Our duo,Haname and Kairu are currently inside Sakuronomiya Bakery.

It was a Saturday morning,the streets not so crowded and the sky filled with soft transparent clouds.

Kairu didn't know how their conversation started from the topic of vampires to the existence of pink lemons.

"Wanna hangout with me?"

"Don't you have work?"

"Nah I just cleaned the place a little"

"Eh,sure why not"

" 'kay let me change real quick"

"Take your time"

"Hah! Beat that!"

"Okay"

"Wha- man..." Haname sighed as she gave Kairu five hundred yen.

"So,what now?"

"Claw machine!"

"You won't win"

"We'll see about that"

" get that dog "

" I want the cat "

" but I want the dog "

" who cares what you want "

" you do, you're my friend after all "

" says who? "

"...."

" exactly, but I guess I can get the dog too "

" yayyy thanks,you're the best! "

" I know "

" what is that "

" uh, cotton candy? "

" does it taste good? "

" you've never had cotton candy before?? "

Haname asked as Kairu shaked his head saying 'no'.

Haname tore off a piece and handed it to him, " here, have a taste " she smiled at the boy.

Instead of taking it, Kairu ate the sugary treat from Haname's hands making her blink owlishly, though she didn't mind, she thought it was quite cute.

" I don't like it "

" well I do "

" so wait, you had a pet firefly??- "

" yea "

" uh..what,happened to it?? "

" my mom set it free, I cried for weeks "

" o-oh.. Well, we can ca- "

" Oh??? PRETTY BOY!! "

" oh no this is terrible "

" no time to ask, run "

" KAI!! I FINALLY FOU- "

The duo, along with the boy Kairu was trying to avoid currently sat at a fast food restaurant.

" My name's Kita Ayumu and I'm Kairu's boyfriend:] "

" as if! I'd never date a guy! "

" but, you said you love me;( "

" when did I ever say that?! "

Curious to know more about Ayumu,

" Which school do you go to Kita-san? " Haname asked the boy who's currently trying to grab Kairu's face.

" oh Denshi High School, but I can transfer to yours if you want:] "

" you don't have to do that.. "

" wahh you're so lucky Hana-chan, you get to see Kai's pretty face every morning till afternoon

I'm so jealous~ "

" what are you doing here Ayumu " Kairu asked while slapping Ayumu's hand away from his face. Ayumu pouted but answered his question,

" My mom wanted to set me up on a blind date so I escaped "

" you're funn– " Haname said but got interrupted,

" he's mine "

...

" huh? " said Haname, " don't think I don't know what you're doing! Just because you're a cute girl doesn't mean I'm gonna let you take him away from me! " shouted Ayumu after he slammed his hands on the table.

The customers inside the restaurant focused their attention on them for a few seconds before resuming to minding their own business.

" I-i mean..Kai will be mine>:( "

" what is wrong with you bro " Kairu sighed as he took a bite out of his burger.

As Ayumu was reaching to grab Kairu's hand, a call from his phone made him halt his movements.

" hello~ ",the other line was silent which made Ayumu confused, " heyyy " still no answer.

After a few seconds of dead silence, the call ended. Shortly after, he received a text that said,

[ Kita Ayumu you better be ready to do these assignments once you get home. ]

Ayumu looked at the sender and saw it was his mom who sent it.
" who was that? " Haname questioned, " my mom, let's just say I'm gonna suffer later "

" oh " Haname said to the cheerful boy.

" I have to go now my love, but worry not! I shall call you later when I arrive at my home "

" please don't " Kairu sighed as he swatted Ayumu's hand away from him, " Hana-chan, let's talk again sometime!^^ " Ayumu held both of my hands in his " mhm! " I said reciprocating the boy's energy.

Watching as his figure grow further away from us until he's no longer visible, I turned to my black haired friend who was busy talking to a cat.

" Ayumu seems like a nice person "

" I guess.. " Kairu stood up after finishing his conversation with the cat, " what now? " he asked me

" I don't know, what do you want to do? "

" die "

" uh.. Let's go to the movies? "

" bleh boring, but okay I guess "

" it wasn't even that good, why are you crying "

" he died before he could confess to her, and she killed herself to be with him! "

" I'm more concerned on who's gonna take care of the dude's cat " Kairu said as he played a game on his phone, I blew my nose and wiped my tears " what game is that? " I asked

" it's.. Get him.. Uh.. It's called Moonlight Destiny or something.. YES " he said looking quite happy.

We went to the park and sat on one of the nearby benches, he continued playing his game while I sat beside him bored.

While Kairu was occupied, I decided to see how many leaves I can put on top of his head.

Soon enough, his head was covered in leaves but he appears to not notice yet, or he just doesn't care. I decided to take a walk around and play with the dogs nearby.

" okay I'm bored again, where to now Haname? "

...

" did she ditch me? Well damn " I said while putting my phone in my pocket, standing up to leave,I noticed that there were leaves on my head that fell when I stood up, I also saw Haname's slingbag beside me.

" it's either she forgot it or she was kidnapped " I picked it up and began walking around the place to try and find her, " heyy, Haname! I have your bag! " There were only a few people around yet I don't see her at all

" I guess she really left then " just when I was about to leave the park, a rock hit the back of my head, hard.

Getting ready to punch the hell out of who ever threw that, I saw Haname grinning at me holding a handful of pebbles, " bleh "

...

Kairu picked up some pebbles and chased after the girl around the park, they both ran off somewhere secluded while their rock-throwing fight intensified.

After they both got hit with rocks, they went to a stall that sold takoyakis and other street food varieties.

" you hit my head so hard I think my one last brain cell flew out " Haname rubbed her head and hissed at the bruise, " you were the one who threw a rock at me first " Kairu said nonchalantly.

It was 5:42 in the evening as the two teens ate together under the setting sun.
