budding student photographer 𝑅𝐸𝑀𝑈𝑆 𝐿𝑈𝑃𝐼𝑁 has always been one to stay out of the spotlight - much preferring to stand behind the camera rather than in front of it. troubled by a history of sudden and uncontrollable violence, leading to a string of expulsions throughout his school years, his life is only just beginning to piece itself together when his parents decide to file for divorce.

in an effort to avoid the imminent outburst, remus chooses instead to spend his days wandering the city streets with his camera, capturing the wonder which seems to be present in everyone else's lives but his own. that is until the day fate (and an oncoming storm) drives him through the doors of a tiny backstreet coffee shop and into the path of an enigmatic young barista with constellations on his skin and diamonds in his eyes.

with the help of 𝑆𝐼𝑅𝐼𝑈𝑆 𝐵𝐿𝐴𝐶𝐾 and his wild circle of friends, remus finally begins to recognise the beauty in his own world - the experiences they share beneath the city lights, the laughter exchanged over whiskey and wine - causing him to start a new project, capturing the lives of a group of twenty-somethings on film. running from both their teenage years and adulthood all at once. their entire existence is a movie - one remus wishes will never end.

but even stars die eventually.

and the resulting supernova will rock their tiny shared universe forever.

hey guys! whatddya know, once again vee is back with another book she doesn't have the time to write! who would've thought? in all seriousness though this is actually a vague reboot of a book i started a couple of months ago and eventually took down because i didn't think the story fit - i will eventually write the book where sirius and marlene fake date to convince hogwarts they're straight, but this is not that book.

ever since i wrote instagram - my marauders socials au - like five years ago, i've been irritated with a number of things within that book. i personally really don't like how it doesn't even have a plot at all, it's just random pictures with comments underneath, plus there's no wolfstar and loads of random marauders ocs in it that don't make sense because the book they came from was eventually deleted. however, instagram has been getting attention recently, and since the demise of mine and dani's sweet summer child nr, i've been feeling the need to start a new modern au. i'm also living for wolfstar/marauders era angst at the moment, so here we go. techinically this is instagram v.2 only with an actual plot and a lot of sadness. oh, and wolfstar ofc.

just to let you know, this is a modern, non-magic marauders story - so hogwarts doesn't exist and they never went there. instead remus meets the gang much later when they're all in their early twenties, and though they're all similar in looks to their canon selves, some may seem a little ooc in this as i've changed it up a bit to fit the current age storyline. the idea for starboy was inspired by some of my favourite teen/early adult contemporary novels, shows and movies such as perks of being a wallflower, i'll give you the sun and i am not okay with this, and i really hope you guys enjoy it as i've been planning some wolfstar tragedy for a long time.
