[SEASON 3: EPISODE 6]

AMANDA had sent Katherine, Samantha and Anthony to Lucille's house after what happened. Katherine was now laying in the guest room, on the bed, just thinking. She felt numb. Lilah held her and had a knife up to her neck. What if she had moved? Would Lilah really slice her throat? Either way, she felt stupid. She felt stupid because she had just stood there, she felt stupid because she couldn't do anything to help Demetri. Katherine felt guilt washing over her, a pained expression taking over as her mind replayed the image of Demetri pleading Eli to not do it.

A text message snaps her out of her thoughts. Picking up the phone, she sees a text from Isaiah. He had been MIA after the school fight, Kat not knowing what had happened to him.

isaiah: meet me at the burger joint near cobra kai. i have to talk to you about something.

Since she had nothing else to do at Lucille's, she decided, why not. She typed a quick 'yes' before grabbing her duffel bag and rummaging through the clothes to find a simple outfit. Deciding to wear sweatpants and a black top, she grabbed her things and put them in her bag before going downstairs.

She put on her shoes, tying them when Sam came to her. "Where are you going?" She asked, her eyebrows creasing. Katherine didn't look up when she replied, "Meeting with Isaiah at a burger joint." Sam nodded, "Be careful." Katherine nodded and stood up fully, opening the front door. Walking out, she closed the door behind her and made sure to lock it securely.

Kat walked to her car and got inside, driving away. As she was driving, she couldn't help but wonder why Isaiah wanted to meet her. Especially at the burger joint near Cobra Kai. She brushed away her thoughts and took a turn, parking in the plaza. Getting out of the car, Kat walked to the burger joint and walked inside, immediately spotting Isaiah at the table. Her eyes hardened seeing a familiar red mohawk sat across from him.

Clenching her jaw, she rolled her eyes and sighed, walking up to them. "Why did you want to meet?" She asked Isaiah. Hawk looked at her, a slight smile tugging at his lips. "Hawk wanted to talk to you and I just couldn't deny." He replied with a sheepish smile. Katherine felt like she wanted to stab him. "Well, I'm not going to. So, thanks for wasting my time."

Katherine turned to walk away when Eli grabbed her wrist, tugging her down on the seat next to him. She looked at him with an irritated expression. "What?"

"I wanted to talk to you." Hawk said, his voice a little quiet. "Well, what do you want? You're kinda wasting my time here." Replied Katherine. "Look, I wanted to apologize. For every-" Before he could continue, Katherine cut him off. "Seriously? You want to apologize? I'm sorry, but an apology isn't going to fix Demetri's broken arm."

"What? Demetri broke his arm?" Isaiah asked, a clueless look evident on his face. Katherine turned to him, "Oh yeah, did Hawk forget to mention? He broke Demetri's arm in the old laser tag place." "Hey, you were the ones who came at us first." Hawk quickly argued. Katherine scoffed, "Because we wanted payback for what you did to us at the soccer game, and what you did to Demetri's science project. You guys think that you're royalty, when you're not." Katherine looked at him, anger flashing in her eyes.

"You just can't admit that we're better than you guys. And we only did that because we wanted payback for what you guys did to Miguel." Hawk countered. Katherine's mouth opened, but no words came out. "That was an accident." She quietly defended.

"Was it?" Hawk asked, "You know it was. Robby never meant to do that. And that's not fair. Miguel's my friend too." Katherine retorted. "Really? Because after we joined Cobra Kai, you didn't talk to us anymore." Hawk said.

"Because you guys turned into assholes! Miguel treated Robby like shit the first time they met. And you? You became a complete jack-ass. Demetri and I were there for you when that bitch Kyler bullied you. Do you not remember that?" Katherine stared at him with angry eyes, guilt washing over Hawk.

"And breaking Demetri's arm? That's low. Even for you. I honestly can't believe you were my best friend." Katherine stood up from her seat, walking out. She walked to her car and got inside, putting her head on the steering wheel as tears slowly formed in her eyes. She started sobbing, wondering why her life was shit.

The car door opened, startling Katherine. Isaiah got inside, closing the door. His eyes landed on her, and he sighed. "Are you okay?" He asked. Kat shook her head, "I just want him back, but I don't even know if that's possible anymore." She sniffled.

Isaiah put a reassuring hand on her shoulder, "It's gonna be okay. Hawk will realize how much of an asshole he's being, and he'll come around. No doubt."

"It's funny you say that, because I keep telling myself that and that is not what's happening." Isaiah sighed, "I know. Everything's shit, and I agree. But I know Hawk will come around sooner or later. And if he doesn't, then that's that. But that's a part of life. People come and go, and the sooner you realize that, the sooner you'll realize that everything will be okay." He explains. Kat furrowed eyebrows, "Are you my sensei now?" Isaiah laughs, making Katherine laugh as well.

When their laughter died down, silence was all that was left. Katherine stared up into his chocolate eyes, and Isaiah was already staring at her blue ones. All that mattered was the two of them, in the car. For a moment, Katherine had forgotten about everything that happened. All her problems, and everything around her. All she could focus on Isaiah, and then that's when they both started leaning in. In a matter of seconds, their lips were inches away as they were still staring at each other's eyes, looking as if they were both hypnotized. That's when it happened. Isaiah pressed his lips against hers, and Katherine felt a sudden warmth inside her.

But suddenly, there was another feeling. The feeling where this wasn't right. When she first kissed Robby, she had felt a spark between them. But with Isaiah, there was no spark. She tried brushing it away as she kissed Isaiah back, her arms trailing around his neck.

After a few moments, they finally pulled away, Isaiah looking at her with a smile. Katherine smiled as well, as Isaiah opened the car door. He got out, "Bye, Kat." He said before closing the car door and walking away.

Katherine was just left sitting there, her mind deep in thought. She liked Isaiah, but did she really want to be in a relationship with him? Because Kat also liked Robby. Sighing, Katherine brushed away her thoughts and started the engine.

She started driving out of the plaza and back to Lucille's.

As she reached Lucille's home, she got out of the car and walked to the front door, unlocking it and stepping inside. Katherine took off her shoes and sighed, walking upstairs back to the guest room.

Just as she sat down on the bed, Samantha opened the door, "What happened?" She asked, approaching her and sitting down next to her. "It was s set up. Hawk was there," Kat replied, and Sam's eyes widened.

"Are you okay?" She asked. Katherine nodded, "Well, I'm gonna head downstairs." Samantha said. Kat nodded again, and Sam got up, walking out of the room. Katherine sighed for what felt like the hundredth time, laying down on the bed. She kissed Isaiah. Isaiah kissed her. She kissed him back. A slight smile tugged at her lips as she got up once again and went into her closet.

Quickly changing into her pajamas, she threw herself on the bed and got her laptop out, putting the fluffy blanket on top of her and putting on Netflix to watch her favorite show.
