ย  ย ย  A FEW months have passed, Andrea's album was one song away from being finalised and she couldn't be more excited. She just wasn't able to write that one final song for some odd reason, even with the help of Luke, Sierra and Ashton, it just wasn't happening.

While Calum had been spending much more time with Maggie and it was affecting him. And everyone saw it. And it seemed to be as if Maggie was on a mission and it was making sure Andrea wouldn't go near Calum alone.

The brunette sat on the balcony, guitar in her hands, strumming on the strings, trying to find a tune she liked, humming a certain melody โ€” one she wrote years ago and was finally being put into her album. Her eyes fluttered shut as she took a deep breath.

"And there's no way that I'll end up being with you
But friends don't look at friends that way
Friends don't look at friends that way"

Andrea stopped strumming on the guitar, her head snapped up as soon as the words left her month. The realisation hit her like a truck. She was still in love with Calum, even through she had tried to buried those feelings. Those feelings were slowly coming back into the light. She leaned her head against the glass.

The brunette stood up but stopped as soon as she heard the front door slam.

"Calum!" Maggie's voiced echoed, "your acting as if I did something wrong?"

"So you didn't just tell Maddy to fuck off, then?" Calum snapped, eyebrows furrowed together in frustration, "she didn'tโ€”."

"She's a shit talking bitch," Maggie stated, her arms crossed against her chest.

"Here we go again," Calum muttered as he shook his head, "you don't get to call my friends names, Maggie."

Maggie furrowed her eyebrows at the Mฤori boy, "it's not name calling if it's actually true."

Calum rubbed his temples, "your the one going around on social media say that you think Ashton can do so much better!"

"Well, he can," Maggie stated,, "she's such a bore."

Calum stared at her blankly before taking a deep breath, his finger pointing towards the door, "get out," he hissed.

"You can't kick me out?" Maggie yelled.

Calum shook his head, "it's not your place, Maggie. . . Please just leave."

Maggie scoffed, grabbing her bag and walking out the door. Calum rubbed his face, grabbing another pack of cigarettes and making his was over to the balcony. He hadn't notice Andrea sitting there. "You know, these are extremely bad for you," Andrea voiced causing Calum to slightly jump and face her.

"You heard all that?" He questioned the brunette.

"Do you want me to lie?" Andrea questioned.

Calum sighed as he puffed out smoke, "I dunno know." He sat beside her, "can we stop talking about what just happened?"

Andrea furrowed her eyebrows in confusion and cocked her in his direction, "what happened?" She questioned causing Calum to playful nudged her shoulder and shake his head.

"You writing a song?" He asked.

Andrea nodded, "yeah. . . Wanna help?"

Calum nodded, leaning towards her to get the guitar and started to strum a certain tune, causing Andrea to grab the notepad beside her. The two started to sing, smiling at each other. Their heartbeats raising if one of them either leaned in too much or just sand the right note.

"I'm in love with Tyler Durden," Andrea sang.

Calum's continued, "that's why this shit ain't never working for me."

"I'm in love with a fantasy," Andrea ended it. The two stared at each other for a few moments before bother their eyes flicker down to each other's lips, Calum leaning in slowly.

"Ah," Andrea mumbled as she spring up causing the the Mฤori boy to glance any where but her, "I have to meet Lu."

And with that Andrea had walked off.

Calum now sat in the place Andrea was. The guitar in his hands, strumming a tune that him and Luke were working on, "You got a million reasons to hesitate," he sang, looking out into the city, "but darling, the future is better than yesterday," he continued, "I wasted so much time on people that remind me of you," he finished, still strumming the guitar. His mind wonder off to Andrea the whole time he was playing. He sighed putting the guitar down and made his way back inside.

His hands turned the doorknob, his eyes traveled down to the silver bracelet that rested on his wrist. He hadn't taken it off once, afraid that he might lose it. The word home engraved onto made his heart flutter. His mind wondering back to the time she had brought her the promise ring she still wears. A smile made its way across his face.

Maybe, he wondered. Just maybe. He'll have the courage to tell her. One day.
