❝ ANCIENT HISTORY ❞

THE ELEMENTALS ARE an ancient species that now, due to unfortunate circumstances, are a rare occurrence. what used to be a species of thousands is now only existing in four families with ancient elemental blood running through their veins.

The first family is hardly a family, but one man. He's an elderly man in his early 50s by the name of Elijah Nott. Elijah is one of the only earth elementals left. He spends his days feeding birds with his husband. The second family is the Martin family where George, a single father, takes care of his elemental twins. Being a fire elemental himself, it's very difficult taking care of kids on his own, especially when one of his kids, Annie, is the only earth elemental in the family (though Elijah helps when he can), while Drew is a fire elemental, like his father. The third family is a family of five: the Robinsons. though only two elementals reside in the family. The first, the mother, is named Olivia. She's one of the only air elementals left, while her youngest daughter, Delilah, is a water elemental.

The fourth and final family is the Mohegan family. A mother and daughter. Mary Anne is a water elemental and Olivia's closest friend, Mary Anne usually helps teach Delilah about her abilities where Olivia can't. Evangeline, Mary Anne's only daughter, is much harder to explain. she is considered an anomaly. She's the only elemental and almost a century to show the signs of controlling all the elements. 

Once a year each family meets with each other to make sure the others are safe and not in danger. They're the last of the species so they are very protective of each other. they are like family to each other, they love each other and would do anything for each other.

When Evangeline is pulled into the world of ancient shapeshifters, her family will stop at nothing to keep her out of other species grasps.
