[SEASON 4: EPISODE 8]

"HEY," Robby approached Lilah who was putting her bag on the bench. "Hey." Lilah glanced up at him.

"You're uh.. You're gonna go?" Robby asked, referring to prom because Kyler was bragging about it earlier. "To prom? Yeah, right. Let the rich kids have their stupid party. Besides, can you picture me in a ballroom dress?" Lilah looked up at him.

"All right, class. Fall in." Kreese and Silver came out. The students all went to their spots, the two senseis in the front. "Today's lesson is about balance." Kreese started.

"Not the way Miyagi-Do teaches it. You're going to learn how to get inside the heads of your opponents and throw them off balance. Pair up." He finished. Lilah and Robby looked at each other before everyone went to find partners. The both of them went to a corner together, going in their fighting stance.

"You know, you should go." Robby started. "Crashing you-know-who's big night would be a hell of a way to get your opponents off balance."

"Not as much as if you showed up." Lilah countered. "I'm not a student anymore. They won't let me in." He replied. "Maybe they would," she said, "if you went with me."

"Did you just ask me to prom?" Robby asked, amusement laced in his tone. "Strictly a tactical move." She smiled. "Well, it's such short notice. We'd have to get a ride. Still need a tux." Robby said.

"I think it's a great idea." Silver walked over to them. "And if you're going, you're going in style." He said before walking away.

GETTING ready for prom was one of the things Katherine looked up to most of the year. But now that that time is actually here, she feels like she doesn't want to go. Sure, dressing up all fancy and pretty excited her, but really, what was the point of prom?

She wanted to go, but at the same time, she didn't. First of all, she had promised Isaiah that she would go with him as his date. Second of all, Sam was pestering her to go. Reluctantly, she had agreed. What's the worst thing that could happen?

The two girls got ready, and Katherine wore her dress that she had saved up almost all of her money for. Amanda helped her with her hair, and Lucille had gave her some of her jewelry.

The two girls went downstairs upon hearing Miguel's family coming with Isaiah. Samantha had a huge smile on her face and Katherine managed to muster up a smile as well. Sam gave a little twirl for Miguel.

Kat laughed a little at how his jaw was practically on the floor. Isaiah grabbed Katherine's hand, pressing a kiss on her knuckles. She blushed, smiling softly. He was wearing a suit as well, similar to Miguel's.

"You look amazing." He complimented. "So do you." She smiled. Before he could say anything else, "picture time." Could be heard from Louie's sister, Vanessa. "Diazes, get together." She said. All of them got together and Vanessa snapped a picture. "Beautiful. Let's get the LaRussos together. Anthony!" She screamed from downstairs.

"Uh, actually, no, he doesn't need to come down." Amanda said as all of them got together, Katherine being with Sam in the middle. "Thought I was supposed to stay in my room for the rest of my life." Anthony commented, walking down the stairs.

"Who told you to stay in your room? He's grounded? What happened?" Lucille asked Daniel who was beside her. "Ma, we'll talk about it later, okay?" Daniel brushed it off, smiling nervously. "Okay." Vanessa said, snapping a picture of the LaRussos.

"All right. Everybody now. Come on, one big happy family. Let's go." Vanessa gestured for them to go. "Find your spot." Daniel said. Isaiah stood beside Katherine who was beside Sam. "Even Louie can get in the picture." Amanda said.

"Okay. Alrighty. One, two, three." Vanessa said. Everyone smiled, and Vanessa took the picture.

"DUDE, this sucks." Eli complained to Demetri and Kat. "Prom without a date is like Halloween with no candy. There's no point." He said. "Why didn't you ask Moon to prom?" Kat asked from beside him. As he was about to respond, Demetri beat him to it. "I mean, at least we're not the only ones in for a boring night. I heard Logan Wang's after-party got canceled. His brother got in some middle school fight."

"Is that supposed to make him feel better? That everyone else's night is ruined?" Katherine squinted her eyes.

"Yeah. It's literally the definition of 'misery loves company.'" Demetri looked at her. "Demetri." Yasmine's voice came in. "Oh my- Jessica Rabbit! W-What are you doing here?" Demetri walked up to her.

"I just flew in." Yasmine smiled. "What about your dad's wedding?" He asked. "Oh, I'll get back in time." Yasmine dismissed it. "You're more important. I even flew economy plus, which is total shit." She looked at Katherine and Eli who were just standing there. "The seats don't even lie flat." She looked back at Demetri.

"Wow. You really do like me, huh?" "Oh, you have no idea." Yasmine grabbed his face and pulled him in for a kiss. "Come on, let's go dance." She said.

"Yes, my queen." Demetri nodded and let her drag him away. "I-I gotta, you know." He said to Eli and Kat. They chuckled, watching him leave. Katherine saw Eli looking at Moon, "you should dance with her." She suggested.

"Are you insane? What if she says no?" Eli looked at her. "Are you insane? You don't know unless you try." She said, before walking away to Isaiah.

Isaiah spotted her a smile immediately etched onto his face at the sight of her. "Hey." He leaned in for a quick kiss. She smiled into the kiss and pulled away, "wanna dance?" Isaiah smirked and nodded, taking her hand and practically dragging her to the dance floor.

Just then, Lilah and Robby walked inside, Noah and Tory following behind. The both of them caught sight of Isaiah and Katherine, and Robby clenched his jaw, seeing Isaiah's hand around Katherine's waist.

But he managed to ignore them as Lilah walked away, Noah following her. Kat watched as Robby brushed past Miguel and Sam, purposely bumping into Miguel. "I'm gonna go to the restroom." Isaiah said to Katherine. She nodded, and he walked away.

She started walking back to Eli when a hand clasped around her wrist. Turning around, Robby stood there with a small smile. "May I have this dance?" He asked.

Kat opened her mouth to refuse, "please." Robby said. Sighing, Katherine nodded and let Robby take her to the dance floor. She put her hands on his chest as Robby's hands found themselves around her waist, pulling her closer. "You look beautiful." He complimented.

"Wish I could say the same about you." Kat replied, eliciting a laugh from Robby. "Where's Lilah?" She asked. "I think she's with Noah or something." Robby replied. 'In Your Eyes' by The Weeknd starts playing, Robby taking her hands and twirling her around. He picks her up, and sets her down as he twirls her once again. This time, when he catches her, he dips her down, a smile reaching his lips.

That's when she realized how close their faces were, only inches apart. She couldn't help but smile back, feeling truly happy in that moment. Robby pulls Katherine back up, her hands going around his neck.

Robby feels a familiar warmth in his chest as he smiles at her. A real smile. Kat caught sight of Sam watching them, a slight sad look in her eyes. Though she decided to brush it away, focusing on Robby at the moment.

Then, her eyes land on Isaiah and Tory dancing, both of them having huge smiles on their faces. For the first time, she doesn't feel bad. She wants Isaiah to be happy, and she's glad that he's finding it. Even if it's with Tory.

Her eyes fall on the couple beside them, Noah and Lilah. She brushes it aside and looks into Robby's eyes, seeing that he was already looking at her. He looks down, seeming hesitant about his next words. "I just wanted to say that- that-" He stutters, unable to find the right words. Robby sighs deeply, and finally, he says, "I'm sorry, Kat." His voice is just above a whisper, and Katherine could tell it was hard for him to muster up the right words.

"How do I know you're telling the truth?" She asked, frowning a little bit. "Because I like you, Katherine. A lot. And I know you're dating Isaiah-" "I'm pretty sure he's more into Tory." She chuckles, gesturing to the couple dancing.

He looks behind, and raises his brows in surprise. "So, are you not dating anymore?" He asked her. The hopeful tone didn't go unnoticed by her. "I guess so, but it's not official." She looked at him. "You're a good dancer." Kat complimented, changing the subject. "Thank you. My, uh.. My mom was a dancer." He said.

"Mom taught me as well, though she paid more attention to Sam." Kat replied. "You're still pretty good. You'd win a karate competition before a dance one." He said.

"I hope so. I was never really the one to be the best or compete for competitions. But if I could just win this one time, then I could look at that trophy and know I was best at something." And it was true. Throughout most of Katherine's life, she had never been the one to be the best at everything. She never really liked competitions. It was mostly Sam. But now that she had the karate tournament, it was something she was good at. Katherine wanted to prove to herself that she was good at something. That it was worth it.

"It's kinda stupid," she said, looking at Robby's smile. "No, it's not. I mean, I get it." Robby assured. A smile formed on her lips and she leaned in to put her head on his shoulder.

He pulled her closer, and for the first time, Robby felt alive. He wanted nothing more than to just hold her.

"WHOA! The day the music died. What's going on? Guys, turn it back on." Stingray said, shouting to a few people. Everyone was at Stingray's house for the after party. "There are families on this street trying to get some sleep. If y'all don't go home right now, you are gonna get arrested for underage drinking." Greg, Stingray's neighbor stormed in, looking furious.

"Okay, relax. Hey, guys! Hey, hey! You don't have to leave! It's fine. He's my neighbor. Hey, what are you even doing here? You weren't invited. You should leave right now." Stingray ordered.

"Okay, no one listen to this speed bump of a human. This is a loser, everyone. That's why he's partying with you, because he has no friends his own age." Greg looked straight into his eyes, a smug look on his face.

"Okay. I warned you, but you just had to push it and make it personal." Stingray said. "I did, Stink-Ray. And you know what I'm doing right now? I'm gonna start pushing these buttons and I am gonna call the cops." He warned. Stingray grabbed his hand and cracked it to the side, "Ow!" Greg winced. "It's not Stink-Ray." He took the phone out of his hand, "also, this is really gonna sting." He kneed him in the stomach, "so's this." Stingray kicked him across the face.

"Oh!" Everyone cheered. "Party on." Stingray turned the music back on, making everyone cheer even louder. "Stingray! Stingray! Stingray! Stingray!" They chanted.

KATHERINE was outside in the pool area grabbing a drink with Sam. Sam turned around, finding Tory standing there. "Seems like you're always behind me in line. First Miguel. I have a half eaten cupcake in there if you want some." She pointed inside the house.

"Sam, seriously?" Katherine asked. "Shut up, Kat." Samantha snapped. Kat clenched her jaw and was about to reply when Tory did. "You know, you shouldn't speak to your sister like that. I'd kick your ass, but I promised your mom that I wouldn't."

"Stay the hell away from my family." Sam threatened. "Sorry." Tory stepped forward, "I don't take orders from tiny, little bitches." Sam turned around, but then she suddenly sent a kick to Tory's stomach. "Sam!" Katherine rushed to Tory, about to help her up. "Stay the hell away form her, you bitch." Lilah sneered, pushing Katherine away.

Sam and Tory kept fighting, and Lilah sent Katherine a punch. She grabbed Lilah's arm and twisted it around to flip her on the ground. "Sam, stop!" She heard Miguel yell, taking Sam off of Tory. "You should stop as well," Noah said, coming in and taking Kat's hands off of Lilah. "What are you doing?" Miguel asked Sam. "I'm doing what Johnny said! I'm not taking her shit anymore!" Samantha replied. Tory was about to punch her when Miguel rushed at her, "No!" He grabbed her and sent them both on the ground. "Get off of me!" Tory yelled. "Let me go!" She yelled again.

"Let her go!" Isaiah yelled, rushing in to help Tory. He grabbed Miguel and pulled him off of Tory. He sent a punch, but Sam pushed his hand away. "Let me go!" Kat yelled, only just realizing Noah was still holding onto her.

"No!" He yelled back, tightening his grip. "Get off her!" Robby yelled, rushing to Noah and pulling him off. "I knew you still had a soft spot for this bitch." Lilah shot at Robby.

As Sam was still holding onto Isaiah, Tory took the opportunity to sweep her legs. Isaiah helped her up and Miguel helped Sam up.

Robby held Katherine up, as Noah looked at Lilah. Katherine and Robby were standing beside Miguel and Sam, while Noah and Lilah were standing beside Isaiah and Tory. They all looked at each other, and Lilah sent a kick to Katherine but she blocked it, still holding onto Robby's hands. Robby gripped her arms and she kicked both Noah and Lilah in the face.

Sam and Tory were fighting, Miguel and Isaiah were fighting, Lilah and Katherine were fighting and so was Robby and Noah. Lilah sent a kick but Kat dodged it, and sent a punch to her face. Lilah grabbed her arm and pushed her away.

Lilah rushed at her yet again and sent a punch, but Katherine grabbed her arm, and punched Lilah's ribs.

Meanwhile, Robby kicked Noah across the face, sending him to the floor. Robby looked up and saw Miguel, and immediately rushed at him. They started fighting as Noah and Isaiah started fighting now.

Robby pushed Miguel toward Sam and Tory, sending the three of them in the pool. "Oh, we're jumping in the pool?" Stingray shouted. "This is the greatest night of my life!" He ran to the pool, and jumped, shouting, "Cannonball!" Everyone else started jumping inside the pool as well.

"Wow, you managed to stay dry. Can you help me out?" Tory asked Isaiah. He held out his arm and Tory grabbed it, pulling him in the pool.

Kat and Robby looked at each other, and started laughing, both running to the pool and jumping in. They looked at each other and laughed even harder, realizing how ridiculous they look. Kat splashed water on him, and Robby did the same, both splashing water back and forth.

ROBBY and Katherine were sitting in the car Silver had gave Lilah and Robby for prom. The two were sitting in the car, laughing hysterically. "That hook kick was awesome. Did you throw that blind?" Robby asked.

"I could throw that in my sleep. But, I think the highlight of my night was still your dance moves." She said. "Thanks." Robby chuckled. "I still can't believe Silver let you borrow this car." Kat said, amused. "Yeah, I know. Gotta return it tomorrow, though, so.." He trailed off.

"Same with this." Katherine held out the tag of her dress. "Nice!" Robby laughed. "There's no way I'm keeping this, it's too expensive. Hopefully it's all dry by then." Katherine laughed.

She put the tag back inside and looked at him, "I forgive you, you know." Robby smiled, and suddenly, they were both lost in each other's eyes. The tension was thick, and you could hear a pin drop. In that moment, Katherine didn't care about anything. And neither did Robby. It was only them, in that moment.

Robby felt like he had waited years for this moment to come. His eyes trailed to every inch of her face, looking at every perfect feature. The soft glow of the moonlight shone in her face perfectly, making every delicate feature of her face stand out.

Robby's breath caught up in his throat when his emerald green eyes landed on her soft pink lips. Katherine flickered her eyes to Robby's lips as well, and it felt like they both read each other's minds.

He leaned in, putting a hand on her cheek and kissing her. Their lips met in a slow and gentle kiss, and she melted into it right away, instantly kissing him back. He slipped his tongue inside her mouth. Their tongues danced together, exploring every inch of each other's mouths. She pulled away and got on top of him, Robby's hands going around her waist as she kissed him again, putting her hands around his neck.

Katherine felt alive in that moment, and she didn't want it to end. It was like they were meant for each other, two halves in one whole. Katherine felt like she almost couldn't take it being far away from him. It was like a burning passion that couldn't be contained. It was as if they were made for each other, their bodies moving in sync.

Robby knew that Katherine was the one. It wasn't Sam, it was her. And he felt like an idiot for ever choosing Sam in the first place when she was right there. After he joined Cobra Kai, he felt like he fucked up every chance of getting Katherine back, but here they both were.

At the moment, they didn't care if anyone saw them. If Sam had seen or figured out that Katherine kissed Robby, Kat honestly couldn't give a damn. She wanted to follow her heart, and be with Robby.

REACHING home, Noah walked Lilah up to the front door. "Thanks for bringing me home." She said with a small smile.

"No problem." Noah smiled as well. "I figured Robby would be with that girl anyway." He continued. Lilah sighed deeply, "please don't remind me of her." Noah chuckled, "all right. Goodnight, loser. I have to get back."

Just as he was about to leave, Lilah called out. "Wait!" He turned around, scowling. "Yes?" Lilah walked up to him, and smiled, placing a small kiss to his lips. Noah froze, raising his brows slightly. "Now, you can go." She whispered against his lips.

Noah smiled, pressing another kiss to her lips and turning around to leave. But then, he turned back around, "wait, does this mean we're dating?"

"It could be." She shrugged, opening the front door and going inside. He smiled widely, reaching the car and opening the door. Lilah closed the front door and once she was alone, she immediately smiled and ran upstairs to her room.

A/N: AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! first of all, i wanna thank the 6.87k people who have the time to read this book. it means a lot to me, and its highly motivating for me to continue this. my absolute dream is for this book to reach 1 million reads, but we'll never know.

anyway, two kiss scenes!!!! i absolutely LOVED writing this chapter, and really excited to end this season and start season 5. honestly it feels like i started writing season 4 just yesterday, and now we're almost done!!!
