Jess, Miguel, and Hawk sat together at the Cobra Kai dojo. They were all silently stretching until Hawk spoke, "So, I did a deep dive online, and you were right. Sensei's definitely Keene's father".

Jess and Miguel sighed. Jess rolled her eyes at the news. It made sense now on why Johnny was so hard on Miguel and Hawk because they were unfair to Robby. Jess's blood boiled as she realized that Johnny had been lying to them the entire time. To make matters worse Aisha came over with news that was for sure going to make Jess loose her cool.

"You guys, have you seen the commercial?", Aisha stood next to the three. She looked down at them expecting them to say 'yes', but all she got were confused glances.

"Jess, your dad started his own dojo and dissed Cobra Kai," Aisha explained. Jess grabbed the phone out of Aisha's hand and watched the commercial. Sure enough, Daniel was sitting in the middle of the screen talking about his dojo. Jess's hand gripped the phone tighter as she heard Daniel mention the "snake in the grass".

"You've got to be shitting me! Why would he do this?" Jess looked at everyone with anger in her eyes.

"Can't you just talk to your dad?", Aisha asked. Miguel gave Jess a sympathetic look since he was the only one that knew about the argument she had with her dad.

Jess stood up angrily,"I shouldn't have to talk to my dad about this. He shouldn't have done it in the first place".

Before anyone else could speak Johnny came out of his office with an angry look on his face.

"LaRusso! Come over here," Jess gave her friends a weird look before slowly making her way towards Johnny.

"Yes, Sensei?" Jess stared at Johnny expectantly.

"Did you know about the commercial your dad made?" Johnny asked. Jess was shocked that Johnny would think that.

"No, Sensei, I didn't," Jess held back a glare thinking that Johnny was gonna give her crap for something she didn't do, but Johnny simply nodded continued to speak.

"Good. I didn't think you did, but I had to make sure. You and the rest of the class are gonna help me with something," Johnny said with a determined look on his face. Jess furrowed her eyebrows, "What's your plan?"

Johnny simply smiled as he walked to the front of the class.

"There's a lot of talk going around the Valley about free karate," Johnny stood in front of the class. His "master plan" was to make a badass commercial that would convince kids to join Cobra Kai instead, and so far it was working.

"But everyone knows that in life you get what you pay for," Johnny pointed at the camera as if he was talking directly to the person watching the commercial. Aisha walked closer to Johnny as she held her phone in her hands. She offered to record the commercial, and she currently had the biggest smile on her face.

"You really wanna kick the competition?" As Johnny said this he kick a pot that had a bonsai tree in it. It shattered and all of its contents flew into the face of the student that was holding it. Johnny had thought of this as a direct burn at Miyagi Do.

"Then you need to get your ass over to Cobra Kai. Screw that lame meditation bullshit. What you need is bone-crunching, face-smashing, good old American karate," Johnny attacked the dummy, showing off the skills that students would learn at Cobra Kai.

"Enough about self-defense. Learn self offense. Don't be a pussy. Join Cobra Kai and let me teach you the way of the fist," Johnny finished with a determined smirk and his fist held in front of his face.

"And cut," Aisha lowered her phone. Johnny lowered his arm and walked forward, "All right, we get it?"

"I think so," Aisha smiled.

"All right, great. Make sure the Cobra Kai snake comes in at the end, all right? I want it to really pop. Make it chrome," Johnny started to walk away as he listed everything he wanted in the video. Jess bit her lip as she tried her best to hold back a laugh. Everyone found it funny how small Johnny's knowledge on technology was.

"And throw "Thunderstruck" under it," Johnny pointed at Aisha. She cast a nervous glance at Jess, but she just shrugged in response.

"I'm pretty sure the rights for that song will cost too much," Aisha stated.

"No, I already own it. Cassette's i the car," Johnny pointed outside towards his car. The class gave him a weird look.

"Oh, and put one of those hashbrowns at the end. You know, like, "hashbrown team Cobra Kai" or something. And then send it to the internet!," Johnny threw his arm up dramatically as he entered his office.

"He can't be that oblivious, can he?" Timmy whispered to Jess. She simply nodded as she laughed, "Oh yes he can".

Hawk and Miguel walked up to Jess with nervous looks on their faces. Jess raised an eyebrow at their attitude.

"What's got you two so nervous? You look like your about to piss your pants," Jess laughed slightly.

"We're gonna confront Sensei about the whole Keene situation. Do you want to come?" Miguel asked. Jess shook her head as she pushed the two boys towards the room Johnny was in.

"Nope! You guys can do that. Have fun and don't get killed," Jess gave them a sarcastic smile as she walked away.

Timmy walked over towards her, "What was that about?"

Jess pulled him away from the rest of the class before lowering her voice down to a whisper.

"You remember that kid that was solo at the All Valley?" Timmy nodded his head.

"Well that kid's name is Robby Keene and he's Johnny's son," Jess told him. Timmy's eyes widened in shock. He looked back at Johnny before looking at Jess again.

"Holy shit! Really," Timmy yelled out. Jess quickly covered his mouth and nodded.

"Yes. Now do you want to be a little louder, Timothy? Maybe so that the whole class could hear? Or maybe even the entire Valley," Jess's eyes widen as she looked back towards the room Johnny was in.

Timmy lowered her hand, his cheeks now a little red from her comment, "Sorry", he whispered.

As he said this Miguel and Hawk walked out of Johnny's office with sad looks on their faces. Jess dragged Timmy towards the two boys.

"So, what happened? What did he say?" Jess asked as she observed the boys faces.

"He got mad at us for snooping in his business," Hawk said.

"But he admitted that Robby was his son," Miguel confirmed.

"Why do you think he got so mad?" Timmy asked looking at the three teens.

"I don't know," Jess said shaking her head as she looked towards the room Johnny was in. Her mind filled with millions of thoughts.

Aisha had texted Jess telling her that Miyagi Do was going to be performing at Valley Fest. Jess was annoyed when she found out the news. She knew her father would do something like that because he was too scared to let Cobra Kai become know.

Jess and all of Cobra Kai were watching Miyagi Do perform their routine as they waited to crash their moment. Jess scoffed as she watched the whole thing. Miyagi Do's style was nothing like Cobra Kai's.

"It looks like their performing a dance instead of karate," Jess told Aisha. She giggled and nodded signaling that she agreed with Jess.

Miguel turned around and faces all of Cobra Kai, "Ok guys, Johnny gave us the signal so line up"

Jess and Timmy lined up next to each other. They stood right behind Miguel and Hawk. Johnny gave them all the signal and they started their plan. The class yelled out "COBRA KAI!" and started to run towards the stage. As they ran they kept chanting "Cobra Kai". Miyagi Do had stopped their performance and was now watching all of Cobra Kai with glares on their faces.

As Jess ran on stage she made eye contact with Robby. She smiled at him and gave him a small sarcastic wave. Robby rolled his eyes as Jess turned back to face the crowd.

They all started to do crazy tricks showing off all the skills they had learned. After a few minutes of fighting it was time for Jess's big moment.

Jess stood in the middle of Timmy, Miguel, Aisha, and Hawk. Each of them held a wooden board. Jess nodded her head signaling to them that's he was ready. Jess started to jump up and kick each board, breaking it in half. Jess ended her performance with a cool flip, and when she landed she was met with a loud round of applause. The smile on Jess's face was big as she looked out at the crowd. She bowed and headed backstage in order to get ready for Johnny's final act.

The students had set up bricks at the front of the stage. Johnny walked up to the bricks as he inspected them. He stopped in front of them and yelled out to some of the students.

"Cobras, light it up!"

Two students walked over to Johnny and set the pile of bricks on fire. Once the students had walked away, Johnny took one last glance at the audience before he slammed his fist into the bricks. They all shattered from the impact, but Johnny's arm was left untouched. Not a single scratch or burn remained.

The entire crowd went crazy as they started to chant repeatedly, "Cobra Kai!"

The Cobras walked over to Johnny and lined up next to him. Miguel and Jess stood on each side of Johnny.

"You did it, Sensei," Miguel said as he look at Johnny. Pride was written all over his face. Johnny didn't remove his eyes from the crowd as he spoke, "No, we did it".

Jess smiled and looked back to the crowd. She then remembered that her dad and sister were still there. She glanced over at the three only to see them glaring at all of Cobra Kai. She made eye contact with her dad. She could see that there was a shimmer of hope in his eye that maybe she would stop what had happened, but she didn't care. Instead, she gave Daniel an evil smirk. Daniel looked shocked, but before he could say anything she had already turned her attention back towards the crowd.

It was at that moment where Daniel LaRusso finally realized that he might never get his daughter back.
