[SEASON 2: EPISODE 6]
SINCE the dojo was completely destroyed, Daniel opted for students to help rebuild it.
Everyone came to Miyagi-Do and almost instantly started cleaning up the mess Cobra Kai had made.
Katherine didn't want to believe it, but she had a pretty good guess on who came up with the idea to wreck Miyagi-Do.
Robby and Katherine were trying to lift the rock with Demetri and Samantha.
The whole time had been none other than complete silence.
The only noise was of the rock shifting against the grass.
The reason for this silence was pretty obvious.
Well, not that much to Demetri.
But Robby and Katherine knew all too well.
Last night, they had almost kissed.
And the whole night, Katherine couldn't sleep. She kept thinking about it.
About what might have happened if they did kissed.
A sadness had slowly crept into her that night.
What if Robby didn't like her at all?
The thought lingered on her mind, refusing to be forgotten.
No matter how hard Katherine tried to get rid of the thought, it somehow always came back.
Robby's voice snapped her out of her thoughts. "Kat, listen, about the other night―"
Katherine glanced up at him, quickly cutting him off. "Nothing happened last night." She almost frowned at her own words. Her voice came out as if she was trying to convince herself more that nothing had happened the previous night.
A glint of disappointment flashed through his green eyes, though she didn't notice. "Right." He nodded, clearing his throat. "Exactly."
Samantha looked over at the two of them, envy sneaking its way inside her. She blinked a few times, averting her gaze, trying to brush off the feeling that was sinking inside of her.
A heavy, tired sigh escaped from Demetri's lips as he stood up, placing his hands lazily on his hips. "Are you guys lifting? Because I feel like I'm doing nothing here."
Robby fluttered his eyes shut for a moment, letting go of the rock. "Forget it, all right? It's too heavy. We're gonna need a forklift." He sighed.
Samantha shook her head, an exasperated look covering her features. "How did they even knock it over?" She placed her hands on her hips.
The voice of Daniel cut in. "It's a lot easier to knock something down than it is to lift it up. Don't worry. We'll get it up again." He assured, mustering up a small smile.
He wasn't exactly feeling his best today after seeing what had happened to the dojo he cared so much about.
The sound of feet shuffling against the grass filled Katherine's ears, her eyes widening slightly when they landed on Chris and a bunch of other students trailing behind him, including Isaiah.
"Uh... excuse me." Chris gained Daniel's attention, making the man turn around to face him. "Is this Miyagi-Do?"
Daniel's lips parted in slight shock, his eyes scanning over the few students that had entered. He blinked, a faint smile reaching up to his lips. "Yeah." He nodded in confirmation.
When Robby realized it was Chris from the mall fight yesterday, he immediately stomped over to him, anger coursing through his veins. "Come back for another beating?"
Eyes widening, Daniel put out an arm to stop Robby in his tracks. "Hey, Robby, Robby!"
Robby glanced at him with a look of disbelief, his hand reaching out to point at Chris. "This is one of the guys who was beating on Demetri." He explained. "Probably helped trash the dojo."
A shake of the head instantly came from Chris. "We didn't have anything to do with that." His eyes drifted toward Demetri. "But I am sorry about what happened at the mall." He shifted his gaze toward Daniel. "We just wanna learn Miyagi-Do karate."
"I'd be careful about this, Mr. L," Demetri spoke, not believing an ounce of what Chris was saying. "Letting the Cobra Kais into Miyagi-Do. It's like letting the wildlings behind the Wall."
With raised eyebrows, Daniel turned around to Demetri. "Didn't the wildlings help Jon Snow win the Battle of the Bastards?"
Demetri blinked. "Should've picked a different analogy." He muttered under his breath, pursing his lips into a thin line.
Because Katherine was standing beside him, she heard his words and let out a laugh, shaking her head lightly.

ROBBY AND KATHERINE were filling up one of the bonsais with soil.
Robby's eyes were glued to the inside dojo, where all of the Cobra Kai kids were with Daniel, meditating.
He shook his head, refraining himself from letting out a loud scoff. "I can't believe your dad let them in here." He said, referring to the Cobra Kai kids.
Katherine glanced back to where he was looking, and she shrugged. "He just wants to help them change."
"They won't. Can't change the way you feel."
Katherine knew he didn't mean it that way, but she saw a different meaning to his words.
She looked at him, almost as if she was hoping that he meant something else.
More specifically, about what happened yesterday. Or what didn't happen yesterday.
A quiet sigh left her, her hand using the shovel to pour another batch of soil into the bonsai pot.
Robby glanced up at her, noting the way her demeanor had slightly changed when he said that. "Hey, you okay?" He almost seemed a bit hesitant to ask that question.
Things were still pretty awkward between the two of them, so Robby wasn't exactly sure if Katherine was still willing to open up to him.
The brunette swallowed, her blue eyes drifting up to meet his green ones. "Yeah." She breathed, nodding her head subtly.
A frown rose on his lips, prepared to ask more but never got the chance to since a soft thud sounded.
They looked over at the source of the sound, spotting Demetri laying on the ground, Chris towering over him.
Chris had pushed him.
"Demetri," Samantha voiced, her blue eyes widening as she ran over to him. "Are you okay?" She questioned, helping the boy stand up.
Robby and Katherine got up on their feet, rushing toward them just as Daniel started to come out, having heard the commotion. "Whoa, whoa! What are you doing? We're on the same team now."
The scoff Robby had been holding in finally came out. "Once a Cobra Kai, always a Cobra Kai." He declared.
Daniel shook his head softly. "That's not true." He denied. "I know it's not true 'cause... I used to be a Cobra Kai." He admitted.
His confession caused Katherine's eyes to widen, shock flooding her features.
This was something Daniel had never told Katherine, Samantha, and Anthony.
"Come," Daniel gestured for all of the students to come inside.
They obliged, walking inside of the dojo and sitting down on the floor.
A deep breath left Daniel's lips as he scanned all of them, pacing back and forth.
"Cobra Kai sells power, strength," Daniel began. "And when I joined, I was... I was weak." He shrugged his shoulders a little with a soft shake of his head.
He swallowed, almost as if he as forcing himself to continue on with the story. "It was 1985. I had just won my first All Valley and Mr. Miyagi didn't want me to compete anymore."
His eyes drifted down toward the floor, head hung low a bit before he looked back up. "He never really liked the idea of fighting for trophies in the first place. So, he and I, we... got into this big argument."
The memory flashed through his mind, a small frown reaching up to his lips. "And what did I do? I joined Cobra Kai." He announced.
He glanced at all of the former Cobra Kai students. "I learned to strike first, strike hard, show no mercy. And it turned me into an angry and violent kid. It changed me."
Katherine scowled, lightly shaking her head. "You never told us about this." She spoke, gesturing to herself and Samantha.
Daniel settled his eyes on her, pursing his lips. "It's not something I'm proud of, Kat." He shook his head.
A deep breath left him after a beat of silence. "But my point is anyone can be seduced by Cobra Kai, even me."
"And I'll admit, Cobra Kai makes you feel stronger, tougher," He admitted, nodding his head slightly. "But it will also get you in trouble."
Sticking out a finger, he pointed to himself. "And that's what happened to me. I'm just lucky Mr. Miyagi was willing to take me back."
A faint smile made its way on Daniel's face. "So, remember, it doesn't matter who anyone was before they stepped into this dojo. All that matters is that right now, today, we are all Miyagi-Do."
♡♡♡♡
"OK, LET'S both do this fulcrum thing." Chris declared encouragingly over to Demetri.
A nod came from Demetri, inhaling a deep breath. "Together, on the count of three. One, two, three."
They let out small yells as they pushed the rock back up, heavy pants leaving them.
Daniel smiled at them. "Good job, guys. You see that? We all work together as a team, anything's possible." He praised.
Chris lifted his hand and tucked in his fingers to make a fist, holding it out for Demetri to fist-bump him.
But at the same time, Demetri held up his hand, prepared to high-five.
A confused look covered Chris' features, glancing between Demetri and his raised hand. "What?"
Demetri pursed his lips into a thin line, blinking a few times before wrapping both of his hands around Chris' fist, gently shaking it.
Katherine snickered, leaning toward Robby to whisper in his ear. "He's weird like that."
At her words, Robby let out a laugh, instantly making the girl's chest flutter.
The sound of his laugh managed to reach Samantha's and Isaiah's ears, both of them glancing up to see the way the two of them shared a laugh together.
Isaiah frowned, an unsettling feeling creeping into his chest and he forced himself to tear his eyes away from them.
Samantha felt the same unsettling feeling, yet her blue eyes were glued on the two of them, a sudden wave of anger and annoyance washing over her.

WHEN Katherine reached home, she felt the sudden urge to just watch her favorite show and eat a bunch of snacks.
After changing into more comfortable clothes, she made her way downstairs and went inside the kitchen.
Katherine searched through the cabinets for a chip bag.
A look of realization crossed her features and she shut her eyes in annoyance. "Shit." She muttered.
The day of the mall fight, Katherine had shoved all of the snacks she was willing to get into the hands of Isaiah.
After the mall fight, she completely forgot about those snacks and went home.
She sighed, shaking her head before grabbing the jar of soft cookies that Amanda had baked yesterday.
Katherine strode inside the living room, instantly spotting Samantha who was propped up on the sofa, her phone in her hands.
The older LaRusso sat down beside her, placing the cookie jar atop the small side table.
Just when Samantha was about to grab the remote that sat in the middle of the sofa, Katherine reached out and plucked it in her hands.
She didn't notice Samantha was trying to grab the remote until she let out an annoyed scoff.
Katherine turned to look at her, bewilderment sweeping her features.
"Seriously?" Samantha questioned, eyebrows crinkling together slightly. "Why do you always have to do that?"
Katherine's eyebrows furrowed in utter confusion. "What do you mean?"
"Steal everything." Samantha clarified, anger starting to bubble within her.
"Chill out, it's just a remote." Katherine rolled her eyes. "Can't you just watch in your room or something?"
Another scoff tumbling from her lips, Samantha shot up. "You do this all the time." She folded her arms. "You always steal everything."
Katherine knew damn well Samantha wasn't going on about the TV remote.
So, she stood up as well. "What is your problem? Lately you've been acting like such a bitch."
Disbelief flooded Samantha's features, a humorless laugh escaping from her lips. "A bitch?" She repeated, raising her eyebrows. "Really? Well, let me tell you something, Katherine, so are you."
Katherine scoffed, pointing to herself. "How am I acting like a bitch?" She drifted her finger to point at her little sister. "You're the one who's had it out for me ever since the day of the beach club and I don't even know why."
"You wanna know why?" Samantha raised her brows challengingly, taking a step toward her older sister. "The problem is you―"
"What is going on here?" The voice of Amanda butted in as she walked inside the living room with crossed arms, looking between both of her daughters questionably.
At the commotion, Robby came rushing down the stairs to see what was going on in the living room.
"Why don't you ask Sam?" Katherine jabbed a finger at the younger LaRusso, looking at her mother. "She clearly has some sort of problem with me and I didn't even do anything to her."
With a calm expression, Amanda turned toward Samantha. "Sam?"
"It's nothing!" Samantha exclaimed, completely exasperated. "God, just leave me alone." She muttered, running up the stairs toward her bedroom.
The sound of the door slamming echoed down the stairs.
Amanda's eyebrows furrowed in concern, and she turned toward Katherine. "What was all that about?" She questioned with a confused yet soft voice.
Katherine inhaled, shaking her head at her sister's dramatics. "I don't know. But it's certainly not my fault." She walked out of the living room and up the stairs to her bedroom.
"Katherine―" Robby tried, but she already disappeared into her bedroom.
