"Will,"

Will looked up as Mazikeen walked inside his office, 

"Hey, Mynx, what's up?"

Mazikeen sighed, 

"Well, Crosshair is being difficult. He only really listens to Optimus or Alex, which is slowly getting on my nerves...but at the same time, I can't say anything since it is their customs, you know?"

Will nodded and stood up. He walked closer to Mazikeen and put his hand on her shoulder, 

"Mynx, if anyone can do this, it's you, okay? I know it's hard right now, hell I still sometimes struggle with some recruits here. Even if we temporarily stopped recruiting for now,"

Mazikeen nodded and looked down, 

"I don't want to mess up again,"

Will frowned and shook his head, 

"Mynx, you never messed up...that whole thing with Sentinel is not your fault. Hell, you almost died fixing that mess up,"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"I guess so-"

"No guess. Maze, you did not mess up. I don't want you thinking that. I fear the day that the Autobots might not have you as their liaison again,"

Mazikeen frowned, 

"No one really spoke to me about what happened when I was gone, just that it felt like a part of them was gone,"

Will looked down and sighed as he felt pain course through him at the memories of that month. Will sat down on the floor and patted a spot next to him. Mazikeen quickly sat next to him, and he wrapped an arm around her as she leaned against him, 

"Well...I'll start at the beginning. Jazz came speeding into my room. I was doing some work, and he ran in with his holo-form, scared me half to death, and told me, you disappeared again. In a very rushed way might I add. It took me a solid second to process what he said. He was freaking out and blaming himself and apologizing, and I hope you did speak to him about it. But then we we started looking. We went to every single place I could think of, and then we checked the places he thought you could be. I called Sarah, and Ironhide went to check around there. We didn't find anything. Samantha tried tracking you with that ring that you gave her...But, still nothing...Mynx...it was hard. We started spreading out, Epps was calling in every single person he knew, Eddie called all the first responders, he took Smokescreen and Tex to fan out more...We didn't know what to do...POTUS gave us some leeway because we all fought for the Autobots. The general and I fought tooth and nail to get POTUS to give them a break because we needed to find you. No one spoke to any agency about how you have the AllSpark power by the way, also no one knows about Ham still so don't worry about that. Then Ham started searching different Universes for you, and Ironhide and Ratchet made sure she didn't over-exert herself. It was hard after a week...when two weeks hit some people lost hope and I was getting asked when the memorial was...three weeks and I sent Jazz and Bumblebee to find Sam and Mikaela to tell them...I want you to know that we never gave up hope though, none of us originals,"

Mazikeen sighed and looked at her hands, 

"When I opened my eyes...I was in the middle of a battle. Which is not abnormal for whenever I teleported...But I saw Starscream...and I saw two Autobots I had never seen before, and Arcee had a different color scheme. Megatron refused to die many times, so I didn't really think about it too hard. I knew I could ask Optimus after the battle finished...but then this kid was in the middle of it all, and she was hiding. I got her out using Phoenix before running back in with my lightsaber and twin guns. Phoenix could not get through to Optimus, which is part of our protocol, and I knew something was wrong...I couldn't feel any of the bonds I had...after the battle, I realized that they had no idea who I was. We went back to their base, which was an abandoned military silo, much weirder than our base here...but KIDS knew the Autobots Will! Kids were stuck in this war and I have never felt more scared...No one knew me, they had their own military liaison, this agent called William Fowler...and the kids are Miko, Rafael, and Jack. Jack's mother knows about them, and none of the other parents do. The Autobots are protecting the kids, but still...I can't believe there is a universe where not just soldiers are in this war, but KIDS."

Will sighed and shook his head, 

"I can not imagine Annie being in this,"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"That's who I thought about too...I gave them a droid, a phoenix to watch over them,"

Will smirked, 

"Knowing you, you can communicate with that droid,"

Mazikeen sighed, 

"I haven't tried, I'm afraid that it won't work,"

Will nudged her, 

"No time like the present. Try,"

Mazikeen nodded and deployed Phoenix, 

"Phoenix, connect to our little friend and transmit a message,"

Phoenix nodded and held out her hand, and a hologram formed of Miko with Raf and Jack by her side, 

"Miko!"

Miko turned, and she gasped as she spotted Amber projecting a hologram of Mazikeen and a guy sitting next to her, 

"MAZIKEEN!"

Jack and Raf immediately turned around and saw the hologram, 

"MAZIKEEN!"

They heard Mazikeen laughing, and Miko immediately ran closer to Amber, 

"Maze, you are okay! Jackie told us you were, but we were all so worried about you!"

"I'm alright, Miko, how are you three?"

Jack glared at Miko, 

"Someone got us into trouble again,"

Miko gasped, 

"Hey! It was our only solution!"

Raf shook his head, 

"We were almost smushed by that train if not for Optimus-"

"Woah woah, did you just say train?"

Jack nodded, 

"Yeah, we went onto a moving train to stop these terrorists from getting weapons from the government. Fowler called us,"

They saw Mazikeen look at the guy next to her with a frown,

"What are these guys called?"

Miko smirked, 

"They call themselves MECH, and they work for this guy that's called Silas. We had a few run-ins with him. He took Bee's transforming thing,"

Mazikeen's eyes widened, 

"His t-cog??"

Raf sighed and nodded, 

"Yeah...but we got it back,"

Mazikeen looked at her friend again, 

"We have to make sure that never happens here,"

He nodded, 

"Yeah, especially because of the black market deals for weapons,"

Jack frowned, 

"Did you just say someone was stealing we-"

"Don't worry about it, Jack. But I want you three to promise to be extra careful. It's dangerous fighting. Especially if you are fighting humans, too. We have protocols for that over here, and you need to make sure that no Autobot hurts a human more than necessary. I know Agent Fowler probably debriefed the Autobots about it, but still-"

Miko waved her hand in dismissal, 

"Don't worry, Maze, we got it covered,"

Jack rolled his eyes, 

"By that, she means we will be extremely careful,"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"Alright, good. Oh, and this is my best friend, William Lennox, we fought together for a long time,"

Will smirked, 

"Too long if you ask me,"

The kids laughed while Mazikeen slapped his shoulder in offense. Miko smiled brightly, 

"Any crazy adventures yet?"

Mazikeen chuckled and shook her head, 

"Not yet. I'm still catching up on all the paperwork from the time I was with you kids. Tell the Autobots over there I said hi. If you need me, ask your little friend for me,"

Miko smiled proudly, 

"I named her Amber,"

Mazikeen chuckled, 

"Alright, good name. Ask Amber to patch you into Phoenix, and she can. It will automatically go through unless we are in a fight,"

"Alright, but you should call too again,"

Mazikeen chuckled, 

"I'll try,"

Miko nodded, 

"Bye, Maze!"

Raf waved, 

"Bye!"

"Bye, Maze!"

"Bye, kids,"

Amber stopped transmitting the hologram and flew over to Miko's shoulder again. Miko smiled brightly and pulled the two boys into a small group hug, 

"Maze is alright!"

Jack laughed and patted her shoulder, 

"We told you she was,"

Miko shrugged, 

"I was still worried,"

Raf nodded, 

"I was too,"

Jack sighed and shrugged, 

"Alright, I was a little worried too,"

Ratchet walked over to them, 

"What is going on here?"

Miko looked up to Ratchet with a huge smile, 

"Maze just called! She is alright!"

Ratchet tilted his head, 

"How did she call? She is in a completely different universe,"

Miko grabbed Amber and raised her, 

"Amber can connect to Phoenix!"

Ratchet nodded, 

"Alright, we might use that ability later on to help us fight MECH,"

Raf frowned, 

"She was worried when we mentioned it to her,"

Jack nodded, 

"Yeah, we have to be extra careful from now on,"

Ratchet nodded, 

"Do not worry. We will not allow anything to happen to you kids,"

Miko nodded, 

"Thank you,"
