[SEASON 1: EPISODE 5]

DANIEL had to personally drag Katherine, Samantha and Anthony out of bed for a country club because he had to sort out a business deal. Once they arrived there, Daniel was quick to engulf in the conversation with his client, leaving the rest to grab food at the buffet table.

Katherine, Samantha and Amanda were grabbing food in silence when Amanda spoke up. "By the way, thanks for coming." She told Sam. "Thought you were gonna be out with your friends tonight."

Sam frowned a little bit before she replied. "Yeah, um... I don't know. Yas and Moon haven't been returning my texts."

Katherine frowned at that. "Why?"

"I don't know." The younger girl looked at her. "We were supposed to go to a concert together, and then I saw this." She pulled out her phone, showing the two what Yasmine had posted. Them at the concert without Sam.

"Suck it, bitches!" Yasmine yelled in the video.

"They really are bitches." Kat scoffed.

"Yeah, maybe it's better that you're not there with them. Anyway, we're always happy to have-" Amanda cut herself off, seeing Anthony drinking all of the butter from his seat on the table with Armand's son―Daniel's client. "Anthony! Stop drinking the butter!" She yelled, trying to keep her voice low.

"I'm gonna―Let's get your brother." Amanda rushed to Anthony quickly, while Katherine and Samantha glanced at each other, both trying to hold in their laughter.

Katherine and Samantha started walking towards the table, only to hear Anthony and Armand's child bickering.

"My dad owns buildings." He said.

"My dad owns cars." Anthony retorted.

"My dad make more money than your dad."

"My dad knows karate and could kill your dad."

Katherine's eyes widened, sharing a look with Sam. The two laughed softly, as Katherine shook her head in amusement at her brother's antics.

THE next day in the school cafeteria, Katherine was sitting with Aisha, waiting for Miguel, Eli and Demetri just like any other day. She noticed Sam walking to Yasmine's table, but when the blonde noticed her, she placed  her bag on the empty chair that was next to her.

Sam sighed, walking over to Aisha's table, setting her tray down and looking at Aisha with a hopeful look. "Oh, don't even think about it." Aisha said.

"Come on, I need a place to sit." Samantha pleaded.

Kat was about to reply 'yes' when Aisha cut her off. "You can go sit with Kyler. I hear he doesn't mind that you suck." Aisha shot back.

"Come on, Aisha." Katherine sighed, looking over at her.

Sam clenched her jaw and started walking over to Kyler, pushing him slightly. "You think it's funny to spread lies about me?" She crossed her arms.

"What are you talking about?" Kyler turned around to face the girl, pretending to be clueless. "We saw a movie, and that's it." He paused, a slight smirk forming on his lips. "Well, maybe I saw a little bit more than you."

"Yeah, we heard you got pretty choked up." Brucks laughed.

Katherine clenched her jaw at at their words, anger starting to bubble in her chest. Sam threw Kyler's tray on the ground, causing everyone in the cafeteria to go silent. Just as Miguel, Eli, and Demetri came, Kyler shouted, "hey, guys. You know that billboard with a big-ass dick on it? I guess Sam takes after her dad."

Everyone in the cafeteria started laughing, making Katherine even more angry. She stood up, about to confront Kyler when Miguel stopped her, sending her a reassuring look before looking back at Kyler.

"Hey, Kyler!" He shouted, putting his tray down on the table. "Why don't you shut the hell up and stop being such an asshole?" He spat, walking over to him.

"Want another beatdown, 'Rhea?" Kyler pushed Miguel. "I'm ready for your lame-ass karate this time." Kyler pushed Miguel even further. "It's not lame-ass karate." Kyler was about to punch Miguel when he grabbed his arm, twisting it. "It's Cobra Kai." With that, Miguel punched Kyler in the face, sending him back.

Katherine's eyes widened as all of Kyler's friends started lunging towards Miguel, all fighting him. Much to her surprise, Miguel was able to block all of their attacks perfectly. The brunette pushed Eli and Demetri back, making sure that they wouldn't get hurt. 

"No mercy!" Aisha shouted.

Abruptly, Miguel got on top of their table and kneeled with one foot, taking Katherine's tray in his hands. By the time Kyler ran towards him, prepared to hit him, the Diaz immediately struck the boy with the tray. Kyler instantly fell against the chair, and onto the floor.

Everyone cheered for Miguel, clapping. He stood up properly, seeing everyone applauding and making videos. His eyes moved around until they locked on Sam's, who was looking at him with a soft smile.

"Hey! Get down from there right now." Counselor Blatt stormed in the cafeteria, grabbing Miguel's hand atop from the table.

She dragged him down from the table as the students continued to clap for him. "Holy shit." Katherine breathed out with a smile. Her eyes flickered to Demetri's shocked face, "did that change your mind about karate?"

Demetri nodded slightly, "maybe," he paused a little, a frown forming on his lips. "Probably." He paused for another second, "yeah. It did."

A/N: I know I said I might put out the fifth chapter by my mom dragged me somewhere for the whole day so I couldn't and tmrw is school so I don't know but i'll try!!!
