[SEASON 6: EPISODE 10]

"HEY," Isaiah approached the blonde, "you going back home already?" When she didn't reply, he frowned, "you okay?"

"Pretty far from it."

"Look. I, um...I owe you an apology. I should've never let Kwon get into my head. I know better than that. I know you better than that. Pressure of the tournament got to me, and―"

"I can't do this right now," Tory shook her head. "This whole thing just turned to shit. Like everything always does. I never should've let myself believe in any of it."

"Does 'any of it' include me?"

Before she could respond, Kwon's voice cut in, "not your team."

Kwon approached Isaiah with a menacing glare. The Walker glanced at Tory before looking at Kwon, "what is wrong with you?" He shook his head lightly, scoffing. He then turned to the blonde girl, a soft smile spreading across his face, "get home safe."

Isaiah looked back at Kwon who was continuing to glare daggers at Isaiah. The brunet turned around, and walked away from the two.

"Byung-Shin does not deserve to be in the next round." Kwon complained to Tory. "That is my spot."

"I guess you shouldn't have let Robby kick your ass." Tory retorted.

"What did you say?"

"You heard me. You cost me my spot."

"And what would you have done with it? Zara would destroy you, then celebrate with your boyfriend."

Provoked, the Nichols stood up abruptly, facing Kwon. "Say that again."

"You heard me."

Tory pushed Kwon harshly, and he stumbled back a couple of steps. He started speaking in Korean, approaching Tory when Kim cut in, "enough! We are already returning to my grandfather in disgrace. Are you trying to add to our shame?"

Her eyes darted between the two, her eyes falling on Kwon and pushing him back. "Get your mind right." She told him in Korean. Kim glanced back at Tory, and then she walked away.

"Do you think we'd win?" Katherine asked Robby beside her, as the two sat near the window.

The boy shrugged in response, "maybe. But I really hope we do. Now that Cobra Kai is gone, we have a chance."

The brunette nodded with a small smile, "you're right about that." She sighed deeply, her mind drifting to her blonde friend. "I just wish Tory didn't join Cobra Kai, though. She could've been celebrating with us."

Robby nodded in understanding, "yeah." He smiled at the girl in front of him, "she'll come around soon enough."

She nodded, a genuine smile gracing her lips. The couple leaned in, sharing a small yet soft kiss.

"Hey, bro. How'd it go?" Miguel asked Isaiah when he approached him and Sam.

"Pretty much how you'd expect it to go."

"I'm sure once all of the craziness dies down, you guys are gonna figure it out," Sam assured him.

"Maybe. Not much I can do until then but give her room. So..." Isaiah trailed off. "In the meantime, we got a tournament to win."

"Yeah, we do." Miguel smiled. "And look, I gotta say, all things being equal, it's pretty sweet knowing that Cobra Kai's not a threat anymore."

"Attention, Sekai Taikai competitors. All dojos convene immediately in the main lobby, including those who have been eliminated."

A little while later, Gunther stood, all of the dojos surrounding him. "My apologies for summoning you all like this." He began, "but under the circumstances, it was necessary. The Sekai Taikai has a long and honorable tradition. We fight hard, but we fight fair. That's why I'm saddened to announce that one of the dojos here has tarnished that decision by cheating."

Everyone looked over at one another, silently asking which dojo cheated. Gunther turned to Udar Tigra on his left. "Sensei Ivanov. Four of your students have tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs. You are hereby eliminated."

"What the hell are you talking about?" The man snapped back at Gunther.

"You're hereby removed from our finalists." Gunther continued on.

"Bullshit!" He stepped closer to Gunther, "why don't you come over here and remove me yourself?"

Katherine visibly flinched when Gunther yelled, "Sensei Ivanov!" The man stepped forward, "consider yourself fortunate that your dojo wasn't banned forever." Gunther calmed down a little, but his voice was threatening. "Continue this behavior, and that could be arranged easily."

Ivanov nodded slightly and turned around, walking back to his spot.

"Replacing Udar Tigra will be the dojo with the next highest point total." Gunther said.

Devon frowned, "wait. That means..."

"Cobra Kai." Gunther pointed to the dojo.

"What the fuck?" Katherine muttered under her breath, scoffing as she saw the Cobra Kais cheering.

"Of course." Devon scoffed.

"And on a more positive note, we'll now announce the draws for our semifinals." Gunther was given a few papers, and he started reading the names off of them, "in our girls' bracket, the first semifinal will be Maria Àlvarez versus Zara Malik. And in the second match, that will pit Tory Nichols against Katherine LaRusso."

The two girls made eye contact, and Kat gave the Nichols a small smile to which she returned.

"In our boys' bracket, our first semifinal match will be Diego Aguilar versus Kwon Jae-Sung. And our second semifinal match will pit Axel Kovačević against Robby Keene. Good luck to all our semifinalists. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow at the venue."

With that, everyone started walking away. "Axel the Invincible, and Kat-Tory chapter a billion." Demetri spoke. "It's less than ideal."

Miguel glanced at Robby, "you got this." He muttered with a firm nod as the group walked off.

The group sat on the stairs, whilst the three senseis were in front of them. "Screw this horseshit, man." Johnny complained, "how many times do we have to kill that son of a bitch until he stays dead?"

"Kreese is like a cockroach. But he is not one fighting on mat." Chozen averted his attention and looked at the students.

"Sensei Chozen's right. We have the rest of the day to tune up for tomorrow," he looked at Katherine sitting beside him. Then he turned back to the senseis, "what's the plan?"

"Knock Kreese's head off his neck, for starters." Johnny said.

"Dad?" Kat called out to him. She frowned―he was in a daze. "Dad?" She called out louder. Daniel snapped out of his thoughts, "what?"

Katherine's frown deepened, "training? For our final fights?"

"Oh yeah, we'll run through the usual stuff."

Chozen looked at him before cutting in, "senseis need time to discuss. Go get changed. Uh, meet me at gym."

They all nodded, getting up to walk away.

AFTER a hell of a lot of training, the couple finally felt ready. Katherine felt good about this fight, and she genuinely felt like she could win.

For once, she wasn't all that nervous. Yes, she was still pretty scared but not that much. She felt as if a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. Kat and Tory had fought like a thousand times already, and Katherine knew her style of fighting.

But then there was another thing. She didn't want to fight Tory, obviously. But ever since Tory joined Cobra Kai, the two hadn't spoken. They would exchange smiles and hellos left and right, but they didn't have a proper conversation.

"And now, the moment you've all been waiting for." Gunther announced. "The Sekai Taikai Tournament of Champions. Welcome, competitors, to the semifinal round of the Sekai Taikai. Each dojo will retain the points they have accumulated thus far. Each match will consist of three two-minute rounds with unlimited scoring and no stoppages."

"One point for a hit. Ten for a knockdown. And should anyone score a knockout, that's worth twenty. So it's still anyone's tournament to win. Because at this stage of the tournament, no deficit is too large to overcome. Best of luck to you all. And may the best dojo win."

"Ladies and gentlemen, competitors and senseis, please welcome to the mat our first semifinalists. From Furia de Pantera, Diego Aguilar. And from Cobra Kai, Kwon Jae-Sung."

"Positions." The referee ordered once the two boys got on the mat. "Bow to me. Bow to each other. Fight!"

The two circled each other as Diego bounced on his feet back and forth. He raised his leg to kick Kwon, but instead, Kwon jumped up, lifting his leg and shooting his foot out to land a kick on Diego's chest.

"Point!"

Diego groaned, stumbling back a couple of steps. Kwon gestured for Diego to come at him, and Diego, getting provoked, launched himself at the boy, jumping up to land a kick.

Kwon moved away just in time. Katherine, on the other hand, started pacing back and forth behind the Miyagi-Dos. She started feeling that same scared feeling, and whenever she felt that feeling, more nerves built up.

With more nerves, she started feeling cold. It was as if she was shivering. She cracked her knuckles, and Daniel approached her with a soft smile. "Here we are. Moment of truth."

"Point!" The referee yelled.

"Got a few butterflies?" Daniel questioned the girl.

"Just one or two," Katherine breathed out a smile.

"Embrace them. They're just here to remind you how much you want this." Daniel took a deep breath, a guilty look spreading across his face.

He stepped forward, "Kat, I wanna apologize. I shouldn't have acted the way I did when your bracelet broke. I know how much that means to you, and I'm sorry for not realizing that."

Katherine nodded, a sudden warmth in her chest. "Thanks, Dad. It means a lot."

He smiled, "how are you doing with the Tory of it all?"

The brunette looked at said girl, and then turned back to Daniel. "I don't really know. But what I do know is that I don't want to fight her, but obviously I do." She paused for a little bit, "it would be nice to step out on the mat just once without any drama."

"There's always gonna be some kinda drama. You can't control that. You can only control how you handle it."

"Point!"

Diego spun around, his leg stretched out to kick Kwon. He moved away easily, and Diego flipped once more.

The two got in their spots, in their position. Kwon gestured for the boy to come at him like he did before, and Diego lunged at him with another kick.

Kwon blocked his kick, and landed one on Diego's shin. Then, he raised his leg higher and kicked Diego's ribs.

The Aguilar stumbled back, and Kwon took the advantage to jump up with his leg out. He spun around and kicked Diego straight across the face, landing on the floor swiftly as Diego knocked out on the mat.

The referee kneeled down by Diego, checking him. He made a cancel signal, meaning that he got knocked out.

"The winner by knockout, earning an impressive twenty-seven points for Cobra Kai, along with the first spot in our boys' final, Kwon Jae-Sung!"

"Next up, Maria Àlvarez from Furia de Pantera against Zara Malik of Iron Dragons."

The two girls got on the mat, whilst the referee yelled, "fight!"

The both of them launched their foot out to kick the other, yet Maria missed and Zara landed her kick on Maria's back.

She stumbled on the floor while Zara flipped around with a kick, in hopes of landing another one on the girl.

Maria threw a few more kicks, and Zara ducked under to dodge them from hitting her. Maria's upper body was fully open and the Malik took that to her advantage, punching the girl's stomach.

"Point!"

Maria raised her leg, about to kick Zara. But instead, the other girl lifted her leg as well, blocking Maria's hit. She moved a bit further, kicking Maria's face.

"Point!"

The impact made Maria stumble back, but she managed to regain her composure. Having a few feet of distance from each other, Maria threw a kick to which Zara blocked.

Zara hit Maria's leg away from her ribs when the girl tried kicking her again. Then, she raised her leg higher to hit Zara's face yet she moved her face away, ducking slightly and moving away.

She blocked Maria's punches, and whilst she was doing that, she managed to punch the other girl's chest a few times.

"Point!"

Seeing another opportunity, Zara kicked the girl's stomach, making her crouch down on the mat.

"Point!" The referee announced.

Maria was able to stand back up and throw more attacks at the Malik. Though, she was able to dodge all of them and get on the floor whilst Maria tried kicking her again.

Zara put one hand on the mat and raised her leg, kicking Maria's side.

"Point!"

Zara quickly stood back up, throwing kicks to which Maria struggled to block. And then, the Malik was able to kick the girl's shoulder.

"Point!"

Zara kicked her again, "point!" And again until Maria fell to the mat. "Point! Hold." The referee held up Zara's arm in the air, "winner!"

"And Zara Malik moves on to the girls' final with a dominant shutout. Up next, our second boys' semifinal, Axel Kovačević of Iron Dragons versus Robby Keene of Miyagi-Do."

"This is everything you've been working for," Johnny started as the three senseis stood in front of the boy. "You earned it."

"Breathe, focus, stay centered. Give him everything you got." Daniel reminded him.

"And then you give him more." Chozen concluded.

"Yeah!" The Miyagi-Dos cheered for Robby as he walked on the mat with a determined look.

The two bowed at the referee, and then they bowed at each other.

"Ready! Fight!"

Robby instantly lunged at Axel, throwing two kicks. Axel easily moved away in time, proceeding to do so with Robby's other hits.

Having some distance with each other, Robby bounced between his feet back and forth. He stretched out his leg to kick Axel, but in turn, Axel stretched out his own leg and blocked Robby's hit.

Throwing another kick, Axel ducked under swiftly and moved away just in time when the Keene was kicking him again. Axel raised his forearm, dodging another one of Robby's kicks.

The two circled a bit, and Robby again, lunged at Axel, kicking him two times. But again, Axel dodged it and grabbed Robby's incoming punch. He twisted him around to make him fall to the ground.

Instead, the Keene's hand held onto the mat, both his legs raised up in the air in hopes of one of them landing a hit on Axel.

But he moved away yet again, and Robby stood up, sending more punches. Axel kept defending all of Robby's attacks, and raised both his forearms to counter Robby's kick. The impact suddenly made Robby stumble back.

"Axel!" Wolf shouted, "attack." He spoke in Chinese.

The boy nodded in response, turning back to face Robby. He immediately sent a kick, and Robby stumbled again.

The Keene tried sending a few more punches, but Axel grabbed his arm, twisting it back, and punching his stomach.

Axel blocked another one of Robby's hits and managed to score yet another punch to his stomach.

"Point!"

He attacked Robby even more, and he backed up from the impact. Axel punched Robby across the face harshly. It was so hard that when Robby whipped his head to the side, blood spluttered out from his mouth.

Katherine's eyes widened at the sight, "Robby." She breathed out.

"Point!"

"Defense, Robby!" Daniel shouted.

Throwing a few more hits, Robby was able to block them. Back and forth, the two sent attacks but it was mostly Axel.

Axel managed to grab Robby's gi, and send more attacks. Robby got out of his grasp and was able to dodge them. Instead, Axel locked both of Robby's arms under his armpits, "are you going to keep defending, or are you going to fight?"

Axel pushed Robby toward Kwon and another Cobra Kai fighter. The two held Robby's arms, and Kwon elbowed Robby in the ribs harshly.

"What the fuck?" Katherine scoffed.

"Hey!" Miguel yelled, rushing over to Robby when Axel pushed him to the mat. Miguel stood up abruptly, grabbing Axel's gi, "what the hell is your problem, huh?"

Axel tried getting out of his grasp yet Miguel held a firm grip. Robby turned to Kwon, glaring at him, "cheap shot, bitch. Wanna try it again? Try it again."

"Hit me." Kwon stepped closer.

Gunther, watching everything, stood up from his seat and spoke into the mic. "Stop. Stop this! Get ahold of yourselves!"

"Bring it, Romeo!" Miguel yelled at Axel, pushing him back.

"Everybody off the mat now!" Gunther shouted, "or this tournament―" He got cut off when a punch was landed on his face, and Gunther fell to the ground of the stage.

"Let's go!" Ivanov screamed out in Russian.

Suddenly, all hell broke loose.

Everyone started running at someone, fighting them. Katherine's eyes widened and she started backing away, her heading whipping from side to side to find Sam.

"It's time for revenge, bitch." Lilah voiced, approaching the girl with an angry look.

Katherine exhaled through her nose in frustration, "not you again."

Lilah laughed in response tauntingly, "why? Upset that I might beat you this time?"

"Oh, you've gotten bitchier. Or maybe that's how you've always been." Katherine rolled her eyes. Lilah scoffed in retaliation, launching herself at the girl.

The brunette jerked back at the sudden action, her forearms going in front of her to block Lilah's hits. The Davis sent punches and kicks, trying to get a hit on the girl.

Suddenly, Lilah grabbed one of Kat's French braids, tugging it harshly. In turn, the LaRusso let out a small yelp and stumbled to the side when the girl let go.

The Davis saw the opportunity and kicked Katherine's chest, making her stumble back even more. Kat managed to regain her composure though, and with an angry look plastered on her face, she launched herself at Lilah, prepared to kick her.

Katherine jumped up, and spun around, kicking the girl right across the face. When the girl hit the floor, Kat crouched down and grabbed a fist full of her gi and dragged her up, slamming her into a nearby wall.

She punched Lilah across the face, yet when she was about to land another one, Lilah pried her fingers off her gi, grabbing the girl's shoulders and throwing her to the ground.

Her head hit the ground hardly, and she let out a small shriek of pain. When Kat stood up, Lilah was already in front of her, a punch incoming.

She reacted quickly, grabbing Lilah's arm and twisting it behind. Katherine forced her to turn around and she kicked Lilah's back.

The Davis stumbled forward, but she was able to regain her steps. She turned back around with a crazed look, and ran at the girl.

The brunette backed away from Lilah's hits, and then she bumped into someone. Turning her head slightly to see who it is, her eyes widened when they fell on Kwon.

The boy looked back at her, and Robby, who was fighting Kwon, took the advantage to grab Kwon's gi and throw him to the ground.

By the time, one of Lilah's hits―a kick―landed on Kat's stomach.

Katherine stumbled on her steps, and raised her fists. Lilah threw a few more hits, grabbing the LaRusso's arm when she tried to punch her.

She twisted it around, punching her stomach once again. Katherine stumbled a little again, and then took a deep breath to calm down.

Kat looked up at Lilah with angry eyes, and this time, it was her who lunged forward. Lilah was able to block all of her attacks, yet when she tried to punch the girl, Kat grabbed her hand and punched Lilah's stomach like she did with her.

Lilah backed up a bit, and by then, Katherine spun around to kick her across the face. Lilah's head was whipped to the side, and she started falling to the ground.

Lilah groaned, managing to stand back up. Katherine went under, sweeping her legs out and making Lilah fall to the ground once more.

The Davis quickly stood up though, struggling to block Katherine's hits. By the time she was able to regain herself, she used both her forearms to block Katherine's kick.

Stumbling back, Lilah lifted her leg to land a hit, but the LaRusso was able to grab her leg, tucking it under her arm.

When Lilah threw her other leg out, Katherine did the same exact thing with her other arm. She used all her strength to throw Lilah to the ground.

All of a sudden, a loud scream of pain was heard.

Everyone surrounded Kwon who was on the ground. Silence covered the arena as everyone gathered around. Blood was spilling out from Kwon's body, and that made Katherine's expression turn into one of horror.

With slow steps, Daniel made his way over to Kwon and kneeled down. "Kwon?" He questioned, grabbing a hold of his shoulder to turn him around.

Katherine's eyes widened in shock and terror when she caught sight of the eunjangdo stabbed right in Kwon's stomach.

Everyone held shocked faces and Kat turned to Robby, her hand immediately going in his. Robby gave a gentle squeeze, his own eyes widening at the sight.

"Cut the feed." Gunther spoke.

"Cut the feed!"
