot across from Lucia and stormed away.

She watched him go, her face held no emotion.

Her body didn't respond the same way. The recurring pain in her chest made its debut once again.

"HE HAD ME IN A ROOM...THE SHIPS MORGUE." Lucia started "It was freezing. and I was blindfolded. for days they had me locked away. But I didn't realize it until he told me. Time, time was so...unreal around him." She took a deep breath in "He told me he wanted me, he said I had amazing power and he would help me reach my fullest potential."

The three listened to her in silence.

"I kept saying I didn't want anything from him. I'd rather be killed. he didn't like that. he told me I had to hate Percy—" Lucia stopped, the tone in her voice shifted "I do"

"And then?" Annabeth asked

"Hecate." Lucia whispered "I met Hecate. she would come in every day... for three months. I—I think we talked?—I think I screamed more than talk?" Lucia's eyes shut, her head started aching again and she winced "I can't—"

"Lucia it's okay," Chiron reassured. "Dont push yourself. Take your time."

"Then Kronos freed me. He welcomed me into his army." Lucia sighed "He said I was ready. We trained. I fainted a lot. He would make me visit Hecate too. to talk. And—" Lucia winced "I'm sorry. That's all I—."

"Charmspeak." Chiron concluded, "Hecate has mastered it to a powerful degree, being the goddess of magic. If she did it to you that often...then there's no wonder you believe what she's told you so strongly."

There was silence.

Will frowned "Lucia. How do you feel now?"

"Like shit." She answered honestly "I'm confused. I don't know what to trust"

Annabeth's hand fell atop hers.

"My lord. He hurt, he's the reason—"

You're allowed to say what you feel Lucia.

Lucia stopped. Clarity filled her senses. "Kronos killed Lee. He hurt me. He hurts the people I care about." Lucia whimpered "I don't know what's real and what's not"

"Then ask dear." Chiron soothed "We will help you."

Lucia frowned "Her voice is stronger than I am. I don't—"

"Progress is progress, Lucia." Chiron interrupted "You already seem more like yourself."

Annabeth squeezed her hand "Lucy we are here for you."

"Can I sleep in the infirmary again tonight?" Lucia asked "I'm not ready to be there. near his empty bed."

"Yes of course." Chiron nodded "Whatever helps you."

"Thank you, Chiron." She took a deep breath in, she turned to Annabeth. She didn't let go of her hand. "You're my friend. Real or not Real?"

Annabeth frowned but she understood Lucia had been through too much. Her mind was tangled in knots. she didn't know what was truth and what was a lie embedded in her brain.

"Real," Annabeth answered

"You care about me?" Lucia asked

"So much."

Lucia nodded, she felt no doubts about her response. She had decided that no matter what, she would believe in Annabeth. She was one of the only things that felt sure right now.

"I trust you, Beth."

A/N:

hi hi, I know Lucia's breakdown is extreme, and trust me I get it if it's not your cup of tea. but I wanted to make it extreme. If anyone has ever seen the vampire diaries I was a little inspired by when vampires turn their humanity off and when it comes back on. Except for Lucia, it's not a switch it's not all going to come rushing back and it's not that simple of a shut off either. Which we will be seeing. Though I promise she won't be suffering the entire time, Finding out about Lee has removed that tether to Kronos so she's not going to be all 'hail kronos' anymore. But she's still struggling with a lot of things including the guilt of being on his side. I hope you guys get what I'm trying to do haha if not though hopefully by the end you do and you think I did it justice.

Also, I know I've been updating quite randomly and in doubles. This honestly might happen a lot more often because I'm on break for a whole week and I have a few chapters written that just need editing. I'm not sure how often ill be updating since I do have homework, but expect a lot of updates!
