Mazikeen slowly opened her eyes and looked to her side to see Jazz and Tex still recharging. She smiled softly at the two and slowly got out of her bed. She walked out of her room to smell breakfast, she ran down the stairs to the kitchen with a bright smile on her face, 

"Sarah, good morning!"

Sarah laughed and smirked at the younger woman, 

"You sound awfully chipper this morning,"

Mazikeen shrugged, 

"I have no complaints today,"

Sarah chuckled, 

"Well, your brother is still sleeping in the guest room with Mikaela, and Will went outside to talk to Ironhide,"

Mazikeen nodded,

"Yeah, Sammy never wakes up early, what about Epps, Eddie, and Fig? I literally don't remember getting here last night,"

Sarah smirked,

"Oh, you fell asleep on the ride here. Will and Jazz took you to your room and I got you changed. Are Jazz and Tex up yet?"

Mazikeen blushed at the instigation, 

"No...they are both still asleep,"

Sarah hummed,

"Okay, Everyone else went back to base after you left to go talk to your mother, Arcee left after she got Mikaela back here. Bumblebee is somewhere outside too,"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"Okay, that makes sense,"

"So, we aren't going to talk about Jazz?"

Mazikeen groaned and shook her head, 

"Nothing to talk about,"

Sarah nudged her, 

"Will told me he has been sleeping in your room for a while now,"

Mazikeen blushed and shrugged, 

"He keeps the nightmares away,"

Sarah's eyes widened in surprise, 

"When was the last time you had them?"

Mazikeen looked down and shrugged, 

"The last really bad one was the last time I was at the house with my parents and Sammy,"

Sarah smiled softly and hugged her, 

"I'm happy for you, Maze, I genuinely am,"

Mazikeen smiled at her,

"Thank you...for everything, for housing me the past six years...for being my second mom,"

"Maze, just never forget that you are a part of this family,"

"I won't...I'll go get Annie,"

Sarah sighed in relief,

"You should stay longer,"

Mazikeen laughed and winked at her,

"You would love that,"

Mazikeen walked over to the living room where she knew Annabel was sitting in her small bassinet. She easily picked up the two-year-old and walked over to Sarah. Annabel grabbed onto Mazikeen's hair and she winced, 

"You lil bugger, I hope you know that hurts,"

Sarah laughed, 

"Oh, she knows,"

Mazikeen handed Annabel over to Sarah after they both carefully got Annabel to let go of her hair, 

"Well, after that torture, I'm going out to talk to Will and Ironhide,"

Sarah nodded, 

"Have fun,"

Mazikeen easily found the two and walked up to them, 

"Good morning!"

Will smirked, 

"Good morning,"

Ironhide nodded his head,

"Hello, Maze,"

"So, anything new?"

Ironhide nodded, 

"Will and I are leaving right after breakfast to go back to the base. Three new Autobots have been found and taken back to base,"

Mazikeen's eyes widened, 

"Why am I the last to find out?"

Will patted her shoulder, 

"Because, you were out for a while. We are getting one new recruit too, well there is definitely more to come but today someone is coming later today, her father is in the navy and she performed very well in training."

Mazikeen nodded, 

"Okay, well, Jazz and I are going to leave with you,"

Will shook his head, 

"You guys are leaving after Ironhide and I, not enough room for the five of us,"

"Tex is tiny,"

"Okay, still not enough room for four of us,"

Mazikeen sighed and nodded, 

"Okay, fine, but we are leaving a few minutes after you, send another plane,"

Will chuckled, 

"Eager to get back?"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"Of course I am,"

Will chuckled and wrapped an arm around her, 

"Okay, let's get some food, Ironhide, anything else?"

Ironhide shook his head, 

"No, everything else is all set,"

Will nodded and Mazikeen looked at him, 

"Can you give me the names?"

Will laughed and nodded, 

"Just don't tell anyone, including Jazz,"

Mazikeen tilted her head in confusion, 

"Why not?"

"Because, an old friend of his joined us, and he specifically asked us to not tell Jazz so he could surprise him,"

Mazikeen smirked and nodded, 

"I am so down, so! Names!"

"Okay okay, Bluestreak, Smokescreen, and Prowl. Prowl is the Jazz's friend. I have been told that Bluestreak is pretty much the Cybertronian version of ADHD. He talks all the time and seems to really like us. Smokescreen has a child-like personality, very eager to help, and apparently is very charming-"

"Who the frag told you he was charming?"

Will sighed, 

"Elita-One,"

Mazikeen's eyes widened, 

"Elita-One said that someone was charming?"

Will nodded, 

"Yeah,"

Mazikeen slowly nodded, 

"Damn, he gotta be extra then,"

Will chuckled and they walked into the room. Sarah was quick to give them both a large plate of food and the small family ate peacefully, and Will left with Ironhide after hugging his wife and daughter. Sarah smirked, 

"You should go wake up your son and Jazz,"

Mazikeen's eyes widened, 

"Oh shit...yeah,"

Sarah chuckled and Mazikeen ran up the stairs and opened her door to see Jazz still recharging with Tex on his chest. She smiled softly and nudged Tex,

"Tex, wake up,"

Tex grumbled but opened his optics to stare at her, 

"Hello, mom,"

Mazikeen smiled and picked him up, 

"Hey, Tex,"

Tex looked around and saw Jazz still recharging, 

"We should wake up Jazz,"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"Yes, we will right now,"

She immediately punched him in the stomach and he shot up, 

"Hey!"

"Ho!"

"Let's go!"

Mazikeen burst out laughing with Tex and Jazz groaned, 

"How long was I recharging?"

Mazikeen shrugged, 

"I have no clue, but come on, we have to get back,"

Jazz nodded, 

"Okay, I will wait outside for you,"

He disappeared and Mazikeen put Tex down, 

"Go outside and wait for me, I'll be right out,"

Tex nodded and left. Mazikeen quickly threw on one of her army tank tops and camouflage pants before leaving the room. She hugged her brother and Mikaela goodbye and promised to text them later. Then she put Phoenix back into her pocket and hugged Sarah, 

"I'll be back,"

"I know, sweetheart, just stay as safe as you can,"

Mazikeen smirked, 

"Always,"

Sarah smiled and nudged her, 

"Now, go, you have two Autobots waiting for you,"

Mazikeen laughed and nodded, 

"I know, I'll talk to you later,"

"Bye!"

Mazikeen left and got into Jazz's alt-mode, 

"Let's go!"

"You ready?"

Mazikeen smiled and nodded, 

"Yes, I am,"
