ADELINE OSBORN was born from greatness, coming from a powerful family known for their scientific research and the next heir for Oscorp. Only having her brother, she often felt the family burden of following her father's footsteps to have his approval and love. She was the exception, expectation after seeing Harry being neglected for not inheriting the family's brilliance. Still being second best when it came to him, a female who was viewed for being incapable and inadequate of taking over a large company. The girl wanted a change in her life, not just being called Osborn's daughter but known for her skills and talents she always wanted to pursue.

PETER PARKER was gifted with greatness, a young genius that struggled to be recognized and respected coming from a middle-class household. After his parents' death and living with his aunt and uncle, he was determined to do what it takes to make them proud. He was the next prodigy, finally given a chance to prove his peers in hopes of getting a better life for himself. The first in his family, the future scientist who aspires to create new discoveries and breakthroughs to help others who were unable. The boy wished for a better life, no longer having to be called names for being different but respected and heard to share his knowledge in science.

THEY WERE two sides of the same coin. A girl who dared to make a name for herself and a boy that became a renowned hero in New York. Destined for something greater than themselves, a force that brought them closer than they think and entangled in a web. She was in love with Peter, but he wanted Mary Jane... yet again, Adeline was second best. Then Spider-man came to the picture, who she met a few times after being saved and offered her friendship. Now Peter has to decide either his best friend's sister or neighbor he grew up with, discovering feelings he never felt before. However, will destiny work in their favor or tear them apart? Perhaps it was part of the price they paid, to have everything but the one thing they wanted.

Seeing how few fanfics are for his version I decided to make one and can I just say how excited I am for it. Also, not me simping for the Osborn family... and doing a slow burn with lots of angsty.
