After leaving her...my beautiful newly found soulmate. I desperately wanted to be near her again but I knew I couldn't especially after what just happened.

I growled and pinned Alice against a nearby building.

I didn't care if someone saw us or if it revealed what my 'family' and I were. I doubt anyone actually cares if we're vampires. I've read enough of those human vampire novels to come to the conclusion that humans know we exist.

I can easily persuade any human and that they hallucinated whatever they saw.

My grip tightened on Alice and the cracks that had slowly been healing were slowly forming back and slowly growing onto her neck and going up half of her face.

I hissed "You both kept my mate and I away from each other!" Alice flinched.

Edward had tried to get involved but he too was pinned against the wall as Bella was looking at the ground sorting through everything going on.

Alice gasps out "We were trying to protect our family. She's a monster!" Bella looks up and stares at her former friend.

She then says "You both told me she'd kill me and she hadn't! She mostly stared at me like I was familiar to her! STOP LYING IF YOU BOTH KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU!" Alice's eyes widened as she realized that I wasn't going to let this go.

I tilted my head and narrowed my eyes at her. I then let her go and snarled at my two weak siblings.

What else were they hiding? Did they know who that girl truly is to me? Was she my mate? Did she know about this too? Did she want me?

I pulled myself out of my thoughts.

I snapped "You both have so much to answer for when we get back. Do not think for even a moment that I'll go easy on you for ANY secrets you are hiding from me!" I turned and left for the hotel.

I had finished packing my third suitcase. I hated this but I knew it was necessary. Sky brushed up against my leg and yipped at me for some attention. I smiled sadly at her and she hopped on my bed staring up at me. Picked her up and gently held her close to me.

I softly whispered "I know. I hate this too Sky." She whines at me.

I held her a little bit tighter in my arms not wanting this to be reality at all. I didn't mind traveling but it always meant that I'd have to leave my babies for extremely long periods of time. I fucking hated it everytime. I barely took missions or tasks anymore that required long distances. I preferred to stay close or with what my father and uncles have been preparing me for most.

Taking over the Volturi for them.

I softly sighed silently hating this whole thing...even if I knew it'll do good for not just me but also be good for my family too, at least in the long run.

I gently set her down on my bed.

She yipped at me again and rolled onto her back showing me her belly happily hoping to cheer me up. I smiled and laid on the bed next to her. She excitedly got up and jumped onto my chest laying on me, her snout just a few inches away from my face.

I wrapped my arms around her and gently brushed my fingers through her coarse yet soft burnt orange fur.

As the two were silently communicating in their own way and enjoying their solitude someone knocked on Aleksandra's bedroom door.

Sky jumps up and happily runs to the door scratching at it signaling for then person to come in.

A 6ft tall dark skinned man with short dreadlocks pokes his head in giving them a soft smile aimed at the two.

Alek smiles at him and waves him in.

She's known Santiago her whole life and he's the one who found her the day before she was turned.

He's been her not just her mentor but he'd also been her friend too.

She always considered him as an older brother to her.

Alek sits up and pats the spot next to her.

Santiago walks inside and closes the bedroom door. He gently picks up Sky who happily yips and tries to lick his face.

He sets the happy Sky on the bed next to Alek.

He then moves to sit next to Alek.

He softly says "You're my sister little raven. I always care about you and your well being. You know you don't have to do this right. None of us mind taking your place." She smiles.

Her mind had been on the words her Uncle Marcus had told her. 'Give your mate a chance to prove himself worthy of you sweetheart. People tend to surprise you with how they interact without all the chaos around them.'

It stuck with her.

She softly admits "I know I don't have

to go. I want to and not just for me but for all of us to finally be rid of the entire Cullen family one and for all." He nods.

He knew and understood her growing hatred towards the family...especially Carlisle.

What he'd done and the thing he'd said had almost made Santiago even loose himself and had him wanting to kill Carlisle himself.

He almost lost his little raven. She's his best friend and little sister who he adores. He sucks in a breath mostly and secretly hoping to somehow soothe himself. Santiago knew how rough life had been that year after Carlisle had been for everyone.

He gently says "Just be careful little raven. Keep your guard up. I'll even drop you off at the airport where our private jet is at too if you'd like." Alek smiles and hugs him.

They were like two peas in a pod.

~ Three Days Later ~
Alice slams her hands on the reception desk.

She screeches "WHAT DO YOU MEAN OUR FLIGHTS WERE CANCELLED!" The flight attendant Penelope sighs.

She hoped that the orders she was given would be enough to protect her and her job. She has to pay for her younger sister's schooling.

She smoothly yet calmly says "As I said, per our orders from the owner of the Airport, we've canceled your flights and you've each been refunded plus interest. The amount should be in your accounts around 3-5 business days. If you could please take a seat in the VIP Lounge then we'll have further instructions on where you guys should go." Alice scoffs and Edward sighs.

Bella was a different story...she'd been feeling numb almost like she was hollow on the inside. It was something inside her...had just shattered like fragile broken glass.

Since seeing the three kings and that auburn-brown haired girl who seemed to stare at her like she was a meal, Bella could feel nothing

good at least not anymore towards Edward or the rest of the Cullens. She didn't mind Damien who seemed to be a bit more protective even if he seemed saddened a bit about leaving Italy.

She secretly hopes that when she gets home she can put some distance between herself and the entire Cullen family...at least for a little while. She needed to get her own shit together. Ever since she'd been with Edward, she's noticed how much she's changed and definitely not in a good way.

Sighing as she sat in the chair nearby trying to gather her jumbled up thoughts together.

She flinched again as both Edward and Alice kept yelling at the airline employee demanding to speak with the owner of the airport or at least her manager. What pulled Bella out of her head was the uneasy silence coming from both Alice and Edward.

The echoing sound of whispers of several people who all seemed to stare at someone was coming towards the counter and Bella sighs slowly looked up and her eyes widened.

Not out of fear...well maybe a little bit, but mostly shock and curiosity.

As my boots hit the ground heading in the direction where the two Cullens were standing at the desk. The two of the three siblings looked in my direction, the look of fear seemed to coat their faces which seemed to satisfy my dark and twisted ideas I had planned for them and the rest of the Cullen family.

I softly smiled at Penelope who bows her head in respect. I bowed my head at her too.

She softly admits "Miss, you're here! These two have been angry about the changes you requested. They have also been nothing but rude, even scaring off several other employees and customers too." I could sense the fear in her voice just a tad bit about how horrible the whole ordeal mustve been for her.

I arched my brow and slowly turned to them. I shake my head at them. So naive and ignorant.

I already hate that I have to share a flight to Forks with the two of them.

I turned back to Penelope and my face softened.

I then tell her "Will you refund and email those customers that they've scared off and offer a free flight on us with no expiration date. Also any employee who witnessed their outburst and needs any help give them my fathers number. He'll help direct them to help should they need it and it'll be on us. I'll also be raising everyone's pay too, including yours. I do apologize Penelope for their outburst." I handed her my fathers number who would and knew about this.

She smiles sweetly as she rounds the corner tears filled her eyes.

She softly cries and says "Thank you miss! Th-this will help my sister and I out so much!" She hugged me and I smiled, hugging her back.

Letting me go she then smooths herself a bit and says "Your flight is ready as well and your brother Santiago has already put your cargo on there as well." I furrowed my brows wondering what she meant.

She sweetly smiles and guides us towards the gate.

Sorry about the long wait. 😅😅😅 Alek left for a bit to do her own stuff and then came back earlier today demanding my full attention. 😆

She hates it that I'm sharing this and is glaring at me lol. But she knows she's a badass.

Yes, I treat my characters as if they're real people and to me they are. They've all gotten me through a lot even when I'm at my worst.
