Jess stood in front of the blonde man smirking. After she had left her house she had no where to go. The night she got into an argument with her dad she roamed around for a few hours before she went back to her house. She snuck in through her window and packed a bag full of clothes and some small essentials. She then left her house without sparing even a glance at what she had once called home. Now here she was, standing in front of her Sensei's house, with no where to go.

"Jess? What are you doing here?" Johnny wasn't mad that his student was visiting him, but he was shocked and most importantly concerned for why she was suddenly at her door.

Jess shrugged, "I'm homeless". She couldn't have been more blunt in the way that she said that one simple line. Johnny stared at her with wide eyes. He was more shocked by how calmly she said that then the fact that she had no house.

"How about you come in and we can talk about it?" Johnny moved aside so that Jess could walk in. Jess nodded and stepped inside. Her nostrils were immediately filled with the smell of cheap beer and Slim Jim's. Out of instinct Jess gagged. She looked around and observed the place where her Sensei lived.

"You live in a pigsty," Jess scrunched her nose in disgust.

"It's not a pigsty! Sorry that I don't have a diamond covered ceiling and a butler ready to get whatever you need," Johnny rolled his eyes as he sat back down roughly in his chair.

Jess scoffed at the thought of her house. It was nothing like Johnny had described it, but she knew she was much more privileged than others.

"I don't want to talk about that hell hole," Jess sat down on the kitchen counter. She noticed a picture of three women in bikinis facing a pool. All you could see was their back and long hair.

"You know these chicks?" Jess signaled at the painting.

Johnny shook his head as he opened another bottle of beer, "nope".

Jess looked at Johnny weirdly. She looked at the painting and then looked back at her Sensei.

"So you're telling me that you just have a picture of three random women hanging on your wall?" Jess raised an eyebrow. Johnny looked over at her and shrugged.

"Yeah. Why not?"

"Because it's weird and and is something a pervert would do," Jess hopped off the counter and walked over to Johnny. She sat down on the only couch in Johnny's apartment, but stood up quickly. She looked down and noticed multiple empty bottles of beer. She rolled her eyes and swept them off the couch with her arm. She sat back down and looked at Johnny.

"And you said you didn't live in a pigsty"

Johnny rolled his eyes once again before turning serious.

"Why are you here Jess?" Johnny leaned forward waiting for an answer from the young LaRusso girl sitting in front of him.

"I already told you Lawrence. I'm homeless. Much like you used to be," Jess smirked.

"I was never-! You know what? That's not the point. I know that you're homeless, but why?" Johnny said getting annoyed with the girl.

Jess rolled her eyes and leaned back in her chair. She knew she could trust Johnny, but the LaRusso girl always had a hard time talking about her feelings.

"I got into an argument with my dad. I finally told him how I felt about being treated like shit compared to my other siblings, and then I just left. Said that I wasn't coming back until he could love me like he loves everyone else," Jess looked at the ground embarrassed. She hated feeling weak more than anything. It made her blood boil with anger. She straightened her posture and looked straight into Johnny's eyes.

"So here I am. Homeless and unloved," Jess said with no emotion. Johnny sighed as he sat next to Jess.

"You're not unloved, Jess-" he was cut off by the girl angrily standing up.

"Oh yeah?! Then why does everyone at school hate me?! Why do my own parents, the ones who brought me into this fucking world look, at me with pure disgust? My parents should love me just like they love the perfect Samantha LaRusso! They love Anthony more than me! Which is concerning and it hurts," Johnny stared at the girl as she ranted. He hated that Daniel was so unfair to her. He just wanted to walk over to LaRusso's house and kick his ass.

"You know what, LaRusso. Anyone who hates you can fuck themselves. You're a good kid and I don't want to ever see you doubt yourself because of other low lives. Is that clear?" Jess looked at Johnny. She nodded slowly.

"Now I'm hungry. You want a Slim Jim?"

"Class, we have a visitor"

Johnny stood in front of the dojo. He seemed off and looked like he wasn't completely focused.

"This is Mr. Kreese. He's just an observer. Pretend like he's not even here," Johnny looked at Miguel.

"Mr. Diaz, warm them up," Johnny steps aside and walks over to Kreese. Miguel walks up and turns to the class. Miguel bows and everyone repeats his actions.

"Fighting positions!"

"Front kick"

"Yuh!"

"Forward strike"

"Yuh!"

"Side jab!"

"Yuh!"

Everyone, except Jess, dabbed. Everyone laughed, but Johnny wasn't so amused.

"What the hell was that?" Johnny walks towards Miguel. He looked at Johnny worriedly, "we were just messing around".

"We have 11 and a half months until the next All Valley," Miguel said. Jess observed the whole situation confused. Johnny had been pretty laid back because the All Valley was so far away. What was with the sudden change?

"Yeah, besides, we already know how to kick ass," everyone laughed at what Hawk said.

"Oh, yeah, really, huh? So, you know everything. There's nothing left to learn, huh?" Aisha starts giggling as Johnny is talking. Jess elbows her in an effort to get her to shut up, but it was too late. Johnny looked at her and walked towards her. He stopped in front of her and looked down.

"What's so funny, Ms. Robinson?" Johnny looked at her seriously. Aisha shook her head and laughed.

"I'm sorry, Sensei. You just wouldn't understand," Aisha looked at the ground.

"Try me," Johnny kept staring at her. Aisha looked at Miguel before she spoke.

"It's a snake-do," everyone laughed, but Johnny just looked around confused. Johnny turned to Jess, "what's a snake-do?". Jess just shrugged, but the whole class lifted their arm making it look like a snake and they started hissing. Johnny looked around embarrassed before he let out a very aggressive, "QUIET!"

Immediately, everyone stopped. Johnny walked away, but spoke to the class one last time.

"5:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Corner of Fulton and Raymer. You don't show, and you're off the team. Class dismissed"

โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โœงโ—ฆโ™šโ—ฆโœงโ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”

"Don't add too much water. You wanna make it nice and thick"

Jess aggressively mixed as Timmy poured more cement. Johnny wasn't kidding when he said that if you didn't make it he would kick you off the team. One kid couldn't make it, and let's just say that he was no longer in Cobra Kai. Jess wiped her forehead with her arm, exhausted from all the hard work.

"Sensei, why are we mixing cement?" Miguel asked as he mixed cement.

"No questions. Keep stirring!"

Jess groaned and poked the cement roughly, "this is bullshit," Jess said to Timmy. He nodded, "ever since Kreese came he's been acting weird". Just as he said that a cement truck pulled up. Jess and Timmy shared a glance as they lowered their shovels. Johnny walks forward and shakes hands with the driver as he exits the truck. Everyone looked at each other unsure.

What was Johnny going to do?

โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โœงโ—ฆโ™šโ—ฆโœงโ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”

"You think winning the All Valley gives you the right to goof off? Well, I got news for you. Winning one championship don't mean squat. A true champion never stops training. You gotta keep moving forward...or else you could get stuck exactly where you are. It's like the cement in this trunk. That drum doesn't start turning, the cement inside will harden and get stuck. Is that what you want to happen to you?" Johnny walked back and forth as he talked to his to his students.

"No, Sensei!" Everyone yelled looking at the truck with uneasiness.

"Good. Then climb up, get inside, and make it spin," Johnny ordered. Everyone started talking to each other. Was he serious?

"Sensei, we're sorry for messing around," Aisha pleaded.

"We learned our lesson," Hawk added, but no matter what the kids said Johnny didn't care. He lowered the ladder, "Get in!"

"Sensei, this seems dangerous. I mean, the fumes alone-" Jess cut Miguel off.

"Will you shut up, grandma," she took a determined step forward.

"I'll do it, Sensei," Johnny smirked proudly at the girl.

"Get in, LaRusso!"

Hearing the girls last name, Kreese furrowed his eyebrows. The girl was a LaRusso?

Jess walked towards the ladder and climbed into the truck. She looked at the all the cement, "holy shit," she muttered under her breath. She stepped inside and almost fell because of how slippery the truck was. Miguel, Hawk, and Timmy followed behind Jess. They all looked at each other, but no one did anything. They just looked around amazed by all the cement.

Johnny popped his head inside, "don't just stand there. You wanna get stuck? Move!"

All of them walked forward and put their hands on the wall of the cement mixer and started pushing. They all grunted as they pushed as hard as they could, but they made no progress.

"Let's go, guys! Move it!" Johnny yelled from outside.

"Come on you pussies! Push harder!" Jess yelled as she pushed with all her might. After a minute of pushing, the mixer started to move. The mixer started moving faster as the kids gained more confidence and determination.

When Johnny finally told them that they could stop they all cheered and high fives each other. Jess slipped and fell, but she just laughed as she sat there soaked in cement.

โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โœงโ—ฆโ™šโ—ฆโœงโ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ‹†

"You should be proud of yourselves. I know I'm proud," Johnny sprayed everyone with water in an effort to get the cement off a little before it dried completely on the kids.

"Your parents would be proud, too, if you told them what we did here today, which we won't. You pushed forward like champions. Never stopping. Never being satisfied. Never giving up. And if you keep pushing and keep moving forward, you're gonna go to places you never even dreamed of," Johnny looked at Jess and nodded at her. She gave him a small smile and nodded back.

โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โœงโ—ฆโ™šโ—ฆโœงโ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”

"Sensei, you home?"

Jess heard Miguel call from the door. She stood up and existed the room that Johnny had given her. She walked over towards the boy.

"Jess? What are you doing in Sensei's house?" Miguel looked at her confused. Jess sighed as she sat down on the counter. She hadn't told anyone, except Timmy that she was staying with Johnny. And the only reason she didn't stay with Timmy was because his mom thought that she was a bad influence.

"Uh...I live here now," Jess looked at Miguel waiting for his reaction. Miguel furrowed his eyebrows.

"Why are you living with Sensei? Aren't your parents rich?" Miguel asked closing the door.

"I got into an argument with my dad. My family and I don't have the best relationship," Jess picked at her nails embarrassed.

"Oh. Well, if you ever need to talk you can always call me. Or now you can come over since you live right across from me," Miguel said sincerely. Jess looked up and smiled and him.

"Thanks, Miguel. That means a lot," Miguel smiles and nodded.

"I came here to drop off some food. You want some?," Jess nodded eagerly and sat down at the table. Miguel handed her the container of food. Jess looked down and tilted her head.

"What is this? It looks good, but I have no clue what it is," Jess said.

Miguel opens the refrigerator to put away another container of food, "it's fritada, mote, empanadas con queso (with cheese), and tortillas de papa. I'm Ecuadorian so my grandma is always cooking really good food," Miguel explains as Jess takes a bite. Her eye widen and she looked up at Miguel.

"Holy shit," she said with her mouth full. "This is the best thing I've ever had!" Jess kept stuffing her face with food. Miguel laughed at the girl.

"You and Sensei should come over for dinner sometime," Jess nods as she kept eating.

Miguel placed the container in the refrigerator and went to close the door, but he noticed a picture of a young boy on the door. He unclipped it and took a closer look. He immediately recognized it as the one and only, Robby Keene.

"Robby Keene?" Miguel muttered as he looked at the photo. Jess looked up at the mention of the boys name.

"What did you say?" Jess swallowed and stood up walking towards Miguel. She looked over his shoulder and saw the photo in his hands. Her eyes widened when she recognized the boy in the picture. She snatched the photo from Miguel's hands and took a closer look. Miguel and Jess looked at each other with wide eyes.

"What the fuck?"

So if you guys didn't know, I'm half Ecuadorian (and half Puerto Rican) same as Miguel. So i thought that I would show you what Jess when Miguel came over.

(This is fritada. I don't really know how to explain it, but it pork and it's so fucking good)

(The photo is shitty, but this is mote. You might know it as hominy. It's kind of like a corn in a way. We usually add a lot to it not really like the picture shows. This is really good as well and my dad makes this for breakfast sometimes, but instead he cooks eggs into it with bacon. That dish is called mote pillo)

(These are my favorite, empanadas. Many Spanish countries make their own version of empanadas and they can contain many things. The ones my family makes all the time is just a plain empanada with cheese. You can eat it with the whole meal and for dessert after. When you eat it for dessert you sprinkle sugar on top and it's so good)

(Last, but not least, these are tortillas de papa. I actually hate these ๐Ÿคฃ it's kind of like a mashed potato but with a lot of seasoning and then you add a sauce on top (the one shown in the picture))

Usually, these are all eaten together. That's why I added them.

Robby Picture of the Day:

(Yes I took a screenshot of his beautiful face from a Tik Tok)
