Alina had got back two days before school started she was jet-lagged no doubt but she dealt with it today was her first day of Junior year. She was going into this year with zero friends, hoping she would meet some new ones but was kind of doubting it. She got dressed doing her hair and makeup before heading downstairs seeing her mom at the table drinking coffee.

"I made muffin's they're blueberry."She spoke, Alina smiled seeing as they were her favorite and grabbing 2 along with apple juice and sat down at the table across from her mom."Are you excited?"

"Somewhat."Alina spoke bitting into her muffin.

"Do you need me to come with you?"

"Mom I'm a big girl and i have a car."Alina spoke pointing at her keys that were sitting on the counter.

"Ok, missy. I have to go have fun at school, text me if you need anything."Her mom spoke getting up kissing Alina's head."I love you."

"I love you too, mom."Alina spoke, while Thena gathered her stuff before leaving to go to work. Alina finished eating and grabbed her backpack and keys, she lefted heading to school.

Alina walked into school she looked seeing the missing person poster for Erica Reyes and Veron Boyd they had been missing for a little over 2 months now and they didn't have any lead. In walked Stiles Stilisnki and Scott McCall, Stiles looked overseeing Alina looking at the posters. Her hair had grown longer and she had a new style he could tell seeing she was more confident in herself as she walked away from the board but still shy. She got to her locker opening it messing up the combination 3 times before finally getting it. Seeing somebody else getting to the locker next to him he smiled at her opening his locker.

"Are you new?"Alina questioned having not seen him before unless he was a freshman but he looked older than 14-15.

"That obvious?"Ethan questioned.

"Ehh not really, I've just never seen you before."She spoke grabbing her books, Ethan nodded.

"Ethan."

"Alina."

"It's nice to meet you, Alina and this is my annoying twin brother, Aiden."Ethan spoke as Aiden came over to the two. Aiden quickly slapped his twin on the back of his head, making Alina chuckle and Ethan rub the back of his head glaring at Aiden.

"I'm the better twin of course."Aiden spoke, Ethan glared at him."What's your last name?"

"Jenkins, Alina Jenkins."Alina spoke, as Aiden nodded with a small smirk on his face looking at his twin. The bell then rang, Alina, locked her locker.

"I should probably get going."Alina spoke.

"Yeah, we should too,Bye."Ethan spoke, Alina said bye to the twins walking away.

Alina was sitting in her class and in came Stiles and Scott talking, Stiles saw her giving her a small smile.He came over sitting in front of her as Scott took the seat next to him.Stiles turned and looked at the Jenkins girl who quickly looked down at her book.

"Hi."Stiles spoke,Scott looked at him shaking his head.He knew Stiles had formed a tiny crush on the girl,but it was nothing compared to his undying love for Lydia Martin.

"Hey."Alina said,looking up slightly at the boy she noticed he had grown his hair out so now he didn't have a buzzcut.

"So how was your summer?"

"Wonderful,Yours?"

"Good-Really good."Stiles spoke looking at his best friend who was shaking his head laughing at how awkward the two were.Suddenly their phones started going off making Alina grab hers.

"The offing was barred by a black bank of clouds and the tranquil waterway, leading to the unmost ends of the earth flowed somber under an overcast sky, seemed to lead into the heart of an immense darkness.This the last line to the first book we are going to read."The teacher spoke walking in reading what the text had sent."It is also the last text you will receive in this class.Phones off everyone."Alina put her phone into her bookbag.

Alina was writing down stuff,Scott had lefted.Suddenly birds came flying into the classroom breaking the windows.

"Get down, everyone!"Alina quickly ducked under her desk.Later it stopped,Alina had a small cut on her cheek.She looked around seeing all the birds dead.She was confused on how the hell it had happened something was going on.

Alina walked out of class she had cleaned her wound on her check,she walked to her locker the twins were there chatting before they saw her.

"I heard about what happened you alright?"Ethan asked the Jenkins girl.

"Yeah,just a small scratch."Alina spoke pointing to her check that had a small band-aid on it so it wouldn't get infected.

"Strange isn't it?"Aiden spoke from beside his brother.

"Yeah really strange."Alina spoke unlocking her locker."I mean how does that even happen."

That's when the twins knew she knew nothing about the supernatural world but she was a supernatural being and according the Deucalion a powerful one they needed on their side.

"No clue."
