⚽️Prologue⚽️
Hwang International School
Sullyoon pov🥀
"Please be quiet! ...shh!" Two pair of eyes peek out from behind a hidden wall, closely watching the object they were interested in. The hallways were quiet, but the seniors lockers were nearby.
The grey metal lockers had the school's crest carved above each door.
"Be quiet; he might hear us," one of the girls said, fixing her big glasses as she looked at her friend, who was trying hard not to laugh.
Her friend had high brown pigtails and a playful look in her eyes. "Wow, he's really good-looking, Sully! Why are Spanish-Asian guys so attractive? Seriously, just talk to him now!"She giggled, raising her eyebrows at her embarrassed friend.
Sully looked at her friend with a deadpan expression, her chubby cheeks a bit bright red," Leeseo! Are you crazy? He doesn't even know I exist I’m okay just admiring him from afar,” she said, looking at him as if he was the only person that mattered to her.
His eyes were smiling as he stood by his locker, reading something that clearly made him happy. The boy was wearing a black hoodie with a big red "B" on the front and had a black mask covering half of his face.
His lightbrown hair stuck out from under a black baseball cap, and he had a brown leather backpack on his back. He took a bunch of red and white roses from his locker and smiled as he typed on his phone.
When he opened a cream-coloured envelope and found a beautifully decorated, floral-scented note, and his favourite slab of chocolate, than his eyes softened and became more genuine as he read the words that filled up is entire being with delight.
"I know things can get rough sometimes, but remember—you're one of the most remarkable people I've ever known. When I feel the need to give up, I just look at how hard you are pushing yourself and know that even if I don't see you ever again, you are going to take the world by storm and crush it. All the best, and be happy and prosperous."🍄
The message usually concluded with a charming mushroom emoji but no name. He even gave the name it Pixie after the cute whimsical aesthetics of mushrooms in a fantasy land.
Then he frowned slightly, searching around as if to find the sender. Shaking his head, he tucked the flowers inside his bag just as a group of bantering and arguing boys arrived within his sight. He does not want to raise their curiosity.
He gave them a big smile. "Olá, José! What kept you? Coach wants to take us to lunch to celebrate our final victory against Shinwa Academy!" Taehyung yelled while patting his back. "We won the high school cup and now we are birdie free from this luxury prison!"
The boy rolled his eyes and scrunched his nose, saying, "Tae-tae! How many times have I told you to stop calling me that? I'm Park Jimin. Anyway, let's leave before Coach has a meltdown," he joked. He grabbed his friend in a tight head lock, causing him to shriek, but laughingly released him.
The most popular boys at Hwang International School looked so easygoing. They were the It-boys, dating only the most beautiful girls in school. The group laughed and gave Taehyung high-fives for poking fun.
"We're going to miss you, Jimin. Just one last week to get on your nerves before you're out of here, off to Argentina," another friend chimed in, pulling his cap off than ruffling Jimin's hair.
Jimin sighed, playfully shoving his friend before trailing behind them towards the school's front yard.
From their hiding spot, the two girls exchanged wide-eyed glances.
"Did you hear that, Sullyoon?" Leeseo said, nudging her friend, "Your crush is leaving Korea. And here you are, writing love notes instead of just talking to him all these years. You should've told him in person!"
Sullyoon pushed up her slipping glasses, sighing, "I know, Leeseo, but I'm terrified of rejection. Besides, they're not love notes. They're just little messages to encourage him. Seeing him happy when he reads them... that's enough for me."
Leeso pouted, "Seriously, Sully, Jimin's graduating in a week and moving back to Argentina to join a major youth soccer club in Argentina. It's now or never!"
Sullyoon's eyes widened, "How do you know all that?"
Leeso shrugged, grinning, "I'm not living under a rock, you know in my own 'Jimin world'. Anyeon told Ruka and Rora that Jimin had broken up with Chiquita because he was not interested in maintaining long distance relationships. They are both seniors and are graduating this year. We are going to miss our eye candy. I wish Taehyung could see the real me... but he is also graduating and might get married to Ruka."her eyes were following the rowdy group with longing eyes.
Sully could only sighed because the soccer team is dating the most beautiful cheerleader girls at school. Jimins' girlfriend had the visuals of a goddess, way above her league. Sully was always a wallflower, a quiet little unpopular, unassuming girl at school even if her brother Namjoon was highly popular. He didn't want to put her under the radar of his friends or team mates.
Linking arms, Sullyoon and Leeseo left the hallway chatting. Sullyoon's heart swelled with mixed emotions. She couldn't believe her crush had ended things with his high school sweetheart to pursue his dreams in Argentina. She felt regretful but smiled, knowing her notes had brought him joy. They had something in common, too—both had Argentinian roots.
Hwang International School was prestigious for Seoul's elite, including the kids of diplomats,Chaebols, Corporations CEOs, Politicians, Academics like uni Professors, Doctors, Lawyers and kpop artists. Sullyoon's brother, Namjoon, was in Argentina, their late mother's homeland, attending university and playing in a youth soccer league, while their father was a renowned criminal prosecutor in Seoul.

Jimin Pov ⚽️
Meanwhile, as Jimin's car approached his family's estate, he leant back, lost in thought about returning to his birthplace—the place his Korean grandparents immigrated to in the 1960s to settle in Argentina—as part of a governmental programme to increase the country's agricultural production in Argentina.
Later, his grandparents became wealthy billionaires in the clothing industry. He and his twin sister, Rose, were born in wealth in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Their father's tech corporation extended to South Korea and Japan, while their mother, a famous fashion designer, had long dreamed of opening a design house in Argentina.
After five years, the family decided to immigrate back home, especially when Youth soccer league coaches in Argentina came and scouted some of Seoul's promising soccer talents. A year ago, his team captain Kim Namjoon, also a fellow half-Argentinian, was scouted for the same league, and he got a scholarship to one of the most prestigious universities.
He and his best friend Taehyung, an Italian-Korean, were scouted just as their senior Namjoon and will attend the same university in Argentina on a full sports scholarship.
A soft smile crossed Jimin's face as he thought of his "secret fan-Pixie" a mysterious supporter who had sent encouraging notes on elegant, pink-scented paper for years. Her words had always lifted his spirits and strengthened him when he needed them most.
He always played well when he had a match, knowing she might be screaming and encouraging him in the crowd. His bestfriends, Tae secretly tried to find the Pixie girl but to no avail. He felt regretful that he couldn't even thank her for the four years of total devotion towards him. Even his parents had admired the impact of her notes, with his mom once saying that the girl must have a prolific gift for writing that resonated in the heart.
Jimin regretted that he might never meet her. He started dating the most beautiful queen bee in Year 2, Chiquita, but they decided to call off their relationship because she would be going to Senegal after graduation. Her parents are Thai diplomats who have been reassigned for a new mission in Senegal and will relocate. They still care for each other but are not interested in long-distance relationships.
As the car pulled up to his family's home, nostalgia weighed on him. He glanced around, taking in the mansion and the memories they would soon leave behind.
Though he was leaving Seoul, he knew he would never forget the faceless fan who always seemed to know exactly what he needed.
