SEIDON WOKE UP HARSHLY after another incredibly vivid dream which seemed to be more than just in her mind. This man in her dream was messing with her head for over seven years, not sure why—but she was bound to get an explanation. She has searched for everything, but unfortunately, they all led to the same ending—a dead end.

Walking into her bright kitchen, she grabbed her cup of coffee that was already premade by Theo, a little pink sticky note stuck on the handle.

Going out for a few days

Love ya, babe

-Theo

Seidon put down the note and sighed lightly, annoyed that her boyfriend was rarely ever home anymore. It's as if he wasn't even her boyfriend at all. After she drank her coffee, Seidon got ready to go out, preparing to inhale the Chicago air.

As Seidon was walking on the streets of Chicago, she almost ran into several people, the man from her dreams stubbornly not leaving her head. It felt as if she was forced to think of this man like someone was in her head.

Zipping up her jacket, Seidon took in a deep breath, closing her eyes briefly from lack of sleep, before walking into a hardware shop for garden tools. Easily, she could use her powers—but there were times where Seidon enjoyed nature just like how humans took care of it.

Seidon was casually browsing through the isles, looking at garden shovels until she felt a presence next to her. Slowly turning her head around, Seidon's eyes widened, seeing the exact same man she saw all those years ago in the coffee shop, except this time, he didn't have his kid with him.

Seidon was having a war in her head, debating whether she should talk to the man or not. A small part of her head told her that he would have answers to these dreams, but Seidon decided to push away that subject for now.

Walking up to the man, Seidon tapped his shoulder, a high-pitched squeal escaping his lips. The man turned around, his eyes soon widening at the sight of the other Eternal.

Of course, Phastos attempted to compose himself, but he failed horribly, a small laugh leaving Seidon's mouth.

"It seems like the world is telling us to see each other again. Phastos, isn't it?" Phastos quickly changed his attitude to pretend that he didn't know her, so he played it off coolly, an unconvincing smile on his face.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm sorry about last time. I probably seemed like a creep," Phastos said sheepishly. Seidon laughed and waved her hand off, indicating that it was okay.

"Don't worry about it. Um, do you want to grab a coffee? I know it's ironic, considering the last time we met, but it'd be nice to make some new friends." Phastos was ecstatic to hang out with Seidon. She was considered one of the babies of the Eternals and being Phastos' personal favorite, he couldn't be happier for this moment. If only Druig could see him right now, he'd fly all the way to America just to kick Phastos out of his seat at the coffee shop.

The pair walked to the nearest coffee shop, Phastos pretending that they were both simple humans with simple human emotions. Seidon started to explain her work, being a marine biologist, minus explaining to him how she can control nature, assuming Phastos was jsut another human.

As for Phastos, he acted as if he didn't know anything about her. It was hard for him to not think about the past memories as she was talking. He simply wanted to tell her that he missed her and their family misses her too—but that would become overwhelming to her. The pair started to talk about Phastos' relationship which eventually led to the dreaded question for Seidon.

"So, do you have a lover? You seem like someone who would be taken," Phastos said somewhat discreetly. He was curious to see if Seidon found someone other than Druig, knowing that the emo boy himself would explode at the sight of Seidon with another man.

At this question, Seidon couldn't help but feel disappointment in her chest.

Why did I feel like he wasn't my boyfriend? Why am I hesitating? Seidon thought to herself.

"Um, yeah, I have a boyfriend. His name is Theo," Seidon said with slight distaste on her tongue. Phastos tilted his head in confusion, not sure why her tone of voice was like this. Phastos was extremely protective of Seidon, so if Theo were to do anything, he would be faster than Druig to have a talk with him.

"Why do you have that tone of voice when you talk about him?" Phastos didn't mean to pry, but he blurted it out from his subconscious.

"It's just—he never seems to be home anymore and I can't help but feel that he's che—"

"That he's cheating?" Phastos finished for her. Seidon nodded her head and placed her chin in her hands, letting out a frustrated sigh.

"Say if this Theo is cheating, then trust me, he is not the one for you. I'm sure there's a lot of men out there that deserve to have a beautiful woman like you." Seidon let out small a smile in awe, her heart feeling charmed.

"Thank you, Phastos. Your husband is really lucky to have you."

Time has gone by and Phastos and Seidon were talking non-stop. It was as if Seidon never forgot her memories to Phastos and he was talking to her old self. After exchanging numbers, Phastos was finally able to have a stable way to stay in touch with her.

Exiting the coffee shop, Phastos had a wide smile on his face, the happy feeling in his chest after catching up with his favorite Eternal.

But that moment was quickly cut off when Phastos was suddenly pushed into an alleyway, an inhuman amount of power pushing him against the wall, catching the Eternal off guard. Phastos was about to pull away from the random man—but then he recognized his eyes.

The gold eyes.

"Druig, what the hell are you going here?" Phastos said, straightening out his clothes.

"What? You guys said I shouldn't interact with Seidon, so I'm keeping tabs on her, here in America by seeing through others' eyes."

"By possessing people? That's a low blow, Druig. You never actually talked to her, did you?" Druig shook his head no in sadness, but anger started to well up again, seeing that Phastos was pretty much contradicting himself.

"Oh, so you can talk to my wife, but I can't?" Druig's voice started to rise, his temper starting to get the best of him.

"You guys aren't even married. Also, it was purely an accident when I ran into her, she asked me for coffee, and I accepted because who can reject those sweet puppy eyes?" Druig smiled softly, remembering Seidon's eyes that always threw him in a trance.

"It feels like we're married," Druig muttered to himself. "But if you are able to talk to her, then so am I." Druig started to walk away until Phastos grabbed his forearm, preventing him from going anywhere.

"Druig, she is not ready to know yet. We don't know what will happen if we overwhelm her." Druig harshly pulled his arm away from the other Eternal, walking away out of the alley. He stopped in his place to speak once more.

"You're not going to stop me, Phastos. I will make her remember me one way or another, whether you like it or not."

With that, Druig left a dumbfounded Phastos in the alleyway, knowing what Druig is doing can be a good thing or a really really bad thing and nothing can stop him.

Unless a death of a certain Eternal will bring all of them back together.
