[SEASON 4: EPISODE 1]

"READY?" Daniel asked. "Let's begin!" Johnny yelled, yet the students were all just standing there. Seeing everyone so clueless, Demetri raised his hand. "Uh, begin what exactly?" The two senseis looked at each other before Daniel continued, "Begin a new era. Many of us used to be enemies. But rivalries don't need to last forever." He looked at Johnny and then back to the group of students. "The All Valley Tournament is just a few months away, and this year, the stakes are higher than they've ever been. We know that Cobra Kai is gonna use every dirty trick in the book. There's only one way we're gonna be able to beat-"

"By kicking their asses so hard they shit themselves." Johnny cut off. Katherine snickered as he continued, "We gotta take things to the next level." He started pacing back and forth, "We're gonna teach you an aggression stronger than anything Cobra Kai can throw at us." Johnny walked back to his spot beside Daniel, "They strike first? We'll pre-strike."

"Okay, we're getting ahead of ourselves. We are going to respond to what they do." Daniel explained, yet Johnny didn't listen and continued off, "Eagles do not respond. They swoop down and take whatever they want. That's what we're gonna do. Take back the Valley."

Daniel looked at him in slight annoyance and then back at the students. "Take it back in a measured and organized approach."

"We bite first!" Johnny said. Daniel sighs once more, "Okay, let's just warm up with some simple exercises." "All right, line up!" Ordered Johnny and with that, all the students got in rows, Katherine being with Sam and Demetri in the front.

"And just breathe and follow me." Daniel instructed, inhaling deeply and starting the movements slowly. Johnny looked at him for a second before looking back. "Fighting positions. Right leg back. Front kick, ready? Hi-yah!" As the eagle fangs did their kick, Mitch accidentally kicked Nate who fell over with a thud. "Shit, dude. I'm sorry." Mitch immediately apologized, Nate groaning.

"READY. Fight!" Johnny instructed Bert and Mitch. With the signal, they both started fighting. "Go for the teeth." Johnny said as Daniel started protesting, pulling the two of them back. "Hey, hey. You're just swinging at each other. Don't you teach any defense?" He turned to Johnny.

"Best defense is more offense." Mitch responded proudly. Seeing as he was distracted, Bert took this opportunity to kick Mitch's ribs, and then his stomach, making Mitch fall against the rock.

"Why do you have a rock in the middle of your dojo?" Johnny asked Daniel who just stood there.

"FIGHT!" Daniel said to Katherine and Demetri. They were circling each other, both in their fighting stance. "That's it. Keep circling." Daniel nodded. "Don't anticipate." He continued. "Stay focused."

Though, Johnny started getting annoyed and finally said, "One of you do something. What the hell is this?"

"Yeah, that's not really how this works. One of us has to be provoked." Demetri replied. Johnny threw the plastic bottle at him, "Provoked yet?"

"WAX on, wax off." Said Daniel to the group of students who were washing the cars as part of their training. "It doesn't matter how many times you've done it. You always need to practice your fundamentals."

"That's right, clean it good. Want it to look brand-spanking-new. Get all the cans out of there. You find any loose change, it belongs to me." Johnny stood, crossing his arms as Daniel was stood behind him, shaking his head in disappointment.

"COME on, you maggots. Faster!" Johnny practically yelled to the students who were basically doing a whole obstacle course. Katherine and Samantha were running around the barrels which had fires lit up on them. "We're gonna get sued here." Daniel complained, pointing the obstacle course. "Uh, sue me for what?" Johnny asked. 

"Oh God. I think I'm about to barf." Chris sighed, continuing as he heard Johnny yelling, "Let's go! Move it, move those feet!"

"No, no, not the boat!" Daniel screamed, seeing Chris rushing to the boat and vomiting inside it. Katherine cringed and looked away and heard Daniel screaming again. "Not the boat!"

"FIGHT!" Instructed Johnny, signaling Hawk and Mitch to fight. Hawk started punching and landed one, going under Mitch's arm as he punched Hawk. Hawk kicked Mitch who was moving back, and when he threw another kick, Hawk's foot got through the door.

"You see, this is why we don't spar in here." Daniel explained, gesturing to the new hole in the door.

Yet, Johnny ignored him, "All right, who's next?" Daniel looked at him in disbelief, shaking his head for what felt like the thousandth time.

IN Cobra Kai, Tory and Lilah were both punching and kicking the dummy, both girls feeling upset by their fights. Lilah was not only upset, she was mad. Mad that Katherine LaRusso had won against her. She wanted to show Katherine that she was better.

But knowing that she had won against Lilah, made a burning feeling churn in Lilah's stomach. She channeled all her anger, and put it out all on the dummy. Tory, who was seeing how aggressive Lilah was, leaned over. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Lilah responded curtly without looking at her. Though, they both stopped for a brief minute when they heard Kyler laughing and talking. "Yo, I'm telling you, man, when I get to ASU, honeys be lining up for this snack, you know what I mean?" Kyler laughed, gesturing to his body.

Lilah felt annoyed and even more angered. Kyler had just lost to Miguel and he's making jokes? She found this as a good opportunity to lash out on him. So, she went over to Kyler, and Tory, seeing what she was about to do, followed her.

"Anyways, my dad, he wants me to go to Harvard, but ASU's like the Harvard of the west coast." Kyler explained as though it was mandatory for them to know. "Nobody gives a shit, Kyler. Honestly, you guys are pathetic. If you'd handled your business, we would have won that fight." Lilah said, anger coursing through her as everyone turned around to look at her.

"Okay, whatever. Hawk, he switched sides." Kyler shot back, "Man, that's not a good excuse." Noah said from beside him. Lilah scoffed. "Such a stupid fucking excuse." Just as those words left her mouth, Kyler opened his mouth to retort back but Tory beat him to it. "Yeah, Miguel just got out of a wheelchair and he still kicked your ass."

"You know what? At least I'm still here. Half the squad quit." He countered. "And what good does it bring having you here?" Lilah asked, tilting her head slightly. "That's actually kinda true though." Noah snickered. Kyler blinked, looking at Noah with a glare and before he could reply, the doorbell rings and Robby walks inside.

"Well, look who showed up. Kathy's little boyfriend." Lilah mocked, her eyes filled with anger as she shook her head in disappointment. Robby ignored the last bit, walking past them and into the back room. "That fool doesn't even practice, but he gets to stay? I don't get it." Kyler scoffed. "You don't get anything." Noah squinted his eyes.

"Maybe you shut that stupid mouth of yours for once." Lilah said to Kyler, looking at him one more time before going back to the dummy. Feeling even more anger and rage, she grunted and kicked the dummy again.

REACHING home, Daniel opened the door only for the newly set alarm to blare off. "Oh shit." Daniel sighed, putting in the correct key codes to cancel the alarm. Just then, Amanda and Anthony came rushing down, Amanda having a bat with her and Anthony still having his tablet in hand. "I'm sorry. I'm still getting used to the code." Daniel turned to look at them, an apologetic look across his face.

"This new alarm system sucks." Anthony made sure to say. "You should've sprung for the one with facial recognition." He continued as Amanda picked up the phone call she was getting. "Hi, this is Amanda LaRusso. Yeah, sorry, it was a false alarm. Uh, password is 'Outlander.' Okay." She said, before ending the call.

"READY, bow." Johnny said to the group of students. It was the next day, and Katherine was feeling weird. She felt like Johnny and Daniel weren't quite cooperating in the same way seeing as how everything went yesterday. But then again, she has to get used to it. So, let's just see how this day goes. She says to herself in her mind. "Sensei Lawrence and I have the same goal of preparing you for the tournament." Daniel said, making Katherine snap out of her thoughts.

"But we have different ways of getting you there." Johnny continued on. "We realized that teaching you opposing viewpoints at the same time can be a little confusing." Daniel said.

"So, we've discussed it and come up with a solution. We're gonna divide and conquer. Eagle Fang trains out front." Johnny pointed. "And I'll be back here with the Miyagi-Dos." Daniel gestured around him.

"I thought we were stronger working together." Miguel inquired. "We're still working together." Daniel reassured. "Just separately. On opposite ends of the dojo." Johnny said. Katherine frowned, "That literally doesn't make any sense."

"All right, Eagles, follow me." Johnny instructed. "Miyagi-Dos, come on over here." Daniel gestured, everyone following their senseis.

On the side of Eagle Fang, Johnny instructed, "Fall in. Hawk, since you're new to Eagle Fang, come on up." He gestured. Hawk bowed, "Yes, sensei." And stepped forward. Just as he did that, Johnny went under and sweeped his legs. Hawk groaned, falling to the ground with a thud.

"What the heck?" He scowled. "Today, we're gonna practice our front sweeps. On Hawk." Johnny said to the other students as Hawk slowly got up. "All right. I know I was a dick, but I'm sorry." He said with a guilty glint in his eye.

"Talk is cheap." Johnny responded, looking back at him. "Who's next?" He turned to the small group of students. "Penis Breath, you're up." He pointed at him.

AT Cobra Kai, Robby was in the back room lifting weights when Lilah came in. "You're supposed to have someone spot you, you know." She remarked. "I don't need a spotter." He replied, putting the weight back and standing up. "Looks like you've upgraded from running away to hiding." Lilah walked forward.

Robby resisted the urge to roll his eyes, opening the cap of his water bottle. "I'm not hiding."

"Could've fooled me. I don't remember seeing you at the fight. Were you afraid of seeing your little girlfriend again?" Lilah tilted her head. "What were you even thinking? That you'd break into the LaRussos' and hurt Kat and everything would be sunshine and roses? You're lucky the LaRussos didn't call the cops." Robby retorted, anger slowly bubbling in his chest.

"Yeah, well at least I'm not straddling the fence. Girls like Kat LaRusso think the whole world revolves around them. And why shouldn't she? All she has to do to get what she wants is make a puppy dog face and say please. I'm a rich girl, and I don't act like that. I mean, even after she kissed Isaiah, she's still got you wrapped around her little finger." Lilah replied, fidgeting with the ends of her hair. "In case you didn't know, I saw them kiss in her car outside the burger joint." She mocked, her eyes trailing up to see Robby's green eyes which were slowly starting to fill with hurt.

To Robby, that felt like a punch in the gut. She kept replaying Lilah's words in his mind. 'Even after she kissed Isaiah.' Why didn't she tell him about this? Hurt filled more and more in his stomach though he tried to brush it away. "That is not true." He said, his voice quiet than he intended.

"Then why are you defending her?" Robby blinked, opening his mouth to say something but no words came out. Lilah walked forward, getting in Robby's face. "You're right to skip practice. If you're gonna stay on defense, this isn't the right dojo for you." With that, Lilah walked away, Robby looking back at her retreating figure.

"WE all have anger inside. But I want you to let it go. Don't let your emotions control you. You have to be the one in control. Right? Now, everyone close your eyes and relax." Everyone did as he instructed, though before they could start anything, they all heard Johnny's familiar voice. "Stop whinin' like a little bitch. Get up."

Katherine laughed quietly. "Stay focused." Daniel reminded, "Eyes closed." He inhaled deeply, "Breathe in," everyone copied him, "Breathe out." Daniel exhaled.

"Don't be a pussy. Punch him in the face." Johnny's voice came yet again. Katherine and a few other students laughed. "Try not to be distracted. Stay focused." Daniel tried to remain calm. "You punched him in the balls? What the hell is wrong with you?"

The students laugh, Daniel sighing. "Wait right here." He stood up, walking out towards Johnny. "Boom! Nice shot, Gus! Right in the gut." Johnny cheered. "Sensei Lawrence." Daniel stepped down.

"Yes, sir." Johnny looked at him. "May I have a word with you?" Daniel asked and Johnny nodded. "All right, guys, everybody take five. Walk it off. Looking good, looking good." He patted Hawk's chest before trailing after Daniel.

Hawk went inside and grabbed his water bottle from his bag on the bench, taking a sip. His eyes landed on a picture frame and went to it, scanning the picture. Katherine saw him and walked over, "Pretty nice, huh?"

Hawk looked at her, smiling and nodding, looking back at the picture. "Yeah."

"That's the sparring deck where Mr. Miyagi's great-grandfather taught karate on the Okinawan waterfront." Demetri said, coming in and earning the two's attention. "You actually remember this stuff?" Katherine raised her brows, Demetri playfully rolling his eyes. Hawk touched the picture frame, "Yo, be careful with that." Chris came in, removing Eli's hand.

"Why, you think I'm gonna break it?" Hawk asked, looking at Chris. "You already broke a door. And you stole Mr. Miyagi's medal." Chris shot back.

"And you beat the shit out of me." Nate took a stand next to Chris, eyeing Hawk. "Hey, look, I'm really sorry about all that." Eli apologized, the same guilty look taking over his face. "Go back with your little Eagle gang. You're not wanted here." Chris said.

"Chris, come on. That's not fair." Katherine said sternly. She saw the sad look on Eli's face, and it almost made her heart shatter. She saw how Eli looked over at Demetri, expecting him to say something but he just looked away. Eli looked at Katherine with a weak thankful smile and before she could do anything, he had already walked out.

Katherine followed him, hearing him and her dad talk. "Hey, Mr. LaRusso, can we talk?" He asked. "What?" Daniel asked rather irritatingly, looking at Hawk.

"I don't know where I fit in here." Hawk admitted. "What did you expect? You've burned bridges with pretty much everyone here." Daniel snapped. Katherine's eyes widened in shock as Eli sighed, shaking his head and walking away.

Kat approached Daniel, "Seriously, Dad?" Daniel opened his mouth to speak, when Johnny came. "What the hell did you do?" He asked. "What did I do? I'm not the one who's been kicking his ass all day." Retorted Daniel. "We're training for the All Valley, not some yoga competition." Johnny shot back.

"Don't disrespect my dojo in front of your students." Daniel pointed an accusing finger at Johnny's face.

"Don't tell me how to run my class. I'll do whatever the hell I want." Johnny pointed at him as well, turning and walking away. "I know what you're doing." Daniel pointed at him, walking after Johnny. "Yeah?" Johnny asked.

"As long as you're under my roof, they're both our students." Daniel finalized. "Under what roof? We're outside." Johnny countered. Katherine felt bad, but she wanted to laugh at their bickering. It was kinda funny seeing Johnny and Daniel argue like five year olds.

KAT and Sam arrived at the skatepark in Samantha's car, her phone ringing. "Hey. So, how did it go?" She asked Miguel through the phone. "I'm not sure it worked, but we'll see. What about you?" "Couldn't tell if my dad went for it or not." Sam replied with a sigh. "Well, we did everything we could." Miguel started. "If this doesn't keep our dojos together, I don't know what will." He concluded.

"We've gotta try everything. No matter how difficult it may be." Sam said, looking through the window and looking straight at Robby. "All right." Miguel nodded on the other side of the phone. "Bye." Sam said. "Bye, babe." Miguel hung up.

As the two were conversing, Katherine's eyes were locked on Robby, and a knot was forming in her stomach. She felt nervous, scared even. That he wouldn't want to talk to her. Kat took deep, shaky breaths, but they weren't enough to calm the nerves in her stomach.

Samantha looked over at her older sister, seeing how shaken up she was. "You okay?" Katherine snapped out of her thoughts and looked at her younger sister, nodding slightly. "Yeah. Let's go."

Sam nodded, getting out of the car. Katherine opened the car door as well, taking a deep breath and trailing after Sam like a ghost. She fidgeted with her fingers nervously as Sam called out, "Robby."

He turned, spotting both girls. His eyes immediately locked on Katherine, who was still behind Sam. They both walked forward, "I came here every day after you ran away, hoping I would find you." Sam admitted. "So, what do you want?" Robby asked bluntly. "I was really angry at you for what happened at the school. But believe me, I never stopped caring about you." She tried.

"Never stopped caring about Miguel, either." Robby retorted. "I know." Sam paused, looking down at the ground. She sighed, looking back up. "I thought that that was over, but it was more complicated."

"There's nothing complicated about it. It's a choice and you chose." Robby shot back, and Samantha sighed. "You're right. But that doesn't mean you have to make the wrong choice. You're a good person. My dad knows it. Your dad knows it."

"My dad also had a choice, and he chose to become a drunk loser who still hasn't figured out his own life. And now, he wants to make up for lost time so he can feel better about himself? It's not gonna happen." Robby shook his head. "Please. Your dad is trying to change. Mine is too. If you could just come back, you could really help bring everybody together. That's all that I want." Sam persisted, a pleading look in her eyes.

Robby looked back up at her, "Well, then it looks like I get to be the first person to ever tell you this. You're not getting what you want."

Samantha looked at him with a shocked look, slowly nodding. "Okay. Just remember, this was your choice." She sighed, turning and walking back to the car. Katherine was about to as well, when Robby stopped her. "Kat."

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, turning around. "Hey." She smiled sheepishly. A slight smile tugged at Robby's lips, and it felt like it had been ages since he's seen her. Katherine had curly hair, making her look even more pretty. "I like your hair." The words blurted out from Robby's lips before he could stop them.

Kat took a double over and a small smile formed on her lips. "Thanks." She hesitated, looking at the ground and looking back up. "Are you really siding with Kreese?"

Robby sighed, looking away for a moment. "I don't know yet." His voice came out quiet, yet Katherine was able to hear him.

Robby looked back at Katherine, seeming hesitant as well. "Did you... did you really kiss Isaiah?" That question nearly made Katherine flinch, and she immediately felt like she wanted to go through the ground and hide there forever. But knowing she didn't have a choice, she nodded. "Yeah." Her voice came out barely above a whisper, but seeing her nod, Robby's heart shattered.

He had always liked Katherine, and he had fucked things up badly. First with being in a relationship with Sam and now this.

"Are you upset? I didn't mean to make you upset-" Katherine tried, but Robby shook his head, "No, no. It was.. nice seeing you, Katherine." Taking his skateboard, he left without another word.

"I'M telling you, that fiesta burrito? Shit, it was like a party with..." Kyler trailed off seeing Robby in the front. "Get a load of this chump. What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Sensei Kreese isn't back yet, so I'm gonna get you guys warmed up." Robby said calmly. "You've never been apart of this team and you think you're our sensei? Get the hell outta here, man." Kyler said.

"Yeah, who says even want you?" Lilah asked. Robby looked at her and the others before speaking again, "Okay, hit me. Any of you. If any of you can land a hit, I'll go."

That seemed to be the only motivation for Kyler as he said, "All right." And went straight to Robby, sending him a kick. Robby dodged him easily, sweeping his legs. "Who's next?" He asked, and another person came running, Robby quickly kicking him back.

Noah came at him, attempting to send a punch but Robby grabbed his arm, flipping him over to the ground. Another person tried to send him a punch but Robby grabbed his arm, punching him across the face. He kicked another person and punch another guy in the ribs. But the guy kept sending him punches, Robby using the wax on wax off technique. As the guy sent a punch, Robby grabbed his arm and kicked another guy in the stomach.

He knocked the other guy down, fighting another person and easily knocked him down with a kick. After a few more fights with Kyler and some other guys, Tory and Lilah were the last ones standing. "You both just gonna watch?"

Tory rushed at him, sending him a kick and punch, Robby easily blocking and pushing her away. Tory immediately composed herself, and she tried to send a kick and punches, Robby grabbing her arm and flipping her on the ground.

He turned to Lilah who rushed at him, sending a kick but Robby blocked it easily. She kept sending punches left and right, Robby using the wax on wax off technique. She sent another kick to his ribs, and Robby stumbled back

Lilah rushed at him again, pushing him on the ground and punching his stomach. Lilah stepped back and Robby quickly got up, staring at her. "A deal's a deal. I'll go." He nodded, starting to walk away.

"No." Lilah protested, and Robby turned around. "Stay."

"ALL right, stand back. It's comin' down!" Hawk said, knocking the fence down with the sledgehammer. "Hey! What are you doing?" Daniel asked, him and Johnny approaching. "You were both right. Talk is cheap. So, I'm building a bridge." Eli responded. "Uh, more specifically, and Okinawan sparring deck." Demetri corrected as him and Katherine both approached. Demetri showed them the photo of the sparring deck on his tablet to both senseis.

"Eli's a design whiz. Kat and I looked it over and the physics check out." Demetri explained. "Mr. Miyagi just used this area for extra storage, but a new deck would mean a lot more room for training." Katherine explained. "We're all gonna help build it. Assuming our senseis approve?" Miguel questioned the two senseis who were just standing there.

They both looked in awe seeing all of the students work together. Johnny looked at Daniel and he looked at Johnny, "Sounds good to me." Daniel finalized. Johnny nodded, "Yeah. Sounds awesome."

A/N: such a long chapterrrrrrrr. i wanted to include lilah and noah in there bc i didnt want them to feel left out ykykyk also, im trying to think of ways to interpret isaiah and katherine scenes. maybe next chapter?????
