Lexa, Hera and multiple grounders travelled with queen Nia's body in a wagon, the two girls were on horses as they rose next to each other.

" thinking about home? " Lexa asked, when she noticed the thoughtful look on the girl's face.

" Thinking about whether Arkadia is home " Hera replied pausing before she continued " When I left it had a different name.....I was different ".

" You left a hero to your people and you return one, the mountain slayer returns with the body of the ice queen " Lexa told her before looking at her " You bring them justice ".

" You bring them justice " Hera countered with raised eyebrows.

" We bring them peace " Lexa added and Hera looked at her girlfriend with a smile.

" Heda " a worrier called out cauing everyone to stop and they looked to the field besides them and saw a massacre of grounders.

Hera felt her heart sink at the sight.

Lexa and Hera hopped down from their horses and walked over to the massacre with two warriors with them.

" All bullet wounds " Hera frowned.

" Heda.....come quick " a warrior called from besides a tent in the distance.

Lexa quickly ran over with Hera behind her.

" Indra " Lexa called out, when she saw the older woman on the ground wounded.

" Heda " Indra groaned before she yelled in pain and Hera quickly ran over to her and lifted her armour and saw a bullet would.

" I need some bandages " Hera demanded.

" Stay away, your one of them " Indra hissed at Hera.

" Indra.....Let her help " Lexa said to the woman, Indra just looked at her commanders as Hera was handed some rags.

" Indra, what happened here? " the commander asked.

" they attacked while we slept, our watch was to the north looking for Azgeda, they killed our archers first.....our infantry couldn't get close.....then they executed the wounded " Indra told Lexa.

" The summit was two days ago.....how could Kane do this? " Hera shook her head in denial.

" It wasn't Kane " Indra replied before looking at Hera " It was Pike ".

Hera straighter up in realisation.

" How did you escape? " Lexa questioned.

" Bellamy " Indra said.

" Bellamy was with them? " Hera questioned confused as to why her brother would ruin the alliance.

" He wanted to spare the wounded but they wouldn't listen, he convinced Pike to let me live, so I could deliver a message " Indra said.

Lexa and Hera looked at each other.

" What message? " Lexa asked coldly as she looked back at Indra.

" Skaikru rejects the coalition, this is their land now.....we can leave or we can die " Indra told them.

Lexa looked at one of the men behind her " Send riders...." She then stood " I call upon the armies of the 12 clans, in a days time we lay waste t0 Arkadia and everyone within it's walls falls ".

Hera's eyes widened as the warriors nodded and let.

Hera stood and looked at her girlfriend with a pleading look " Wait.....give me time to fix this " She said before she tried walking away.

" Stop her " Lexa demanded and Hera stopped, when two warriors held spears up to her.

Hera turned to look at Lexa and asked " What are you doing? ".

" I can't let you leave, Hera " Lexa told her.

" So just like that, I'm a prisoner? " Hera scoffed.

" Yes " Lexa nodded.

" Lexa....let me go—" Hera started.

" No " Lexa cut her off quickly.

" At least let me talk to Kane? We can bring him here? " Hera pleaded and Lexa was silent as Hera kneeled in front of Indra " Indra at the summit Kane told me, he gave you a radio....a way to signal him....Please...do it ".

Indra looks at Lexa, who nodded.

" The bleeding's stopped, we have to get you something for the pain " Hera told Indra as she kneeled in front of the woman, who was laying on a bed, Lexa was on the other side of the room.

Suddenly the tent door opened and they looked and saw Octavia entering.

She hadn't really seen her sister since mount weather and by the way she was looking at Hera, she could tell her younger sister was still mad not that she blamed her.

" O? Where's Kane? " Hera questioned in confusion.

" He sent me " Octavia said before rushing over to Indra " Indra, thank god ".

" How did this happen? " Lexa snarled as she turned around.

Octavia stood and looked at the commander " Kane lost the election to Pike.....everything's different ".

Hera stood up as Lexa glared at Octavia.

" Your people voted for this " Lexa hissed.

" No, no...I don't believe that " Hera shook her head causing Lexa to look at her as Hera looked at her sister.

" What would you know, Hera? You haven't been here " Octavia scoffed at her sister.

" Listen to me...." Hera turned to her sister with a pleading look " the grounder army is gonna be here in less than a day.....I need to see Bellamy ".

" Bellamy was apart of this, he's with Pike " Octavia argued " What makes you think he'll help us now? ".

" He saved Indra's life " Hera defended, she wasn't about to give up on her brother, Octavia looked at Indra as Hera turned to Lexa " If what Octavia's saying is true then Pike trusts him, If I can get to him, he can get to Pike ".

" You can't just walk through the gates, Hera " Lexa snapped " You've been living with their enemy...if it were me I'd kill you on the spot ".

" I can get her in " Octavia spoke causing both girls to look at her.

" No " Lexa said.

" What do you mean, no? " Hera scoffed.

" It's to dangerous " Lexa simply said.

" Well, that's not your decision to make...." Hera told Lexa before looking her sister " Do it ".

Octavia nodded as Lexa glared at the sisters.

" Now I'm done " Octavia said before walking out and shut the door behind her.

" Go easy on her " Hera told her brother " I made her do it ".

" What are you doing here, Hera? " Bellamy asked coldly.

" We need to talk " Hera replied as she looked at her brother.

" oh, you've decided that......my little sister.....the mighty Wanheda " Bellamy scoffed as his anger got the best of him " Who chose the grounders over her own people....her own family, who turned her back on us, when we came to rescue you , now you want to talk ".

Hera walked out from the table as she spoke " I can here to tell you that the ice nation has paid a price......justice has been served for the attack on mount weather, I can here to tell you that it's over ".

" There it is again, why do you get to decide it's over " Bellamy snapped.

" We did our part " she assured him.

" We? " the older Blake scoffed.

" Lexa and I......" Hera started but paused before continuing " The ice queen is dead, the problem was solved and then you let Pike ruin everything ".

" Why are you here, Hera? " Bellamy asked as he stormed over to her.

" Arkadia needs to make things right.....or Lexa and the 12 clans will wipe us out " Hera told him.

" Let her try " Bellamy replied.

Hera sighed before closing her eyes and before she continued " Trust me, when I say going to war is not what you want ".

" We've been at war since we landed at least Pike understands that " Bellamy replied.

" Pike is the problem " Hera exclaimed " This isn't who you are, Bellamy ".

" You're wrong " Bellamy said with a cold expression as he began to yell " This is, who I've always been....and I let you and Octavia and Kane convince me that we could trust these people, when they have show over and over, who they are and I won't let anyone else die for that mistake ".

" enough, Hera " Bellamy interrupted loudly " You are not in change here......and that's a good thing because people die, when you're in charge, you were willing to let a bomb drop on our sister then you made a deal with Lexa, who left us in mount weather to die and forced us to kill everyone,
who helped us.....people who trusted me ".

Hera could feel her eyes burn as she tried to suppress the tears " I-I " she stuttered as she looked at her brother and saw something she had often seen, when Octavia looked at her.

Bellamy scoffed before he turned as Hera wiped her face harshly and sat down.

" I'm sorry " Hera's voice cracked causing Bellamy to look at her " I'm sorry for leaving.....but I knew I could because they had you ".

Bellamy's eyes soften and he walked over and kneeled in front of her as he grabbed her hand, it was silent a the two siblings looked in to each other's teary eyes.

" I know, we can fix this " Hera told her brother.

" I'm sorry too " Bellamy said and Hera smiled at him but that vanished, when Bellamy cuffed her to the table.

" Hey " Hera yelled as she pulled on the cuff and Bellamy walked out the room as she yelled after him.

" No, Bellamy, please, please " Hera banged her hand against the table in frustration.

Pike should be in his quarters " a gaurd said as he walked next to Bellamy, who was dragging a struggling Hera through the halls.

" Bellamy, you don't have to do this " Hera pleaded with her brother as he dragged her through the halls.

" Yes, I do " Bellamy replied.

" Just let me go " Hera struggled in his hold.

" Believe it or not, I am doing this for your own good " Bellamy snapped.

" Believe it or not, I'm doing this for yours " Octavia said before she kicked the guard to the ground.

" You can't just hit a guard " Bellamy yelled at Octavia.

" I just did....let her go " Octavia glared at her older brother.

" I can't do that " Bellamy replied as he pushed Hera behind him still holding her arm.

Suddenly they heard voices.

" Their coming, you should go " Bellamy told Octavia softly and Hera used his distraction to rip her arm out his iron grip and grab the taser rod from the unconscious guard and ignited it before she used it on Bellamy.

She threw it to the ground and grabbed something from the guards belt as Octavia grabbed her and pulled her down the hall and made it to the wall escape and saw Kane, Clarke and Abby.

" Clarke " Hera smiled as they hugged.

" We know, what happened, we know what Pike did " Abby said as the two girls pulled away " Is there anything we can do to prevent retaliation? ".

" hurry, Abby " Kane rushed.

" We came here to give them Pike " Octavia said.

" He's the duly elected chancellor, our people knew what they were voting for " Kane argued " Besides he has the guards and all the guns, we can't get close to him ".

" And that's not the way we do things " Abby added.

" Then maybe it's time to change the way we do things " Octavia argued.

They then heard the announcer order a lockdown.

" You two need to go now " Kane said to Hera and Octavia.

" What about Lincoln? " Octavia asked.

" You want to help him do it from the outside with this " Kane said as he handed Octavia a radio " Range isn't great but you stay close and wait for me to contact you ".

Octavia nodded before both girls entered the hole and Kane shut it behind them.

Hera entered the tent and Lexa's hard look soften slightly reviled that she was safe.

" Where's Octavia? " Indra asked.

" She's watching over camp " Hera replied.

" So tell us, Hera....how does this end? " Lexa questioned as she paced " Have you come up with a way to save your people yet again? ".

" No....Only you can do that " Hera shook her head " What happened here was an act of war, your army was here to help us and my people slaughtered them, you have every right to respond...." She paused and looked at the pacing Lexa before continuing " Every right to wipe us out.....or you can change the way you do things".

Lexa looked at her be withered.

" Why should she change? " Indra questioned " Blood must have blood ".

Hera turned to Indra " Really? because from where I stand, the only way that ends is with everyone dead " Hera then looked at Lexa " So what kind of leader do you want to be......the kind who kills every chance she gets because that's your way....or the kind who shows the world a better way ".

" You consider letting a massacre go unavenged, a better way? " Lexa questioned coldly.

" if it ends the cycle of violence.....yes, If it brings about peace, yes " Hera shrugged " Someone has to take r the first step.....let it be you " Lexa turned around and Hera quickly followed her " You say you want peace that everything you've done was to achieve that yet here we stand on the brink of another war.....a war you could stop ".

" Commander, you can't seriously be considering this " Indra called out as Lexa looked at Hera.

" I'm not considering it " Lexa said as she continued to look at Hera and Hera's breath hitched " I'm doing it".

" Heda, please " Indra pleaded as Hera sighed in relief.

" Indra, our people act as if war is easier than peace, if that's so....should we not try and achieve the more difficult goal? " Lexa said as she looked at Indra.

" Polis will not support you.....Titus—" Indra argued.

" Titus is my subject, they're all my subjects " Lexa yelled and she paused as looked at the wounded woman " Do you say they will defy me?.......Will you defy me? " Lexa asked with a cold look.

Indra hesitated before answering " No Heda, I will not ".

" Then let it be know " Lexa said and turned to Hera, who looked at the older girl softly " Blood must not have blood ".
