The scene changes to Vittorio's apartment.

The soft glow of the kitchen lights illuminated Vittorio's apartment as he moved gracefully between the stove and the dining table. The aroma of Jun-woo's favorite dish filled the air, creating an atmosphere that felt both intimate and inviting. Jun-woo sat at the table, anticipation twinkling in his eyes as he watched Vittorio work his culinary magic.

The people in the theatre could feel the love in the air.

Vittorio couldn't help but steal glances at Jun-woo, captivated by the way the soft candlelight reflected in his lover's eyes. The corners of Jun-woo's lips curled into a gentle smile as he caught Vittorio's gaze, and the room seemed to overflow with a warmth that went beyond the delicious scents wafting from the kitchen.

Vincenzo knew his brother was lovesick for this intern. He can also sense the other boy's feelings were also genuine. But then his mind went back to the first scene that was shown to them. Vincenzo was conflicted and didn't know how to really feel about this situation.

As the final touches were put on the meal, Vittorio carried the plates to the table, placing one in front of Jun-woo with a flourish. "Your favorite," he said, his voice a tender melody that resonated in the quiet space. "I hope it's just as you like it."

People in the theatre were surprised to see this romantic side of the big-bad mafia.

Jun-woo's eyes sparkled with gratitude as he picked up his fork, cutting into the dish. The first bite brought a delighted expression to his face, and he couldn't help but let out a contented sigh. "Dae-hyun, you're amazing. How did you learn to cook like this?"

On the other hand, it was a hard time for Han-seo to digest that his monster brother could really care about anyone. He knew his best friend was going to get his heart broken, something inevitable and for the better.

Vittorio chuckled, taking a seat across from Jun-woo. "Well, when you have someone special to cook for, you find the motivation to learn. And you, my love, are the most special person in the world to me."

"Look at the mafia leader being cheesy," Cha-young teased Vittorio as she forgot for a moment about the wicked plans of Myung-hee.

Vittorio blushed at this but Han-seok was not even a comparison for him as the latter already looked like a ripen tomato.

Jun-woo's cheeks tinted a soft shade of pink, and he reached across the table to gently squeeze Vittorio's hand. "I'm the lucky one. To have you and a feast like this waiting for me."

As they continued to share the meal, the conversation flowed effortlessly between them. Laughter and stolen glances created an atmosphere of unspoken love. Vittorio couldn't help but admire the way Jun-woo's eyes lit up when he spoke, the genuine joy that radiated from him.

After the last bite was savored and the plates were set aside, Vittorio rose from his chair, extending his hand toward Jun-woo. "May I have this dance?" he asked, a playful glint in his eyes.

Jun-woo's smile widened, and he took Vittorio's hand, standing up to join him. In the small space between the kitchen and the dining area, they swayed to a melody only they could hear, wrapped in the warmth of each other's arms.

In that moment, with the remnants of the delicious meal lingering in the air and the soft strains of a love song echoing in the background, Vittorio and Jun-woo shared a dance that transcended the boundaries of time. It was a dance of two hearts in perfect harmony, lost in the sweet melody of their love.

Vittorio and Han-seok already wanted to hide their faces, but inside both of them, have been smiling like idiots. Anyone can mistake their love for teenage romance; no one can guess that both of them were already in their early thirties.

"Aish, this is enough dog food for us singles," Mi-ri says, and the rest of them nod.

"So, this was the important work. That is why you left in a hurry," Vincenzo teases his brother who already looked like he was going to die of embarrassment.

The scene changes back to Cha-young. She was still drinking sprite.

"I am not going there to see my dad. I am going to the restaurant to eat tofu with kimchi and an assortment of jeon," Cha-young says to herself and wears her coat.

"Yeah, and I am straight," Vittorio says at this.

"Excuse me" A person says who had an umbrella. "It is for you."

"What is that?" Cha-young asks.

"The man you talked to earlier told me to give this to you," The man says and Cha-young takes the umbrella. She looks at it and smiles.

Cha-young in the theatre also smiles at this while Vincenzo also unknowingly slightly smiles, seeing Cha-young smile. Vittorio notices this and smiles as well.

"What?" She opens the umbrella and leaves.

The scene changes. Min-chul was in his room preparing for his testimony. Someone knocks at the the door. He gulps and asks.

"Who is it? Who is it?" He asks.

"We are from the police," The man answers.

"What is this about?" Min-chul asks.

"We are doing an inspection. A murder suspect was seen around here. We just need to check your identification," The man says from outside. Min-chul gets up from his seat and sees the officer outside.

"They are not the real police but Myung-hee's men, right?" Mr. An asks and Vittorio nods.

"I ask for your cooperation. Can you please open the door?" The officer asks.

"No, don't open it," Mi-ri mutters.

"You don't have a Busan accent" Min-chul says.

"Right. I am from Seoul," The officer replied.

"I see. Hold on," Min-chul closes the gate and rushes to keep all the documents inside.

"He is smart," Cha-young says.

"You have to be if you want to survive," Vittorio says.

"Open it quickly. I am busy today," The officer says.

"Okay. Wait" Min-chul says. The door was starting to get damaged from the other side.

The heartbeat of rest of the people was also rising, hoping that the researcher would be able to escape.

The door opens, the man disguised as the officer and one other man come inside. By the time, Min-chul jumped from the window and leaves.

"Damn it," The man disguised as an officer says. Min-chul was running and the men were chasing him. Min-chul gets inside one of the ship and hides there. He opens his phone and calls Hong Yu-chan.

People here also started to get anxious.

The scene changes to Vincenzo and Hong Yu-chan.

"Here is a thing. Jackie Chan. I love his movies. Why? He wins not because he is a master of martial arts, but because he never gives up. Even if he messes up, he tries again for 10 or 100 times. He keeps trying until he gets it right," Mr. Hong says imitating all the martial arts move and Vincenzo smiles.

"You are so wasted," Cha-young says and Mr. Hong hits the back of her head slightly.

"I am going for a smoke," He says and Vincenzo nods. Mr. Hong goes out of the shop. "Goodness. It is pouring," Vincenzo notices that Mr. Hong's phone was ringing. He looks at the caller ID and then, at Mr. Hong. He remembers the name RDU from the new drug Babel was manufacturing.

"That researcher was calling," Mr. Toto says.

"Pick the damn phone, Mr. Quassano," Cha-young shouts and everyone looks at her weirdly.

"Sir, can I get a cigarette?" A man asks Mr. Hong.

"Sure. Here you go," Mr. Hong says as he gives the man cigarette.

"The lighter," The man says.

"Here" Mr. Hong burns his cigarette.

"Enjoy," Mr. Hong says.

Thank you," The man goes ahead.

All of the got a bad feeling about this man.

Inside the shop. Vincenzo notices that RDU was calling again. This time he takes the phone. First he argues to pick it up or not. Then, he decides not to pick up and keeps the phone back again.

"Pick, the damn phone!" One of them shouts.

The scene changes to Min-chul, who was shivering in fear and cold.

The audience was getting more anxious.

"The number you have dialed is busy," He calls Mr. Hong again. This time, the man who was disguised as police officer founds him.

"No, they found him," Mr. Tak says.

The men come inside and kill him. The drops of blood falls on the phone and the man cuts the call.

Some of them turned their heads while others flinched feeling bad for the researcher.

Mr. Hong felt guilty for leaving his phone but relaxed knowing he could still prevent it all.

The scene changes back to the restaurant. Mr. Hong comes back inside as it was raining heavily outside.

"Goodness. It's pouring," Mr. Hong says as he sits on the seat.

"Mr. Hong. Are you hiding something from me?" Vincenzo asks.

The audience knew it has become obvious now.

"I am," Mr. Hong answers. "My sincerity which no one knows about." Mr. Hong says.

"You also don't know how to lie," Cha-young says.

He then speaks something in Italian. "'It takes a devil to drive out another devil' That is the only Italian proverb I know .Remember what I told you? Only monsters can beat monster. But I can not be a monster. I wish a real monster would appear and deal with all those men, whether it is legal or not," Mr. Hong says and chuckles. " But that is not possible in real life."

Everyone in the theatre knew who Mr. Hong was talking about.

He looks at Vincenzo and asks. "Mr. Cassano. You and your brother can't be that monsters, right?" Vincenzo stays silent for a few seconds and then, speaks.

"Someone has been calling you."

"What? Who? " Mr. Hong asks and checks his phone but Vincenzo answers before.

"RDU-90. Isn't that the researcher?" Vincenzo asks and Mr. Hong checks his phone. He tries to call Min-chul.

From the other direction a truck hits the restaurant. Vincenzo lies on the ground and looses his conscience . Vincenzo opens his eyes and sees Mr. Hong lying on the other side. He was slowly loosing his conscience again.

All of them get shocked at this.

Cha-young's eyes widen and she starts getting a panic attack but calms herself knowing that her dad is still alive. She hugs Mr. Hong tightly, being afraid that she will loose him too like her mother.

"I am not going anywhere," Mr. Hong says and pats Cha-young's head.

Meanwhile, Vittorio looks at Mung-hee and says with a voice devoid of emotion, still, with a murdering intent, "You are going to regret so bad, Choi Myung-hee and I promise that."

Suddenly, everyone felt the atmosphere growing very tense, scared of the younger Cassano and the dark aura surrounding him. Even, Jun-woo was feeling a chill running down his body.

Author's Note-

I know I don't post author's note but this one is special as today is my birthday, which kind of sucks due to personal reasons. Anyways, just wanted to thank all my readers for giving my book a chance and voting and commenting on it as I appreciate your reactions.

I am also stockpiling chapters as I am having my boards in late Feb to early March and I won't be able to write the story at that point. That's why I want to make sure you guys aren't depraved of updates when I am gone. Even though I am quite confident that I will perform well in the finals as I scored 99.2 percentile in the pre-boards (practice tests before the main exams) I still want to concentrate on my exams fully at that point of time.

I hope you are loving the story and Vittorio so far, to be honest even I don't have the end planned yet. But those who have watched Vincenzo know that the drama is coming soon as this chapter marks the end of episode 3.

Meanwhile, enjoy my tribute to my favorite Eren Yeager, AOT fans know why. I swear to god I made this with the cheapest art supplies ever because I don't have enough money to spend on quality art supplies. Plus, I also draw very rarely so it would be a waste of money.
