With anxious gazes, Ha-Ni and Anais watched Noémie's mother, whose eyes narrowed as she gave them a tense look. Noémie was moved to her VIP room, where she remained unconscious from the sedation, oblivious to the disturbance the news had caused her relatives.

The Jung family left because it was already 11 p.m., but Noémie family could see her for a short while due to her VIP status.

With her hands folded, she sat down on the green chair and said, "Spill you too. Noémie was knocked up in a relationship she was in. How the heck was I unaware that she was seeing someone?" She still looked flabbergasted by the shocking revelation.

Ha-Ni bit her lip and nervously glanced at her aunt. "Ajumma, Noémie didn't tell anyone for a while, and she didn't want anyone to know."

Anais sighed. "She was just as surprised as all of us, Aunty."

"Who is the guy?" She looked at them with narrowed eyes.

Ha-Ni looked at Anais discreetly and said, "Er, she will tell you herself, Ajumma. Noémie was adamant that no one should know yet. But he is not a scumbag, Ajumma. He is well to do."

Ara just huffed.

Just then, Ha-ni's parents came in with wide eyes. They looked flustered at the unfortunate news. Her mom's eyes zeroed in on her distressed little sister's presence. Ha-Ni sighs relieved that she is off the hook for the moment. Anais looked thoroughly amused by the whole issue.

"Oh, my sister, how is our girl doing? I'm so sorry for the tragic event", Ha-Ni's mother wailed and hugged her sister tightly.

Noémie's mom just inhaled deeply. She was still affected by the unfortunate event that happened to her only daughter. She was also feeling devastated that her only daughter didn't trust her with her deepest secrets. Did she fail as a mother?

Her sister looked at the unconscious Noémie on the bed. She was wearing a hospital gown. Ha-Ni was brushing her cousin's hair, which lay now in long, silky strands over her torso. Noémie must be in so much pain right now. She hoped she would be getting healed quickly.

"She is out of danger, but I have some news. "She entangled herself in her big sister's arms as she looked at her daughter, who looked pale with an oxygen mask on her face.

Ha-Nis' father sat on the chair near the table. His eyes looked wearily at the bed where his little niece was unconscious. How could this happen to such a sweet girl?

"How so, sis? Is she okay?" She looked at her younger sister with a little concern.

"She is alright, but the little twit decided to make me a grandmother before my time. I'm not even 45 years old yet.  Her dad will be so shocked. "She just shook her head at her older sister's audible gasp.

She and Noémie's dad also had to come clean and tell their daughter about their current marriage issue. Noémie will be hurt if she finds out. But right now, it's not important. Their daughter must get well soon, and their grandchild must be saved.

Anais, who stood near Ha-Ni, mumbled," She was sure not another Virgin Mary of the Bible." She softly snickered. Poor Noémie will have to come clean on her own. Her parents would be shocked if they realized their friend's son was the culprit.

She wishes she could be there when the drama unfolds. To think Noémie's first time loving a man landed her knocked up. 

Ha-ni shoved Anias' shoulder and looked at her shocked family. Her mom looked spooked. "Er, she did see someone, but it's not confirmed that they are dating. She will tell us the truth if she awakes. "

Ha-Ni feels bad because she knows Noémie's mom has high hopes for her daughter not to follow in her footsteps. Her daughter was so wholesome. She will blame herself, thinking, How did Noemie just lose her moral compass like that?

Noémies mom just shook her head and said, "This is so shocking. But it is also surprising. I'll have my grandchild, but the poor baby will be in danger. Noémie's body might abort the baby itself; she will be devastated. She has the chance to be a mother, but it will be taken from her."

Ha-Ni's' mom still looked puzzled. "Poor thing. I hope she will be able to get through this. So what happened at the gallery?"

They were IT specialists and security data analysts from Poland. They worked with two notorious female jewel thieves who infiltrated the company as security guards. The security company was also scrutinized for the identity of the suspects. One of the suspects died during the capture. He was the handler, and they were all arrested, and the jewelry bag was retrieved from the roof floor. Cartier was so thankful for the diamonds that were found.

They called the Seo family to stay in contact with their prize worker. They even wanted to pay for all her hospital fees, but it was already settled by the Jungs. Their hearts went out to her. More than five of the museum staff workers were treated for minor cut wounds. For them, it was an action-packed evening to talk about for a long time. Some had already bought flowers for Noemie and Taehyung, which were taken to their private hospital rooms.

The family left the hospital before midnight to go home and sleep. Her mom will be at the hospital early to check on her daughter. Ha-Ni and Anais will go during visiting hours. They hope their friend will be okay.

Hoseok was out of his element with the news. The Bangtan Elites went home very exhausted but relieved that the two patients were out of danger and in their hospital rooms under sedation. Dilraba was beside herself with fear of losing her boyfriend, but Yoongi and Yeonra made sure she was taken home to go to sleep. Taehyung's immediate family is with him now. They hope he will not be negatively affected by the shooting in his gallery.

Arthur looked at his cousin-boss and asked, "Are you okay, Hoseok?" when he noticed him combing through his messy hair.

Hoseok sighed. "I just hope she is okay when I visit her tomorrow." He also needed to come clean to his parents, as they sent him an urgent text to come to them before he got to his apartment. He might as well spend the night with his parents.

He felt so inwardly excited about his unborn baby, and he wanted his baby to see the light. Fear was nestled in his heart, thinking that his girl would not be able to handle the loss of their first child. He will make sure he is there for the woman he loves.

Gervais, who stood near him, nodded. "She will be okay," he said, patting Hoseok on the back. Arthur would drive Gervais back to the hotel.

"I know," Hoseok remarked quietly. His mind was too clouded, thinking about his girl and the fact that he needed to tell his parents the truth. The fact that he would be a dad was more vivid in his mind right now. He just hopes that Jessica will not find out. She will be devastated not only to lose him but also to find out that another girl will give him what he always desired. Being a devoted family man.

He hopes Noémie's family will not kill him because he genuinely loves this girl and wants a life with her and his unborn child. Nothing will keep them apart. Now that he found true love, he will cling to it, as if his life depended on it. Noémie makes him so happy and he never felt at home in someone's presence like Noémie.

He just nodded his head. "Gervais, Arthur, I'll be seeing you. I need to go to my parents first and sort things out."

He quickly greeted the guys when he saw Noémie's doctor. He asked about Noémie's room number and when he could visit her when she was awake. The doctor smiled graciously, her eyes sparkling. She wondered if he was family with the patient. He is so cute and one of Seoul's creme ala creme.

Hoseok signed deeply when he entered his estate. It was already past midnight, but his parents were sitting in the lounge drinking tea when he arrived. He was so exhausted, and the day was trying.

He bowed deeply as he greeted his parents who looked at him with amused eyes. Hoseok just shook his head, knowing they had a suspicion, and he plopped down on the purple-grey velvet sofas with his eyes closed. His parents looked discreetly at each other. 

His father cleared his throat. "Er, son, do you have something to tell us?"

Hoseok opened his eyes slowly and looked at the inquiring looks. " Like what?" he asked innocently.

His mom sighed and just dropped the bomb, "Are you responsible for Ara's condition."

Hoseok's eyes widen. "Well, the cat is out of the bag. Yes, Eomma, but I also found out today. Noémie was afraid to tell me. She found out two days ago, and I'm sorry, parents."

His father smirks. "So you and Noémie are an official couple now?"

Hoseok smiled happily and said, "Yes. We are dating officially, but now that she is carrying our child, I would like to make our union permanent."

His parents looked elated, and his father smiled. "Your dreams are finally coming true. You are going to be a dad. But do you know the challenge with Noémie's health?"

Hoseok looked saddened. "Yes, her womb is unable to carry a baby full-term... Appa, what am I going to do? I don't want her to lose our baby." He looked a little fearful.

His mother came and sat next to him, giving him a comforting side hug. "We are going to get a second opinion. Dad knows a very excellent gynecologist from Mumbai. He had given Dr. Ayaan Kumar a called already. He is one of the Sheiks' recommendations. He will be here in a day or two, working with Noémie's gynecologist.  India is the best in that field. His parents burst out laughing. Hoseok has a lot of explaining to do. His mom wonders how Jessica will react to the news that her ex-boyfriend is going to be a father.
