"Kimberlyyyy," Charlie whined. It was a few days after the boy's arrival, and the duo were resting on the couch after spending the whole day in central park. "Have you heard back from the casting director for PJO?"

Kimberly shook her head. "Nope," she said, popping the 'p'. "Hold up." Kim sat up. "I might as well hear back fro m them now." She said as she accepted the call and put it on speaker.

"Hey Becky!" Kimberly greeted. "Hi Kimberly! Sorry we didn't get back to you earlier, there is a lot of chaos with casting, scripts and other stuff, but I'm sure you don't want me to get deep into it."

"It's fine, I understand. I would imagine it's pretty hectic since there is a lot of pressure." Kim chuckled.

"Hey Becky!" Charlie interrupted, prompting Kimberly to smack his arm. "Shut up!" She exclaimed.

"It's all good," Becky chuckled on the other side of the line. "Is that Charlie?"

"Yeah... Wait, do you know each other?" Kimberly asked, very confused.

"Yeah, Charlie is playing Luke. Did he not tell you?" Kimberly's jaw (quite literally) hit the floor when she heard the news. She slowly turned her head to see Charlie smiling sheepishly.

She quickly tackled the boy off the bed after muting herself on the call. "You couldn't have told me? You knew I was auditioning for a part and you didn't think to tell me?" Kimberly exclaimed. Charlie played with his hands anxiously. "Dumbass," the girl muttered under her breath with a smile, immediately letting the boy know that Kimberly was joking around. "Okay, we will discuss this in a minute. I want to find out whether I got the part or not."

Kimberly took a few deep breaths to calm down before unmuting herself. "Sorry, I had to deal with something."

"No problem! So, back to your role... I have to say, you didn't book the role for the first season..." Becky paused for a moment, and Kim's excitement plummeted. "But for all of the upcoming seasons that will be made." Becky continued.

Kimberly let out a small squeal after a little pause to process what just happened."ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod," she continued repeating. "Thank you so much. This has been my dream for so long. Holy sh-. I can't wait to work on this."

"And we can't wait for you to join us! The whole schedule and all of the details will be sent to you as soon as they are finalized in the next few weeks." Becky said before ending the call.

Kimberly squealed again and pinched herself to make sure she isn't dreaming right now. "Congrats! I knew you could do it!" Charlie congratulated from his spot on the floor. Kimberly grinned down to the boy. "Now come on, we gotta celebrate."
