[SEASON 1: EPISODE 4]

"HEY, Sam. Banana-rama chocolate chip pancakes are up." Daniel called out from downstairs, in hopes of getting Sam to come down and talk to him.

"Oh, sweet! Cha-ching!" Anthony's cheerful voice filled Kat's ears as she walked downstairs, rubbing her eyes tiredly. "Morning, dad." She greeted groggily.

"Morning, sweetheart." Daniel smiled as Katherine made her way to the table and grabbed a plate.

"Hey, hey. Save some for your sister, you know those are her favorites." Daniel said, seeing as Anthony took 3 pancakes.

"Oh, like, I don't like pancakes?" Anthony retorted.

"You like everything, you fattie." Katherine playfully said as Anthony glared at her for a second before he shrugged, "true." He agreed.

Daniel rolled his eyes at the two before shouting, "hey, come on, Sam! You're missing out!"

"Dad, I just woke up. I have sensitive ears, you know." Katherine slightly winced at the loud voice.

"Nice! Pancake taco." Anthony cheered.

"Really?" Katherine looked over in disgust.

"Come on, dude." Daniel said at the same time.

Katherine grimaced as she watched Anthony put frosting over it, a big smile prominent on his face. "Seriously?" Daniel said, watching Anthony take a big bite from the pancake.

Samantha's footsteps came downstairs. Daniel hoped that she would join them but instead she walked right out of the front door, slamming it shut.

"Sam!" Daniel shouted.

Katherine soon finished her pancake, putting the plate in the dishwasher and washing her hands. She went back upstairs to change. Once she was done, she did her hair and light makeup, grabbed her backpack, went back downstairs and yelled a goodbye to her little brother and dad before walking out the house.

Though, she was surprised to see Sam still standing there, with a guilty look on her face. "I thought you left for school." Kat said, walking to her car.

"I was waiting for you. I-I just wanted to say I'm sorry. About yesterday. I didn't know Yasmine was gonna do that, and if I did, I would have stopped her." Samantha said nervously, hoping her older sister would forgive her.

"That, I understand. But why do you still hang around Yasmine after all of the shit she does? I love Moon, she's really sweet, but Yasmine? Seriously?" Kat said. As soon as she reached her car, she turned around to finally look at her properly.

"I know, but she's my friend. And I promise, I will try and stop her from bullying Aisha again."

"I forgive you, Sam, but you need to talk to Aisha as well. She's really hurt. You didn't see the look on her face when Yasmine sent that video." Kat replied, opening the car door.

"I will, I promise." Samantha smiled, going to the other side and getting inside the car.

KATHERINE and Samantha walked side by side into the school and split for their lockers. Opening it, she grabbed the required books and shut her locker. She walked over to Sam when she heard a bunch of students making pig noises just as Aisha walked down the stairs. Aisha walked to her locker, and the two sisters made their way over to her.

"Hey. How are you feeling?" Sam asked Aisha.

"I've gone viral. How do you think I am?" Aisha asked irritably.

"Cheeto pig!" Some random girl shouted as she passed by the three.

"Hey, asshole. Mind your own business." Katherine retorted to the girl and Aisha sent her a thankful smile.

"Look, they're mean, but they have short memories. They'll forget." Samantha assured with a small smile, though Aisha didn't look convinced. "Yeah. Well, I'm not gonna forget." With that, Aisha closed her locker and walked away from the two.

Katherine looked back at Aisha when Kyler came running towards Sam and hugged her from behind. "Heeeyyyyy, there's my girl."

"Hey." Sam sighed, looking up at him.

"Hey. What's wrong?" Kyler asked the girl. Since Katherine didn't want to stay for their little chat, she spoke up, "I'm gonna go," she pointed to the direction of the classroom. When Sam nodded, she quickly walked away and spotted Eli, Demetri and Miguel.

"Hey, where were you guys yesterday at the dance? You didn't come back from your little trip at the bathroom." Katherine asked the three, and they looked over at her, guilty looks starting to rise.

The brunette's eyes widened when she caught sight of Miguel's injuries, and some bruises on his face. "Oh my God, what happened to your face?"

"Kyler jumped me in the bathroom." Miguel said quietly.

Her eyes widened even more as he got more into detail. When he got to the part where Demetri and Eli practically left him in the bathroom, the girl gave them a proper scolding while they were on their way to the library. She was even close to yelling at them, because she was angry that neither of them informed her of this information at the dance, and they quite literally did nothing to help Miguel.

Finally, the two boys managed to understand because they didn't want to listen to Katherine's scolding for about another hour.

At the library, they were all doing their homework when Miguel told them that his mom wasn't allowing him to do karate anymore, and that also resulted in the dojo closing.

"So, that's it? No more karate?" Demetri asked. Miguel sighed sadly, nodding his head in confirmation. "I guess so."

"It's probably for the best. It was starting to boost your confidence."

Katherine squinted her eyes at Demetri, "isn't that a good thing?" Miguel nodded in agreement with the girl.

Demetri looked over at her, who was across from Miguel. "No." He looked back at Miguel. "What has confidence ever gotten anybody except for a black eye and their backpack thrown in the trash?"

"I could list a few things." The girl shrugged and from underneath the table, Demetri kicked his leg out, hitting her shin and glaring at her. She let out a yelp at the pain while the other two snickered. After a couple of seconds, Eli spoke up quietly, "well, I thought it was kind of cool how you stood up to Kyler."

"Are you insane?" Demetri nearly shouted.

"Lower your voice, this is a library." Katherine scolded, jabbing a finger in his face as he muttered a small 'sorry' before going back on the topic. He whipped his head to Miguel, "let me ask you. What is the best superpower anyone could have?"

"Super strength." Miguel said, nodding at his own answer.

"Telekinesis." Katherine replied, not caring that the question was directed at Miguel. Demetri pointed a pencil at Miguel, "wrong." He turned his pencil to Katherine as well, "and wrong. Invisibility. A distant second would be super speed, to run away fast."

"Ooh! Like the flash?" Katherine said at the same time Kyler came, putting his hand on Eli's shoulder from behind him, "run away from who?"

"Whom." Brucks and Katherine corrected at the same time. Kyler flickered his eyes between the two, and Katherine raised her eyebrows, as if to challenge him. Brucks ignored the look Kyler was sending him and continued, "it's the object of preposition. Remember English class."

Discreetly, the four of them started gathering their stuff on the table and shoved it into their bags. "We were just leaving." Miguel said. They all stood up, starting to rush out the library.

"Hey, where you going? Oh, look at this freak." Kyler grabbed Eli's shoulder, pulling him back and grabbing his jaw, tilting it upwards to look at the scar on his lip. "Oh shit!" Kyler said, Brucks laughing in the back. "What kind of girl would ever kiss this shit?" Just as Kyler stated that, Katherine grumbled under her breath, ignoring the whispers from Miguel and Demetri telling her to stay put.

She stomped over to Kyler and pushed him off of Eli, standing in front of her best friend protectively. "You know, I can easily tell my sister to dump your ass."

Kyler scoffed, "like she'd believe you."

"I'm her older sister, idiot. What makes you think she'll listen to you?"

"I'm her boyfriend, and besides, it's very easy to convince her that you're just a jealous and crazy bitch." Kyler retorted.

Katherine's eyes flashed in anger as she lunged towards Kyler. If it hadn't been for Miguel grabbing her shoulders and pulling her back, Kyler would've been on the floor. "It's not worth it." He whispered. "Leave us alone, Kyler." Miguel spoke again, sighing as he looked up at Kyler. a

The boy's head snapped towards Miguel, taking a step towards him. "What'd you say?"

"Are you deaf or something?" Katherine furrowed her eyebrows slightly. Kyler flickered his eyes back to her and scoffed before looking back at Miguel intimidatingly. "You haven't had enough, 'Rhea? Huh?" Kyler asked. "Yeah. Get the hell out of here, man." He put his hand on Miguel's face, shoving him out of the exit of the library.

Katherine rolled her eyes as Bruckes shoved Eli out of the library as well. Demetri was about to leave when Kyler grabbed his backpack, "hey, you don't want this shit."

"No, come on. Not the trash." Demetri pleaded as Kyler pushed him, throwing his backpack into the trash. "I just threw a... yogurt in there."

"Now, it's double-dip." Kyler said teasingly. Demetri sighed, plucking the backpack out from the garbage. "Don't worry, I'll help you clean it up." Katherine assured the boy. Demetri sent a thankful smile to her as the both of them headed out of the library.

Kyler and Brucks walked out of the library a few seconds later, not knowing Samantha was there, having witnessed the whole entire thing.

"KIDS, breakfast." Daniel called out. He placed three plates on the table just as the Katherine made her way downstairs. "Morning, Kat."

Smiling, she replied, "Morning." Sitting down, Amanda came in with two cups of coffee in her hand. She gave one to Katherine, and Amanda turned to face Daniel.

"Oh, come on, you're still upset about Cole?" Amanda asked, noticing his glum expression.

"No, I took care of that." Daniel responded, a slight snarky tone to his voice. Katherine turned to face her dad with a confused expression as she repeated his words. "You took care of it?"

Daniel nodded and approached Amanda, "I just wish I could take care of this." He said, referring to Sam still being upset because of the incident at the dance.

"She can't stay mad forever." Amanda assured. Katherine nodded her head in agreement,  "mom's right. She'll forgive you soon." Daniel was about to reply when Anthony came into the kitchen. "Hey, buddy." He said.

"A dry English muffin? What is this, Afghanistan? I'll take a burrito." Anthony complained, taking a seat beside Katherine on the table.

"You complain too much." Katherine said at the same time Daniel said, "Hey, this isn't a restaurant." Samantha came downstairs, "Morning, Sam." Kat smiled. "Morning, honey." Amanda smiled as well.

"Morning. What, no banana-rama pancakes today?" Sam asked, a smile growing on her face. "Are you kidding? I'm just about to whip up a batch right now." Daniel quickly started getting the ingredients out of the cabinets.

"I thought this wasn't a restaurant." Anthony frowned.

"Shut up." Kat smacked his shoulder.

"Just eat your muffin, ok?" Daniel smacked the back of Anthony's head.

"You guys are mean."

"Hey, Sam, it's gonna be hot again this weekend. Maybe you wanna invite Kyler back over for a swim?" Daniel suggested.

Katherine groaned, "Please, not another pool party."

Samantha chuckled, "I don't think Kyler's gonna be around anymore."

"Oh, I'm sorry, honey." Amanda spoke up. "That's too bad." Daniel said. Katherine took notice of his slight excited tone. Sam laughed, sending him a look, "Don't look too excited, Dad."

"What? What excited? Who's excited? What? Excited? This is my sad face." Daniel pointed to his face, doing an awful job at making a sad face.

"That is not your sad face." Katherine snickered.

"It's a very, very sad face." Daniel defended.

A/N: I don't really know about this chapter. I don't really like the end because in the actual episode, the scene just cuts off so I just wrote this. I might change it though. depends.
